Ma'am, you're going to get arrested. Ma'am, get over here. Stop. Let me go. >> You just slam me on the ground. You ran away. >> Look at my leg. You just Look, my leg is broke. >> In July 2026, a routine traffic stop for minor violations turned into a chaotic arrest when officers recognized a woman with an active warrant. What was meant to be a simple pull over quickly escalated into a tense confrontation involving a hit police vehicle, a physical struggle, and a child caught in the middle where she claimed that she was just trying to park. So, why did police tackle her to the ground in front of her son? Hey everyone, welcome back. And today we're taking a closer look at this video and how this traffic stop escalated so quickly. Pulling in 101 normal. 10-11 normal. Three B boy truck plate on a silver Dodge Ram. >> I got another unit up here. This vehicle vehicle backed into my car and I'm not sure what it's doing. >> Trying to stop you and you just hit my car. Yes, you did. >> Stay in the vehicle. >> Get in the car. No. >> Stay in the car, >> ma'am. You're going to get arrested, man. Get over here. Stop, >> man. Stop. Stop. I'm not. >> Let me go. Let me go. >> Let me go. Stop. Let me go. >> Let me go, bro. Let me go. >> Expedite. Expedite. >> Let me go. Stop. >> I did not hit the car. >> You did. >> I did. Okay. I'm not I'm not resisting. I'm not. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Okay. Help me. >> You're under arrest. >> For what? >> Stop resisting. >> I've been doing anything. Y'all know I got a warrant. Y'all know I got a warrant. 820 Kimberly. 820 Kimberly. [crying] >> Come on. Get off of me. >> You're under arrest. Stop. >> Okay, just let me get off. >> Roll over. >> You just hurt my leg. >> I don't care. >> Stop. Right here. >> Well, that went from zero to handcuffs real quick. Arguing through an arrest probably isn't doing any favors here. And that warrant reveal definitely not the detail you want coming out during a traffic stop with her son right there. This is a little uncomfortable to watch. It looks so dumb. >> Come here, fool. >> Come here, poo. >> Please don't do this in front of my son. Please. >> Cuz y'all know I already been fighting my fiance in jail. >> Stop. >> Oh my god. >> You're under arrest. >> Okay. I have to go to the hospital. Okay. >> You just broke my leg. >> I did not break your leg. >> Lick my leg. >> You know me. >> Totally got ahead. >> Help me roll over. You roll over. >> Roll over. You're under arrest. >> Okay. Y'all bo >> We got one female 1085. >> Y'all finally got me. >> Y'all finally got me. >> Hey, stop moving the head. >> Y'all finally got me. Let me get Can y'all please call the ambulance? >> Look, I got robbed. I got I have rods the pins in my leg and you just slam me on the ground. >> YOU JUST SLAM ME ON THE GROUND cuz you ran away from >> Look at my leg. You just Look, my leg is broke. >> We're going to go ahead and stand up. >> Call the ambulance. No, I cannot stand up. I'm not standing up. >> Look at my leg. >> NO. NO. GET MY KID. NO. BRING MY KID OVER HERE. >> Bring my kid over here. >> Negative. >> Bring my kid over here. Please. >> Bring my kid over here. Come on. You know me. >> Why you running? I didn't run [ __ ] I was parking to go to my crib. I live right here. Y'all know where the I live. >> So, I tried to stop her. >> Okay. Now, we have a completely different issue to consider. If that injury is as serious as she claims, medical attention needs to settle that question. But the constant back and forth is making it difficult for anyone to get a calm moment here. This is, you know, one of those situations where less arguing would probably go a long way. >> Where is taking my key? I tried to stop her. She backs into me, like barely bumps in my front bumper. Pulls into here. She's jerking around trying to get out. Finally, she parks it, gets out, tries to take off of her kid. I stop her. I get the kid to the ground. I get her. >> I didn't run. >> She kept resisting. Kept resisting. Finally, I put her to the ground. >> I was trying to park because I knew my kid was back there, >> but you backed into my car. >> I didn't I'm in a big ass. >> She wants an ambulance for her leg. >> Don't be calling nobody. Yes, I HAVE TO CALL SOMEBODY. Y'ALL GOT MY KID. OKAY. >> We're going to have you sit down. >> Get off me. Get off me. Get off work. You're under me. >> I want the woman to get me. Get off of me. Get off of me. >> Get off of me. Get off of me. >> Just listen to >> No, I'm not listening to [ __ ] Get off of me. Get off of me. >> So, she stopped here, backed into my car, >> then pulls forward, >> then reverses, >> then bur reverses back. I start backing cuz I'm like, "What the is she doing?" She finally parks here and then she tries to take off. >> No, that's old. >> That's old. >> Yep. >> I know y'all want me. Get off me. >> Don't hold me. I'm already in cuffs. What do you want? >> That's right. >> Yeah, sure. >> So, hey. >> Wa. That changes the whole vibe of this situation. Getting hit by a police vehicle is definitely not something you can just casually explain away. I'm sorry, but there are way too many moving pieces here and that vehicle just becomes another piece of the puzzle. >> We're going to we're going to admin to it at least at the very least to obstruct. >> There's a pill inside. >> Okay, we're we're going to we're going to inventory and then Did you say there's canvas or something like that or >> Yeah, there's a bag that looks like canvas on the >> Okay, we're good to start. Do you agree? So, I'm >> It's locked. She probably has the key. >> We have the key. >> It's in my car. >> Okay, we're Let's Let's get start We're going to get you checked out. Get that. >> Wow. Look at my leg, bro. >> Get your phone. >> Ied up. And you got my arm like this. I got 350 rods in my in my arm and my leg. I'm not I can't go nowhere. I'm already under arrest. >> We don't need you pulling away. Okay. >> What? >> We don't need you pulling away cuz that's the >> You got my arm. Look at my arm. Don't try to see my arm. >> I'm not going to argue with the R. >> Wait. I'm not FREAKING ARGUING WITH Y'ALL EITHER. YOU ALREADY GOT ME IN CUSTODY. WHAT THE CAN I DO? >> I don't have no shoes. No [ __ ] THE >> YOU GET MY SON IPAD out of there and his book bag. >> Please. Who just took my phone in my bag? There's drugs in there. Yes, I smoke everything and I take drugs. Yes. So, can you give me my phone, please? >> You can unlock your phone and help me make all of that property, including the two phones, is in the floorboard at 28. >> I don't care about none of that. I already know I got to go grab it real quick >> out of y'all county. >> Y'all been waiting for me. >> Hey, Gracie. >> Completely ran. Completely random. I promise. >> No, it wasn't. >> He don't He don't >> cuz I was coming down the street. He didn't even have no right to pull me over. I was coming down the street. He busted UI on me. I'm trying to park. He talking about somebody head car. No. I ain't been I hit your car because I was trying to back in the park. Get that thirsty ass [ __ ] out here. I'm from Aurora. Y'all ain't on [ __ ] And you a lieutenant. Sergeant. What? >> Uh, sergeant. >> Yeah. Paul, he did some unlegal ass [ __ ] This not my first rodeo [ __ ] This ising the cap. >> It's four blocks out here. >> My leg is hurting. Where the mother that just slam me on the floor for nothing? >> And I wasn't resisting. I got I got him away from you so you can >> All I say is I'm trying to get my son away from that car. >> Ah, we've got two very different stories here. That injury sounds painful, but I definitely want to know what the doctors found. Wait, did she really just bring drugs into the conversation? Every answer seems to create another question. >> She ran from the police, got tackled, upset. She's over there. We have a kiddo, too. >> 20 Kimberly. Ah, >> I just got to feel. >> Are you hurt anywhere else? >> My shoulder. >> Your shoulder? Okay. >> Can y'all put these in the front >> right now? >> I'm not no resistant. I'm not going to fight. I'm not I'm not a threat >> at all. I already know I'm hot. >> Can I just get some information for you? >> Yes. >> What's your first name? >> Ashley. So, that's all I know. Y'all he thirsty as Who the is that? >> What's your name? >> Who? No, I don't. I'm new out here. I just moved out. I only been out here for 2 months. I don't know you guys. I'm from question. I know. >> So, who is that that just slam me on the ground in that Durango over there? I would answer. >> Who? Your boss being checked out. No, >> but that was the sergeant that was just talking to us. So, how is that your boss? >> Just one of our officers. >> Baking soda or what? Kind of just powdered loose in the center count. Really stop for >> uh window tints and this stop sign. >> Okay, >> bro. Find somebody. I'm going to jail. Look, they just pulled up on me. They just dislocated my leg side in the mother car. Call everybody right now. The police car pull up on me. I'm trying to fart. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> Okay. Well, how are we going to get you? >> Okay. Okay. >> Can you grab me by my ankles, though? Cuz he just dislocated my leg. >> It's going to probably roll right back into place if we do. >> No, it's not. >> One, two, three. >> Okay. >> You guys stop. Can my son go with me? >> Right. Who who else you want your kiddo? >> My son going to go with me and then my right now and they won't be able to >> I know that. >> Okay, >> but where's my son going? >> They're going to stay with going to stay with us TILL WE make some phone calls for >> you. Get my phone. Where's my phone in my >> Hey, um before watching everything me I wasn't doing low resistant none of that. She doesn't know her phone by chance. >> Oh, where is my phone? >> Can you please give me my phone? >> Okay, >> soon as she gets family arranged, take that back. >> So, here's the other one in case for some reason we need the other phone. >> Oh, crazy. This just went from chaotic to genuinely emotional. Her son being involved makes this so much harder to watch, man. Like, you can hear how much she's worried about him. Hopefully, he's surrounded by people that he knows and trusts tonight. >> Okay. If I get a blood pressure on you, >> get it. PUT IT ON MY ARM. >> HEY, he's going to use your phone for a little bit. >> Okay. So, where's my son going? So, y'all telling me my son can't go with me and he's out here in the middle of nowhere with y'all. >> Give me my Give me my phone. Give me my phone. Give me my phone. No. No. No. No. >> Okay. Okay. We're going to give your kid a DCFS then. Okay. >> I don't I don't >> Why would you give my son a DCFS? >> Then maybe let me finish talking. >> Right. But I'm saying what I'm saying. >> I never been I' never Every time I've been arrested with my son, he was able to come to the hospital to somebody come pick him up. I ain't never had no officer to take my son without me. >> We are not moving him. >> Call him. >> Stop arguing with me, Ashley. >> I'm not arguing. You are. Stop. I'm >> talking to my son. >> I'm trying to tell you what I need from you. Okay. >> What do you need? >> Whoever is coming to get the kid, we are going to hold them here. Tell them that we are on Kimberly. >> Tell tell the school to come get >> and we will release the kid to the person of your choice. Okay, that's it. >> All right. >> All right. All right. >> Where the lieutenant sergeant? >> He is over with your son right now. >> Can y'all please bring him right here? >> No, absolutely not. >> I'm about to cry. >> Okay. Can you please call family? Otherwise, we're going to have to take that phone. >> I'm calling them. I'm going to write her a bunch of tickets and obviously she's got the warrant. >> Um I'm going to head back if you're all right with that and they can do the toe. I want to test those pills because if it's >> MDMA >> vitamin >> Yeah. If it's show that we got nothing. If it's uh MDMA, we'll be able to take the area six and uh seizure on it. >> Obviously obstructing. >> Yep. >> Danger life health of a child. She fled from the police. Hit a police car. >> Um so >> um and then let's get this thing out of here. >> Okay. So >> if you don't mind, I'm going to head back. Is that cool? >> Thank you. >> Oh, I know. >> Yes. >> I'm right here. He's up there. >> Go up there. There's officers up there that will help you out. Okay. >> They hurt her leg, bro. >> Broke my leg, bro. My leg is broke, bro. >> Why are we screaming? >> BECAUSE Y'ALL BROKE MY LEG. >> BREAK YOUR LEG. >> YES, it is. But actually, my >> You going to roll with me? >> Okay, >> we're going to get going. Okay. >> In a couple with you >> cuz you know I'm not no bad person. You know that, right? And I've been through a lot. >> Wow. We're stacking up allegations pretty quickly here. Those pills definitely caught my attention, but whether they're actually what officers suspect, now that's a whole different question. With her leg injury addressed and the scene controlled, the encounter finally draws to a close. The woman was charged with obstruction or resisting a peace officer and endangering the life or health of a child. She was also booked on an outstanding arrest warrant. Authorities also documented the vehicle incident and her alleged attempt to flee from officers. Because an arrest does not equal a conviction, the final outcome of these charges should not be assumed from the body cam footage alone. This case shows how quickly stress can turn into escalation. Sometimes a strong fight orflight response can make people more defensive and less focused on the consequences of their actions. The takeaway is simple. Staying calm and avoiding further resistance can prevent a difficult situation from becoming even worse. What do you think? Did her reaction make the situation worse or was she simply overwhelmed by the pressure? Drop your opinion in the comments and don't forget to like and subscribe.
