looking for the kids about the kids and she say you had you know how to Okay, hold on. Come over. Come over here. Who? Who? Okay, my wife is inside. Your wife's inside? Okay, I'll explain to you. Okay, he was sitting here. My husband was sitting here and I saw him sitting there. So, I went to let him know that my daughter is not there. So, what's going on tonight? You don't speak English? Okay. What is it? I asked you what happened tonight. You said that. Hold on. You said it was just a verbal ver verbal argument. I asked if a fight ensued. You said no. On February 2nd, 2024, a worried husband called 911, claiming his wife's ex and the new partner were stirring up trouble. Police rushed in expecting a simple drama. But what they found was way messier than a simple love triangle. Turns out this wasn't just a family squabble. It was a full-blown soap opera with extra chaos, secrets, and enough drama to make reality TV jealous. get the food with my wife. They are here eating and he's a problem for my wife and she she told something for the kids about the kids and she say you had you know how to Okay, hold on. Come over here. Come over here. Who? Who? Okay. My wife is inside. Your wife's inside? Yeah. Okay. She kick my wife in the head and pulling the hair because we are talking about and she go the top of her and get the hair and pull it. We had the camera right there. If you want to go inside and see what's going on now. Why was she pulling on her hair and kicking her? She want to fight with her. Do you know why? Do they know each other? Okay. Because my wife was is wife from him. They married. So, okay. So, that's This is your wife. She's my wife. Okay. And that's your ex-husband? Okay. What What sued the fight? Were you guys Okay. Okay. I'll explain to you. Okay. He was sitting here. Mike's husband was sitting here and I saw him sitting there. So I went to let him know that my daughter is gonna stay with me most of the day Saturday. It's her day to go with him, but she's going to be with me most of the day, right? Because um she has piano lessons and she has a piano class in the morning and the afternoon. And I told my daughter to tell him to avoid this problems because his wife doesn't want me talking to him at all. Okay? She doesn't want me to let him know what's going on with the kids because she says that the kids are old enough to talk for themselves. So, my daughter is lying. [Music] Still young. She can talk, but yeah, still young. It's my responsibility to let him know what's going on. Okay. And since it's his day to have her and uh she's going to be with me. I just wanted him to know and I always like to let him know ahead of time so that if he has plans, he can rearrange. Okay. Okay. So she comes out of the bathroom and she starts telling me that I should not be talking to him, that she doesn't want talking to him. And I explained to her, well, we have children. And she went on and brought a lot of stuff that was not even true. Telling him that just a lot of lies. And then I walked away because I said I cannot talk to with person that doesn't reason. She she doesn't understand. She's just on and on and you cannot talk to her because she interrupts, interrupts, interrupts. Okay? And I was trying to talk to him to my ex-husband and she was on and on and on. So I just walked away. But when I came out, they were writing raining on here and he said, "Let's just get this done." And I don't know what he was going to say. She started again saying stuff that's not true, telling him all kinds of things, all kinds of lies, right? And I said, "That's all a lie." And then she just grabbed me by the hair. I don't even know. She just grabbed me by the hair, started punching my head, which I didn't want him. I guess you call I guess. I didn't want the police involved because I don't want any problems. I just want this stuff. Okay. A woman just wanted to calmly talk to her ex-husband about their daughter's Sunday plan. But his new wife wasn't having it. Out of nowhere, she came out like a WWE wrestler, pulling hair and kicking heads like it was Wrestlemania. How many times does she hit you? If you had a guess. I have no idea. More than once. More than once. Okay. Was it inside or outside the restaurant? Out here. You have come right there. Okay. So, you can see if you want. All right. Um, are you want to charges? I don't. He wants me to, but I don't want to. Okay. Let me go talk to them. I'll let you think about it. You need an ambulance or anything? No. Okay. All right. Just hang out right here for me. All right. Thank you. Um, that woman over there, that's her ex-husband. They have a child in common. They have two. Okay. Um, they all they showed up. They were already here. I guess they didn't know that they were going to be here and she wanted to talk to him, let him know about child arrangements for the Saturday, who was going to have the kid for however long. And he's like was willing to talk with her. his wife and she doesn't want her talking to him at all. Zero contact or anything. So, they were going back and forth. They walked out. They then walked out. They were still out here waiting. Let's just get this over with and talk about it. And right a few times happened out here. There is a camera. So, she's not wanting to do charges. He wants to for her, but so does she speak English? All right. Hello, Deputy Grace, Sheriff's Office. So, what's going on tonight? I don't speak English. You don't speak English? Okay. What is it? I'm Deputy Grace from the Sheriff's Office. So, I just want to find out what's going on. Want you know your guys side of the story. I was justified to it had to happen. I know to do that but Okay. Well, what's what started it? It just the thing you know she she is she is my ex-wife. Mhm. And when and she's tired but that every time something happened with the kids whatever and then she start calling me or texting me. She don't like that [ __ ] Okay. And then all all she did is she she told that stop doing that. Okay. [Music] So you guys have two children in common? Yes. Okay. And is there like a court agreement in place for child custody or is there a mutual agreement between you two? We we not not for judge but we do have a a letter agreement. Okay. So there's no no contact order or anything like that. So you guys communicate just for the sake of the children. Okay. So why was there a fight tonight then? Was Well, there's the fire was like safe because um she told her that she don't have to be calling me or text me all the crap. When things didn't go her way, she turned into a hair pulling, head punching tornado. The poor woman didn't even want to call the police. She just wanted peace. No punches. It all happened outside a restaurant right in front of a camera. So now everyone knows who started the WWE match in public. So, she's just upset that she's contacting you. No. And then and then she then she got mad because she she been saying some bad things about her some other people. So, she she just she just kind of told her what she was saying. Okay. Was it ever physical at any point? Was it ever physical at any point? Wasn't physical. So, the hair pulling and the punching of the head didn't happen then? Okay. So, if I go in and review the camera, I'm not going to see a fight. Physical fight. She tried. She did try. Who tried? She tried. She tried what? She tried to pull her hair. She tried to pull her hair. Yeah. Okay. I'm not going to lie. Okay. And she tried to push. All right. Just hang out here for me. All right. I'll be back with the next apparently she doesn't speak English. Okay, I'll go talk to Yeah. So, she wants to press charges 9:30. All right. Would you mind reading her for me? Yeah. Um, this is the paperwork you have to fill out. So, I just want to narrate um what happened. when the altercation happened like what were you doing or whatever? Okay. Started inside. Okay. So, you can just like the the incident started inside whatever. Do you guys have any children here right now? How about their house? Do they have kids here? No, there's no kids here. Okay. They have the young kids. Okay. But none are here right now. There's none with them. There's no kids anywhere right now. Yeah, the child was out here, but it's okay. Yeah. So, it's it's there is they have a child and then a PMO and Blanca have two kids together, but their kids were not here. There's no kids here. It was just between the females. That's fine. And then her daughter was So, it's not like a domestic thing with the kids. We have to Okay. Um I'm just going to see if they have camera footage. Yeah. while you talk to her. Um, do you want to come over here so I can read her or you want to look at camera footage first and then read her like that? You know what kind of question about? Yeah, we'll get that out of the way. I'm going to say like because like I know them both. Okay. So, that's fine. I just need for translation. That's fine. All right. All right. So, this is Corporal Nunees. She's going to translate for me so I can get her statement. The ex-husband said he tried to stay calm, but things quickly got out of control. It was hard because some people spoke different languages. When adults argue, it feels like you need subtitles to understand. Instead of getting angry or fighting, it's better to stay calm and control yourself. So I have to read this just because of the questions I have asked. So she's going to translate. All right. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. [Music] You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights that I have explained to you? Have you previously requested any law enforcement officer to allow you to speak to an attorney? [Music] Having these rights in mind, do you still wish to speak with me? That's fine. Um, if you would just let them know I'm going to go review the camera. Would you mind getting her information? Thank you. Hello. How you doing? I was wondering if your cameras are working. It's working. Were you able to? You can see. Would you be able to pull it up? There was a fight outside and I want to see if we got it on video. Okay. Would you be able to do that? Thank you. How are you? is here. She has honey. I don't know. She can't see, but Okay. Did you see it happen? Did you see them get into a fight outside? Okay. Speak a little English. Okay. Just for the you know blankets is the the eggs, right? But but I don't know maybe she the other she the blank is looking the your husband. Okay. Moms, you know the two I got you. The officer kindly asked if the CCTV cameras were working, hoping they had recorded the fight. The shop worker said yes, as if he were proud of their camera system. If people are going to fight in public, they should at least smile at the camera. But the problem I don't exactly know for over there. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. She's okay. Okay. Okay, that should be good. inside. But see, did the are the is the other couple still inside? The other the other couple, are they still inside or did they both walk out? Oh, inside. Okay, you're fine. Okay, you know she she I put no that is after the the fight she okay she she asked to me she say she can coming to Okay. I say J is public place. Okay. So, it happened off camera. Yeah. Okay. Oh, no. We're fine. All right. I appreciate it. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. happened off camera. You see them walk out and then it got off camera and then she comes back and her hair is all a mess. So you can't see through first. I'm sorry. Did you say hit? No. No. No. Oh, I thought you were talking about the video because I just The woman kept speaking with random words and using hand signs like she was playing a guessing game. Everyone around her looked confused. It felt like a mystery movie where no one knew what was going on. The good thing was that no one was hurt and everyone stayed calm. It was just another strange day full of confusing words and people tilting their heads trying to understand. Mhm. And the last time, the first time I said like I said to myself that I would not ever h you need to fill out your name here and address and then this is about you. I can't be involved with my family. No, you're fine. Um, you just have their information. You have their I got to get it from her. I don't know her name. Appreciate it. That's fine. What do I Hispanic or me? Do I say Mexican? You don't you can you can leave it. That's fine. That's fine. I just your right. I'm just going to for phone number. It's just a cell phone number. Do I put it there? You Yep. You can put your cell there. That's fine. contact. You don't have to put anything there. Um, if you want to put her name, that's fine. So, thank you. That's her her first name, her last name. Mariah. Mariah. Marina. It's an N. N. I know. My a my N's look like H's. Man. Marina. It's an N. N A. So, what's that? M A R R. Okay. M A R N. Marina her phone number and then the address. Okay. I live in the city of Smith. You know his name? Yeah. His name. Do you know how to spell it? Um, you're going to print your name right there, and I'll show you where to sign in a minute. All right, just raise your right hand for me. Raise your right hand. You swear and affirm the following fast containers. Half Dave are true. Correct. Yes. All right. So, go ahead and sign. You can sign right under there and then date. Oh, did I? That's all right. I I can't see. I don't have my glasses, so I can see all the What's your first name, sir? Mark. Mark. L I Cra M A R K. Your last name. Her hair was all messy like she had been in a storm. She looked upset but was still calm while filling out the form. She kept making spelling mistakes and asked if she should write Mexican or Hispanic. She seemed really tired of all the fighting and just wanted some peace. And what's your date of birth? Your birthday. Okay. And is it the same address as Okay. Do I need to date this? Yes. Just date right underneath. Today's the second two. Right there. Right there. Yep. All right. Thank you. Just going to grab a pamphlet so they can get out of here and then I'll Thank you. for activated. Can you give us case number 327 327? All right, this is for you. I you'll flip-flop these, but that's the case number. That's my name and badge number. It's just a victim's right to pamphlet even though you're a victim of a crime. If there's any questions you may have, there may be an answer in here for you. Um, do you have any questions? Okay. Um, okay. Well, you guys are good to go. So, all right. All right. Try a better night. Okay. Can you take your purse off for me? Yes, sir. Y for battery. Both of them they yell each other. Okay. She's want to pursue charges. She pulled her hair and punched her. All right. You also said that that's what happened. So at this time she's being placed under arrest for battery. There's no ifands or butts. It's but she did the same thing to her. She don't she didn't she didn't want to she I read her right. She didn't want to speak to me. She waved her right to speak. That was her opportunity to give her a side of the story. She refused didn't want to speak with me. So this time she's placed under arrest. I need to turn around. Say you know she she tried to pull her. Okay. I'm not It's not up for debate at this point. Okay. I read her her rights. She waved her right to speak with me. So So you only go about whatever she said. She didn't want to speak with me. So, that's where we're at right now. So, she needs to turn around, put her hands behind her back for me. All right. The cops told the couple that the victim wanted to press charges, and their faces said it all, but it would have been better if things hadn't come this far. Deep down, they know they're in big trouble. Yet, they still hope to save themselves. Now, all their hopes are fading fast. She'll most likely have a bond, so you can bond her out after she gets booked in. [Music] We were here and she came with us. She came. It's It's at this point it's not up for discussion anymore. [Music] So, you can bond her out after they get her booked in, but she needs to go down there either way. to the area. Please leave your message for You can either she can take her bag with her So that way she has her ID and her cash or if she wants to leave it with you, that's fine. Yeah. Hey [Music] right now. I said she came to our table. We were eating dinner and she's the one who came to what? You didn't You didn't tell me any of that when I first talked to you. Cuz you don't ask me. I asked you what happened tonight. You said that. Hold on. You said it was just a verbal verbal argument. I asked if a fight ensued. You said no. So then, hold on. So then I said, "If I check the cameras, what am I going to see?" And you said, "Okay, there was a fight. She may have tried to pull her hair." And you said, "You're not going to lie to me." At that point, you already lied to me. You see, after realizing there was no way out, she still tried arguing with her husband, but no excuses or fingerpointing could save her from karma. The truth caught up fast and now she must face the consequences of her actions. No running, no hiding, just payback for all the chaos she caused. So, she waved her right to speak with me. So, at this point, she's under arrest for battery. Okay? There's there's no more to this conversation. She'll have a bond. Once they get her booked in, you can call up to the jail. They'll let you know the bond amount, and you can bond her out. All right. So, you can either take your bag at this point. It doesn't matter what I say. No, it's done. You had your chance. Yeah, but you don't give me the opportunity to explain you. I did. I did. I did give you the opportunity. I asked you what happened tonight. [Music] [Music] He said he didn't really understand what you were saying. So, okay. I don't really understand. I I don't really understand what you said. What you asking? Hello. Hey, Michelle. Hey. Hey. We got a little problem here. Big problem. What's the problem? All right. My ex my ex-wife came. We were having dinner. Can you ask her about her bag? No. Yeah, they're here. What is it? She already the front of the car for me. Put your hands right here for me. Okay. All right. You speak any English? A little bit. Any English at all? A little bit. A little bit. You have any weapons or anything on you? No. Okay. I'm just going to give you a quick little pat down. Make sure you don't have any weapons. Okay. Okay. The husband desperately tried to save his rebellious wife from jail. Even making some calls hoping to pull some strings for her. But sorry, buddy. The police weren't buying his smooth talk or tricks. No magic there. Yeah, if you don't mind. Hey, hold on. Um, yeah. You got yours ready? Yeah. I lost my light. Uh yes. Come right here. Hold on. It's done. It's done. Come on. Nope. No. No. [Music] didn't explain the right. I'm going to go against him. Okay, I'm good. Thank you. 49. 49. One Hispanic female 1015 51 CJ. Starting mileage 53176 covert off your face. Feelings mutual. last name. Date of birth. Just a few moments ago, she was swinging punches at her husband's ex-wife like she was in a boxing match. Fast forward and now she's wearing handcuffs like custommade bracelets. That's the magic of karma. It doesn't forget. It just waits for the perfect timing. Whether it's a good deed or pure drama, life always finds a way to return the favor with interest. You speak any you understand English a little bit? Um, no. Um, something that either the last supposed to keep. Don't Um those Yeah, those I don't know. [Applause] Finally, our rebellious queen reached the police station. Her red carpet moment, but with handcuffs. After the WWE match, it was time to face the consequences she worked so hard to earn. Maybe next time she'll think twice before treating the world like her personal stage. The woman may face charges such as resisting or delaying a peace officer if she was not cooperating clearly. If she was involved in a disturbance or refused lawful commands, she could also be charged with public nuisance or obstruction. On February 13th, 2024, a simple cigarette flick turned into a full-blown DUI arrest. Because why not start your day by launching trash out your window and driving with vodka still in your bloodstream? Mr. Patel claimed it was just two or three drinks, but the breathalyzer had other plans. From a knee injury excuse to Super Bowl small talk, this roadside episode turned into a slow motion spiral straight to jail. Good morning, sir. Hey there, I'm Corpal with John's Creek PD. The reason I'm stopping you this morning, sir, is coming down Brumble Road. I saw you flick the cigarette out. Yes, I did. Okay. Match your driver's license, please. All right, Mr. Patel. I I guess the address is still good, huh? Right here. Okay. Let me ask you. Um, how much did you have to drink before getting in the truck? I'm asking cuz it it smells like alcoholic drink coming from inside that vehicle right now. Like two or three. Yeah, two or three. My wife's gone. Okay. Well, you can hold on just a second. Okay. Two or three. Two or three. What? Vodkas. Vodka. Like shots or mixed drinks. Mixed drinks. It was right. Okay. About how long ago did you have your last one? 2 hours ago. I was in Chattanooga. You were in Chattanooga. Yeah. Okay. Is Is that where you're coming from? Chattanooga. Yes. Okay. Do me a favor. Just sit tight in the truck. I'll be right back with you. If you want to give her a call real quick, that's fine. Okay. [Music] Uh, Mr. Patel, I see you have a knee brace on. What's going on with your leg? So, I was playing volleyball with last Wednesday. Okay. And I totally messed it up. Oh, okay. How old are you? 47. About the same. 46. We can't do it like we used to, man. So, my wife keeps telling me, "You can't play like you're 28." That sounds about like my wife. Yep. But be badass, right? So, go in. Okay, Mr. Patel, let me ask you. Um, you got any issues with your eyes? No. Okay. You take any kind of medicines for anything? Like fish oil? Okay. And anything for your your knee? Uh, painkillers. Okay. When's the last time you took any of that? 3 hours ago. Okay. And any kind of recent head trauma? Been rocked upside the head anytime recently? Concussion? Anything like that? No. Okay. So, what I'd like to ask you to do is step out of the truck, please. Like, I'm literally right there. I understand. We are on the street to your neighborhood. All right. You able to come back here with me? The officer smelled alcohol and asked the man some questions. The man told the truth and said he drank vodka and also took painkillers. He was cooperative, but his body showed signs that he shouldn't be driving. The officer only wanted to check if the man was safe to drive. If your leg is hurt and you've had a drink, it's better to say no to driving. Um, my big concern, I understand you are at your neighborhood. Um, my concern is you're being able to drive your vehicle safely. Would you be willing to go through an eye check? I'm not going to ask you to walk and turn or anything like that because of that. But are you okay with me checking your eyes? Sure. Okay. And you said you don't wear glasses or contacts, correct? No. Okay. I got lasic done, but I got Okay. How long ago did you do that? [Applause] 12 years ago. Okay. So, nothing recent then? No. Okay. So, for this, do you want to lean on your truck? Do you want to lean on my push bumper? How do you want to do this? I'll be fine. Yeah. Okay. If I can get you to just stand. Um I'm not even going to tell you to put your feet together cuz that's normally what I do, but I want you to have a little bit wider base to help your leg out. Okay. Just put just keep your hands at your side for me. Okay. I want you to stay just like that until I say relax. You understand? All right. You able to see my finger right here? I'd like you to follow my finger as I move it side to side with just your eyes. Keep your head still for me. Okay. Feel yourself moving your head? Yes, sir. Yeah, Blake's okay with me. Almost done. Heat. Heat. He stood near his truck with his feet apart. part to keep his balance. The officer told him to follow a finger using only his eyes. But the man kept moving his head like it was bouncing up and down. The officer asked him to keep his head still. His eyes were doing the right thing, but his head was moving like he was dancing. Okay, Mr. Patel. I'm bring my finger down and up. Just keep doing the same thing moving just your eyes. Okay. If you need to blink it out, man, blink it out. I see you kind of getting some watery eye there. Okay. Hey, can you see the fingertip there? Okay. All right, man. You can relax. I appreciate it. All right. So, like I said, I'm not going to ask you to do a walk and turn or one leg stand because of your leg. Okay? I don't want to aggravate any kind of injury or whatever you got going on. Um, in the absence of my normal three things I ask a person to do when I'm checking to make sure they're okay to drive, my normal three things being the eye check that we just did, the walk and turn, which we're not going to do, and the one night stand, which we're not going to do. In the absence of one or more of those things, um, I move to some, we'll call them alternatives to kind of help me decide whether or not you need to be behind the wheel at this point. Um, one of those things is a what we call a portable breath test. So, would you be willing to provide a breath sample out here? Sure. Okay. Let me get you just wait right here for me. Okay. Let me get you wait right over here for right here. You can't just let me go like No, sir. I'm going to make sure that you're okay to drive. Yeah, but but I live right there. This isn't tagged, sir. There's no base. Okay. My job is to make sure you're okay to drive even into your neighborhood. Cuz what happens if there's a car parked in the road and you happen to rock it? I'm not saying you would. Well, what what happens if and I let you go? Can I just leave this here and then just walk there? No, sir. Okay. So, if I can get you just wait right over here for me, please. Come on, man. [Applause] [Applause] Oh, he's Not that good right now, but I get it. People aren't super excited when they run in with us, so the craziest thing. What you been up to tonight? I was a Chattanooga. Chattanooga. Yeah. Okay. Watching the game. Yeah. Okay. Philly fan or KC? Philly. Yeah. Okay. Mr. Patel tried playing the classic excuse game, saying he lived just nearby, as if that magically erased the rules. Sorry, sir. Geography doesn't give you a free pass. The poor guy probably just wanted to get home, kick back, and catch the game. But hey, even a 5-minute drive needs a license, not just vibes. Man, I thought y'all had it in the bag. That first half was strong, but y'all talking about a Super Bowl? I didn't watch minute one of it, but my dad who's a big Eagles fan gave me a running commentary Philly, but I'll give you a lot of I guess it's good that it reached the post game, but it's my understanding Philly was up at one point. So, my understanding right now, right, regardless, you're going to arrest me anyway, right? Not necessarily, sir. I'm just make trying to get as much information out here as possible to make the best just best informed decision. Now, are you saying that because you don't want to do this? It doesn't matter to be one way or the other, man. It But you know, one way or the other, I'm going to get arrested anyways, right? So, like if I blow I might be over. 08, right? It's possible. If I refuse it, then you they're going to take me anyways, right? If if you refuse it, I just put it in my pocket and put the straw away and we move on to the next line. You arrest me, right? If it comes to that, I would arrest you. But I've never arrested somebody because they say no to this in my 18 plus years. It's never happened. All right, let's do it. Okay. You said you're coming from Chattanooga. Yes, sir. What was going on, Chattanooga? Party. Damn. How long it take you to get there? We're here at 3 hours. Okay. All right, Mr. Patel, if I can just get you put your mouth on the straw and blow like you're blowing a balloon. Oh, hold on a second. Let's try one more time. [Applause] 36 Ram case number. I'm a Giants fan. So, I had a little bit of Philly wanting want to see them edge it out just to see at least come from the conference. But so, you know, all the uh light poles and everything. Yeah. They stood it up, right? Oh, really? Yeah. Cuz Philly fans, they jump on on uh they spent all night. I saw all the memes about they burned it down preemptively. Yeah. A preemptive fire all around town. Yes. Okay. He gave a half-hearted try at the breath test like he was blowing birthday candles in slow motion. After a few polite fails, the officer said, "All right, buddy. You're getting arrested." Meanwhile, Mr. Patel looked like he was still trying to figure out if this was real life or just a very bad hangover dream. All right, so Mr. Patel, here's what's going on at this point. Yes, I ain't going to place you under arrest. Okay, you are being placed under arrest for driving on the influence. We are at your neighborhood. So, if your wife is willing to come get your truck, we can do that instead of having to tow it. Okay. But you are going to have to come with me. Okay. Put your hand behind your back for me, please. Can I call my wife? Yeah, we we'll let you do that in just a second. Hey man, I know this is a pretty expensive watch. You want to leave that in the car? Um, yeah. If somebody's coming to get the car. Yeah. I'll call my wife though. Okay, perfect. Probably be a good idea to get there. No, sir. There's there's no work in there. It is. It is a done deal. You are being placed under arrest. All right. So, next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to double lock these so they don't cinch down on you. Okay. 27 36. Okay. Now the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to read what's called Georgia implied consent because you are being placed under arrested driving under the influence. There is a question at the end. It is a yes no question. It doesn't matter me if you say yes. It doesn't matter me if you say no. I just need an answer. I can understand one way or the other. Okay. All right. This is again Georgia implied consent for subject age 21 or over. The state of Georgia has conditioned your privilege to drive upon the highways of this state upon your submission to state administered chemical test of your blood, breath, urine, or other bodily substances for the purpose of determining if you're under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you refuse this testing, your Georgia driver's license or privilege to drive on the highways of this state will be suspended for a minimum period of one year. Your refusal to submit to bloody urine testing may be offered into evidence against you at trial. If you submit to testing and the results indicate an alcohol concentration of 0.08 grams or more, your Georgia driver's license or privilege to drive on the highways of this state may be suspended for a minimum period of 1 year. After first submitting to the requested state tests, you are entitled to additional chemical tests of your blood, breath, urine, or other bodily substances at your own expense and from qualified personnel of your own choosing. Now, here's my question. Will you submit to the state of master chemical test of your breath? Yes. Okay. So, next thing, wife's at home, correct? Yes. Okay. So, she's going to be so pissed. Oh my god. As as long as she is in in a condition to drive that that that's okay to drive, I'm good with calling her to come get the truck so we don't have trouble. Are you okay with that? Yes. Okay. Before we do that, I'm going to seat you in the backseat of my car. Is there anything on your person that's going to stick me, poke me, make me have a bad day? Anything like that? Any kind of knives? Leave the hang grenades at home. Yeah. Okay. The officer kindly offered to let the wife come get the truck so it wouldn't be towed. That's when the real panic kicked in. Not about jail, about his angry wife. I'm homeless as hell. Well, I ask everybody that's in this position, sir. This is my first time meeting you. So, there's that. Okay. We cook out here. Putting the cash back in your pocket. Does your vest or jacket gear have inside pockets? Okay. Okay. Let's go have a seat in my car. Get the phone on my way. We'll we'll do that in just a second. I'm going to se you in my car. I'm going to bring the phone to you. Okay. Now, getting in the car may be a little tricky. So, let's see what we can do for you. Okay. All right. Hold on just a second. Seat belt undone here. Okay. So, I typically tell a person the easiest thing to do is to go butt first and slide in. But you you do what you need to do. Okay. Okay. I'm going to make sure that you don't fall. Make use of this of the step rail there if you need to with that leg. There you go. If you need to just scoot across so your leg stays straight, that's fine. Okay. Don't don't bend it any more than than you need to. Okay. Okay. Watch your feet. Perfect. Clutch right here. Got the cell phone. You see this of the step rail there if you need to just call. All right. Officer Drake already got the cell phone, so we're going to Can't see your face in the dark. Oh, I guess I can. Okay, perfect. All right. So, is it Trisha? Trusa. Okay, I'm going to put you on speaker phone. Okay. Okay. Oh, Trisha. Yes. Hey. Um, my truck is right by the gate. Yes. Yes. I got arrested for what? DI probably. So, can you come get the truck? Yes. Are you serious? Yes. When she answered, she was shocked and asked, "Are you serious?" The man was clearly more scared of her reaction than of going to jail. The whole scene was serious, but also a little funny. Imagine getting arrested, struggling into a cop car, and then worrying more about your wife's anger than handcuffs. What do I What do I do? Hey, ma'am. This is Corporal Null with John's Creek Police Department. All right. We're Mr. Patel is correct. We are at the gate to your neighborhood and um I will sit with the car until you can get up here to come get it. Okay. That way I don't have to tow it. Uh okay. I'll be there in just a second. Okay. Thank you, ma'am. All right. All right. I'm going to put the phone in the truck. Leave it with the truck and her. Or you want to take it with you? I take it with me. Okay. All right. All right. So, I'm put in the front seat uh of of my car. Just don't let me forget that I have work anything at No, sir. You're going to jail. Okay. That's a long drive. 3 hours. He's coming from those. Oh, yes. Well, okay. This is probably your neighbor. Oh, now's a good time to walk my dog. Got to take the Maserati for a spin. anything. So, if you want to just move the truck inside the gate, that way it's not blocked and you can come back and get it on your own time, that's fine. And you can drive your car back to uh stop for tax violations. determin safe. You got to come in the oper. Uh, sure. 270 check on 270. Can you run a second Georgia tag and let me know the ARO? So, the man headed to the police station to face the legal music. But let's be honest, was he more scared of jail or of his wife's wrath? I'd bet on the wife. He looked like he was already planning his apology speech. Mr. Patel might be facing charges for driving under the influence DUI and littering after admitting to drinking and tossing a cigarette from his vehicle.
