intersection in Marana Arizona on her way to what she claimed to be her own wedding officer Schmidt showed up on scene and was instructed by Officer sample to make contact with Amber while he tended to the individual injured by the crash if he came increasingly obvious that this was no ordinary fender bender I got three cars here in this craft yeah this lady I want you to try to talk to her I can't tell her if she's on anything she's supposed to be getting married today crying and ball and I can't hear what she's saying car suddenly stop ping from one lane together and smack this one we're good day okay this blonde bride did not get let off with a warning on that Sunny Arizona day she was charged with driving under the influence and was also issued a civil Citation for speeding the results of her blood test concluded that she was at a 0.35 blood alcohol content which is considered extreme intoxication and life-threatening for the inebriated person Amber caused the three vehicle collision in which she rear-ended a stopped vehicle one victim of the crash was taken to the hospital for injuries witness accounts stated that Amber was swerving back and forth struck the median drove at a high rate of speed and dodged a box van before hitting the blue sedan Amber eventually pleaded guilty in court to extreme DUI and criminal damage costing more than ten thousand dollars she was sentenced to two days in jail seven days on house arrest and was placed on probation Sergeant Criswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted that morning that a bride had been arrested for DUI while on her way to her wedding he later deleted the Tweet to quote save her from further embarrassment after news of the incident had gone viral it turns out Amber never did have a wedding to get to that day her attorney accused police of making up the wedding story and claimed that Amber was simply on her way to meet a friend for lunch her attorney also stated that Amber was not even engaged
