speed limit it's a work Zone the workers are present you're putting everyone's lives at risk I was already on a traffic stop too I saw you and I didn't realize I was going that fast I mean dude you got you didn't realize you're going 31 over the speed limit were you putting your clothes on too and driving um like I said I was I was kind of late foring so you ran out of the house with no clothes on today I got the clothes I just didn't have it on I got my pants on I'm not going to you guys but yeah yeah you can keep those on that's fine so before all this happened we were just on a previous stop just a little north of here and we pulled over a younger female for FaceTiming while driving which is distracted driving it's dangerous while I'm right while I'm sitting in the car uh running her stuff talking to the guys I noticed this vehicle driving at a high rate of speed coming towards me visually estimated them going 70 which matched my radar at 71 and um now we're here just a little north of us is a work Zone and there's currently workers present he's telling me he's late for work it's 31 over it's 31 miles over the speed limit it's just too fast out here this is not a highway we're in the City of Coral Springs there's red lights there's people on the side of the road if something happened where his vehicle flipped or his tire blew out now you got a car going 70 M hour towards people who are on the side of the road working Plus on top of that I guess he was so late he ran out of his house with just a pair of pants on and had the shirt over he didn't even so he's just got to make sure uh he's not putting clothes on while driving and speeding in the work zone for anyone who's wondering 31 miles over the speed limit we talked about this in the past so if you're going 30 over usually there's a mandatory court appearance but that's for a regular roadway it's not a school zone it's not a work zone now because there's already enhancements to the speed school zone findes are doubled work Zone when the workers are present the findes are doubled that's the enhancement so he doesn't have to go to court for this even though it's 31 over the speed limit but the the citation itself the cost of it is going to be points on your license plus it's going to be $66 for one ticket so that's why he doesn't have to go to court because there's already an enhancement to the fine I need a break on the registration you got to carry it with you I saw everything's good but Florida law says you have to carry the paperwork in the car also it says that you have to update your license so when you get a chance you can go on this website right here it's $25 online once you paying you update your license Florida sends you a new one in the mail once you get your new license you can take your old one shred it cut it up throw it in the garbage and then you can have one license only okay you can't have more than two uh one as far as the speed goes though I am Mach citation you have you have three ways to take care of it you can pay it you can go to traffic school which is online or traffic court uh if I go to traffic school what happens so if you go to traffic school and you qualify for it it's a 4 to 8 Hour online course you have 90 days to complete it once you complete that course you get a certificate of completion you go to the clerk of courts with that CT you show them they say no points on your license but you still have to pay a fine but that's only if you qualify for driving school it depends on your history if you pay it you're accepting points on your license if you go to Court you can represent yourself in court or you can talk to a traffic attorney and then hire a traffic attorney and they represent you in court okay be careful man let do can't modify your exhaust to make it louder so we don't have like annual vehicle inspections like other states do yeah I know there's like no emissions laws yes correct so there's none of that here but well there are emission laws we just don't have like an inspect where you have to go somewhere annually you get a sticker so you still got to make sure you're following the rules out here so in Florida you can't modify your exhaust to make it louder it's actually against the law unlike other states we don't have annual inspections where you have to get their car inspected make sure it passes emissions the equipment's all safe Florida doesn't do that but there's still laws in effect in Florida where you have to you have to obey um equipment stuff so you have to make sure your tires are good they're not bald your exhaust it can't be extremely loud or modified to be louder make sure you have your working headlights and your tag lights everything works around the car like your tail lights so it's the resp it's the responsibility of the driver to make sure everything's okay but he said he got the exhaust off Facebook Marketplace and uh I guess he didn't test it out before he I been I I told I'm conscientious about it you know and I I'm glad you stopped it it's a warning that's it but it's going to be a in a system that you've been given a warning for not wearing your seat
