No, no, no. I said stop. >> feel [music] the drizzle on me? >> Okay, we'll talk about it. Put your hands behind your back. >> He said he was going to kill me. He ain't going nowhere. Anything you say can be used HE AIN'T GOING NOWHERE. WHAT I WAS SAYING IS THEY BROKE MY RIBS LAST NIGHT. On the cold night of January 31st, 2026, [music] Grundy County deputies walked into a scene that looked more like a butcher shop [music] than a home. Inside, they found a man bleeding from several stab wounds after his girlfriend, Kelsey, allegedly turned an ordinary morning into a violent nightmare. After getting caught in a tangle of lies about cheating, she reportedly decided that a serrated knife was the way to end the argument. >> [music] >> It was a cold-blooded attack followed by a pathetic attempt to play the victim. What we got? Uh, so he's got three stab wounds. Nothing's too crazy. One under his armpit, one on his wrist. All right. Yeah. Mark, man, what happened? Are you kidding me? I was sleeping, man. >> to put this here, okay? >> Okay. My [ __ ] windows are broke. [ __ ] everything. >> Look at his back lit. Yeah, there's nothing. Kelsey's the only one in the house, right? Yeah, that's what I was saying. THERE WAS NOTHING. SHE TRIED KILLING ME, MAN. What she try stabbing you with? A [ __ ] BIG-ASS KNIFE, DUDE. ARE WE TALKING LIKE A butcher's knife? >> No, it's like one of those Like a steak knife? >> THE LONG THE LONG ONES WITH THE SERRATED end on all the way through. Okay, so okay. Can I get your first name? >> Mark. M A R K? Yes. What time she get to the house today? >> I don't [ __ ] know, man. She just showed up. My [ __ ] windows ARE BROKEN AND EVERYTHING. HOW OLD ARE YOU, MARK? I'M 45. When's the last time you've seen Kelsey? >> I don't [ __ ] Before this time? >> Can you just like this for me? >> Before in court. Did you see the size of the knife? Yeah, it's about 7 inches, 8 inches. It's one of them long-ass knives. It's like the size of a butcher knife, but it's skinny. Rest this arm down to your side, all right? >> skinny, you said? Yeah, it's not the butcher knife. Okay. It's a It's It's long-ass one, but it's about like that, and it goes, you know, and it's got the serrated Yep. Like a bread knife, is that what you're saying? I don't know. I don't know what kind of knife or knives, you know what I'm saying? So, it's kind of like a bread knife with it being about 10 in long, serrated like that. >> Pretty much. Um >> [snorts] >> It's It's the one right after the butcher knife. So, she stabbed him you while you're laying in bed? Dude, you see this? YEAH. [laughter] I DON'T CARE, MAN. Did you just see that? Did you push her, get her off you, and then run out of there, or what happened? >> I DIDN'T DO [ __ ] I GOT OUT OF THERE AND I RAN STRAIGHT TO MY NEIGHBOR AND MY COUSIN. I SAID, "YO, CALL the police. This [ __ ] is stabbing me." So, we got three stab wounds. One here on the left arm. Okay. I don't know. The situation started with paramedics desperately trying to save a wounded man who had been [music] stabbed three times while asleep. It was absolutely terrifying to hear him say she was trying to kill him while he was completely defenseless. Kelsey was the only one in the house, yet she somehow thought she could slice and dice her way out of a cheating scandal. She's in there? Yeah, we see her in there. Put your hands up. Put your hands up. All right. Come out here. What do I do? Kelsey, come out here now. What do I do? Come out here. Walk outside. No. No. No. I said stop. >> see all the bruises all over me? Okay. We'll talk about it. Put your hands behind your back. >> He's trying to kill me. Yeah, I understand. He's been touching me all night long. What? He's been touching me all night long. I don't have a phone. Well, first and foremost, you're not supposed to be here. Turn off the lights. Okay, so >> Right? But it doesn't matter if I'm not supposed to He doesn't He's not allowed to beat me up. You're not supposed to be here. You're trespassing here. So, he has to beat me up? What happened? He uh do you want to see all over my body? No, I want you to tell us what happened. Like that. Like that. Like that. He drives me around. He just drives me around. I have no phone. I That's not my phone. He broke my phone. He deleted uh Facebook. He's took any uh way of access of communication. He He's me and beating me around. Like I'm not lying. Literally, you can drug test me. I have no drugs in my system. He said he would leave. Yeah, we got it. She's detained, Jeremy. >> No, but he's been beating me up. You guys cleared the house? Yeah, they cleared it. >> No, but Wait. Yeah, he he cleared it. Wait. We're good. Thank you. >> me up all day. No one ever said that. It was a joke. I don't have a phone. He took my phone. I don't have a phone. I still a phone right now is a legal person. Just a picture of it, but I slid it over there to get out the doorway. >> Thank you. I saw it where it was right here. >> Yeah, you want to You want the photo or not? Yeah, if you send it to me. What happened to the door? I didn't know he had it. Mhm. Look at my arms. Look at my Look at my body. Y'all don't ever care. You broke my ribs last time. And y'all didn't even care. My ribs are the last way to go and I used to be sweet and so you guys just roll with it. Is that her blood? She claims it is. [ __ ] All over me. Where did you bleed from? Where are you bleeding from? I don't see any open wounds anywhere. Oh, really? Oh, really? You don't You don't even see nothing from I see bruises, but nothing actively bleeding from you. Oh, I'm sorry. That's why I didn't want to say anything cuz I thought he would hit me and throw me down the stairs. I'm asking you where you're bleeding from cuz he told us that's your blood. That's her blood. Where are you bleeding from? >> Why do you He What do you He pointed a gun at me. Y'all didn't even take care. Kelsey was acting like she was the one being bullied, but the officers weren't buying her performance. Trying to play the victim card in a residence where you aren't even supposed to be is just plain [music] stupid. She kept rambling about a broken phone while Mark was literally bleeding out in an ambulance. Who's got it? I remember the one time that they came here and I was in the bathroom. I had the door unlocked. He came up shooting the gun at me. Let's talk about tonight. Tonight, he's a psycho. I don't know what to tell you. He hit my phone. I don't know. He's a trespasser. He's not supposed to be here. Okay. Okay. So, that part of the the charge is to be dropped. The other part of it, you said Yeah, I understand. He threw that at me. Where are you bleeding from? If you are bleeding. Cuz if you are, we'll get you some medical attention, but I don't see you actively bleeding anywhere. >> so drag me out by my hair. You want to answer his question, please? Uh can I No. No. So, you're not bleeding. Oh, oh, I'm just lying. Y'all always ask that of him. He's not going to call the cops on him. Did you talk to him yet? We're both not even The white seat Where is he at then? He's in the ambulance. Oh, he's not in the ambulance. There's nothing There's nothing wrong with him. He threw He beat the [ __ ] out of me. You don't even bruise Bruises I have on my body are from him. Literally, I'm not saying it. So, are you going to What happened? What happened tonight? All right, so we were like this. I don't see any blood on that though. It was laying right here. We slid it over there. She's got blood on her, but she doesn't seem to be bleeding. He's got some blood. She's got it in the armpit and thigh and on the wrist. And she won't tell us what happened. And she's messed up on something. She showed up He's like, "I was sleeping." Okay, he was just throwing chairs at me. That hurt. And And he had a throwing chair. He threw two of them. Threw them at you? Yeah. That hurt. That hurt. That hurt. And you don't know why he did it. That's what I was going to ask. We don't We don't Literally, like I don't I love him, obviously. Like, I don't want to start problems with him. But, as soon as like the weekend comes, he wants to do whatever he wants. No, don't let him out. There's glass over here. Hey. Don't let him out. Come on. Hey. Come on, bud. Come on, bud. Come on, bud. Come on, bud. That was it. What's that? That was laying right there when I got here. Yeah, in the front. I was laying in the And it's got to be the one. It's impossible to get the story out of her. No. We never hit each other. He said stuff was thrown, right? He I've said we never He's throwing it at you. This is definitely She had the balls to repeatedly stab someone [music] and then act like her bruises were the main event. She pointed at imaginary blood on her hands while the deputies noticed there wasn't a single open wound on her entire body. It seemed like she had done PhD in gaslighting, but the deputies were focused on the reality of the bloody crime scene. When did that happen? Right there. See? I don't know where her parents are though. Yeah, there's more over by the door. Then let Let call my mom. Well, she He took my phone, too. We're we're we're beyond that point right now. Well, no, [ __ ] What about him? Huh? He's going to the hospital. Yeah, he's at the hospital right now. Well, what happened to him? Well, let's hope nothing bad happens. Well, he did it. Well, that's why we're asking you the questions. We're just trying to figure >> Well, he broke my ribs last I'm not touching him. It was a whole week of not doing drugs. I'm Sorry, he cannot do it. He's over here being >> why you got frustrated and threw the chair at him? No, even this morning he was he was mad. I'm like, "Mark, you know, it's been a whole week." He's like, "I don't care." He's He's like, "You don't need to reschedules." I said, "Breakfast on the chair?" You know, all this. You know what I mean? I take him out of the car. Take him You want to walk out of here on the dog on the walk. You know, this is this is how we do it. I I am not going to talk to you. That's what we're trying to get your side of the story. I have to read you this, okay? Oh my god. Um Oh, no. You know YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL EITHER WAY BECAUSE YOU HAVE I'M DONE WITH THIS MOTHER OKAY, SO LISTEN to me. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? So, he's not going nowhere. Anything you say can be used >> HE'S NOT GOING NOWHERE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? WELL, I WAS I WAS LIKE, "HE BROKE MY RIBS LAST NIGHT." I'M TALKING TO YOU. NO. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? Anything you say can be >> here. Anything you say can be used against you in court or other proceedings. Do you understand? You have the right to ask for a lawyer before advice before we ask you any questions and have him or her with you during questioning. Do you understand? Yes, can I please uh If you can afford a lawyer, one will be uh appointed for you free of charge to see you before any questions IF YOU WISH. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? Um right now, you're going to be charged with criminal trespass to residence. You're going to be charged with criminal damage to property, uh aggravated domestic battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Do you understand? Oh, but oh, no, but okay. I'll go to jail for this? Do I have one of my cigarettes? Oh, that's right. No, wait. Mark is sitting there. Hell, no. You have no idea how much he's [ __ ] our family's over. I can't even go to my family's house just a bit. The house looked like a tornado of bad decisions [music] with broken chairs and glass scattered everywhere. Kelsey kept trying to blame the mess on Mark's frustration, [music] but her story had more holes in it than cheese. It's hard to believe anyone would stay with such a psycho person. Is he abusing my family? No, no, no. Yeah. No, no, no. Uh-uh. Stop moving. Miranda 26, Mark Miranda and a 95. [screaming] >> GOT MY ARM SO TIGHT, DUDE. MY LEFT ARM NO, IT'S TOO TIGHT. MY LEFT ARM NO. GET IT OFF MY LEFT SIDE LIKE THAT. NO. I GOT A [ __ ] ALREADY GRABBING ME LIKE HE'S my kid and all that. I know he's No, it's too tight. IT'S TOO TIGHT. JUST WAIT. HE'S A ADJUSTING IT. IS HE ABUSING ME OR HIM? He got my arm so tight, like No. He's not going to see here and abuse my family. Put my knees up and record my kids in the bathtub naked. Yeah, no, no, no. I already told you this. Anybody got a paper bag? For that? Uh Look FOR A CONTAINER OR SOMETHING TO PUT IT IN. YEAH. I don't know if that's the one, but it was the one that was laying by the door. No. No, he drug tested me. I already told him this. They don't listen. All right, WELL, THIS UM NO. WHAT NIGHT? WHAT HE SAID MY PHONE. THAT'S ILLEGAL. THAT'S ILLEGAL. YEAH. He said my phone. Is that illegal? It makes I can't even call the cops. Yeah, I can grab it. Get him out. Put your shoes on. THEY'RE NOT MY SHOES. WELL, they are now, so just take >> No, they're not. YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BUY ME AROUND my you let her Cuz you already got a STATEMENT FROM HIM. I GOT A QUICK STATEMENT SAYING THAT HE was asleep. Yeah, we did. It was quick passing as we were going to the restroom. I know you got cameras in here. That's Yeah. said. there. Over there. All right, let's go. I know. Come on. Can I have a cigarette? No. Why am I getting blood on my hands? There's blood on the door handle, too. Oh, wow. Nobody cared when he broke my [ __ ] nose. So, when I go to court, I'm going to Oh, where are you going? Where are you going? Where are She couldn't understand why she was going to jail even though she'd been trespassing and stabbing people all morning. >> [music] >> She was more concerned about getting a cigarette than the aggravated battery charges staring her in the face. Her entitlement [music] was truly on another level. Uh Who's going to take pictures? Is there anybody else in there? No. Bobby, where are you going? All right. Don't want to give up crime scene. So, what he explained the knife to be He said it was a bigger knife. It had serrated edges, almost like a bread knife. He said it was bigger. I don't see any blood. What's on the end of it? It's not She could wash it. Right. Uh there's some blood on the door. Yeah. I don't Did you already get that? No. Anything in the garbage sitting in there thrown out? Is there another knife in there or not? No, I didn't see anything. We found a little bit of blood on the covers of the bed, too, so If that's not his one, he has his on it. He might be able to Right. All right. Does he actually look into press charges, though? We're doing it. We're not because here's the thing, she's got a trespass warning from here, so she shouldn't be here. That's your two weeks. And in the park. So, what he described to me was a big knife with serrated edges, but then when I said steak knife, he said he said But he also said, "I don't know what kind of knife it was, but it was a big knife." So, that one And I asked, I'm like This one right here. Have we turned that over yet? Is there any blood on the back side of it? No. No. No. I mean, there's so many knives sitting around. Bobby, that one was kind of buried. I'd say those two knives right there, since they were sitting out. And the one by the front door. Yeah. So, just take pictures of where they're sitting at. And get a picture of the door as well, with the broken glass everywhere. Found a little more blood woah john the bed sheets, so. Kelsey's attempt to flip the script [music] failed miserably, because facts don't care about your victim feelings, especially when you're a trespass cheater with [music] a knife. She really thought she could stab someone in the head and chest, and then complain about her nose being broken weeks ago. [music] It was a masterclass in toxic behavior that ended exactly where it should, with a one-way trip to the county jail, and a very long list of felony charges. Kelsey was slapped with a long list of charges, [music] including aggravated domestic battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal trespass to a residence, [music] and criminal damage to property. Honestly, it's a miracle she wasn't charged with attempted murder, >> [music] >> considering she went for the chest and armpit while he was sleeping. She is a disgusting human being who tried to end a life because she got caught cheating. >> [music] >> Do you think the police should have charged her with attempted murder?
