from a yellow Camaro in Ohio that crashed into this person's living room and an idiot cop Who Parked his Cruiser across active train tracks to a pit maneuver in Arkansas that sent this officer skidding into the guard rail and much more here are some of the wildest police chases that ended in [Music] disaster September 17th of 2012 22 Weld County Colorado Platville officer Pablo Vasquez had just pulled over a pickup truck on the side of County Road 38 according to a 911 caller the driver 20-year-old yareni Rios was waving a gun out the window while driving down the highway backup arrived and both officers positioned themselves behind vasquez's SUV somehow neither officer noticed that the squad car was parked across the train tracks trck I'm right behind you Vasquez I'm going to your passenger side dispat left 346 one at gun Point driver let me see your hand after a few back and forth minutes yareni finally emerged from the truck and allowed police to arrest her without incident they asked her if she had any guns in the car to which she responded no to be safe they placed her in vasquez's SUV and searched the pickup themselves pay attention as our officers inspect the truck you can hear a train getting closer and closer by the time our officers realize what's happening it's too late when I was behind her she was driving slow enough yeah so she could have tossed something but I lit toss it out the window she could have out that window but who is that heart no that's a oh my God oh my God move your car stay back just hit by a train just for us medical emerg the suspect was in the vehicle that was hit by the train our officers sprinted to the crash site which was a few hundred ft from where they initially pulled yareni over when they got there all they found was a mangled police SUV thankfully yaren was still alive inside watch the fence according to her attorney yareni suffered a traumatic brain injury during the crash she successfully sued the cities of Platville and Fort Lupton for $8.5 million it looks like they'll have to update their training manuals to ensure officers do not park their squad cars on active train tracks we're going into the southbound Lanes of travel or North oh crap February 26th of 2019 was a tragic day in Franklin County Michigan it began when Lieutenant Edward schillig of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office spotted a 2011 chevrol Cruise speeding eastbound on Route 33 near the Fairfield line he flipped on his lights and sirens and pursued the vehicle in his marked police SUV while other officers got ready with spike strips up ahead let me know where they at I try get okay we a mile from d Road to westbound driver is a young red H copy now he's back over right all right he got spiked he got spiked we're still 33 West down after hitting the the spike strips our driver turned off the highway onto Hamilton Road he hopped into the opposite lane and then made the worst mistake of his young life firm he just about try to take me out he you missed him passing Hamilton Square still going about 60 southbound Hamilton from Hamilton Square we're going in the southbound Lanes of travel oh crap he just hit somebody he just human due to the graphic nature of the footage we've decided not to show the moment of impact just know that our driver struck a 61-year-old man who never saw the chase coming sadly Arthur L Smith III spent the next 3 months in the hospital before passing away from his injuries Hamilton Square Hamilton you the we're Northbound we're Northbound not South okay they Northbound Hamilton here Winchester Park 29 45 they [Music] coming the get the one in red get the one in red he's only one that counts the driver in the red hoodie was identified as 16-year-old Ramadan midi his four passengers ranged in age between 12 and 16 meaning all of their ages combined were only slightly older than the man they struck police learned that the teenage gang had stole in the car along with dozens of credit cards and were on their way to Florida when the chase began ramadan's young passengers were found guilty in juvenile court and sentenced to one years's probation a $100 fine and 24 hours of community service as for Ramadan he pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison hey buddy can you hear me hey buddy can you hear me hey bud if you're going to run from the police the least that you can do is wear your seat belt that's because there's a decent chance your Pursuit will end in a crash this Arkansas man learned that lesson the hard way while running from police on May 18th of 2022 it was the last lesson he ever learned it began when state trooper Matthew Walker attempted to stop a silver sedan on the highway the driver and his passenger refused to pull over instead they took Trooper Walker on a dangerous Chase through dense traffic for a moment our suspects put some distance between themselves and Trooper Walker they kept going pushing their luck with every mile marker then the law of averages took hold and their luck ran out change yeah t it's a roll over anybody else in the car one person let me check on them they got any guns in there driver in there sir I'm good you said the driver's in there yeah man oh you see in there no he's not got just sit down damn Adam 4ed talking cheing on the D hey buddy can you hear me hey buddy can you hear me hey bud what's his name Paul ball ball l b a l l hey ball hey ball can you hear me hey ball can you hear me buddy Mr ball later identified as Marcus Scott Jr could not hear Trooper Walker that's because Marcus wasn't wearing his seat belt and was ejected when the car rolled over sadly the 24-year-old passed away on impact Marcus was one of three people to lose their lives on Arkansas roads that day his passenger was was one of six injured in wrecks according to the state police on June 27th of 20123 officers in Tiffin Ohio were in Hot Pursuit of a yellow Camaro the driver 23-year-old Jonathan Baker had just fled the scene of a domestic dispute in North Baltimore it began as a fight between Jonathan and his girlfriend things escalated Jonathan brandished a weapon and then kidnapped her 7-month-old daughter the girlfriend called 911 telling police officers that Jonathan was threatening the baby's life they had to be extra careful to save the child and bring this madman to Justice sadly things didn't end well for either Party Station I'm behind the county unit we're still South B oneski coming up ID [Music] just went off the road into the side of a house night 607 sou and Dy a house I believe [Music] according to reports the child passed away at the hospital after Jonathan crashed the car as for Jonathan he was alive but in critical condition police only found him because his girlfriend was able to track his phone an off-duty officer spotted the yellow Camaro and chased Jonathan until The Bitter End we believe the man in plain clothes you see in this video is that off-duty officer offer Jonathan was arrested and charged with kidnapping and aggravated murder to which he pleaded not guilty in July of 20123 we believe his case is still moving through the legal system okay yeah Deputy that was that was him that just passed you right there if you're on tack five in the wrong he is driving on the wrong side of the road just out and out driving on the wrong side of the road now February 21st of 2024 is scambia County Florida Highway Patrol officers were investigating an unrelated stolen vehicle case when they witnessed a hidden run crash at the intersection of Highway 29 and Burgess Road the accident involved a white Volvo and a silver Audi the latter fled the scene leading police on this wild Chase across the Florida Panhandle multiple police officers and a sheriff's helicopter would end up chasing this 18-year-old driver watch as he weaves through traffic hits blistering speeds and puts everyone's life fed risk radi repe powerport was obviously [Music] you took the exit I'll give out the you took the exit and then you get right back on way back on this come have [Music] I right here down if we stop and zoom right here you can see where his hood is wrinkled from the initial crash according to the police a second hit and run occurred at the intersection of pineforest Road and West Detroit Boulevard though their dash cams may have missed it that's because police lost sight of the silver Audi for a few minutes thankfully their eye in the sky was able to keep everyone in the chase 29 made the left turn on to 29 back Northbound 29 okay Deputy that was that was him that just passed you right there if you're on tack five in the wrong he is driving on the wrong side of the road just out and out driving on the wrong side of the road now uh Woodland he's 29 in Woodland Avenue still Northbound and Northbound and the southbound okay he's getting turned around now so Trooper there you go that's him turning around that's him that just turned around right there so he's southbound 29 southbound 29 all right and he just made another U-turn in front of the deputy there now he's back Northbound 29 the chopper helped our officers on the ground catch up to their teenage suspect that's when one of them gave the driver a few love taps with his police cruiser find it [Music] from here the suspect takes police deep into the Florida back country where the roads are long and narrow and don't offer many Escape Routes he learns that lesson the hard way when police get behind him on Molino Road and nearly pit maneuver him him over the Alabama border andolina [Music] the suspect 18-year-old Noel Paton quat hails from Rylander Wisconsin roughly 1,200 Mi north of Escambia County they learned he was wanted in Wisconsin on felony warrants for disorderly conduct criminal damage to property felony bail jumping false imprisonment and stalking he was also arrested for marijuana possession in August of 2023 but that was likely the least of his worries for this Chase Noel was charged with aggravated fleeing several counts of hit and run and driving with a suspended license pit Maneuvers or Precision immobilization techniques are one of many tools police officers have on their high-speed chase belts it involves pulling behind a fleeing vehicle and gently tapping the rear side of their car this ideally sends the suspect into a tail spin allowing officers to swarm and box them in thus ending the chase well-executed pit Maneuvers have a decent success rate that said not all pit Maneuvers are well executed take this pit from May 10th of 2024 in Northern Little Rock Arkansas State Trooper James Booth was on patrol when a white sedan caught his eye it's unclear what the driver did but it was allegedly enough to Warrant a traffic stop judging by what happened next we assumed this driver had something to hide [Music] little 237 [Music] after a few failed attempts Trooper Booth finally put himself in position to pit the fleeing vehicle unfortunately this pit didn't go as planned [Music] [Music] thankfully Trooper Booth's car didn't flip during the crash he seemed okay and was out and talking with other officers once the dust settled as for the white sedan police were still looking for the suspect after Trooper Booth crashed let's stay in Arkansas for this next pit gone wrong this time our state trooper was gunning down the highway to catch up with a fleeing Mercedes it's unclear if the suspect had already run from a traffic stop or if our officer was already looking for their car either way he caught up with the Mercedes and went for the pit but instead of spinning the suspect out he found himself skidding into the center guard rail I [Music] [Music] again our officer is lucky the car didn't flip as it spun out he's also lucky he didn't hit any civilian Vehicles while skitting across the highway while the officers in these videos escaped without injury they'll have some explaining to do when their departments have to pay to replace the damaged Cruisers Ferris is right here here there he is September 18th of 2024 Northern Ohio an Ohio State Trooper was attempting to stop a blue Hyundai while driving in the suburbs outside of Cleveland the driver however had other ideas leading to this high-speed chase through kuah hoga County the suspect thought he pulled away from police while weaving through traffic on the highly congested roads little did he know a helicopter was overhead reporting his every move Mo all right I got him up in the corner you can disregard you just make that right hand turn southbound oh Union and kinman just blew the light okay I got him miles cutting through traffic just a little bit a little bit on the sidewalk he's making a right-and turn now eastbound on Miles the police Chopper follows our Hyundai driver into a parking lot where it looks like he'll try to bail on foot that's when he sees the helicopter gets back in his car and guns it P into like a a parking lot area is westbound tah went through the intersection on your right on your right that parking lot on your right there there there there all right he stopped right now like a church bus in the area uh he's back in a car he's going to be taken off again he's coming he's back uh Eastbound at this point there's no out running the eye in the sky our helicopter stayed on the suspect for several more miles then this happened coming up to 123rd now it's going to T intersection all right e uh just 31 possible 31a uh start fire uh signal 34 at the intersection of 123rd in feris all right uh watch yourself units I've got a unit that's making contact with him currently it's a trooper struck one of our vehicles all units keep going bring the speed of heat next intersection it's in the intersection our unit that was struck was not in Pursuit he failed to negotiate the intersection and T-boned our car now let's see that one more time from the officer's perspective no un Jason from our perspective we don't see any in the area around him he should be right here from the 123rd now intersection Ferris is right here there he is 31 thankfully our officer and his K9 unit Hunter were okay they arrested the unnamed suspect and likely charged him with several crimes we don't know what those crimes were but they're probably along the lines of resisting arrest fleeing and assaulting an officer there's two more there's two more people in the vehicle yes sir where's she at one in the front seat one the passenger I it I don't see the other pasture call out to me April 1st of 2024 Crittenden County Arkansas an Arkansas State Trooper was patrolling I40 when he observed a white Ford Fusion driving dangerously close to a semi he pulled behind the Ford to initiate a traffic stop but the driver kept going behind the wheel was 28-year-old old Courtney Ridgeway of smyna Tennessee sadly running from State Police that night was her last mistake she exceeded 100 mph as she dodged our officer's pit maneuver and sped down an unpaved Road dispatch advised our officer that the road was abruptly transitioning from asphalt to gravel he slowed down for safety and kept tabs on Courtney thanks to her tail lights then the lights vanished a cloud of dust formed and our officer arrived at the scene of a terrible accident I just lost yeah uh out right out out roll over give me a [Music] 106 give me your show me your hands get on the ground show me your hands you okay crawl out rolling your stomach you baby all right get down crawl out to me crawl out to me get your hand over here there's two more there's two more people in the vehicle yes sir where's she at the people you see in the car are Courtney's passengers they were detained without incident and we don't believe they were involved in whatever crimes Courtney was hiding from sadly Courtney was ejected on impact police found her on her back about 40 ft away from the crash she was unresponsive with a faint pulse EMS was unable to save her and she passed away at the scene that [Music] night it was January 1st of 2021 ASP Trooper Dakota Davis was on his first shift of the new year when A call came in about a pickup truck actively fleeing the Arkansas State Police he activated his lights and hopped on route 167 West toward Little Rock after a few minutes of intense high-speed driving Trooper Davis caught up to his fellow officers and took over the pursuit [Music] [Music] [Music] are [Music] the truck driver continued down I 440 hitting speeds upwards of 115 mph Trooper Davis tried to position himself to pit maneuver the car but other drivers prevented him from doing so safely luckily this Chase was about to end itself it turns out stop signs will do some damage when you try to drive through them [Music] ready [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] unfortunately we never learned the driver's name or why he was running from the police in the first first place we also don't know why his hazard lights were on the whole time though he probably doesn't know either if his New Year's resolution was to get arrested by the ASP congratulations sir you did it if you enjoyed this video and want to see another just like it be sure to click the link on screen now with that thanks for watching and be sure to tune in next time
