My name is Officer Cadalise. I'm at the Coral Springs Police Department Traffic Unit. We're out here today conducting work zone enforcement on Atlantic Boulevard between Riverside Drive and the Sawgrass Expressway. This is an active work zone. It's a posted 30 mph work zone. Please pay attention to the posted signs in the work zone. There are multiple work zone signs as well as speed limit signs for both westbound and eastbound traffic. It's important to note that during a work zone, the speed is in effect whether or not workers are present. If you are stopped and issued a work zone citation and workers are present, the fine is doubled.
