Ma'am, can you hang up the phone? Please, can you come, please? Ma'am, don't have them come over here. Yeah, matter of fact, step out. Just step out for us, okay? Step out. Step out. We're past that point, miss. >> Step out the vehicle. On February 7th, 2026, deputies were just trying to do their jobs when a white Tesla decided that move over laws were merely suggestions. [music] The driver drifted past a traffic stop without even a hint of courtesy, forcing a deputy to chase her down like a runaway shopping cart. When the sirens finally [music] got her attention, she pulled over with the grace of a drunk giraffe. It was immediately obvious that this wasn't just a simple case of bad driving, [music] but a full-blown roadside disaster in the making. Go get her. >> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Dispatch, we're saved. 11 214, how to start? Good evening. Any idea why I'm stopping you? No, I don't know. You have no idea? No, I don't Not the fact you didn't move over until it was the very last second and you saw the deputy in the road? No, no. You okay? Yeah, I am I am I am. I just moved on. Okay, you got your license, registration, insurance on you? Yeah, thank you. Where are you headed tonight? Home. Home? Where's home at? Is it close? >> right here. The driver acted like she was auditioning for a role as the world's most confused tourist. [music] When the officer asked if she knew why she was stopped, her "No idea" sounded like she had just woken up from a 10-year nap. She [music] claimed she was just moving on, which is ironic because she barely moved at all when the flashlight was waving in her face. You seemed confused when you were pulling over, too. Was there any any reason for that? >> No. A lot of us deputies and officers get hit a year because people don't move over. Sorry, yes. I'm sorry. I live I live here. Okay, do you remember what I asked you for, the registration and insurance as well? Yeah, maybe I have it. I'm going to give you a second to find it. When you find it, just give it to my partner. Roll down that window, okay? So he can talk to you. >> I'm sorry. Can you roll down that window so he can talk to you and you can give it to him? Yeah, I will. Can you please roll down that window so he can talk to you? Yeah, of course. Sorry. It's not the right window, ma'am. Oh. Okay, when you find your registration and insurance, just give it to him, okay? >> Okay. Sorry about that. Okay, what do you need from me? Didn't she explain to you what does she need? Sorry? Didn't she explain to you what she needed? Yeah, I know. I have to open it. Here we go. Where are you coming from? Uh my restaurant. What's your restaurant? Um 35 Bistro in my street. Okay. Okay. I just closed and I'm going home. You understand that anytime you anytime you see emergency lights on the side of the road, you're supposed to pull over, right? >> I'm so sorry. I literally put my flashers on and said move over. I'm so sorry. All right, continue finding your registration and proof of insurance, okay? I'm from France. Our star of the show couldn't even figure out which button controlled her own windows, rolling down everything except the one the officer was standing at. >> [music] >> She kept apologizing like it was a charming quirk rather than a sign that her brain was fried. [music] She claimed she was coming from her restaurant, but by the look of things, she might have sampled too much of the [music] beverage menu. Okay. I'm from France and we don't do all these things. Well, unfortunately, in the state of Florida now, we have move over laws for a reason, okay? So, what do you need from me? Didn't she explain to you we need the registration and proof of insurance? I I have to open it. Okay. This does not open the glove compartment. Sorry, I can't open the glove compartment. There's no key to it. Why? >> need to do it manually. But I can't. Tesla, please open the glove compartment. All my paper are here. Here. Hey, Ms. Goodman. Yeah. So, what happened with your license? I gave it to you. No, I know, but what happened with it? Why isn't it valid? It's valid. It's not valid. I'm looking at it. What? Are you sure? >> October last year. No, it's valid. Yeah, but I'm I'm looking at it. I'm telling you it's not. Do you have a ticket or something that you didn't pay? No. Do you not know how to open your glove compartment? I asked Tesla. Where are you coming from? Where are you coming from tonight? Ma'am. Ma'am. Ma'am. Miss Ma'am. The officer wasn't buying the baguette excuse [music] and kept pressing for her documents, which seemed to be hidden in a digital abyss. All the silicone in her face was practically leaking into her head as she stared blankly at her dashboard. If you can't operate a window, >> [music] >> you probably shouldn't be operating a $50,000 piece of machinery. Ma'am. >> Are you not able to hear me or are you just ignoring me? Fletcher. Miss I need to speak with you, okay? Can you >> Ma'am, can you hang up the phone? Please, can you come, please? Ma'am, don't have them come over here. Yeah, matter of fact, step out. Just step out for us, okay? Fletcher. Step out. Step out. Step out. Ma'am, step out. Step out. Step out the vehicle. Ma'am, step out the vehicle. Hang up the phone and step out the car. Come on, Ms. Goodman. Let's step out, okay? Take off your seat belt. Ms. Goodman, can you step out, please? But you're not. Can you please step out? >> your phone down. Can Can Can Put your phone down and step out the vehicle. I will. I will. Cuz right now you're moving around too much. We asked you for simple documentations, you're not giving it to me at all. I I tried >> Step out. We're past that point, miss. Step out the vehicle. We're not going to ask you again. Hang up the phone and step out the car. I will. I'm trying to give you my >> Step out the car. But we tried and you couldn't give it to us, okay? I tried I'm trying. Okay, let's walk over back here, okay? To the sidewalk. All right, I just wanted to explain a couple things to you, but you weren't really listening all that well when we were in the car, okay? Um I'm noticing a couple things from you, right? I noticed a bit of an odor of alcohol. I noticed that your movements are slow. I noticed that your eyes are bloodshot and a little glossy, okay? With that being said, do you want to do a couple exercises just to make sure you're not too impaired to drive? It's a clear indication of being intoxicated when you're asking the same question to a computer over and over again without getting a result. She looked absolutely terrified, but honestly, her plastic surgeon should be arrested, too, because [music] that face is a crime against humanity. Call the dispatch for me. Is that a yes? You're you're okay with doing them? Please, please. Officer Sparky, I'm holding her off. Looks like tag. tag is obscured. You said I'm sorry I can barely hear you. We got traffic. Ma'am. Stop walking away. Stay right Stay right there where you are, okay? Listen to what she's trying to tell you, okay? Do you want to run through them? I can explain them to you and I'm going to demonstrate them, okay? So, what it would entail is just me checking your eyes, you walking a line, standing on one leg. Do you think you could do that tonight? Okay. Let's get them started and get it out of the way, okay? But, just so you're aware for future reference, your license is not valid. So, regardless >> Why? Why? Tell I can pull I'll be able to pull it up later. All it comes Honestly, every time I have that you know, in my emails, I have that. I go to the DMV and I get my license right. Tell me what happened. I can give you more details. All it tells me right now with what I have available is that it's not valid. And it tells me the date. But, like I said, after we're done with doing what we're doing here, I can tell you exactly what happened. But, all it tells me is that it's not valid, okay? Tell me why. But, I just Ma'am, I just explained to you that we are provided limited information. So, it provides us the date and I can go back and I can try to look into it a little more to figure out why it is, okay? All right. Let's get these exercises out of the way and then we can figure out the license, okay? You said you wanted to do them? But, why my license is not valid? >> We're stuck on the license. At this point, this is something that you know what I mean? And if I knew I would tell you. But, please tell me >> I would tell you. Again, if I knew I would tell you. I don't think you're understanding what I'm telling you, ma'am. If I knew I would tell you. I was telling you out of a courtesy. Okay? Do you want to start running the exercises through and get this out of over with so we can get out of the cold or Where are you going? Where are you going? Ma'am, stay in one spot, okay? I'm not going to ask you again. Stay in one spot. Listen to what she's trying to explain. She was having an entire conversation with unseen others in her head, leaving the deputies wondering if she had completely checked out of reality. It took them yelling, "Ma'am!" about 50 times before she even flickered an eyelid. She is living proof that the ability to hear is far different than the ability to listen, [music] especially when you're tuned into a different frequency. Okay. All right. Let's go run these exercises through. You said you wanted to do them? You don't want to do them? No. Well, you're shaking your head, no. I'm confused. No, but No, but I just want to know why my license is not valid. Ma'am, we're not on the license at this point. Once we get through this, I can explain to you better and I can try to pull it up. But, at this point, I'm not entirely sure. So, do you want to just get this over with and start the exercises or no? Okay, just making you aware if we don't do the exercises again, it is your choice. But, if we do not, I would have to go based off what I have, which is your driving patterns, the fact you failed to move over, the fact it took you extremely long to pull over after my lights and sirens were being activated. The fact you stopped me. I explained it to you already, ma'am. The fact I had to explain things to you several times is another example. The fact you couldn't provide registration, insurance, any of that. It took you a hot minute to provide your license to me. There's a lot of different indicators that I'm getting the blood shot. Can you please stop cutting me off? That's not what we're talking about. Okay, you have bloodshot, glossy eyes. I would have to go based off what I have already. Or you could run the exercises and it could determine that you're not too impaired to drive. But, it's entirely your decision to make. But, we're not on the license anymore. That's what I'm trying to explain. We will explain that to you once you listen to her and do what she's trying to tell you to do, okay? Once you get that done, we'll explain to you that, "Hey, this is the reason my license is suspended, okay?" Listen to what she's trying to tell you, okay? All right. Talk to her. Yes, sir. Do you want to run through the exercises? Yeah. Yes? Okay, let's get started. What I'm going to have you do is just stand in front of me. Nope, facing me. You're fine. That's okay. I want you to stand with your toes touching, heels touching, and hands down by your side, the same way I am. You see how my feet are? Yeah. She seems stuck on the license issue, [music] completely ignoring the fact that she was currently failing a field sobriety test before it even started. The bigger crime here is definitely the botched plastic surgeries that make her look like a haunted doll in the moonlight. Fantastic. And you're going to stand with your hands down by your side and I don't want you to do anything else until I tell you to. Any questions so far? Any questions so far? No. No questions? Okay, just keep your hands down by your side until I tell you to do something else, okay? Keep your feet together the same way mine are. Yep, you see my feet? Yeah. Toes touching, heels touching, hands down by my side. That's not how my feet are, ma'am. You see how my toes are touching and my heels are touching? Like this? Do you see the way my feet are? I'm demonstrating it for you. So, my toes are touching and my heels are touching, okay? That's not how my feet are, ma'am. There you go. Okay, now I want you to stand with your hands down by your side, okay? The same way my hands are. Flush with my side. Not like that. Like I don't know why you're waving your hands. Just like the way my hands are, okay? Do you see my hands? Mhm. Okay, just keep them like that. Okay, is there something in your hand there that's Okay, that's okay. I'm just making sure that you weren't holding anything. Just hands down by your side, okay? Hands down by your side. Okay. Do you wear glasses or contacts? Yeah. You do? Glasses or contacts? Contacts? Are they colored contacts? I'm sorry, I can barely hear you. Yeah, you're talking to me. No, I'm saying I'm trying to hear you. I can't hear you. Okay, just keep your hands down by your side, okay? By your side. Yep, by your side the same way I've showed you a few times now. Okay, do you have diabetes? Yeah, I do. You do have diabetes? Okay, what type of diabetes do you have? I'm sorry. I'm cold now. The moment the sobriety exercises were mentioned, she magically became the most sensitive person to temperature on the planet. She kept chanting, "I'm cold." like a broken record, hoping the officer would let her go home for a blanket and some cocoa. Being cold doesn't stop your ability to look at a pin, but being completely hammered certainly does. She was using the weather as a shield for her total lack of coordination and basic human function. Okay, what type of diabetes do you have? I'm cold now. You being cold doesn't have anything to do with diabetes. What type of diabetes do you have, ma'am? I'm cold. I'm sorry. I'm cold. Okay, what type of diabetes do you have? What type of diabetes do you have? Ma'am, what type of diabetes do you have? You have to talk to my doctor for that. I don't know. You don't know what type of diabetes you have? Okay. What I'm just going to have you do is stand the same way you were just standing with your hands down by your side. Do you see the tip of my pen? Do you see the tip of my pen? Can you look up? Ma'am, at this point, if you don't cooperate with the exercises, I'm going to have to go based off what I have. >> know, but I'm just trying. I'm cold. I'm cold. Okay, do you see the tip of my pen? Okay, I'm giving you one more chance. Okay? No. I'm asking that you focus on the tip of my pen. I'm cold. It's It's cold. >> And I can understand that and the quicker we get this over with, the quicker we can get out of the cold. >> Honestly, I'm trying. The quicker we can run through this. Do you see the tip of my pen? I'm going to try one more time. Do you see the tip of my pen? Again, if you [clears throat] refuse to do these exercises then we'll go off Look at me. So, that has nothing to do with why you're not looking at me, ma'am. That has nothing to do with why you're not looking at me. Okay. Can you look at the pen? Can you look at the pen? So, you can't look up because you're cold. Yeah, I am. I'm cold. I'm freezing. >> And I understand you're cold, so am I. But, that doesn't stop my ability to look up. So, at this point, I'm taking this as a refusal. I am not. I'm just cold. >> Okay, then look at the pen. I'm just cold. >> Look at the pen, ma'am. >> I'm just cold. I'm trying to be patient with you, ma'am. Can you look at the pen? The officer gave her one last chance to follow the pen, but she chose to keep whining about the freezing Florida night instead. >> [music] >> It was officially marked as a refusal because she was too busy performing a dramatic monologue about her freezing limbs to actually cooperate. She [music] was making a mountain out of a molehill and falling off it. Teaser, cuffing time. Are you going to look up at the pen or not? I'm cold. I'm cold. Look. All my body is cold. I'm sorry, but I'm cold. Listen. I I asked you several times and I'm explaining it to you and you won't listen to me, okay? Stop moving, okay? If you didn't do the exercises, I have to go based off of what I have. Can you stop moving your hands? Just put your palm facing the other way. It's going to be more comfortable for you, okay? It's okay. We're going to go this way. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke me, stick me, hurt me? No. Okay. Let's go up to the here, okay? Let's lean your chest up against here for me, okay? Yeah. Um I don't have anybody I don't have anybody here. Can I call somebody to bail me out? Yes, ma'am. You'll have a $1,000 bond. Um but if they go if they go through a bail bondsman, it'll only be 10% of that, okay? So, it'd be about 100 bucks. Okay? It's okay. Can Can Can somebody can bail me out? Yes, somebody can bail you out. Um that wouldn't be up to me. It'd be up to the jail, so they'll be able to explain it a little bit better to you. >> Can I Can But tomorrow is is is Sunday. Right, and I believe that they are 24 hours as far as the bail bonds. They're 24 hours. >> can you Can I call somebody, please? >> Once you get down to the jail, you can make a phone call, okay? Right now, we're past that phase. >> Listen. If you cooperate with me, then I'll grab your phone and I'll allow you one phone call before the jail. Okay? But you need to cooperate and you need to not >> I will I will I will cooperate. Okay. Can you spread your feet a little bit for me? >> the cuffs. I I would do anything you know. Yeah, well, there's not a whole lot I can do about that right now. Please, please. Can you Can you please do that for me? Please. >> We will allow you to make a phone call. Relax, okay? I said I could. I said I would. I said I would do that for you. I said I would do that for you, okay? Once the cuffs were on, the driver's priority shifted immediately to how she can get out of jail before she even got there. She was already asking about bail bonds and Sunday hours, showing she's likely been through this drunken mess routine before. She promised to do anything if they'd let her make a phone call, sounding more like a desperate gambler than a responsible citizen. So, we're having a bit of difficulty with your with your hand here, okay? You have like a problem. No. Okay. We're going to We're going to switch these to something else because I understand that your hand's in a Please, I'm just going to Just relax. I know. I know. But it's a policy thing. Can you go grab it? I'm good here. Hold on. Let me have my partner come up here so you can stand by with you just in case you act up. Just relax for us, okay? You need to relax. We're going to allow you to make a phone call once you get you secured into the vehicle, okay? Can I leave tomorrow morning, please? You can leave tomorrow morning. You can get a bondsman to get you out. I'm going to grab something so that cuz her arm She has like a I would be more than happy I'm going to get something to secure her perfectly. And then you'll get one when you get there as well. I just told you that I would be more than willing to give you a phone call before we get to the jail, okay? We're going to find something a little more comfortable cuz I understand that your hand's in a in a predicament. The jail can explain it to you better, okay? Cuz I'm not sure how that works. I I I don't want to go in jail all day tomorrow. I don't I don't know. But can I call somebody to pick me You're doing the front? Yeah. Okay. What we're going to do is we're going to put this in the front. No, no, I think so. Doing it that way. What'd you say? Yeah, that's the way it'll work better. You just sit down all the way down. But can Can I get somebody to bail me out tomorrow? Yes, ma'am. Yes. What time? They can start working on it now. Um but you have to wait in jail for about 8 hours. So, what time it's uh So, you'll be out at 8:00. Okay. We're going to put this on. We're going to put this on. You don't think it's going to work? Okay, never mind. You're fine that way. The final blow came when she realized her precious Tesla [music] was heading to the impound lot because she had nobody to pick it up. Even as she was being hauled away, she seemed more concerned about her phone than the fact that she just earned a ride in a government-funded taxi. I'll grab your phone. Is there anything else that you're going to need? Just my phone. Okay. >> And what about my car? Okay, it's going to have to get towed. You don't have anyone that can pick it up, okay? Just have a seat for me, okay? Yes, ma'am. Just sit butt first, okay? Yes, ma'am. Oh gosh. I'm going to lose my license. And I'm going to I And then the funny thing is all the cops they come to my restaurant, they drink drink drink drink and they drive. But because they cops, nobody stop them. And this is the reality. I have videos of them and they drive and nobody stop them. I'm telling you. This roadside circus finally ended with her being tucked into the back of a patrol car destined [music] for a jail cell. She tried every trick in the book from the I'm a foreigner defense to the it's [music] too cold to be arrested plea and failed miserably at every single one. Her Tesla was towed, her vanity [music] was bruised, and her night ended with a mugshot that will haunt the internet forever. She was officially slammed with a DUI, driving under influence, >> [music] >> and a citation for failure to move over for an emergency vehicle. To make matters worse, her stubborn [music] streak continued at the station where she refused to submit to DUI testing, which in Florida is basically an automatic ticket to a license suspension. If you're a fan of seeing high-tech cars driven by low IQ people, make sure to smash that like button.
