a weapon yes the same couple as featured in two previous episodes of copcam nation the first one where they were arrested for neglecting their three children we have no money we have no I have no family I understand but we have probable cause to make the arrest but the conditions they're in is unsafe for them in general what do you think they're going to start eating to the that's on the your kid's dead yeah and the most recent episode when Christina strangled Gilbert and was taken to jail for it he got mad cuz I called him out on his [ __ ] for cheating and lying to me and he doesn't wanted to hear it choking no I didn't try to but my arms weren't around him but all I heard was him you're choking you're choking even though my arms weren't around his what did you do whenever he was that I was this is going to hear last night you going me in so much trouble I'm going to get you this happened here in your camper he was standing at the door one entire time inside his camper which brother dark hair or light hair light hair he did not he never stepped foot out of and then what happened and he kept threatening him to come out and he was kind of Co trying to cck him to come out and try to fight him and he wouldn't I was telling him not to and he was this he slammed the door shut and proceeded who who slam the door shut Gilbert he he slam this door shut trying to get away and then what a Gilbert do started to clean it again clean just started cleaning the trailer yeah after he was getting like they tried to yank him down off the stairs and they ripped over his shirt but he didn't do anything so they were pulling on you're saying they were pulling on Gilbert they were trying to get him off the stairs what kind of drugs has he been using marijuana that's it we have a medical marijuana cards okay but I just find it hard to believe that it's all he's been using that's what I use okay what does he use I've been gone I just got home yesterday what do you think he's been using can you guess okay he just seemed a little a little different he's distraught right now he he's a lot of anxious like he's been upset that I've been gone for so long he's upset about the his kid then he ran out then he kept on threatening by the time he got the bat he was banging all over and all over over my brother said bring that [ __ ] on I said no no no please don't I kind of stepped him I when I was up there I lost some balance and went like that he grabbed me you know I I don't touch you on my brothers tell you tell you the same thing um what was said was he threatened my brother's life what non-stop I'll kill you I'll kill you you said he had a firearm he was going to get it us it okay I wasn't scared okay my brother wanted to kill him I don't want know I need like a front to back rundown of what happened today that led us to getting here my mother and I got into an argument this morning he had some sort of episode but when he was coming out this last time my son was in that little hallway and he bumped into him and started screaming at him and then slammed the door and he grabbed the bat my son was still standing there and my son's you know saying whatever to him and he Yanks a bat from behind the door EXC and he threatened my life and he threatened my life with a firearm but he had it in his hand and he said I'll he he's a no narcotic user so I'm sure that he's using something again I just got off a probation man did you good for you I just I finished my time I took time instead of probation man they tried to offer me two years probation for some [ __ ] oh man and it was just a misunderstanding between me and my guy how long you been staying here huh too long about two years too long oh too long yeah we want to get out like we really get our kids back you're on your beds I'm so excited like I get to see my kids tomorrow and he's been so so nervous about me coming home yeah do with people autistic oh okay so you think that might be some of I don't know how he is normally he also has TRS and he has very bad anxiety okay okay how long have you two been together five years coming April okay like we have three kids together you three kids together and and you're trying to you're trying to get better so you can get start try get the kids back right febrary are they with uh like she's with my friend okay she's a foster mom but we have full custody just we have visitations every week good so I broke my heart when my son told me that somebody hit my daughter in the face at a at a a temporary like a foster home really so what are you doing to get yourself out of this like trend of messing up what is there anything you're doing I'm going to do the mental health program good to get me on the right meds and stuff one of the becomes death of your faith of your Holiness like of your actual faith and your love and then you become bitter and shut down when you actually become believing and you start opening up to the idea there is white powder that is on a tray and is in your camper and I see a small child that's rambunctious that likes to get into things and I will not be able to sleep tonight knowing that that kid may come into contact with some unknown white powder that we don't know what it is you took a couple hits of it according to gilbertt again it's not against the law to have used drugs in the past what's against the law is to possess or have possessed drugs okay so the issue is not that you took some bumps last night you could take that up with God as far as I'm concerned I don't care um the the concern is that there is potentially illegal narcotics in this trailer uh Gilbert has given me consent to go in there and remove the trade with the narcotics on there he doesn't even know what it this matter uh we feel like the altercation could have been pushing and shoving until it got to the point where a baseball bat was introduced uh that makes this domestic violence at that point the State of Florida is taking control over the inves ation and they are going to be pursuing charges against Gilbert tonight he's going to be taking a ride to jail tonight for assault okay he will have no bond for the evening he is not allowed back on this property until the judge determines that he's allowed back on this property now if everybody's on the same page and the best interest is to clean this thing cuz it's disgusting I know I just got back and listen I'm not trying to pass judgment but facts are facts it's disgusting this is gross there's rotting food there's plates with food over it stuffed in the bathroom back there this is a it's a Cess pool and it should be burned to the ground as far as I'm literally in the process of cleaning I was literally about to sweep and then mop it with ble well now that he's not here maybe that makes it a little bit easier for you and then you can maybe get some stuff together and then make this a nice place to live so that it's not a rotting right now you're being placed under arrest for DV AG of salt as well as possession of cocaine okay I never touched him what I never have to for assault charges you're waving a bat around and almost leave yes despite the tragic circumstances surrounding this couple we are thrilled to see that Christina has apparently benefited greatly from her time in jail they're the only things I [ __ ] live for for [ __ ] you trapped me in there too after you all that I was trying to decolate this situation I don't like confrontation anymore we truly hope she can clean up the mess she has made for herself over the past few years Gilbert on the other hand appears to have severely declined during Christina's stint in jail apparently from heavy drug use and we hope he can find the help he needs for a less chaotic life Gilbert was booked into jail on charges of cocaine possession and aggravated domestic violence both of which are felonies he played no contest to the cocaine charges and was sentenced to 18 months of probation the State of Florida filed a no information or intent not to prosecute for the aggravated assault charge and it is unknown if he was ever convicted but his legal wo didn't end there on September 6th 2023 he was caught with marijuana while riding around in a vehicle he was charged with violation of parole and and was booked into jail where he remains today without
