on October 22nd 2024 the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office responded to a residence regarding a disturbance involving two males upon arrival the officer spoke with the complainant in the driveway of the property he reported that his soon to be ex- brother-in-law confronted him in the driveway while he was waiting to conduct a child exchange me here okay trying to take a fight with me track my daughter that inside the house the car I have her right here okay and uh he's trying to pick up fight with me and try to avoid me to get my kids I have three other kids inside the house that they supposed to have dinner with me MH and uh that was it he's trying really hard to get a fight with me is your mom here the mother of the kids yeah I'm not sure I just got here he was hiding right here insulting me cursing at me fromont of my kid kick my daughter right here mhm I'm trying to pick okay can I see the bottom of your shoes just to say like it's not oh no no no no no it was I just can you just like do this so I can ver it's not the same shoe oh I have a weight this too okay I know it's just so we can say like in case he's like no I tiue check it I I can Mark you right now if you want just in case but I have video also on the video camera the the car that's board okay so you you you show it for a child Exchange and the what's you I'm sorry I got here late so you for child exchange and no no no no no no I was trying to get my other three kids to have a dinner okay my child is inside the car okay and uh he came he was hiding right here and then he came uh she's 20 absolutely please and then uh he start cursing at me like you want to you want to say something to me you want to say something to me like dude I don't even want to talk to you I don't even have to talk to you I don't even know why you talking to me right now but I'm not going to fight you guess what I'm not going to fight you I'm not going to fight you it's I come here piece of [ __ ] and then he start King my door I close the door this my door is right here I'm not going to fight with this [ __ ] right in front of my house especially because I'm in the process of divorce and they try to frame against my kids right so but I want to report you okay and who is he his name well who is he to you he used to be my brother-in-law I saw you before yep been here before on the lights I don't know okay maybe I've been out here a long time okay um so he kicked the door did he do damage uh not sure no it keep really really hard but I'm not sure was the door open and that's why he kicked Ito he kick it closed oh yeah I was right here uh-huh I was right here right and he was right there then he Chained and kicked the door and then I got inside the car he was in bushing right here well my suggestion man if this isn't going to work like find another place like a neutral place for child exchanges man because this is if this is going to continue to escalate um that's the last thing that you need no no I and I get it I I truly understand no there's I don't I don't know you know where you live but if you like in in in o chy and Royal palmach Boulevard if you go to the district the ppso district over there they have spots that are marked off specifically for child exchanges oh really they're purple and everything is everything is recorded So if something happens it's recorded So that that would probably be a great idea if this is going to continue to escalate because you know that the last thing that you need is is some you know this to escalate is something that it doesn't have to be no no I get it I understand appreciate that you know especially with you know that you're pending still um and then in the future too because that way if it's just you know her and you doing an exchange there's nobody else putting in their two cents so okay so your daughter said that he when you kicked the door did it she said it hit you or I was right here I was right here talking to him he was standing right here then he the this okay no like yeah Hur or anything like that but okay well we're going to have to talk to them that's do they have any dogs or guns or anything crazy in there anything what they're saying just I'm stay herea just just hang out in your truck don't get bit up by the bugs the deputies approached the residence to speak with the subject in question in order to hear his side of the story however before we listen to his account let's cut to the dash cam footage recorded prior to the deputy's arrival up here not kind not I don't need to talk to you no I don't windows she knows we're here yeah hello hello what's going on I no oh well that's unfortunate apparently something happened in the driveway nothing happened in the driveway my brother came to visit me as a surprise uh-huh um I the kids happened to Mission uh he said he was coming and he said oh I remember your kid said that your uncle was complaining about me um so he said well I don't think it's appropriate for him to be complaining about me to you kid so I'm gonna ask him what's going on why um what is it that he has to say so he just waited out there to see he said you know I heard that you have something to say about me he just didn't want to get out of the car and I was just watching out the window nothing happened he run back back into his car he's he didn't want to come out to say anything did he leave who your brother yeah he that can we talk to him please sure thank you you want to come in no we're good sometimes the radios don't work inside yeah if you want to have him just step out so we can talk to him okay okay thank you 3 31 it be like it's not going to be so refuse if they want see if he wants to do anything about it before we yep fre hello sir how you doing how are you what happened I'm here visiting my sister and my mom here okay this guy yeah they in the middle of divorce yeah they don't he doesn't want me to visit what am I supposed to it's my mom and my sister okay so what what I mean it's during the week you know during the weekend I can I'm with the family sure you know I mean this guy is crazy what am I supposed to I mean I know it's is the middle of uh of divorce is a pain in the butt okay okay so what what else happened he started threatening me you know how did he threaten you okay he started he's he's you know so at at the point of threatening what what what did you do like he wanted to come to me you know but I mean what what am I supposed to to I mean got to defend myself I'm like FU oh and then he you know I'm like he don't want to do anything I came inside of the house nothing else happened okay I mean I'm here to visit my sister right right we got that we got that so so so now that we got that out of the way okay what else happened he sort of threatened me okay like he doesn't want me to come right right right but what else happened nothing else happened I came inside of the house okay can I just see your shoe real quick like the bottom of your shoe yeah sh okay yeah okay so at what point did you did you end up kicking his door I see it I see it cuz he wanted to he wanted to come and and and and hit me so he was standing inside of his door inside of the inside of his car behind the door so you decided that you were going to um that you going to kick the door he wanted to come to me you know but how how how how did Sir I didn't do nothing wrong I didn't do nothing wrong what I mean I didn't do nothing WR then why didn't you tell me that the first time why didn't you say he was going to that he was coming at me so I I kicked the door that's what I told you you you did not because I said let's let's start over cuz obviously I knew that you weren't telling the truth so how do you know because I can see your shoe print on the door dude that's how I know your shoe print is on the door of his truck man but he just said that he trien him right I understand but he's and you haven't and you really haven't like what do you want he's like come here I want to talk to you I'm not going to talk to you I don't have nothing to talk to you he's like come here you have something to say to me and then he came walking in here this way I was just standing right here the door open he came like you want to you want to talk you afraid you afraid afraid then him start kicking the door and Tra to fight I'm like I came here to pick up my kids like you're not going to do anything and then he C him waiting for me there keep doing this keep doing this and I'm going to fight you and he put the chair right here in the front of the car so I cannot move in pick up my kids that was and after he put the chair in the driveway what was there anything else that happened no he just walk in like walking backwards like trying to intimidate me okay and then he got to the house okay and that was everything that you can remember that's pretty much what I can remember right now okay um can you just raise your right hand say your full name and birthday okay so I'm going to you're going to get a link to this email you have 72 hours while that links active so as soon as you get home if you can put that in the computer and save the the video from this incident um and then it'll get uploaded directly to our system so that we can view it if there's any issues you can give us a call just call our non- emergency give them the case number you're going to get a form and with that case number let them know I need assistance uploading yeah I'm going to give it to you um so that's what's going to happen with that um the video is that's just encompassing the front like from the yes oh by the way that's the part that never mind no you can no go ahead no the part that he screaming my daughter don't don't don't record it anything she's trying to record go that part okay and um at any point did you like exit your vehicle and walk to him no no at all I was standing right here okay so if I need anything else then I'll come talk to you um but I'm going to get that form for you and explain the form and then have you sign that okay okay I'll be right okay sign that that to something obviously um you did you witness the bat Leo part yeah he pushed he pushed you and he threw well he threw a chair at you and me um so I'm I'm I'm it's write anything or you be able to put that all in there I got it okay um I got bat two counts bat Leo two counts resist with and a simple battery okay um yeah you should just be able to put like me in the narrative in relation to that c anything I got another like full statement so it's like all at once with this one I I swore them in before we went back I went over to you yeah um but I just got another full statement from him mhm and he the dash Can video that he has he's going to when he gets home I'm going to send him the community request to his email so he can submit that beautiful and I got a picture of him he has no marks or anything okay sounds good uh is your sister going to contact your wife to let her know where you're going I don't know I hope so where are we going you're going to the pom County Jail well I hope so okay I'm just asking mainly for work no well you shouldn't be there too long how did this work man I never been arrested well you're you're being arrested um it would have been a a simple misdemeanor um but when you decided to run and fight with us you racked up four more felony charges so um it might be a little bit longer so for somebody that is has never been arrested you you decided to do it right yeah but I mean scary man I mean I we the two of us didn't do anything that was scary and you're the one that decided to run and push and throw chairs so um and you know it's all on body camera so it's all right I I know it's all right I mean I'm not mad about it I mean it's not all right but it's not all right it's I mean I just got it's an instinct well there there's a a bad why do you why is that an instinct you've never been arrested you said yeah but I mean two against one what do you think we're going to do beat you up on a camera with a camera yeah I mean I never all all these things that I you know never been never been arrested believe believe the internet all you want all right the video the video speaks for itself EAS there is none it's all on body camera dude it's nothing personal like I said no I know I know it's nothing got to do your job man I mean this really could have been so simple man yeah but I don't know I don't know how that goes well you didn't even give us an opportunity to speak about it you just took off running you well all right I want to sound AR no I'm just saying I just don't want thing is that I work for the oh well I'm misdemeanor no you went from a misdemeanor which was a simple battery to multiple felonies as well when you decided to run and fight and push and throw chairs yes sir I misor how does that work I mean well so a misdemeanor is a misdemeanor you would have been you would have been like cut with a court date if you would have just if you would have just been a gentleman and and had a conversation we could have cut you with a court date but instead
