and then I pull him over and a bunch of people are starting to clap and cheer cuz he got stopped by the police the FBI would call that a clue for driving uh recklessly or aggressively before coming in contact with me before me witnessing it unfortunately I can't go off of what people are doing with the cheering and all that I can only go off of what I saw so I had the two V violations I couldn't get the speed because my radar was on the ground um so he was definitely going over the speed limit however I have to make sure that I can prove that he was going over the speed limit so unfortunately for me I can't write him a speeding ticket but fortunately for him he won't be getting a speeding ticket he'll just be getting the careless all right sir I'm ising that's all right I'm ising a citation for careless driving you were speeding as well I didn't get you on radar but you were definitely going over the speed Li it's no excuse that lane that outside right lane ends kind of abruptly something uh but it's in all seriousness the reason why we're in unmarked cars is exactly this reason sometimes people don't follow rules until they see a police car or until they see a police officer and that's why we're in these unmarked Vehicles because when I'm driving around a marked car people tend to follow the rules and when the marked car turns off or something else happens with that car people go back to their normal driving habits which is what we're trying to break bad driving habits dangerous driving habits we don't want people driving like this because this is how people get hurt and all day long in South Florida there's crashes left and right insurance rates are skyrocketing there's uninsured drivers out here there's people that have insurance but they drive like race car drivers out here we can't have that it's going to it's going to get people hurt property damage is going to is going to happen insurance rates are going to keep climbing up so we need people to pay mounted on the top left corner of my car I have an antenna to the rear so it can get people going both ways this is a handheld so my antenna is built into the radar system the brains are all built in in the Durango the brains are inside the car underneath like the floorboard installed by installers that do the emergency lights so that's where it does all the calibrations all the math happens everything is right here in my hand I got my display got my antenna right here and then the brains are inside this assembly I could get out of my car I don't have to sit in my car for this right now it's hooked up to my car's power source but if I wanted to I could get a battery operated uh handle and I could just kind of hang out outside stand in a median I don't have to be in a car to run radar so that's that's why there's motor officers that can get off their motorcycle and they could do step outs where they basically are standing on the side of the sidewalk with their safety vest on they my end doesn't mean that it's current so I'm going to let me just look at a couple things okay she was going 5135 and she doesn't have her insurance card on her she showed me an expired one a lot of people ask me officer can't you see my insurance looking up my tag sometimes yes we can I can see your policy number the problem is is even though I can see your policy number I don't know if it's valid so even though sometimes it shows like for this car it's her policy number the problem with this is I can't see if she's current on her payments I can't see if it's what the policy um dates are it doesn't show me any of that so that's why she has to look for her card that's why you have to carry your your insurance card that's why the law says you need to carry it could be the physical one or it could be a digital as long as you have some type of proof of insurance you're fine if if you don't have your insurance then it could be a $116 fee or that $116 fee would um be reduced to a $10 fix it ticket where if you have your proof of insurance you have to go to the clerk for courts or you can mail in the insurance card and then that ticket will be reduced from 160 $116 to $10 so that's why sometimes in the videos maybe the officer said hey I'm just going to give you a $10 Insurance ticket that's it's it's not literally $10 like you don't have your car insurance it's 10 bucks that's it no it's $10 as long as you have the current proof did you find it all right you're logging in look the kids are causing a ruckus over there so I need to go so I'm giving you a warning for the speed
