pulled him over for going 70 mph in a 40 mph area on Sample Road he's I walk up to the car he's freaking out he's telling me that his life is over and originally he told me he had a driver's license but then he told me he didn't and he only had an ID card uh he's going to pick up his girlfriend right now but I just don't understand how people have no licenses and they're driving like that you're just kind of like bringing all this attention to yourself I just feel like you're asking to get stopped at that point you're just you're just asking for it so it's um it's a little bizarre how people do that and then they don't expect anything to happen look you got to slow it down if you get caught driving in Coral Springs again 104 with no DL I'm telling you now you're probably going to take the all right so just a quick recap of what happened after we were done with my traffic stop where the guy had no driver's license uh they our set team and our burglary team which is called bear they were conducting an operation at which point a vehicle bailout occurred where multiple juveniles exited the car all at once and they all went in separate directions um with the assistance of Patrol bear traffic and set we located all subjects and they were taken into custody and it just goes to show you that number one teamwork is incredibly important in law enforcement and uh number two sometimes we don't tellw vehicles for that reason just in case uh in progress crime occurs I can now respond versus having to sit and babysit a vehicle while we wait for a tow truck to respond and for those who are wondering the driver's girlfriend ended up coming into the car she had a driver license and she was able to recover her vehicle hello officer tronic with Co Springs police I stopped you because you're weaving in and out of traffic following cars too closely is there a reason why you're driving like that no I was you're on the phone with your friend yeah all right give your license on you is everything okay yeah everything fine okay so we just pulled this person over because she was weaving in and out of traffic uh back on State Road 7 there's three lanes she's literally using every single Lane at a high rate of speed but she told me the reason why she was driving like that is because she's on the phone with her friend which really doesn't make sense to me but it's definitely a interesting excuse I am ising a citation for careless driving um it's aggressive because you're doing you're improperly changing lanes uh following too closely and you're speeding you're borderline reckless driving okay you're 16 years old you got to take it easy and you got to take it seriously because you're going to hurt someone driving like that please knock it off because I'm telling you you got a fast car you got to be a little bit more responsible okay all right drive safe so we just got done with the last traffic stop she was 16 years old January is actually teen driving awareness month so the police department is just reminding people especially Young Drivers to just be very responsible when operating a motor vehicle because you're driving something that weighs thousands of pounds so we don't want new drivers to create bad habits which will put them at risk and other people at risk God forbid they get into a crash and then someone gets hurt [Music] killed
