What's up everybody? This is Ryan, your host. Today we have a woman who somehow manages to turn one morning commute into not one, but two hit-and-runs while spending the entire stop explaining how none of it was actually her fault. >> Well, here's a picture of her. Come here. >> Did you Did you get a picture of the tag maybe? Possibly? >> Yes, I did. I have a picture of the whole video coming down 27th Street. Can I see it real quick? Yes. First, she rear-ends one driver after what she claims was a brake check. Then, while trying to escape the situation, she somehow hits a second vehicle and keeps driving. And when the officers finally catch up to her, we get a full masterclass in excuses, selective memory, and some of the most impressive blame shifting I've seen in a while. >> Did she leave? Cuz it looks like she was leaving. No, she stayed. And I guess you hit a semi-truck, too. Do you remember hitting the truck? >> Like when I pulled out, yeah, a little bit. It like hit me. Okay. I was trying to like Like I just wanted to see if my car was okay, and I wanted to get away from her because she was acting crazy, and I didn't know what she was going to do. Like I was in fear for my life if I got out around her. I was just I just wanted to check on my car. Like I didn't know what had even happened, and then obviously I knew I'd be in trouble because, you know, I'm not supposed to >> [music] >> She says she was scared. She says she was confused. She says everybody else is the problem. I already know exactly where this is going. So, without any further ado, let's get into it. Best traffic bus. Is it in the door? Just wear that one for now. We'll be right with you. We'll be right there. Oh, what? Is it in your car? I don't know, it could be. Here, you worry about that. Hello. You doing okay? My shoulder's It's fine. I'll I'll survive. Do you need EMS? No. Sure? I'm fine. It's just I feel like when the seatbelt pulled, you know, it just My airbag didn't deploy. Everything's fine. My car's Call EMS? I think I made off a lot better than what she did. Okay, so do you have a I have photos. I have video. Okay. So, I want to say it started back by like McDonald's. Right before McDonald's, okay? We're I'm doing 55 60. Every It's Thursday. It's a busy morning, okay? She's just riding my and I'm keeping a safe distance. Accidents happen, clearly, All right, classic chaos on wheels. One second, it's traffic. Next, it's "I'm fine" with half the car emotionally totaled. Everyone calm, nobody calm. She's explaining speed like it's a courtroom defense, not a crash scene. And of course, airbags didn't deploy. So, it basically didn't happen in her mind. Uh delusion level highway speed. Somebody needs to call physics. It's missing, bro. Seriously. So, as we were pulling up to the light at Gasparilla, she was still behind me. And she's like screaming at me like, "Get over." Actually, I'm sorry. She was telling me to pull over like towards Superday. She's like, "Pull over." I said, "Ma'am, you're going to cause an accident. I'm going as fast as I can. There's nowhere I can go. What do you want me to do?" So, at that point, I took my camera out and I took a picture of her because I feel like now I'm like in a situation that I Do you have a So, here's a picture of her. Do you Do you get a picture of the tag, maybe? Possibly? >> did. I have a picture of the whole video coming down 776. Do you mind if I see it real quick? Yes. So, >> the tag? I'm sorry. What's going So, this is me cuz I'm already feeling threatened. Like, I need to start recording this. So, we're coming down 776. Do you mind if I hold it real quick? Yeah. Do whatever you need. This is the car in front, right? Yeah. No, she was behind me. She's behind you? She was behind me harassing me. What about the other So, here. I'm going to take a picture of her. I tried to get my phone out as fast as I could. >> that's the car right there. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. Now, this is peak I want the victim first energy. She's getting tailgated, honked at, and somehow turns it into a full documentary production with photos, timestamps, and director level commentary. Relax, ma'am. It's not Netflix. This is traffic. And the way she's collecting evidence like she's building a courtroom case mid-intersection, it's actually wild. Someone's got to give her a badge right now for confusion management. Stay in the vehicle. Stay in the vehicle. Stay in the vehicle. 10-4, Central. Driver, put your hands where I can see them. I got it. Is there anybody else in the vehicle? No, is it just you? No, this is my son's balloon. It's my son's balloon. Why are you guys sticking >> Can you step out of the vehicle for me? Do you have any guns on you? Any weapons? No? No, nothing. No. No, my son is he's at school. Were you in a ca- What's been going on today? Um well, this lady freaking like was driving crazy and she was like she like rear-ended the crap out of me and She rear-ended you? >> No, I she brake checked me and I rear-ended her. You have an ID on you? Yeah, I do. Where is it? Do you mind if I grab it for you? Um sure. It's in my purse. In your purse? All right. I'm going to go do a search. But, so you were in an accident? Yeah. >> Okay. But, I didn't think it was bad or anything and then like I saw her like it looked like she was in and I don't know. I just got really nervous and then like it's not my fault. She brake checked me. Okay. Did you Did you see your car? Um yeah. It was like a blue SUV. Okay. Did she leave? Cuz it looked like she was leaving. No, she stayed. >> Okay. And I guess you hit a semi truck, too. Now, this is straight-up blame physics, not me energy. Like first it's calm drive, next is brake check accusations, and then suddenly it's a full accident chain reaction. Like it's a group project gone wrong. And the emotional reel from "It's fine" to "I rear-ended a semi, but technically no." That's insane. Ma'am is narrating confusion like she's not in it. It's like reality check left the chat 5 minutes ago. >> Do you remember hitting the truck? Like when I pulled out, yeah, a little bit. It like hit me and then Okay. I was trying to like leave. Like I just wanted to see if my car was okay and I wanted to get away from her because she was acting crazy and I didn't know what she was going to do. Like I was in fear for my life if I got out around her. Okay. Because she was like throwing signals up at me, like rolling the window down, like freaking out, doing the whole thing. And it was like I You know. >> Okay. I just didn't feel like safe getting out and being there with her at that moment. And then I just really wanted to check on my car. So, why didn't you stop and call us? I was just I just wanted to check on my car. Like I didn't know what had even happened and then obviously I knew I'd be in trouble because, you know, I'm not supposed to do that. But like I was I was just really scared. I'm sorry. I've never been in this >> the semi, though. I didn't I didn't even Okay, so like the semi just like kind of bumped into me a little bit. Like I didn't Worst thing you can do in an accident is leave the scene of an accident. And never ever leave the scene of an accident. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Is there any [clears throat] or excuse? Um, insurance for this car. >> you told the security guard at at Riverwood that you hit him. You hit a animal? So, you already lied to that person. Now, you're lying to us. I'm not lying to you. Yeah, you are. About what did I lie about to you? Saying you're feeling unsafe and this that and the other. The law The law I The law The law The law is what? Well, the semi guy isn't lying. So, why you didn't stop stop for that? Well, this So, Okay, yeah. >> stuff. I'm sorry. I should have >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sorry. Well, you're going to jail. Huh? What? >> your fault. What? I have a kid. I have a child. Wait, wait, wait. I have a son. I have a son. I have a 4-year-old son. What are you guys doing? No, I can't I can't I can't I've never been to jail. I've never What? What? Are you serious right now? Is this really happening? Like, this is serious to Two hit-and-runs. Hit Two hit-and-runs. Two. He hit into me. Two. No. Two. So, is she getting anything cuz she suddenly turns into the I just wanted to check my car starter pack. And somehow we've ended up with two hit-and-run claims. First comes fear, then confusion, then selective memory. Like, it's a built-in feature. And that instant switch, right, from I'm unsafe to wait, I have a kid, is doing way too much. It feels like she's rewriting reality faster than the officers can repeat it back. And honestly, this is one of those moments where the story is driving the situation more than she ever did. >> checked me. Is she Is she in trouble? So, what? >> She was driving erratically. Is she in trouble? Oh, two people driving erratically that you hit. No, the the one lady caused this. >> You already lied. What? And you fled. What did I lie about to the semi guy? >> And you lied. And you lied. And you lied to who? You lied to the gate guard. You said you hit an animal. Where's the fur? Where's the firm? I said I hit an animal previously because I had hit an animal previously. But not And then I said it got worse. Cuz You were standing out here in a stolen vehicle. Who's the insurance company for your car? State Farm. It's my mom's car. It's not even my car. >> Okay. So, we're going to have you take a seat in the back of our our patrol car. Um Is there any way we can like like what what can I do? >> Should have made better decisions when you hit hit the first car. Yes, sir. She's already started to lie to me two times. Oh, yeah. Yeah. We need someone to go back to that accident. Yeah. Yeah. Uh but we saw the car. So, we're like, "Fuck, we're not going to let it get away." >> No, I agree with you. I agree with you. That's why I'm like I started the inner net way and I'm like I'm going to start going 10-18 try to catch it. Yeah. Can you explain Are you available to come to my stuff? I'm just really confused. Like I really need someone to just be like level-headed with me and just explain, please. >> Trouble. You can run all of the tests you want me. I'm sober. I don't have anything in me. I don't I'm not on anything. Do you have anything on you? Do you have any firearm? Any knife? Anything on you? >> Nothing. No. No. Okay. So, listen. This is what I'm going to explain to you. The first time when you hit a vehicle that you leave the scene of a crash, that's pretty bad. Then you hit another one. But she hit an animal, I'm sorry. She's coming. I've already called her. For what? I'm going to jail? Yes. Yeah, you are. What what like what does that entail? Like what does We'll be there with you all the way up when you get to jail and you have to talk to a judge. >> Hey, she can After you file the transport. Yep. And then you guys should finish the paperwork. All right. Um, did you want to wait here with this car while we go back there and finish? Yeah, just do it do the paperwork for you. >> is the lady who did this in any trouble? Cuz she literally brake checked me. She was driving erratically. How do you not believe me? Is there traffic cameras? Go check the traffic cameras. >> I don't believe you. You already lied you lied to the gate guard you lied to me and two different people. What? Let me ask you a question, right? Why do you see me with the And you turned down here to hide from them? I didn't even see them. I came down here to try to check out my car. License and registration Here, let's go behind these cars. I don't know what's going on. I'm not looking around. Yeah, this is giving full plot twist every 10 seconds energy. First it's she brake checked me, then it's I hit nothing, and then suddenly it's I might have hit two cars, but emotionally I was scared and the confidence to demand traffic cameras while actively collecting new charges is honestly [music] bold, right? It's impressive and I'm sure you guys feel the same. The officers are basically live fact checking her version of reality. So, let's see what happens next. Let's see if there's I think I'm going to just seriously have It is happening. I mean like I said you should have never left the scene of the should be in trouble, too, because that's not So, we're going to put it in your car. You can just transport it. Can I talk like can I call somebody? Like what Yeah, we'll take care of that. Uh, your your purse, do you want that to go with you? I kind of need it, yeah. What if but where's it going to So, it well it's going to go with you to the jail. Okay. >> Yep. And I get to like keep it on me and everything or ticket? >> they're >> going to keep it in your property and then when you get released, it'll be given back to you. So, I'll grab that for you. She's going to search you, okay? All right, ma'am. I'm going to search I'm just going to grab that. I'll be right back. Her Her purse. >> Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yep. Going to enjoy a little tow for Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. No, they have to stay on. I don't want to do anything like dangerous. Why do I Chevy's on the lot of 2014. Rental 201. Yeah. I mean, they They could be medical, who knows? But, uh Whatever is in the vehicle yet. Oh. Come on. No. >> [laughter] >> She's got to go down there anyway. Yeah. Flash light? Call me. Yeah. I think she said 12 5. I think. Where is it? She's here? Yes. Hey, get her phone number and her address for a crash report. Who's the owner of the vehicle? Jennifer Williams. Is your mom? Here, I'm going to grab your phone so the way we can get you I I got it here. Um Since you can't use your hands, what's the And what's mom's name in your phone? You said mom? Oh, mama. Okay. All right, I got none for one. One minute she's shocked this is happening and the next minute she's negotiating pure logistics like it's a hotel checkout. And the way mom turns into a full spelling bee moment while everything else around her is clearly going downhill. It feels like she thinks she's on some kind of family trip. She seems genuinely shocked that there are consequences for her actions. Liar, liar, liar. No accountability, no moral responsibility. Um, at the jail they'll let you write any phone numbers out of your phone. Okay? So, you'll be able to do that here in a couple minutes. What we're going to do is we want to ask you a little bit more about what happened, but we just have to read you your rights. Do you you have your card with you? Kaylee, you have the right to remain silent. After having this right read right to you, do you want to talk to me about what happened today? I just need some air. It's really Hey, Kaylee, can you turn your car on? Or the AC? Yeah, AC. Oh, you mean it's Is it? Only when the doors are open. Or it gets you air. Close the back. You smoke cig- I'm sorry. Do you smoke cigarettes? No? All right, so uh do you want to talk to me today? You good? Not really, you know, cuz I don't know what's even happening. Like I don't know what to do, so I don't I mean like we talked to you and I'm sure you know uh you hit a car. And then you hit a semi-truck also and you left both of the scenes. So, why do you leave? That's That's what we're trying to know. >> Like I've never been in an accident. I've never been in trouble. I've never been in anything like >> All right, let me let me ask you this. Let me let me ask you this. What made you think that you leaving the scene of a scene that's you were allegedly or saying that somebody hit you would have been a great idea. >> Listen, once I left, I knew that it was a bad idea. I was like I should not have done that. >> Why do you >> had already happened and then it's like once I left, Now, what I expected has happened. The adrenaline's gone and suddenly all she wants is air conditioning and emotional support. I've never been in trouble has officially entered the chat and honestly asking why she thought fleeing two accident scenes was a good idea might be the toughest question of this whole night because I don't think even she's got an answer for that one. It really feels like this woman can't go anywhere without the world somehow crashing into her. Why Why Why do you may that left her in here when you saw the license plate it was on and you saw him cuz we saw you? I swear to God I did not see them because I was so worried about how my car was driving. Why did you come in here then? Cuz I was just trying to like get like away from everyone. I pulled into that and then there was people and I was like I just don't want to deal with people right now. So, I just came into like a more secluded area to just like like like that just happened. Like I feel like I'm in shock. I don't know like I've never been in an accident. I've never been like anything. So, it just it it all happened so quick. I don't I honestly >> completely I do get it. I do, but leaving the scene of a crash is never is never a good idea. Never at all. Because of what? Like as of right now, what do you think that that's making me think? That you were the one at fault, right? That you were the one who Who hit the other car? Well, I did hit the first car, but it was her fault for brake checking me like that. >> So, why did you leave? Well, I was I How I was scared. That's all I can say is I was scared. >> that happen? The first The first vehicle that you hit, like where did that happen? I don't know what road it was. It was just right off 776. It was It was like past the bridge, like this way or before the bridge? I think it was before. Before? >> It all happened so quick. Like that I'm just like I don't know. How do you hit that car? Cuz she brake checked me. Like okay, so it started off like I was just driving normal. I was just trying to go around her and then she started like I like screaming, freaking out. So, then I just go around and I'm like, "Okay, whatever." And I just rode behind her and then she's like screaming at me through the window, like yelling at me and like all this And so then I was like, "Okay." And then she like went that way. So, then I went that way because I was like, "What like I'm just She was like I was like >> Like she went and then I like Like she was turning, but I was turning there, too. So, I had to go that way, too. Oh, she was making a right turn into >> She was making a left turn, but I had to make a left turn as well. And so, I was just going. Like I was behind her that whole time. Like we had gotten into it and then she was still yelling at me through the window. I was still behind her. And then I guess we ended up both needing to go the same like way. So, then she went and then I went and then when she went to go, she like slammed on her brakes and brake checked me again. Like had already done that down there. She did it She did it twice? Yes, like once on the main road and then once when we were like about to turn, but then when we were about to turn, she like slammed hard. I can actually hear the regret kicking in. Like she knows leaving was a terrible idea, but now she's stuck trying to explain a decision that makes less sense every time she talks. It's just excuse after excuse. I was scared and I was in shock. She brake checked me. It feels like she thinks everything is going to be fine again in a moment, but I'm sure you know by now that the situation is already gone too far out of control. And she even looked out the window and laughed. She said Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. How fast were you going when you hit her? I don't know like how fast she was going because I was behind her. If you have to estimate in speed like how fast 50 50 60 because that's how much it was on the All right. What about the second car? The second trailer? That was just because I was looking like I was so stupid. When did that happen? I don't know. You don't know, but it wasn't 776? right there. Yeah, like it was like the crash happened right there. And you were You were to go back on the road because I was just like what I wanted to check my car. And so I went to like go out cuz I didn't want to be in the in the middle, you know? So, when you hit that trailer, when you hit the second trailer, did you hit the trailer on 776 or was it was it 7? How fast were you going? Probably not fast at all, maybe 30. Maybe 30? Okay. Did you You didn't stop, right? Okay. No, I stopped up, but I stopped right down the road right there. I just didn't want to be on the main road. Like I literally stopped on the first, that's why I was in that Rocky Mountain area. All right, so another question. So, the deputies are inventorying the car because it's going to be towed. So, they said that they found a part of the car, like where your wheel is, the part that goes around the wheel. That piece is in the back trunk. Do you know how Okay. So, was it like hanging off? Like like hanging from the car and then you just like ripped it off and put it in the back? Okay. Who What guy at the gated community? Okay. He ripped it off for you and then put it in the trunk? Okay. They were just wondering why it wasn't why it was back there. She just casually admitted the second crash happened because I wasn't looking. Well, that's one honest sentence at least. And finding broken car parts in the trunk, that's definitely not helping her case. Right now, I'm not even sure which version of the story she's sticking with. Like if you hit someone and immediately run, [music] it really shows a lack of responsibility and maturity to have a driver's license. [music] Two hit-and-runs, running from the police, and she's still acting confused about what she did wrong. And which community was that? Um I I honestly I don't know. Riverwood or something. >> Riverwood? Yeah, I think. I don't know that I don't know that area well. Okay. Um So, like I said, the moment that you tried to like come over here and try to hide [music] from us. I wasn't I was literally just trying to like >> Well, that's not what it That's That's not That's not what it looks like for us. I know. I'm sorry. Like I I really honestly got did not Have you ever called 911 before? No, I didn't. You never called 911. I get it that you were scared, but leaving the scene of a crime is never a good idea. Like I said before, um it it doesn't look good at all. And then we have this lady complaining of injuries. I get it that you were trying to make a turn or she was trying to make a turn, but the moment that you She brake checked me and made me slam into her. >> I I get it. get it. But the moment that you engage on a, I don't know, visual conversation with her or anything else, that's when road rage starts. So, uh that's that's where we're at right now. >> She started it with me though. It's literally what happened. Like I even All right. So, I'm going to call it like you said uh the other day we said we're going to inventory your vehicle. It's going to get towed. I'm going to call your mom and let her know what's going on that way she's aware. Uh when you get to up to the jail, they're going to allow you to get couple phone numbers out of your phone that way you can make calls if you wish over there. Uh Do you have any questions for me? So, what's going to happen? Well, you're going to jail. Like can I go home tonight? Uh I'm not sure to be honest. I I wouldn't think so. Or I don't know how quick they can get you in there. I can I can talk to her about it. All right. I'm going to do the inventory. We'll talk on the way down. Thanks, Harley. What's her name and how old is she? Uh she's still holding on to she started it like that's somehow going to cancel everything that happened after it. And the moment she asks, "Can I go home tonight?" Uh yeah, that's when reality finally hits. A little late, but at least it finally sinks in. Stupid is as stupid does. Love that she got that officer. He clearly doesn't miss honesty. It seems like calling out inconsistencies is one of his strengths in this job. Legend has it that she's still somewhere out there explaining how it was technically everyone else's fault. The brake check, the semi, the traffic, anybody but her. The officers showed incredible patience as they listened to that entire explanation without their brains short circuiting. And she was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and was sentenced to 6 months of probation, a 4-hour driving course, and $397 in restitution. Drop a comment below. Do you think she was genuinely panicking or just trying to talk her way out of it? Subscribe if you're new because trust me, these situations somehow keep getting more unbelievable.
