It doesn't work in YouTube videos and it's not going to work here on the side of the road. This isn't a contract. This is this is a one-way arrangement. I'm going to place you in handcuffs. Okay. >> Under anything here. >> Yeah. I'm I'm not listening none of that BS, man. >> You want to fight him? I mean, I'll do it. >> Welcome back to the Vambalian channel, guys. Today we head back to Florida, courtesy of police ridealongs, where another soft state finds out pretty swiftly that Florida police have a zero tolerance policy for this sovereign citizen nonsense and enforce it in the most entertaining way possible. Right, let's get into the video. >> Good afternoon, sir. >> Hey, man. How you doing? >> I'm good. Officer Sheriff's Office. >> Uh, is your vehicle in park? >> Yes, it is. >> Can you go and hand me your driver's license, please? Uh, can you tell me why you put them over? >> I'll stop you because that tag is not a legal tag in the state of Florida. >> Not funny tag is showing no record. >> That tag is not uh tag in the state of Florida. >> No, sir. >> What? What's the problem with it? >> It's not It's not a tag assigned to a state of any kind. A state of Florida. >> It's for Florida DOT tag. It's uh that if you run that, it comes up under DOT DMV system. >> DT number. >> Okay. >> D says private property, >> right? Okay. Do you have a registration that shows me something to that effect? >> Well, I I don't have any of my paperwork with me right now. I'm just here somewhere, but I'm not uh driving commercially. >> The irony of him claiming he's not engaged in commercial activity while displaying a plate primarily used for that purpose is amazing. Also, I get the impression that this is not this officer's first rodeo dealing with soft shits. >> Okay. Give me Give me your driver license. >> I'm not in contract. I don't >> Listen, man. I'm not I'm not going to play this game. It doesn't work in YouTube videos and it's not going to work here on the side of the road. >> Okay. First of all, fantastic line. Secondly, I too would like to submit a few videos. 574 to be precise at the time of this recording in addition to the free posted by police rideongs as evidence for this crap not working. Anyway, as you may have already guessed, this deputy has heard enough. >> You're welcome. Taking off that. >> I need your identification. >> Can I speak to you, sir? After you give me your identification. >> I don't have any identification to give you. I don't want to contract with you. >> I'll uh >> What's your first name, sir? >> I don't >> Okay. I'm I'm going to place you under arrest and then and then you have the direct. >> Absolutely. After I place you under arrest. Yes, sir. >> Turn everything. I just want >> Go ahead and turn everything on. Yeah. From one step out. Turn around. Face the vehicle, please. Sir, >> step out, turn around, and face the vehicle. I don't want the contract with you. >> This isn't a contract. This is this is a one-way arrangement. I'm going to place you in handcuffs. Okay. >> Can you read my Miranda right? >> Absolutely. Once I get you detained, then that's when I'm legally required to put your hand in to read your detain 12 at Children's Way Palm Avenue. >> Am I being detained, mate? What part of I'm going to place you in handcuffs? Did you not understand? Also, of course, he doesn't understand how the Miranda warning works either. Yes, sir. You are. >> And I'll read your rights when I get to that. Okay. I'm not questioning you at this point. Okay. Alpha 120. I'm 77 for right now. Okay. >> Favor. I need you to step out of the vehicle. Turn around. Place your hands behind your back. Turn around. Place your hands behind your back. Not resist. >> I understand that. >> I appreciate that. >> Come on back here, sir. >> 410. I have the right to remain silent. Yes, sir. >> Yes. But unfortunately for you, that right, which I'm going to go out on a limb with and say you lack the ability, does not include providing documents you are legally required to produce. >> If you can't afford the hire attorney won't be appointed to represent you, no cost. You understand that? >> Okay. You wish to remain silent right now. >> But I works great for me. >> I don't stand under anything here. >> Yeah. I'm I'm not listening to none of that BS, man. I I don't I don't I don't give >> and I understand, you know, but like I said, I'm going through something like this right now, so it'll be uh >> Well, have a seat. >> Apparently, that's something he's going through is surprise surprise, a DUI from January 2025. Florida Highway Patrol pulled him over for an expired tag. Anyway, the deputy now places him into the back of the patrol car and requests a fingerprint scanner. Sir, >> just turn it face. Face >> and Yes, sir. Okay. There you go. >> Uhuh. >> I'm not submit to a a a uh any uh >> any what? >> Fingerprinting. >> You're not? Huh? >> Uhuh. >> You hear this? >> He refuses to be submitted to fingerprinting. >> He go to jail and I don't care. >> It doesn't matter if he if he consents to anyone. >> I'm just not going to fight him here. They can find him in jail. >> Listen to it. You want to fight him? I mean, I'll do it. >> Absolutely love the nononsense approach of this deputy. His colleagues seem to appreciate it, too. >> How bad. Is he gonna fight? >> I don't know. >> You can you can file a lawsuit, but we're gonna have to fingerprint you cuz we have to get you identified. >> Can I speak to the sergeant? >> He is a sergeant. You know, the sergeant. Uh >> yeah, we have we have a right that you're on the roadway, we have to identify who you are. >> So, since you're not willing to give us your name, we have to fingerprint you. There is no other way around it. >> What I'm saying to you is I'm not acting in commerce. >> You're not what? >> I'm not acting in commerce. I have a right to travel. My my tag show >> you can tell that to the judge because you're going to jail. >> Well, I understand I'm not going to beat the ride. I'm going to beat the charge, but I'm not going to beat the ride between >> you and the judge. >> But my tag shows that I am not active in commerce. I have a right to travel. >> Yeah, I understand all that. We've been through all this. That that does not apply in the state of Florida or the United States of America. But you can get your judge and your attorney. Y'all can sort that out. >> According to the Constitution, it does. According to the Constitution, he says, while claiming laws derived from it don't apply to him, the hypocrisy is astonishing. >> Are you a lawyer? >> You're not going to >> Are you a lawyer? >> Are you a public servant? >> Are you a lawyer? >> Are you a public servant? >> Are you a lawyer? >> Are you a public servant? >> You're not going to answer mine. I won't answer yours. >> Are you going to >> You want to answer mine? I'm not going to answer yours. >> Are you going to honor your >> You're not going to answer mine. I ain't going to answer yours. >> I >> Are you a lawyer? >> I'm an attorney. In fact, they're attorney in fact. >> Are you a >> I'm an officer. In fact, >> are you a public servant? I am. >> Are you duty bound? >> Honey, I'm not arguing with you. Are you going to Are you going to allow us to fingerprints you or no? >> In good faith, I'm just asking you. >> Okay, we're going to fingerprint you >> by your oath to the Constitution. >> Yeah, you're not really in a position to question the oath these officers took when again, you're ignoring that same constitution. Also, claiming to be an attorney in fact while spouting the sovereign citizen script is not the flex you think it is. >> Yes. And I am and I am enforcing the state statutes of the city of Jacksonville and the state of Florida >> statute. So this is a statutory arrest. >> Statuto arrest. Yes, sir. >> I have looked all through every constitution and it doesn't make me >> Are you driving your motor vehicle on the roadway? Yes, sir. I'm not arguing with you. We're not arguing with you. You can talk to the judge about it. >> I'm traveling, sir. >> You can you can subpoena us and we'll be glad to come for a depo and come to your hearing. >> At this point, you're being arrested for giving false information. >> No, sir. >> And you're Yes, sir. >> I haven't given any false information. You haven't given us any information. >> I reserve my rights. My Miranda rights and the Miranda I reserve. >> That's why we have to fingerprint you. That's why we're going to fingerprint you. >> So that's a part of my rights. >> There is no right to refuse to identify during a lawful traffic stop. That's why you're in handcuffs in the back of a police car. >> How about swinging prison? >> Well, you can help me. You can come out. You can kidnap me, but I'm not I'm not willingly doing it. You can go ahead and kidnap me. >> It's not kidnapping. You're under arrest. You're legally detained. >> You can't you can't kidnap somebody that's detained. Correct. >> I have been detained. >> Yes. >> I've been lawfully detained. >> Yes, sir. Absolutely. >> I have been arrested. >> You are under arrest. >> I am under arrest. Yes. Do you know the difference between arrest and detainment? >> Do you know the difference? >> Oh, absolutely. >> Can you express the difference? >> Absolutely. >> You're under arrest. >> Can you express the difference between detained and under? >> You are not free to leave. You are under arrest. You are going to jail. >> What's the difference between detaining? >> Detained. We are we are seeking probable cause to place you under arrest and we're doing an investigation. You are no longer detained. We have proven to the fact that you have refused to give us your identification and you refused a lawful order and now you are being arrested. >> Have I refused or have I just reserved my rights? >> It's the same thing. You have you have you have to give us your name. We have to identify you on the state of Florida roadway. Yes, sir. Whether on purpose or not, he continues to conflate his right to remain silent with his lawful obligation to identify which eventually leads to the deputies giving up. >> So reserving my rights grandandise me, he gave me my rights. He said those are my rights. So I do have a right to remain silent. >> You do. >> All right. So how how can that be converted into a crime? Because >> you have to give us your name. You have to give us your name for private identification. >> I have a right to remain silent. >> All right. Well, we we'll just fingerprint you at the jail. Whatever. >> During a search of the vehicle, they find an open and still cold beer can and a cell phone, which gives one of the officers the opportunity to engage in a bit of light trolling. >> My cell phone >> I don't know that's your cell phone. >> Okay. You >> I don't know who you are and I don't know whose cell phone that is. So stay in the car. >> You don't know who drinks those are either that you put up there. >> Okay. Well, you're getting charged with it. >> That's againbody Anybody else in the car? >> Did you see anybody else in the car? >> I did not. Are they still both cold? >> You know how long? >> Are they both still cold? >> I'm not sure. I'm not sure. You placed them there. >> I just touched them. They're both still cold. >> It's captured on body cam. >> Hey, you have your body cam on? >> Absolutely. >> Okay. So, all this is being recorded? >> Absolutely. >> So, Okay. >> We're going to be seizing your vehicle as well. >> Well, he told me that they will uh be impounding the vehicle. >> No, seizing. >> Not impounding. We're seizing it. >> Okay. So, what can you explain to me what that means? >> Yeah. You'll get paperwork and you have to go to a seizure hearing if you want to try to get it back. >> Okay. But right now, it's clear the property of Jackson Sheriff's Office cuz you were using in the commission of a felony. >> What felony is that? Sir, >> you're driving on a uh habitual traffic offender license. >> Habitual traffic offender license. >> That's a felony. >> I haven't contracted. I don't have a felony. >> Yes. This guy doesn't have a driver's license because like many idiots before him, he sent a letter to the DMV asking them to resend both his driver's license and ID card. But if he thinks that and his refusal to identify is enough to hide the 20 traffic related tickets in the county over a 10-year period, then he's more stupid than he looks. >> Oh, I know. You You have a felony habitual license on the state of Florida. >> A felony habitual license? Yes, sir. >> And can you can you do you may know what statute is it for failing to identify? Well, technically it's failing to carry and exhibit his license on demand, but apparently that wasn't one of his charges. But he was charged with resisting without violence, driving while license suspended, attaching a license plate not assigned, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. But apparently on July 16th, a month and a half later, the charges would be dropped. But this was likely due to him pleading no contest that same day. To the driving while license suspended and resisting charges from this arrest, he was sentenced to 40 days in the Greybar Hotel. Right, thank you so much for watching, guys.
