public on January 2nd 2025 at 10:39 a.m. deputies responded to a Dollar General for a physical disturbance the store manager reported an individual stole a lighter and pushed her let's find out what happened all right so what happened um well I got called up front because I guess she was walking out with with a lighter with other items and so I just came up and S I'm going to put so she's been here before she's always up to no good doing stuff but usually we don't call the cops because they don't get to her in time and it doesn't make a difference but so she comes she comes back in by the time I come up front and she's trying to pay for the light and I'm like whatever I'm just going to let her pay for it so she can go she doesn't have any money for it she's like digging around and then she's like can I just get a cheaper one I'm like fine and really I'm just trying to get her out yeah so she grabs another one and she's trying to give me like change and I'm telling her like this is not enough to cover the lighter and she's like well didn't I give you change and didn't I give you this give you that and she's just like skitzing out or whatever and I was like you didn't give me enough and um so I'm walking over there towards the lighters with her and um she's trying to walk out with it past me and I was like you're not leaving with the lighter and then she just puts her hands on me and then goes out and she like pushes you out of the way okay you have video of that by chance do you know her name by chance I don't but she comes in and she's always trying to return stuff and she and I'm like sure she's just stealing it and then trying to return it she tries to get beer and cigarettes all the time I got to go back a little further she's like a blonde wig I haven't seen her in a while like she hasn't been in here in a while she's a white lady yeah she's white she older like what what um she's if possible I could see her like pushing you okay but yeah both yeah I don't know what she's trying to do here and whoever called um said that are you pregnant yeah okay how many how how far longer eight months oh my goodness yeah something she's crazy yeah is this her this is her here yeah so she's just grabbing and touching I'm telling her and she's like I want this one instead and I'm like okay that's fine like I don't care like just give me the change and then at that point she's like didn't I give you some money already and I'm like you didn't yeah she's grabbing the other one now okay but she didn't actually make it outside with any merchandise no she did oh she did is it gone gone now like she took it she took it I mean it's just a lighter it's not a big deal but at the same time like you just keep letting people get away with it they're just going to keep coming in and doing it course and how much was that lighter like two bucks maybe maybe $2 so shoplifting right so but the main thing is that we're you know concerned about is obviously how she grabbed you and pushed you out of the way do that you being pregnant that becomes a felony so we're this is damn you're not going to be able to see it it's not going to show no oh of course they don't have one at the door like what do you mean and it faces that way like yeah why other direction understand that but anyways so what happened is I mean I have the other lady's number too she wanted to give it to me for a witness um she didn't have enough for the lighter and I said and I had the lighter in my hand and I said you're not taking it unless you give me the rest of the amount and then she runs over there grabs another one and is like well I'm just taking it and that's what happened and then I'm like you're not taking it she pushes me out of the way runs out and you'll see the other lady in line like she ran after her and was like you just put your hands on her like how dare you but I have her number too it actually would help um the lady said $144 and she gave her $130 or something like that and the lady the C the employee said you you didn't give me enough and she's like here and she like threw a penny or a dime I don't know what it was steal it so the lady goes down and the the employee goes out and she said you're not you're not leaving yeah and she's standing there and the lady you know as she's going she's pushing her and then she open handly pushed her so that's when I went out and I said how dare you put your hands on a pregnant woman for a lighter head God did I I I was so livid and um I said over a lighter did she take off towards like Town Center or something well she went behind so oh I see okay yeah so I don't know if she like I tried to look in the woods like there was some balloons back there but I didn't we could not find her but I'm sending out like an attempt to locate and everything like that she had a silver bike yeah yeah it look like a pricey bike you know um a mountain style type bike beach cruiser what a bigger one not like a BMX or nothing no no no definitely like a high you know High style but she had something over her face looked like she maybe had a wig on yeah um some I guess she the manager the lady she pushed so that she comes in often and like does this kind of time and like returns stuff or tries to return things to get like be cigarettes yeah yeah she was definitely on something right yeah she did have an Arizona um can I don't know what was in it but she did have that and of our lighter like well for your drugs I don't know but I was I was Furious no I get it and that's you know and luckily you know she wants to pursue charges so that's what we're doing yeah as soon as I identify her but you know to go through this process first U you know basically synopsis of what you told me okay you know it could be brief your basic information up top Sheriff's Office she comes hello how you doing you mind if I talk to you for a minute to well I need to talk to you for a second
