10 mph during the traffic stop they discovered that the Pensky truck was loaded with furniture and boxes this finding led to a larger investig a into a theft ring operating across several States yeah that's what uh my company so this isn't your company no what's in here right now it's just some sofas and my luggage just that sofas and [Applause] luggage on after stopping the truck the officer approached the female driver who had been driving recklessly during the investigation the driver was hesitant to provide clear answers despite the officer's attempts to question her she continued to evade giving straightforward information how are you good in your oh not too bad I'm going to pick up this penny that fell out of your door okay is this your truck no it's a rental a rental did you rent it yes okay do you have the rental agreement in your license that was also down there I didn't want that to blow out no no problem uh can you do me a favor can you turn your headlights on yes also be careful with how close you're getting to some of the other cars okay you got in behind that semi you just go around them or back off of them I don't want you to crash or anything okay Arizona early earlier stating she was moving these inconsistencies raised further suspicions about her story little stuff and then I going to take another one and okay you're going to do what now I'm going to take one stuff and then bring come back and then oh so you're going to use this truck again yeah okay when did you rent this it was on Wednesday Wednesday this Wednesday yes okay all right have you had any tickets or anything else no nothing okay so do you work for a moving company no I used to work yeah but I I don't work you don't do that anymore cuz it looks like you rented it under this uh Andrea yeah that's why uh my company so this isn't your company what's in here right now it's just U some sofas and my luggage and just that sofas and Luggage okay and it belongs to you yes okay yes I right I'm just going to leave that stuff up there for you okay all right well this is agreement this is a problem is so she said she rented this on Wednesday which she did today's Friday smell that you smell the air freshener yeah it's all over the rental again doesn't doesn't smell like a car refresher it smells like a deodorizer like a detergent or like a fabreeze or something so she rented this in Tucson pickup date on the 19th not to that but here's the problem she won't tell me the truth she rented this under delivery which is a company she said she has a moving she had a moving company she doesn't work there anymore she's going to Harrisburg PA and she's taking it back to Tucson and I'm like if you're moving your stuff to Harrisburg why are you driving this back and she's like well I'm going to go back and get more stuff well she's not going to make it back to Tucson and back to Harrisburg and back in the next 4 days so 38 wsh break for Arizona deal she's either lying about the moving stuff and this is not her stuff or she's doing something else that she shouldn't be doing that's really the only legit the reason for this I mean this is a how much did this go $1,100 oh my God Rey after discussing the situation with fellow officers the officer approached the female driver again instructing her to exit the vehicle and step onto the road for further questioning she's behind the okay uh she's by herself okay so coming out of Tucson Old luck coming from Tucson going to Harrisburg so is she nervous smell that smell that it's air pressure it's like Dow a or something that's what I said it's like a soft fabric softener or something on me my wife will shoot me huh I come smell like that my wife will shoot me yeah I'm on the phone with that big they're running walk okay oh [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] hello hello I'll be come on there [Applause] okay no weapons on you no no the officer began searching the truck and eventually discovered a large quantity of illegal substances valued at approximately $1.2 million the officers were astonished by the find and documented the evidence by taking detailed photographs of all the illegal items does everything in that truck belong to you yeah okay Ste you have a seat there okay [Applause] yeah or he can drive my Taho if he wants me to [Music] drive no you went after a different after arresting the female the officer placed her in a patrol vehicle and transported her to the police station for further investigation all right you have the right to remain silent anything you say can May's against you in court you have the right to an attorney you can't afford one one can be provided to no cost by the courts you understand that you do not have to talk to me understand all that there was going to pay me okay but you don't want to move this to New York for us to help you as well it's not just us think about it you got some time okay upon arrival at the station the female continued to be uncooperative refusing to provide any useful information despite repeated questioning she insisted that she had not disclosed anything and expressed a strong preference to be jailed rather than assist with the investigation down make a left next door that's open with the right what do you think all of it that's what I think it may be okay I believe a vast majority of is going to be were they paying you by the brick do you know how many you had I know I had a 15 well it was 50 more honest than I thought the reason I say that is is when we get say 50 the person usually thinks they have 25 they were told not to look at it don't touch it or anything like that and in turn they're just being ripped off on their transport so all right where did they pay you in advance or they paying you on conclusion of getting to there we're back or how much would you mind answering some questions for me about it problem okay how much are you getting paid to do this like 1,000 for for each one 1,000 each kilo so you're get $50,000 yes to do this trip seriously in pesos or American money no in American money $50,000 yes how many times have you done this trip before the first time first time and you got caught by us yes okay like first time this far or first time moving though like how far like like outside of Arizona California no this is like the first time I reach this is the first time okay during further questioning the female confessed that she had been involved in the illegal activities to earn extra money for her children and husband she explained that Financial need motivated her actions revealing her personal circumstances as a reason for her involvement um so they were going to give you 50,000 is that their cell phone that's in the couch oh no that cell phone it was my kid one of my kids he uh he um how can I say in English say Spanish nobody a little he he lost his phone and I think he put in the sofa and I put that sofa in the okay you were being tracked that's why I talked to you about that on the way back was my kid's phone I didn't know whose phone it was man yeah he has in Facebook and Instagram and his phone you can see it so that's his phone that's my phone what um you were just going to deliver that were they just going to give you the number when you got there yeah they was just going to call me because they don't call me they just over there say you're going and we're going to call you and you'll get there did you know how much was in there 50 kilos 50 kilos did you put that in there or did somebody else put I put it in there so you met the person in Phoenix or tuon and got it yes and I just got it and I just put it right there what were those bags covered up what what what's on top of the bags right now it was uh blanket I think the female was later brought to court where where she faced charges for possession of illegal substances valued at over $1.2 million the court proceedings addressed her involvement in
