in Risky behaviors like speeding not only endanger themselves but they put other motorists pedestrians and cyclists at risk we just finished a carence of operation Southern slowdown um we're here at FHP troop L station participating States will be our s Florida Tennessee South Carolina Georgia and Alabama right now we're going to hit the highways looking for aggressive drivers let's get started over it's going to be a mandatory court appearance for him uh let me go check his uh license and his registration wow and and you just guys like he just informed me about aggressive driving and I'm I'm a example of what it is cuz I hear the sh on the news yeah and I didn't realize fast I was wow home my wife's going to give me shot well you were the driver the time you flew by me going 95 and a 65 he just told me and there's no lying about it there's no denying it yeah you've got that smile on like you caught me with my pants down behind below my ankles and and justifiable you have to be you were following me too Clos and you weaving in that traffic you're going 85 when you passed me but before you passed me you you followed me too closely you weaved in and out of traffic you can't do apologize and then you didn't you didn't move over for that parked emergency vehicle so Florida law says for Anytime there's an emergency vehicle on the side of the road or anyone with their hazard lights on you're to move over a lane and if you can't move over a lane you're to reduce your speeds 20 mi under the speed limit here it's 5 you were going 83 okay do you have your registration front passenger seat I guess he's on the way to deliver them to someone to put a smile on their day but anyway he's going 83 speed here is 65 anytime there's an emergency vehicle on the side of the road Florida now has a new law also adding that anyone with their hazard lights on parked on the side of the road you're to move over a lane if you can if you can't because there's traffic right next to them you're to reduce your speed by 20 mi under the posted speed limit so the only time there's an exception to that is if the speed limit is 25 then you are to lower your speed 5 miles under the posted speed limit but we're on the highway there's no 25 mph speed limit on the highway so it's just a good thing to keep in mind because people's safety is a risk especially if there's a car going wizzing by them at 83 it's just too fast all right look as far as the speed and failen move over I am issuing Citation for that you have three options paying it going to traffic school or going to traffic court okay but whichever option you choose you got to choose within 30 days all right go put a smile on someone's day but please don't put a frown on their day cuz I'm telling you if you hit them it's going to hurt no I feel I mean you have me anxious as hell we Parts my shoulder y so when you go out by the way to go back on go in a straight line a nice easy acceleration and you'll be a letter with a court court time and a courthouse name so she fails to go to suspend her license and she'll deal with that later on then hopefully she'll go and let the judge know why she was going 100 milph with the child in the back okay ma'am this is a ticket but the courthouse okay here Broward probably no satellite is going to send you a letter within 30 days okay that letter is going to dad's an eye doctor and he refuses to give me the uh the you know the excuse thing I mean is it because you actually don't need the excuse thing and he doesn't want his sht taken away cuz if a doctor's lying about it the state's going to pull their CER I haven't had him check me but like well that's kind of important that's like part of it yeah so I know if he did check okay what percentage is on your windshield 5% okay on and off I'll get bothered like two or three times but I just okay who stopped you before and let you know about that um there was a black woman once corl Springs okay and then the other guy who's always on the show officer valderama whatever oh VI yeah he didn't give me a ticket okay I don't usually get tickets for it they just kind of tell me okay give me one sec driver for going 91 and 65 but he's got 5% window tint all around his vehicle I I have no way to measure the actual windshield but in Florida it says that you can't go below the as1 line there's very small text on the windshields OEM windshields which means like from from the factory and if the window tint go goes below the as1 line you can't have it now if the tint strip is above the as1 line then you're fine the only exceptions that you can have the dark window tint law enforcement and it's for government vehicles only so like my off-duty car my personal car I can't just slap 5% window TT and be like Oh I'm police officer doesn't work like that it has to be a government issue vehicle number two if you're a private investigator and you have a private investigator license it looks like a driver license in Florida number three it's called the sunscreen exemption form which is kind of what he was talking about you have to have a medical reason why you need the dark tins if you don't have that form then you can't have the dark tins either says his dad's an eye doctor but his dad's refusing to sign the paperwork that needs to go to the state for review because if he gets caught about lying he can get in trouble and a doctor or physician can get their shirt taken away from them which is a pretty big deal cuz they need that to work um we're going to check his license out he's already been warned about the window tints before nothing's changed so I think that's a Justified ticket 100% for the window 10 alone and he's been stopped a dozen of times not a dozen but six times half a dozen 104 thanks and he's been giving numerous warnings in one ticket it looks like all right so I'm giving you two citations okay one's for the speeding the other one's for the windshield you've already been given a ticket for the windshield in the past just remember every window that's legally tinted I could actually write you a ticket for it so I could do the one for the windshield the driver side window and the passenger side window I'm not doing that please keep it below Mach One especially all right what's up are they in your car recording this they are they actually are so
