[music] On April 18th, 2024, everyone was enjoying themselves at the bar. It was a normal night. But then one disturbance [music] changed the entire mood. The bar owner called 911 when his manager went from being a normal employee to a chaos machine fueled by alcohol. Instead of finishing the shift and going home, the manager decided to dive into a bottle of spirits. [music] This led to a loud, emotional meltdown that forced the police to step in [music] and handle what quickly became a very messy and awkward staff meeting. >> How you doing, sir? >> Good. We got a call about an argument or someone yelling. >> Okay. Uh the thing is uh the other Monday you're in the morning. >> Okay. >> She finished at 6:00 but she start drinking. >> So she's a little she had an argument with you on [music] >> Is everything all right? >> Yeah. Everything. >> Is she still here? >> Yes. She she's still Do you want to talk to her? >> Yeah. If I can talk to her. You want to bring her outside, aren't they? [music] >> As the female manager comes outside, the officer will hear her side of the story, but it quickly turns emotional and begins to collapse on itself the more she talks. [music] >> So, what can I say? Uh, the owner works here. >> Okay. with the owner. So, he's taking uh some personal issues with it. But, uh if you want to shut it down, you can shut shut it down. >> What am I shutting down? >> No, I don't know. But >> did you call? >> No, I didn't call. We call. >> Okay. Was it just an argument? >> It was just an argument. Okay. >> So, you're not injured or anything? No, >> nobody's injured. >> I see your arms. >> [music] >> Okay. But you're all good. >> He just taking things personal. >> Okay. >> I don't want to think I don't want to take things personal. >> But if he want he if he wants to take things personal, I don't mind take things personal, but that's going to be up to him. If he wants to take things personal, I got no problem. >> How did you get here? >> I work here. Do you did you drive here yourself? >> I'm the manager. Yes, I work here. >> Are you going to be able to have someone take you home? >> Uh, I've been I've been here since. >> She stumbled through a story about personal issues and even tried to invite the cops [music] to shut the bar down. She kept rambling about the owner taking things personally. Yet, it was her who was buzzing with drunken energy. It was clear she had been drinking on the job long after her 6:00 a.m. shift ended, turning a normal morning into a chaotic scene for everyone involved. It's the first shift. >> I work also here, but I also have one of the clients that I work with that he's a good friend of mine who's taking a good care of me. >> So, I have him taking care of me. So, I'm not driving. I'm not driving. >> Okay. Cuz >> why why would I lie to you saying that I can't drive? I can't drive. No. To be honest, I can't drive. I can't drive. No, I can't drive. >> I can see that. >> I can't drive. Even Even the the owner the owner can drive. The owner can drive. >> He's he's being Oh, he's being oldie. He's being a piece of >> Who are you? >> Who are you? >> He He's He's a friend of the owner. He's a friend of the owner. >> But the owner can drive. Okay. >> To be honest, >> I can drive. >> No one's No one's having a fight or anything. >> You want to speak to the owner? I if you tell me it's okay and >> I'm okay with it. >> The only thing is like uh if the owner will take advantage of me, I will let you know. >> Okay. Um >> but the owner is not >> if I get out of here, is there going to be a fight or anything? >> There's not going to be any fight. >> There's no fight. >> I don't know why they call you. >> I don't know why they call you, but there is no fight. >> Okay. So, who did call me? >> Do you know who called me? >> I I don't know. I don't know. He He's the manager. I'm the other manager. >> Yeah, but she clocked off. [music] No, I'm a clock. >> I'm clocked up at six. >> So, I haven't been working since six. Six, but he's the the one of one of the mayor managers that been here since 6. >> I haven't been working >> since six, >> but no, I don't know. Then she makes a statement that flips the interaction upside down. >> It It sounds like no one fought. It's just an argument. >> Yeah, just an argument. There was no fight at all. >> As the investigation progressed, the situation became more complicated. Her slurred voice and stumbling words didn't provide any clear explanation. It was surprising that a manager in such a bad state could even be around others without causing disruption. Yet, one impressive thing was her boldness. She was so determined to argue and curious about why the call was made. >> Are you going to get out of here if I just hope it doesn't escalate to anything more? >> Let me get your personal [music] >> IQ. You want a card? >> Yeah, >> I can do that for you. >> Just in case. >> Okay. >> Just in case of what? >> No. Just in case. >> Just in case. What? For my safety. >> If you don't feel safe over here, I don't want you here. >> No. For my personal safety. I don't I don't want anything to to happen. >> But the thing is she doesn't feel safe over here. What's the use for her to say? >> No, no, no, no. >> Listen, let's let's speak English because I want him to Arando. No, >> no. What's the use that you saying that you want her car because you was calling 911? Say that again. You I saw you 911 profoundly. argument with >> one other person. >> She's the other manager. She works here in the morning. >> She left at 6:00, but she stayed over here drinking. She had an argument with him with the owner. >> Uhhuh. >> And I don't know. She's saying that the owner called by 11 and I saw her calling. I >> I don't care who called. I just want to know. >> I don't care who I just want to make everyone's okay. I'm not really call >> but in the meantime, I want to have her car >> just in case. >> Okay. The thing is safe. If she doesn't feel safe, what's going to stay here? >> Yeah. Why? Yeah, you don't feel safe being here. >> I don't know. We closed too. I don't know. >> So, why you staying here? >> You're off, right? >> So, go home. >> But have someone take you home. >> I'm working on something over here. >> No, no, no. He doesn't want you to work on on anything today. >> Yeah, you work tomorrow. Yeah. >> Because I don't want no argument over here. A concerning detail was that both [music] managers began arguing even with officers present. The real problem wasn't the argument itself. [music] It was her intoxicated state. She couldn't listen or understand anything and she was rambling endlessly [music] with no clear point or structure in her speech. >> Yes, he's serious. Yes. >> Yes, he's serious. >> Because in the condition that you are right now, >> yeah, just go home. That's it. Yeah, I'm serious. I'm serious right now. I'm serious. I'm serious. Come back tomorrow. Like he said, come back tomorrow with a fresh head and that's it. And you resolve whatever you have to do. >> So for the for the or treat me like he can do what he want the only thing that he cannot hit you or he cannot. >> Exactly. Exactly. What if he does? >> Being being an [ __ ] is not a crime. What if he does then you leave? But if you feel unsafe, just leave. >> No. Well, what if he does? I have proof, >> you know. What if he trespasses? >> Should I make >> What if he does? >> Yeah, you can call us. But why would you say something like you don't feel >> No, I didn't call you guys. >> No, I No. No. I said if he does If it doesn't >> No, if I call you guys, >> I just Why don't you go home? Just go home. >> Exactly. Can I have a card? >> Yeah, you can have a card. I got it for you. You going to call I give you the card? >> Sure. >> Okay. They want you to go. They want you. >> Sure. Show me the card. >> I'll give you >> You're giving her the card, but I'll give it to you. For any reason you guys call me home, she's trespassing because right now >> we'll trespass right next I don't have a problem. I would rather do that. >> But okay, you got a little car. I'm just >> I don't It's in my car. >> I don't have one. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> As the officer grabs a card, the female manager small talk spirals into a series of actions that carry immediate consequences. >> Okay. Thanks. >> Every time alcohol is involved you, even though you might not want problems, that's probably what's going to happen later on. So, I don't want to come back. I don't want to take you to jail. I don't want to trespass you. Just go home. Okay, that's it. If the owner selling kiss, >> you don't want to lose your job. >> Yeah. You don't want to lose your job. Yeah. >> You got good food here. >> You got good food here. >> It smell good. >> Smell. >> Maybe we're just hungry. >> Yeah. No, it smell good, too. Yeah. I'm But it smell good. Damn good. This a Peruvian spot, right? >> Ecuadorian. >> Ecuador. Okay. >> It used to be a couple places. It was clear that if she didn't want to lose her job or make things [music] worse, the best thing she could do was quietly go home. But when alcohol completely takes over your mind, common sense stops working and making smart decisions becomes impossible. That's exactly what happened in her case. >> There used to be a club up in here. >> Okay. And then there was like a restaurant. Okay. >> Then she makes her way towards the entrance. [music] All >> [music] >> right. Down down down down [music] [music] to jail. You want to press >> They do not want to press >> now. You want to get tased? I'mma tase you real fast. THIS WILL HURT. GIVE ME A HAND NOW. your [music] life. Why you being like >> foolishness has its limits. On one hand, the situation was being handled calmly, but on the other, she physically attacked the owner again, [music] essentially taking the law into her own hands. All of this happened in front of the officers, yet she stubbornly insisted she didn't want to go to jail. It was utterly shocking. Okay. I don't want to see any more anyone around here. I don't I don't want to press any charges. I know she was she was drinking here. She was in control. >> Yeah. >> I don't put any charges. >> Well, she's she's getting charges for a different thing. But uh you don't want her trespass. >> One thing >> because she's resisting us. So now >> Oh, she resisting you. >> Yeah. So now she's she's in trouble for that. So All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Chill on that. Chill on that. >> Put your chest right there. No. No. No. No. Search. >> You got anything sharp or pokey on you? >> Check. I don't have anything on me. Check >> any cigarettes. >> I don't have anything on me. Check. >> You understand? You have something on you or inside you and you take it into the jail. >> By resisting officers and taking the law into her own hands, she only made things harder [music] for herself. fully deserving of the handcuffs. What was surprising, however, was that despite all this, the owner didn't want to press charges against her. He understood that she was out of control because of alcohol, which showed his patience and generosity. >> That's an additional charge. >> I don't have anything. >> The man who earlier referenced himself as her future husband tries to calm her down. >> You got to go over there. >> Listen, >> she been good though. I got you. >> Now, now she messed up. >> I know, but I know she >> going to be at the St. County Jail. >> Okay. Thanks. Hey, >> get up. >> Yeah, I've been through this. He's in prison. >> Do me a favor. Just a second. Of course. >> Just a second. >> I don't have anything. Justin that guy outside red shirting outside the guy. >> Put your seat belt up. She had put your seat belt up. But I'm not I'm not even moving. I'm not even moving. >> Those things. >> WHY YOU GETTING MAD at me? >> Those things. >> I'm not even moving. You're moving. You're moving. >> I not even moving. >> [ __ ] >> Yeah. Tell me about it. >> I know. That's crazy. >> What are you trying to do this? >> I went to get her. She walked in and decided she was going to fight. She >> Yeah. No, she's box inside. >> Oh, >> what do you need? >> No, I want we got it. >> And for the owner and what he wants to do. She >> She was touching you. I can see that your collar is a little messed up. She was grabbing you. Okay. Do you want to fill out a statement? >> I just want to know where. >> Okay. Do you want to press charges? >> Not for a single moment did it feel like things were calming down. Her argument kept escalating. Even in handcuffs, she didn't care about anything. This situation clearly shows how dangerous alcohol in public places can be, causing a person to completely lose control. >> Okay. >> All right. I just >> Well, I don't whatever charges, but for me, then I don't I mean, I don't press charges. And like I say, only thing what I ask you guys, you know, if you you guys can do it. I mean, she's good girl. She is a little drunk. >> But anyway, but see if there's any way you can just let it go by just or you can keep it right up like that. >> Hey, can we tried that? >> Come in the office and fight you. >> Did she say that? >> Yeah, I know. But I wouldn't say what I need what I need is for you to just write down what she like if she walked in the door and grabbed you by the I need you to write that down at the bottom. >> I'm just saying I don't want >> just I don't want to press charges. just to document exactly what she did. Yeah. >> Okay. Does that make sense? So, I just need >> I'll send you a photo of it. >> Three sentence. She walked in >> what she did. I don't want to press charges for this. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Um up top's going to be your information. Do you have your license with you? >> Yeah. >> Hey, sorry. >> I'll try. She don't she she's not even talking because she's she's she like but sorry I didn't tell you I know >> I want to help out. >> Well, you can blow her around as soon as as soon as they book her in. But they're not going to book her in until they find out. >> What's her name? You know her name. >> Is that all you know? >> Yes. >> Oh, that's for you. We got >> Where she's going? >> That's That's the manager. >> Where the ticket? >> Seminal county. Se >> is bad. I hate >> It's better than Orange County. >> Sir, what do you got? No, you don't get no TV, no radio, nothing. >> Sir, do you know her name? Like, do you have her information? Uh, so I just know her by >> he's her future husband. So, >> Oh, future. >> Yeah. You know her name and stuff? [laughter] >> This is the boss. >> This is the boss. >> Yeah. >> I don't want to just put it I don't want to press any charges. The legal process [music] continued efficiently. Officers were busy with small details and paperwork. But the most alarming thing was that her voice never [music] quieted. The environment shook with her disruptive behavior. And surely even the birds around were disturbed [music] by her intoxicated state as if everything was happening according to her will. >> Yeah, that's all you got to say what happened and then say I don't want to press charges. >> Okay. So >> why something? I mean I don't want to, you know. I have to explain something like if I don't want it, I have my rights. All right. Otherwise, just >> Yeah. Just put I don't want That's fine. >> Thank you, sir. >> Did you get his ID in for And the reason we do this, if we were to come here one night and we found you laying out, who would we call? >> Wife. My my wife. >> Just put wife Dash and her name. And I guess you live together. And then your phone number. Her phone number, I'm sorry. And then we'll get out of y'all's area. Any questions? >> No. Thank you. Okay. >> Are we going to have a report or >> There's no report. >> There there is a report. Um, >> so >> so where the char the charge for her? This is arrest or what? >> Is this holding a tax? >> Yeah. >> Does anybody want a card? All right. That's the event number on there. >> Okay. >> Huh? >> Why you want to know my name? You know my name. >> Don't worry. I'll get it. Don't worry. That's fine. So, here's the here's the deal, right? Is you're going to go to jail. You're going to be booked in as a Jane Doe. And until we ID, you're going to sit in jail without a bond. So, you better start talking to Officer Stanley and explaining who you are, or you going to sit in there for a couple weeks? >> I don't know. I don't know what is in the procedure. >> What is your name? >> That That was a good decision to make, huh? That was a good decision to make. >> I don't know you. >> We're cops. You don't have to know. >> We tried to work with you and not do all this, but we decided to do all this. Okay. >> So, let's not make a bad decision worse. >> Listen, I know he's going to know this. He's going to bait me, but I don't want him to break me because he me up. I don't want to deal with him. Send this to you. >> I don't want anything to do. I just want to deal with nothing. >> This entire incident was a textbook example of how a few drinks can turn a career into a criminal record. She went from being the person in charge to the person in the back of a squad car. The bar owner learned a hard lesson about hiring friends. and the suspect learned that the police don't care how clocked off you are when you're breaking the law. The woman faced charges for resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication. Her refusal to comply with officer instructions turned a minor argument into a legal matter, highlighting the dangers of letting personal pride and alcohol dictate actions. This case serves as a stark reminder. Refusing to press charges doesn't fix problems, it amplifies them. If you think the owner should have pressed full charges, let us know in the comments below.
