[Music] what's happening is we are having the summer break back program here at Hans elementary school and basically what it is is it's for children that we've identified with free and reduced lunch in our community this program was made possible thanks to the Broward Meals on Wheels the cool springs community chest and the Martin Luther King committee without them this program would not be possible they also have activities that they're able to do arts and crafts sports activities and it's something that you know enrich of the community it brings people together we're here to help them we're forging a relationship with them and it's something is great for the kids to see during the summertime the summer break spot program is one of a kind and first in Florida where you have the police department in essence running a summer camp program at one of our local schools where we're providing educational physical and nutritional components for the kids during the summer it's an amazing opportunity for us to mentor and then let them see us as the normal people we are the parents the coaches in your community and build those relationships and help strengthen our our ties with the community we're so thankful here at james's hunt at the city of Coral Springs Police Department has brought the break spot program here for us this summer is a wonderful program that not only benefits the students at hunt but the local schools in coral springs as well through this program students participated in physical activity they get an academic piece they get fed a hot lunch for free just wonderful components to build a sense of community here in coral springs and the best part about it is our students get to interact with the wonderful police department and we're just so excited and say once again the city of coral springs 3 the cross brace police department has pursued as a community first
