What's happening today? So, we were at this restaurant um 50th birthday party argument between us, but I was like, "Okay, well, everybody's trying to decide. Do they want to leave and go to our house or do they want to go to bleach or something?" I wanted to go to our house cuz it's late. Like, I'm the only person has a real job. Everybody, I'm like, I want to go to our house. And then, so he started driving. I'm like, "Well, you're drunk. Pull over. Let me drive. It's my car. in my name. You don't have a license. Like, I want to drive. We bickered about him driving from where we pulled on to the highway to here. And eventually, I started just grabbing the [ __ ] car because this is my car. You don't have a license. I'm the only one with a license. Like, you got to pull over. So, we started arguing. We switching back and [ __ ] forth. It's my car. He does not have a license. We're not going to drive from Beaver Creek to Trotwood. On January 25th, 2025, a heated argument erupted beside a busy highway after a lively 50th birthday party turned sour. A couple, both clearly intoxicated, clashed over who should drive home, leading to scratches, broken nails, and conflicting stories. Watch the video to see what actually happened. >> Hi, I'm Officer Whiting. What's going on? I'm trying to get my boyfriend. Okay, >> we left a party. He's drunk. I'm going try and get him out of my driver's seat. Since we left, he will not stop. I've been throwing everything at him. He will not get out of the back seat. He's drunk. He does not have license. I was like, "You do not drive." Like, I'm going home. I'm always going to drive. I have been drinking, but I was like, "We get a room." Everybody got a room after it was his 50th, his friend's 50th birthday party. I'm like, "Can you please pull over and get the room? He's drunk. He's acting crazy." I'm trying to get this out. I'm checking her out. Let's see. I don't know my [ __ ] nails. Okay. >> Hey, sir. What's going on? >> I haven't touched this lady. This lady is intoxicated and she just I don't know, but I haven't touched her or nothing. I was defending myself. I don't know what's going on. She talking about something that's old, man. This my girl my girlfriend. We live together and she just she just feeling some type of way. But I haven't touched her or nothing. I don't know what's going on. She We disposal. My My dude just had a 50 My dude just had a 50 uh >> I slip away from the road. >> My dude just had a 50 year old surprise party. We was there for 3 hours. No problem. Then we moved out. >> Just taking your hands out of the pocket for me. Do you have any weapons on you? Okay. I'm just going to pow you down real quick. Okay. So you don't have any guns or knives or anything? >> Okay. Keep your hands up for me. Okay. >> Oh, I know. So, as soon as I patch it down, let's put him back in. Okay. >> So, you were at your friend's birthday party. >> Yeah. We just left from the board right here. >> No. No. We just left about 10 minutes ago. 10 minutes. Whatever. We just >> I'm going to have you face the car right here and just put your arms on it for me. Okay. Separate your feet. Separate your feet for me. Okay, you're good. See? Okay. Where are you at again? >> I'm freezing. freezing hot. Can I get in the car or something? >> Yeah, you can. You want to sit in the back of my car? Okay, I'll be >> I'll turn the heat on for you. Have a seat in there. Okay. Here, I'll put the light on so I can see you. Maybe if I can find it. >> What was supposed to be a chill 50th birthday turned into a full-blown teen drama. She ranted that he was a drunk driver with a suspended license while he begged Mercy, blaming her legendary temper for the chaos. It was the ultimate classic he said, she said showdown. I'm okay. I got lots of layers on. Okay. So, you're at your friend's birthday party, you're saying, right? >> Yeah. We just left. >> Okay. >> And um >> I used to uh like couple years ago, uh I before I met her, I used to mess with not no discrimination. I just mess with white girls. And she just We've been good. You can ask everybody at the party. Like, I can call you everybody. Every thing been good. When we pulled out, they wanted to go to bleachers. She like, "Uh, don't want to go where no white girls at because you that's what you like." I'm like, "Man, that's old." You know what I'm saying? You talking about something old. Next thing you know, I get stolled on. Stol on. It Now we we don't pull to the light to pull so we can turn left to come down here. I'm getting stolen on. I'm just defending myself. I don't >> You're saying that she's hitting you? >> I'm not. I'm not. I'm not going. >> Can I just do your face here? >> Yeah, you can see. >> You need a medic? >> No, I don't. >> You got scratched there. Okay. It's lumped up. I'm lonely. Like, but I don't I don't press charges or nothing. I just want to get to my house. >> Okay. So, this is your girlfriend? >> Yeah. We together in there. I just want to get to my house before she get there. Starting to get my stuff. >> Okay. So, I get straight. So, you leave this party. >> You guys kind of get into some argument. >> I don't get it. That's her. >> Okay. I'm just saying there's some disagreement though, some disagreement and then she just starts hitting you. >> She just started like just just for real for hitting me. And >> do you remember like in what manner? Like was it like punching you like close fist or was she like like scratching you or like do you remember? >> She did it. It It was just so much me blocking like because I'm I'm I'm driving >> so I'm getting stolen but I'm I'm I'm blocking like but I'm like I don't care. Let's just get home because >> you talking about something that's oh babe I love you. I'm not I haven't did nothing since we got back together. Then it's just she she said a lot of things and I'm like well if you felt that way why did you come to this why did you come to this 50th birthday party cuz it's my best friend. >> You know what I'm saying? So I'm like why did you come to this 50th birthday party if you felt this way? Only thing you had to do is just tell me. We could have we could easily go our separate ways. Okay. >> You know what I'm saying? So, she get to see all this. But what the thing about it is I got a lot of clothes that we got a house together. I got a lot of clothes there. And if she get home before me, she's she's a hateful because she's hateful. She's hateful. She's hateful. When she get mad, she's hateful and she will destroy my clothes. I know. I I know I didn't I know I would never touch a girl. >> You're blocking her tonight. >> That's That's >> What's your social security number? Sitting in the back of the cruiser, he poured his heart out, swearing he'd never touch a woman. His excuse, old jealousy, because she freaked out thinking he'd chase white girls from years ago. Come on. Dragging ancient history into a fresh fight. That's some insecure energy right there. Turning a fun night into a full meltdown over stuff that's supposedly buried. >> Oh, sorry. My pen's dying. >> Try the other one. Like I can I can call my I can call my everybody in the party. >> That's a good phone number for you. >> Like I would never hit >> and what's her name? >> I would never hit a girl in my life. But I did do a lot of blocking. But if something had happens because she's hitting me and I'm trying to you got you. >> Okay. But I I would never disrespect. >> So where were you at for the party again? >> Well, it's it's this beer right here. your >> name. >> Huh? >> ID. >> She said that. Yeah, she said she said your name, who you are, identifying you. >> Oh, I thought you just suspended car. No, I just want to get I just want to get >> So, you you were driving from where did you say? >> I was Well, I was driving from there, but once we we we got light, we she started to swing on me. So when we pulled out, I guess people somebody seen us. You know what I'm saying? But it wasn't they they whoever told you would tell you I was getting swung on. >> Okay. >> Definitely wasn't me cuz I don't if I hit I can knock her out. You feel me? Like I >> Yeah. No one said anyone was swinging on anyone. They just said that the car was stopped and a female got out of the car. >> So you do have she my dispatch were saying you do have a suspended driver's license. Do you know that? >> Well, I just paid for my license to get >> Yeah. I >> cuz it's still suspended right now. So, you can't be driving. >> But I wasn't the I wasn't driving far as we wasn't I wasn't driving right there. >> You just told me you were driving. >> I mean, I pulled Listen. Yeah. Okay. I was driving, but y'all didn't see it. And the drive was We've been sitting here for 10 minutes and I didn't The keys is out there in the >> Well, the car had to get here somehow, right? >> Yeah. But I was just sitting. You know what I'm saying? Like, she literally wanted me to get out and just just walk. I'm like, I don't have nowhere. Not not from right here. You feel me? >> Where do you guys live at? >> In Trotwood. >> In Trotwood. >> Yeah. Okay. >> So, it was just like, just get me home. We can go our separate ways, man, cuz I'm I'm tired of it. You know what I'm saying? And that's all I was saying. And she was like, "Well, if you want to [ __ ] with whoever, you [ __ ] with whoever. This and that." I'm like, "I'm I've been with you for the last year like strong like I I don't even know where this came from. Everything been good today. Like she been cook shrimping. >> Okay. >> I don't know what's going on. I I just think she just don't want to be with me no more. And this >> How long have you been together? >> 4 years. >> 4 years. >> Yeah. And like the last time we got into it like this for the argument. It been like a year ago. And that's when I told her like you never have to worry about me cuz I I'm I mean I was I had been single for 25 years. You feel me? >> Okay. And I'm like, well, I had been going, you know, I messed up a few times and but the last time we got back together, like last year, I just said, look, I'm done. >> He kept stressing how he just blocked her swings while driving. Too strong actually to hit back, scared he'd knock her out. Fair point. He could have ended it quickly if he wanted, but chose defense instead. Still, that scratch on his face didn't appear from thin air. >> I love you. I don't want nobody else. And it is, you know what I'm saying? and I'm all in with you. And that was it. I ain't been cheating. I ain't been cheating. I ain't call nobody, no nothing. She bring >> So tonight the argument was over something that happened in the past two years ago. >> Years ago, and it's because I used to mess with white girls and like I used to tell her I was single. I mess with I mess with white girls, Arabians, acting, you feel me? Hawai, you know what I'm saying? >> Okay. >> He was slaughter. I was just single. I can mess with who I want to mess with. >> Okay, >> but that's it. >> I'm going to sit back and talk to other officer. Do you want me to keep this open or close it for the heat? >> Okay. Three yards. [ __ ] crazy. >> Yeah, we just left. >> No, we left 20 minutes ago. >> We just left about 10 minutes ago. >> You have any weapons or anything on you? Okay, we're talking today. So, we were at the best friend's um 50th birthday party argument between us, but I was like, "Okay, well, everybody's trying to decide. Do they want to leave and go to our house or do they want to go to bleach or something? I want to go to our house cuz it's late." Like, I'm the only person who has a real job. Everybody, I'm like, "I want to go to our house." And then so he started driving. I'm like, "Well, you're drunk. Pull over. Let me drive. It's my car. It's my name. We don't have a license. Like, I want to drive. We bickered about him driving from where we pulled onto the highway to here. And eventually, I started just grabbing the [ __ ] because it's my car. You don't have a license. I'm the only one with a license. Like, you got to pull over. So, we started arguing. We went back and [ __ ] forth. It's my car. He does not have a license. Like, we're not going to drive from Beaver Creek to Trotwood. And that was what the argument was over. So, eventually I'm like, "Give me my keys. Give me my keys. my keys. I broke my nails and then the keys that he did give me didn't have my my car keys on it. So, I'm like, "Well, I'm just going to stand out here till [ __ ] police pull up and then the police pull up." Okay, >> that was it. >> So, did he hit you first? >> No, he didn't hit me at all. Like, it was me punching the the like the the window. I'm like, "Let me out of the car." Like, >> there was no physical contact between you two? >> No, at all. I was just saying, "You cannot drive my car. You don't have a license." Like, >> yeah, that's understand. >> My kids are my car without license. And I'm like, we're leaving a birthday party. Like, pull over. Like, that's all I kept saying from here to here. Pull over. You cannot drive my car drunk. He's drunk. Like, you cannot pull. You cannot drive my car drunk. That was it. >> Switch to her side and she's all fire, insisting he never actually hit her. Just her smashing the window, demanding keys and phone. You could tell she loves controlling the situation, especially since it's her car, her rules. >> And then I end up breaking my [ __ ] from hitting the window or like the from pushing like him. I was trying to get the keys and he smashed the keys. Like I don't even understand how to use my key using my my company keys and I have a my key is like uh my BMW got stolen. So I only bought a car with like a a push start. So I don't even understand how these are my keys. So I was p I was punching window. I'm like, "Give me my [ __ ] keys cuz these aren't my keys. You can't leave leave me." I was He tried to leave me back there. A couple pulled up and a truck van. They were like, "Do you want to ride?" I'm like, "Don't help. I'm waiting for the police because this is my car." Like, you can't leave me in my car. >> Yeah. Do you have your license? What was that? That they'll come and get me, but he would not give my phone. What's a good phone number for you? >> 937. Arguing. There was no physical contact at all. No. Okay. So, what's the blood on your forehead? That was me punching my window asking for my car keys. And I have acrylic nails. Y. So those two came off. Like that was the thing. Like he said he wanted to drive my car and I was like, "Let me go. My kids will come to get my keys." Like to this I don't know where my keys are. You didn't want him to drive away your car, right? >> Yeah, that's understandable. Okay. This is crazy. Are you guys in a relationship? Sorry. Like I've never argued with somebody like this. I was like, >> "Were you guys just dating or married?" >> No, we're just dating the last 2 years. But >> does he live with you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Like, but I've been married to my ex-husband for 9 years. Like, >> are you guys divorced? >> Yeah, I'm divorced. >> Okay. 9 years before. So, I was married 27 years. >> I'm like, I'm old. call. I'm like, I don't believe I'm sitting out here arguing with a guy. Like, I'm like, give me my Where's my phone? If I If he' gave my phone, I'd have called my sons out here. They' have came without my car. There' been nothing he could do. This is stupid. I'm too old to be dealing with this. I have acrylic, too, so I know the pain is embracing. >> My real nail, so it just slipped back. This is crazy. I am too old for this [ __ ] You >> said you guys have been dating for 2 years now. >> Like three. >> Okay. >> This was his best friend's 30th birthday party. A 50th birthday party. I plan his 50th birthday party. We're going to um >> She tried to play the responsible adult card hard. Kept repeating how she just wanted to go home sober and safe. But if she was so pressed about him driving drunk, why let him behind the wheel in the first place? Nobody asked about that glaring hole in the story. >> My go back to bed. Like all the people who were there, they knew like it was the secret of surprise party for his party. This is crazy. Were you guys out to eat or were we like our own pars? We were on par. Okay. That's what I'm saying. I've never been like a relationship or in a relationship where somebody's crazy. Do you care if I just show your pocket real quick? I got like uh lip gloss and all kinds of [ __ ] You can pull it out. >> No, you're good. Lip gloss and all kinds of [ __ ] Lip gloss. Okay. I really want to know where my phone is cuz that's what I I >> You want to try to go look for it? >> I was like, "Leave me outside the side of the road. My kids will >> Let me Let me grab my flashlight and I'll help you look for Yeah, it is. It was warmer earlier. I don't know what happened. See, that's it. >> Oh, yeah. >> I know we had it. I knew we had it. >> Thank you. >> What's tonight? Do they know about any of this? >> No, I don't think so. That's not like I'm trying to call my son. Somebody come pick me up. >> Did they leave at the same time you guys did? No, we were leaving beforehand cuz everybody was either going to come to our house or go to um that place you told me earlier. I forget the name. It >> was like a It was a >> It was so cold. It was a bar. It was like a sports bar. >> Okay. >> And I was like, "Well, I'm going home so you guys can come to there." >> Okay. So, I was talking to him a little bit. Can you tell me exactly what happened like in the car? I know you said that you were trying to get him to stop driving cuz he shouldn't be driving, right? or what happened from over here wherever we're at and I was telling them like you're drunk like you're drunk like we everybody was trying to decide they want to go to whatever bar or our house and I was like we can go to our house cuz I'm I'm ready to go to sleep I have to go to work in the morning you have to go to work. So we pulled up here. He started here. He started talking about some [ __ ] that didn't have anything to do with anything. And I was like my phone and he was saying he didn't have my phone. We just pulled up and my phone was inside of the pocket. So I'm like, "Get my phone. Get my phone." We're arguing. He starts punching and screaming. I start punching and screaming. My nails broke. I got out of the car. I stood on side of the highway. Somebody came and asked me like, "Do you need a ride?" And I'm like, "Nope. Nope. I'm just going to wait for the police to pull up." 2 seconds later, you guys pulled up. Okay. Do you want a medic for your head? Got a scratch there. >> From my nails. >> It's more It's more my nails. >> Okay. >> And they got ripped off there. Okay. Do you want a medic to come check you out? You sure? Yeah, I'm good. Okay, >> so he said >> she was straight up serving drama queen vibes, sobbing over her lost acrylics as the world had ended. Apparently, it was the nail's fault. Bold move, blaming a manicure for your own hot mess of choices. You almost got to respect the audacity, [music] even if it's peak chaotic energy on full display. >> What? What do you mean by he was like punching? Like he was punching you. >> No, I don't think he was punching me. He was more trying to get me. I was saying like you cannot drive the car. Like we we're in Beverly. We live in trial. That's a 40-minute drive. He doesn't have license. I have license. I'm like over to the side of the road. So it's more of an argument until he wouldn't give me my phone. And then I was reaching for my phone. That's probably how I broke my nail. Okay. So what happened to your head? >> I don't I don't even know. Like I can't see anything on blood. >> I think it might be my nail. >> Okay. It's just blood from your nail. Do you mind if I >> hit me >> here? Actually, doesn't look like there's a scratch there. So, it's probably just from here. Sorry. >> So, do you know what happened to your nail? >> I think it was from me trying to get him to give me my phone. >> Okay. So, you guys kind of like arm struggling like that's what made us pull over. >> So, did either of you like strike each other or were you just striking the window? >> No, I punched the window when he didn't pull over. When he did pull over, I was like, "Give my [ __ ] phone." And he was like, "I don't have your [ __ ] phone." So you weren't hitting him or punching him or scratching him or anything? No. Okay. But when we pulled over like she just said, "Where's your phone?" I was like, "I don't know." We opened up his car door and the phone was right there. I knew he had my phone. And that's what I was saying. Like give me my [ __ ] phone. This is my car. This is my phone over. And that's why when I pulled over the people are like, "Do you want us to help you?" And I said, "No, I'm just waiting for the police because this is my car and this is my [ __ ] phone. I'm like, I don't have to argue with this big ass [ __ ] Like, this is my [ __ ] And that was it. I'm sorry. I got a pinchidic nerve. So, like I cannot stand up so much longer. Okay. Can I lean on the back? >> Yeah, go for it. >> You might get some white stuff on your toes. I am. Like I said, I'm working on this. I'm 50 years old. Like I have I raised five kids. >> Okay. Six of them. I raised six kids. Five of them are mine. But like having a grandchild is not soy your oldest. >> Okay. Sorry. I'm going to look at your head again. >> Okay. See, she was definitely trying to hit you. >> I was just blocking. I don't give a [ __ ] Whatever. She said, "I would never hit." She know that. She know that. >> Yeah. She has like a fingernail ripped off, but she said she's not sure how that happened. She said, "Come on." >> She's not saying that you did it. She's just saying I cuz I asked her what happened. I'm just saying if she has one that's ripped off. She said that she thinks it was cuz she was kind of struggling with you trying to get her phone or something is what she was saying. >> I don't know. I would never hit a girl cuz I'm too I'm too strong. >> Do you think that when she was hitting you that's how her nail got ripped off? No, but I know I was just I I I just didn't want to get you know what I'm saying? Like I love I don't know what happened. Like I I I'm so [ __ ] up right now. Like I'm shook. Like we just had a beautiful time. We just sing we was just singing karaoke and everything. >> Back with him. He rambled about their good times. Then boom. She allegedly flipped over bar plans and old insecurities. He looked genuinely shaken, but those marks told a different tale. And cops weren't buying the nothing happened routine. Like if if I was to call everybody that in sport, they'd be like, "Bro, what happened?" They would just be like, "Well, I'm like, "Bro, we came out and when everybody wanted to go to bleachers." That's when she just flipped, man. She just flipped like, "You want to go there with all these white girls?" I said, "Listen, babe. I I love you. I I'm not even them white girls." That That's cuz I was single. I could do what I want to do. You feel me? Like, that's the only thing I said. Like, I was single. I could do what I Are you willing to write me a statement about what happened? >> Yeah. I mean, I'm not trying to go to jail. >> I'm not saying you're going to jail. >> No. >> So, as of right now, she's not accusing you of anything. >> Yeah. >> But her punching you is an issue. So, >> I don't want to I just want to Can I Is it a way that I can get to the house and get my [ __ ] up out of there before she get there? Because if she get there, she's going to tear my [ __ ] up. I already know. >> Well, so here's the thing. So because you guys live together, this qualifies as a domestic violence situation. So in a domestic violence situation, you cannot choose whether or not to press charges. We do. So we automatically make an arrest. >> So that's how these things go down for domestic violence. >> Cuz I'm not going I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to do that at all for real. I'm just that that's not even in my in my vocabulary. I'm not getting nobody arrested, but I just want to >> Do you have someone that you could call to come pick you up >> right now? >> Well, just in general, if that's cuz I can tell you've been drinking, so I'm not And you have a suspended driver's license, so I'm not going to let you drive. Do you have like a friend who a sober friend who's not been drinking who could come pick you up? >> Yeah, I think >> a friend or family member or something. >> Okay. >> But what's y'all going to do with her? cuz I need to get to the if we're both going I need to get to there before she get there. >> Okay. >> That's that's the only thing I'm >> Okay. >> I need to get >> Well, she's not going to drive either cuz she's also been drinking. So, like I said, I'm still we're still trying to figure out what what to do here. But I said you obviously you have marks on you so I know if something physical happens. >> Yeah. But I don't I do not hit nobody. You know what I'm saying? Like I I would never You know what I'm saying? I would never. I'm just flocking. >> I got you. >> That's what I'm saying. Look, like you g me like seven on like [ __ ] man. Like I I can't even understand. Like I don't even understand what happened. Like we got a good It's just when she get little tips, she she I don't know. I don't know with her. The officer had to break the news that domestic violence isn't a choose your own adventure book where you pick the ending. Once the marks are there, the state takes the wheel. He tried to claim it wasn't in his vocabulary to get someone arrested, but the law doesn't care about his dictionary. >> You feel me? Like we was just about to have everybody, you see, >> everything was good. Okay, babe. You know what I'm saying? Like, >> okay, I got you. >> I don't understand. Like, they about to pull up like tell everybody come to the back. >> Like, everything been good to just now. >> I got you. >> Here, grab my one second here. I'm going to get a picture of your face real quick. >> I'm not trying to press charge you. >> Okay, I got you. Do you know if you have anything else besides a scratch on your face? >> Okay. >> Can I see your hands? >> Yeah. You see they I don't hit nobody, man. >> You can see them. I don't No scratches, no nothing. >> Keep flip them up right upright. Right. Just like that. >> Yeah. I would never hit nobody. No. >> You want me to close this again while I'm talking to the officer? Can I get pictures of you real quick? Can I see your mind setting your hand your phone down so I can get pictures of your hands? Okay. Both of them. Thank you. Close up. All right. Do you mind holding up a little higher? First, I want to get the blinking lights in there. Yeah, perfect. Thank you. >> Again, you were saying that he did not he did not hit you or punch you or anything like that? >> No, but apparently he's saying I did him. Yeah. Then okay, that's then he hit me. So cuz um [laughter] are we tracking are we going to track anybody for drugs or anything? Track me and then check him. Like we're not going to do this. Like this. >> I'm just trying to get I'm just trying to get the story. He's not saying he wants to press charges or anything like that. I'm just trying to get the truth here. What happened? >> I said the truth. >> Check my record. Check his record. If not, it's fine. I'm going call my sister out here. She can come find me out. We're not about to do this. Okay. Did you get her info? >> Yep. Okay. Well, like I literally stood outside of my car waiting for you guys to come help me. This is my car. You on the driver's side. >> I'm going to make a phone call really quick. >> My phone out of the driver's side. No, we're not about to do this. >> So, >> I have a good job. >> Photos of injuries sealed it. His scratch, her bloody nails. She laughed off accusations at one point, daring them to check records. Meanwhile, he's out here playing protector, shielding her like it's noble. If the tables were flipped, she'd have tossed him under the bus without a second thought. >> I just want [clears throat] to make sure we're clear. Nope. This dumb ass [ __ ] Nope. I know how much he had to drink tonight. >> No, I wasn't waiting on the wise. I I did not know that was something I needed to do. This is my car. This is my car. I literally got out of the car and was like, I'm just going to wait till the police pull up. >> Yeah. Now I'm wrong for getting on my Tatiana. Call call Mimi. Call's trying to get me arrested. I need some What's up? >> Um I'm on it right now or trying to see what we're doing. I'll give you a call back here later. I'll just text you. Okay, sounds good. Yeah, saw that. >> All right. Bye. Like, I thought I was doing right. Like, he's tripping. I'm going to get out of my car, stand here on the side of the highway. And now I'm not right. I think she's talking to our sergeant right now to see what we can do >> on his license. Did he change his address? Do you know? Like, does he get mail sent there? >> No, his sister's house. >> Okay. All right. So, he just stayed there. All right. And I mean, he can go there all he wants. If I get my car, I don't get a hotel room. Like I go anywhere else. Why isn't my phone not working? I have a question for you real quick. Where exactly were you guys when she was striking you? >> You said she was hitting you, right? I was just like whatever. >> Was she not hitting you? >> No, she wasn't. >> She wasn't hitting you. >> Was she? >> I'm not going. No, I don't want nothing about us going to jail. No. >> So, she wasn't hitting you. >> Was she just trying to get her phone? Is that Is that the only thing that happened? >> That's what she was just trying to get her phone. Yeah. >> Yeah. That's the only thing that was happening. She was trying to get her phone. >> So, she didn't hit you or anything? >> So, how'd you get the scratch? >> I'm not I'm not taking No, I don't know. So, she did hit you or she didn't? >> She didn't. >> She didn't hit you. >> The boyfriend was genuinely confused about how a birthday party ended with him being separated from his girlfriend by a squad car. He kept trying to show his hands to prove he didn't hit anyone. He [music] was desperate to be the victim. But the law has a funny way of looking at everyone involved. >> Okay. But were you guys right here when she was asking for a phone or were you on the highway? No, I don't even ask for the phone. >> You don't remember where you're at? >> I don't remember her asking for the phone. >> Okay. All right. >> You've lived there for all four years. Stay there every single night. >> Since the first night we moved in together. >> Okay. Yeah. I don't know what she trying to say. So you said he just stays with you, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I am old as [ __ ] Like you're saying every night staying there >> when he wants. Like does he live there or does he just stay there? >> He lives there. >> So he's there all the time when he wants. He wants to say he has a new girlfriend and he leaves for a month and he leaves for a month. The lease is in my name. Everything is in my name. It doesn't get mail there, but he's there when he wants to be. It's been 2 years. But what does that have to do? All I want to know is this is my car. Okay, >> this is my car. These are I just want to go home. Like I'm sitting on the side of the highway. Well, so the issue is the side. >> Said he's saying that you would punch and hit him. Okay. He's got a scr blade scratch on his head. If you got ripped fingernails, something happened like something physical happened, right? >> So, were you punching and hitting him? Now, I was punching and no, I was asking to pull my car over to the side, but I'm not going to stop want you guys to leave because apparently you spent a little bit of time with him. You like them, and that's cool. We're not going to do this. So, just trying to figure out what happened. But this is the domestic violence. >> This is my car. This is my car. Okay? This is my vehicle. I've stood here and sat here and people have asked, "Do you need help?" And I'm like, "No, there's no way I'll call police because this is my [ __ ] car >> and I want to go home." >> That being your car changes what happened between you guys. >> It does happen with It does change what happened between us because all I'm asking him is give him my car, give my keys, give my phone. He has my car. He has my keys. He has my phone. Soon as she pulled up and I was like, "Can you help me get my phone?" We pulled up to the left side where he was sitting and grabbed my phone. But because you spent a little bit of time on him, now he's a he's an abused person. Do what you're going to do. If you're going to take me to jail, do that because I'm gonna press charges on him the next day. I have money. He doesn't have money. >> Her story got stone cold. She planted herself outside waiting for help. Because her car, her rules, end of story. Basically, a messy map of who owns what and who gets to call the shots. Cops confirmed the setup and suddenly it was a domestic abuse case. Okay. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. That's my house. It's my car. This is my money. >> He had my phone. You were with me. And what's your name? >> Miller. Yep. >> I All I asked you was like, "Can you get my phone?" My kids would come and get me. I don't have to argue with this [ __ ] Like, I don't have to argue with him to get my keys. My kids will come and get me. All I need is my phone to be able to call my kids. Soon as we pulled up on the P on the driver's side, there goes my phone. That's all I needed. >> Okay. Well, you are going to be under arrest for domestic violence. Okay. We're going to take this away from you. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. Sorry. This way. Is there anything that numbers? I don't know any. But I don't know any numbers hurt. We'll take it with ourselves. This will be a drug. >> Here, what's your password? I'll write down what these are all zeros. You write down the staff. >> Okay. and Tiana. But she might that's not always back over here. I'm going to tight down. >> I don't want her to come all the way out. Which one is that? Tatiana. This one. Yeah. Is it Tikki? Tatiana. I have five kids. Like they're all the same. Let me make sure it's 14 minutes later. >> It's It's all right. They're taking me to jail. Go home and lock my house up. Do not let him come there. >> Okay. >> All right. Can you get that? Except that No, the other one. Hey, >> they're taking me to jail. Can you go to my house? Tavon is in the middle is in the middle of a um psychiatric break. >> I'm going to take these off. Okay. >> Called Jazz. She knows he's in the middle of a manic episode. But they're taking me to jail. >> I'm going to undo this so I can get your purse. Okay. Uh, domestic violence. He's a [ __ ] Sorry. Sorry. Reality hit when cuffs came out for her. She flipped from defiant to panicked, realizing weekend booking meant days inside. Suddenly worried about losing her job, appointments, everything. Mom. >> Can you go check on your brother? >> Yeah. >> I hit his I had his car keys in my road. Don't let him get that car cuz he's in the middle of tripping. >> I'm not. >> All right. Don't let him get the car keys. >> All right. Love you all. >> This is crazy. I got appointments and all kinds of dumb ass [ __ ] My son is going to be [ __ ] up. Don't leave him at my house. I hid I hid his car keys in my robe, but I don't want him to drive. >> Where's your robe at? >> Yeah, the one Carlos got me for Christmas. Don't give him them car keys. >> And I got I got T's car I got TikT's car fixed tomorrow. >> She kept coordinating rescues over the phone, warning about suicide risks from past family trauma. Officers listened patiently while processing her. Raw vulnerability poured out. Raising grown kids, dealing with mental health crisis solo now. >> Can you let him but take him home? You hear me sing, my Don't leave him in my house by himself. I don't know what he's going to do. Nobody's there to watch him. >> All right, I got to go. Call your dad. Call your dad. >> All right. Thanks. >> Okay. Where am I at? >> What? >> Where am I at? >> Beaver Creek. >> What? >> Indian Ripple. India over 675. >> India Ripple over 675. >> Right by the green. >> Right by the green. >> Yeah. What's going on? >> So you're free to get out. >> What's going on? >> So she's going to be arrested for domestic violence >> cuz what you told the other officer earlier. You said that she hit you. I guess >> the other female officer. I thought I was just going to talk to you. >> No, I haven't talked to you. I talked to you one time. That's when I asked uh where you guys were at when all this happened. >> Man, I want her to go get her arrested. >> So, it'll be a nonprosecution domestic violence. >> All right. What that mean? >> Meaning you're not pressing charges if you don't want to. >> No. But due to it being a domestic violence, we have to make an arrest if we feel like we have enough to arrest her on it for. You get what I'm saying, >> right? >> So, you're free. I mean, you can step out. You don't have to stay in the back of the freezer. >> So, be cold outside. >> Yeah, it is a little cold for sure. But you have someone on their way. >> Yeah. I don't want to arrest her. >> I know. She knows that we're not pressing charges, but based on the evidence we got a dumb ass, man. I swear to God. >> Do you have a ride on the way? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You know how long it'll take for them to get here? >> No, I don't. >> No. >> No. Lock up his car. >> Do you have the keys? >> No. Do you know where they're at? She got on. Um, so it's the weekend, so she probably won't see someone until Monday, possibly. >> Yeah. Um, make sure you check inside her purse before you take that to the jail. >> I don't even know. >> Do you want to wait in the back of my car until your friend or family member gets here? >> Uh, can I get taken over there to the gas station? >> Uh, yeah, I can do that. >> And then I will get I get the car towed. >> Yeah, I'm going to tow the car cuz it's partly on the road. We can't leave it here. >> Can I push it off the road? If I can push it and get I come and get it tomorrow. >> No, cuz we here. What about your You said you you got a friend coming, right? >> So, what if are they able to give you one second? >> I just want I just out the way. >> Okay, one second. He walked out scratching his head, wondering why she got cuffed when he didn't press charges. Cops broke it down. It wasn't him calling it in. It was the receipts, his scratch, her blood, and all the chaos caught on camera. Ma'am, you said that car is registered to you, correct? >> So, we're going to have to tow it cuz it's on the road. Would you rather him have a sober friend? Whoever's picking him up, do you want them to drive your car? >> My daughter's on her way. She can grab it. >> She's on her way here. Okay, that's okay. That's fine with me. I'll wait here so we don't have to tow it. Does she know exactly where to come? Um, my daughter I I told them I was off the exit and take those home. >> Is um is her daughter coming here or did she say not to come here? >> She called her and told her not. It looks I think you had told your daughter not to come anymore. >> But if she is in my car, she will. Like they're not going to let my stuff sit in jail or him take it. I mean sit and tow or them take it. But I have like three people on their way here. Okay. So [clears throat] I'm like can you actually give her a phone again? See if one of them can pick up their car so I don't have to tell it. >> Here. Why don't you give someone a call? See if they can come here to come pick up your car. Okay. >> Thank you. >> Can you let him know I'm going to lose my job? He's not cuz he he doesn't want you to get charged. >> But you guys are just doing it because >> because it's the law. >> Thank God that you guys >> because it's the law, ma'am. >> Hey, I'm going to I'm I'm going to jail. I'm going to lose my job. Can someone please come get my car? >> I'm on my way out of here now. Why are they taking you to jail? >> Because they are. But that's just what's happened. They're taking me to jail. >> Yeah. Did we say we had one in custody? >> Huh? Did we say we had one in custody? >> All this stuff. I'm on my way out there now. >> Her car was about to get towed, but the family card swooped in just in time. She's in cuffs, begging for a sober driver to save her BMW like it's a lifeline. Meanwhile, he took off to the gas station, waiting for his own ride. Uh, >> okay. >> As soon as we're on the Indian Ripple exit, >> they're on the Indian Ripple exit because I asked them to pull my car over. So, they said that was violence and well, because my nails broke, I was trying to stop them from [ __ ] punching on me. But apparently, because I didn't say he was punching on me, it's on me. >> Okay, ma'am. We got to go. As long as someone's coming to get your car, okay, >> they just want to know that you're coming to get my car. Tatiana's probably on her way, too. Where are the keys at? >> We have them right here. These are the keys for you. >> Yeah. Are But you're going to leave. Where is he at? >> I don't know. But I won't be out. I'm going to lose my charge tomorrow. >> Well, you don't you'll be out today. >> So, do you mind sitting here with him? I'm going to drop him off at the gas station to wait for his ride. Then I'll come back here to wait for the car. So you can take off. Does that make sense? >> Okay. Don't be here. They're >> One of the [ __ ] was like up his ass. So she's whatever. 8253. 825. >> I already have her number for you. >> You do? >> Yeah. I have Steph and Tatiana. Okay. >> All right.
