little protective over things that are of sentimental interest to them but when this middle-aged mother was told she couldn't get to see her son at the doctor's office things spiraled out of control and descended down the Steep Hill of Chaos May 5th 2020 a 911 distress call was made about a woman who had physically assaulted staff of the hospital over a dispute simply because she wasn't allowed access to her son's examination room due to the strict covid rules at the time and they have asked you to leave the property is that correct I'm a member of this base well that that really is beside the point if you're not being treated no it is beside the point those organ if do not s in any law you know it's called trespassing if you've been asked to leave it's trespassing you're you're a a customer here essentially you're not a member you don't pay dues you don't have any rights have to pay I pay $700 for this stop that is a customer don't talk over me you're going to have a big problem if you keep talking over me oh really you're going to go to jail for trespassing no I'm the law enforcement and when you trespassing you need to walk outside ma'am yes you can law sue them that's fine but today you have to leave leave you need to leave you're being asked now lawfully to leave the property you need to do it outside come on call your lawyer outside are you going to go to jail for trespassing I'm not trespassing you are trespassing you've been asked to leave you're refusing to leave ask the doctor the security here has asked you to leave is the doctor the one who decided no is uncooperative despite being asked multiple questions was the she batter anyone else or it just uh I don't know how it got to where it got he when I got in the lobby they were kind of tussling yeah hi hi do you hear me Claudia Claudia can you hear me find out if you're okay okay you he anywh the paramedic then pointed out that she was trying to break free of the cuffs and severely injuring her wrists in the process an injury that would have to be checked in a standard Hospital pain in your shoulder and on your face here what's your question she's not really I have to listen if you are being aggressive you can ride right in the back here talking to you I know but you're rushing me I don't have an ambulance I'm talking to you I'm in a fire truck there's an ambulance that's on way you don't even understand what I'm saying because you're trying to talk over the face does it go to your bra already if you would like help I'd be more than happy to help you 41 side 100 and CT do she want to go to the hospital yeah what do she like saying shoulder pain and pain on her face shoulder pain or what pain on her face e hold talk to real quick make she's um going to be as nasty as she is they have to do a refusal since she saying she has do that well they got to do so I'll just have one of you guys sign on her behalf sure start that supplement so that he hasn't for the 707 I didn't see any cameras in there but when security brings out um statements can we just double check with him yeah so I can I'll drive her are you sure I can trans well it's going to take two two of us to once we get to the hospital anyways yeah so I might as well shy in here um then we'll both get her out and get her in the bed and can't cff into the bed depending on how she reacts there yeah okay I'll put her property in your car I did a quick check um there's some cash credit cards okay social security card Florida DL and her cell phones in here okay I I'll go through it one more time before I hand it off to jail I have to what's that oh yeah yeah the property got you the nurses two nurses and then just meet me down there going to go too okay I'm going get going though sounds good and if uh I can just have a second while his colleague drove the woman to the hospital the officer stayed behind to take the statements of the hospital staff who all seemed eager to give their accounts of the incidents and contribute to the written evidence that would be used used to convict the aggressive woman of trespassing no it's okay it's no problem are we still working on the statements yes we are yeah everybody's still writing them okay do we need trying to do it as fast as we can it's I'm just no problem it's no problem um do we need to put it on a different piece of paper a different witness statement I are we were running out of space that's what I'm wondering I think we're going to run out of space Sorry I think I'm going to okay um just continue to write on those lines and then when you run out of the room I'm going to get you um an a continuation witness report okay how many do we need well I know one for me because I'm I'm telling like from the beginning to what I ever saw instead of just what I saw here I saw that's no problem I'll get i'll get two okay so lady she not being very nice she was at she took her 18-year-old son to the Florida Healthcare which is like a I guess saw the notes yeah yeah so doc got there and I guess he told her repeatedly leave she wouldn't he told her to repeatedly to leave okay I walk in the door they're both on the ground so they were in the corner he was trying to handcuff her she was just kind of bite him he said oh lovely she kind of just kicking and fight so both of us secured him she tried to like kind of kick me and him the way out of the car put hch cffs on she got out of the cups once mhm they the the front y so she just has like some scratches from like resisting okay so I'm going to guess I'm going to get a wheel chain yeah I'll grab one for you okay cool I was going to let a nurse know okay try to get you in there fast as possible because the floor is kind of hot I'm sorry I'm going to try to get you in there as soon as possible cuz the floor is kind of hot step on the the white there that's not was hot once out of the doctor's office and at the hospital where the woman was taken to be assessed she seemed much more cooperative and had stopped resisting or throwing any more verbal Tantrums you all right her treatment didn't take long and soon after her husband called the officer and both of them had what you could describe as a heart tohe heart where he explained that the woman also suffered from depression and might not have taken her meds in the morning which might have contributed heavily to she's been she's been under a lot of pressure with this virus thing and raising two boys I've been on the road and she also suffers from depression so sometimes her moods can be kind of out of control she's not a bad woman but I understand she acted like a fool yeah well do you know what happened or do you understand what my son my son said that there was some altercation she wanted to go in and visit with the doctor with him and I guess they wouldn't allow that so then I guess it escalated with the nurse you guys were called and then at the end I heard she may or may not have resisted a police officer yeah well what happened was um yeah that's right she took your son to the doctor and I guess she wanted to go see him and the doctor's office I guess during this this certain time we're going through said you need to stay outside and if you're inside you need to wear a mask but you need to stay outside until we're done seeing him I guess he's an adult from what I understand he's 18 yeah he's 20 years old but you know they're her kids and so she likes to hear what I mean frankly do officer we go in with each other I mean every place but the OBGYN we visit the doctors together because we want to hear what's going on with each other and so that's common I can tell you when she left this morning I told told her not to go I asked her to let me go I could tell by her mood that she was not you know in a great mindset so anyway they told her she couldn't go in well they told her she couldn't go in but I guess my sergeant actually was the first one to arrive and um he spoke to her in the waiting room and at that point we were told that she pushed a nurse I understand um so he explained to her you know it's the doctor's office it's their rules I mean we can't say you can cannot be in somewhere so I know he asked her repeatedly for her to leave and she refused so then he attempted to escort her out um she resisted she resisted and then he was there by himself at that point and then I walk into theot the waiting room and um they're on the floor and he's trying to handcuff her and she's not putting her arms on oh my goodness well here's the awesome thing dude that I don't my wife is has a Julius doctor in law and she was a judge and an attorney and a prosecutor in Chile for 23 years so she can also be very headstrong about her civil rights you know she lived through p and all that so look I'm not trying to make excuses for I just I me you guys are not that people I know that I I have a lot of guys and friends of mine that are tops but I just was trying to maybe help you understand her mindset it's been very stressful I've been out of town uh and and uh so where do we stand where we at um she's going to be arrested today um her charges are going to be trespass after warning and resisting with violence um really well yeah when she I mean we were trying to handcuff her she was attempting to bite my sergeant and she was kicking at him and then when we handcuffed her when I got there I was the second person on scene and we were walking her out to the car I mean she was trying to kick each kick us and you know trying to pull away well I understand and I appreciate it and I can only do is apologize I would however ask you to please uh in your mindset realize that you know we all they just there's just sometimes that they they and and and she's you know she's going through the change of life and she was talking about this morning and I I just think she's having a day that she should have probably taken medication yeah to help help her mood so I would only ask you that you maybe be a little understanding in how you charge her I realize you have to charger and I'm not telling you not to I know the rules uh but if you guys could just maybe have a little love of God in your heart when you charge her wait can I can I come get her is she going to have to do a video bond in the morning um right now she's at the hospital she requested to go to the hospital um she has some scratches on her arms and legs and in between her eyes from you know I guess the tussle yeah so and that she had some flipflops on it looks like she she may have ripped one of her toenails off or it got cut or something oh my God so um I mean she's kind of the hospital staff's trying to work but she's she's been kind of rude Ian want me come do you want me to come I'm close would it help well no she's calm now I think maybe anything would maybe just spark something yeah I don't want spark anything I wanted to she'll go out she'll get now she'll get quiet and very introverted to herself cuz she realizes she's you know but dude at the time when they flash up like that I mean she's she's the violence I haven't seen it in many many years so maybe we need to go visit the doctor again yeah I mean I tried to talk to her I tried to talk to her a little bit you know I mean I mean I've been a cop 15 years and I mean no I got people that I got people that want to you know rip my head off and by the time I talk to him I can talk to people you I'm a I'm a chill guy people can you know feed all my energy I sense that in so I mean I don't fight people very often I mean it was already mid happening when I got there like I said but I mean I don't get into with people we're I'm mainly shaking people's head felony charges or misdemeanor charges um trespass after warning is a misdemeanor um the resisting arrest with violence is a felony so um I mean either way it's you know she's s it's still proven guilty and I mean things can be reduced I mean I don't I don't know okay well I hope so I mean I hope so if she hasn't in charge yet I hope so um all right well is she GNA have to spend the night or can she be bonded she will once she gets all right here's what's going on she's at the hospital right now she's going to get I totally understand I already contact my attorney and and uh and uh well she's going to go I just want to make it as easy and simple for her to get her out of there no I get it because that's going to be best for her mental health and then we'll deal with the other things otherwise yeah she's right now she's we're waiting on medical clearance um and when she get receives medical clearance paperwork she's going to go to the jail and be processed so let me check it the time it's 1:00 5 I would say 5:00 p.m. is fair yeah by the time the process you know we're on Hospital's time now and then she's going to go to no no no I got you no dude I'm just trying to be prepared so when you guys so what do you thinking 1500 I uh I can try to look up the jail sets the bonds I mean it's yeah I mean it it won't be more than that I mean if she's local um yeah she's local she's never had I mean if you look at her background she's got no charges like this ever yeah it goes by that and I mean she got in she got a caress some years ago and they let her go on her o recognizance and uh you know it's all cleared up now so we'll see what it is but I just want to be prepared 6:00 or so I don't want to have to be trying to get you grand out of the bank because that won't happen all right Officer yeah that would be that should be I would think but yeah let your lawyer know it's a trespass after warning and resist with violence with violence yes okay thanks man all right sir take care have a good day all right the two men touched
