I understand. >> I honestly don't think you did. >> I got upset in school because I'm the primary picker of my children. >> Okay. >> And then when they said, "We can't give them to you." Uh, what are you talking about? >> Mhm. >> So, they were like, "Well, your wife." And I'm like, "Okay, I'll get my wife. Uh, she's on the list, but I'm supposed to be the primary figure. I'm supposed to come here and and take him home. And then they were like, "Nope." And then they say, "Well, we can't tell you if she got it or not. She's my wife. I don't understand that." I'm like, "She is my wife. She's the mother of their children." And they were just like, "Okay, you need to leave." And and I left. And when I left, when I pulled out, uh, I saw this officer behind me. >> Yep. >> I did not cause a problem. I said, "Okay." I left. >> Okay. >> And they should be able to confirm that. I did not raise my voice. That's not the problem we're sitting with right now. Do you not see what the exact problem here is right now? It's not the fact that they wouldn't give you your kids and you just left nice and peacefully. >> It's not It's not a verbal. >> I I understand. >> You don't? Cuz you're not you're talking about not causing problem at school. So, I don't think you do. Do you think that uh car is too hot? I'm sure she turn the air conditioning on. So I can't hear because you mind checking. >> Oh, sure. He's sleep. He sound asleep. Air's up and running. I would hope so. I mean, when she comes crying and I get I can get this back out your house and she didn't know where the kids are at. >> It's not against the law. No, >> it's you. >> Yeah. She didn't know where they're at. She was confused. >> I took them. >> Yeah. I'm glad they got back. Glad everybody was safe that day, though. That was >> She was hysterical when the neighbors came over. I was like, "Oh, >> yeah. >> Yep. >> They did. >> Yep. I was glad they were I was glad I was glad they were safe that day cuz I was like, "Oo, that's not good." If you can't find out here, they're everywhere else. >> I told them they were fine. >> Mhm. >> I get back. >> Mhm. >> But she didn't know. I don't know how she did. She didn't know. She knew I was taking Mhm. Honey, I took them I I took them to Tosquito. >> Listen, >> wait. >> Sorry. You know what I'm talking about. Okay. So So you came because of his school car. >> Yeah. >> But go ahead and get him out of here. Okay. >> Yep. Come over here. Jason, right? >> Hi, Jason. I'm Deputy Blake from Flagger County Sheriff's Office. Um, you kind of have an idea the circumstances and everything, kind of how school was talking to us about some of your behaviors, whether it's driving patterns and whatnot. I just want to do a couple exercises with you just make sure you're okay to drive and make sure that this is >> resolved. Okay. >> Yeah. I was going to say down here I feel like we'd be best. So, let's let's go down here where it's level for you. >> I got flip flops on, too. >> That's fine. That's why I'm picking somewhere more level. And if you don't want to wear the flip-flops, you can do it barefoot, too. >> Uh, maybe like right there. I feel like that looks more level than the rest of it. Just like right here is fine. No, like right here where I was pointing. Yeah, that looks good, right? Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. There you go. All right. Like I said, just doing a couple exercises here just to make sure that you're good to drive. All right. >> Good. >> There we go. >> Conducting. >> All righty. Whatever makes you more comfortable, that's fine. Toes touching, heels touching, hands down by your side. Don't do anything else until I tell you to do so. Okay. Any questions? >> No. No. >> All right. Do you have diabetes? >> No. >> Okay. Have you recently had a TBI or anything? Any concussions, anything like that? >> No. >> Okay. Do you have any physical limitations that would stop you from standing on one leg, walking down a line, or standing >> straight up? >> I don't think so. >> Okay. All right. Do you wear glasses or contacts? >> No, ma'am. Okay. >> Again, you're just going to stand like this until I tell you to do something else. Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you see the tip of my pen? Can you try to open your eyes up a little bit more for me? Okay. Thank you very much. Can you try to open your eyes for me, please? >> Thank you. Just a little bit more. >> Remember not to move your head. Sun's over there. >> I know. >> All right, we're going to do the same thing but up and down. Okay, just keep looking at the tip of it. Don't move your head. All right, just stay standing like that and I'm going to take you to the next one. Okay. All right. The next exercise is going to be the walk and turn. Um, how about here? >> Yeah. Can I go? >> Yeah. Just stand right here. Right here is fine. There's less rocks here. >> You see the line? >> Yeah. >> In this gravel, it's straight enough. >> Sure. Okay. >> You want my feet together? I'm about to tell you what to do. >> So, what I'm going to have you do is I'm going to have you stand on the line with your left foot in front, your right foot behind it, and your hands down by your side. >> Step forward. >> I'm sorry. Yeah, you Yeah, that's fine. >> Okay. Cuz I want to be big. Okay. >> Do you see the way I'm standing? My left foot is placed on the line. My right foot is behind it. My hands are down by my side. Try to make them as parallel as you can. See how See how mine are? And just stand like this until I No, no, no. Stay facing forward. just with your feet just like mine on. I was just doing it to show you. Okay, you're going to stay like this until I tell you to do something else. Any questions so far? I'm sorry. Okay, try to keep your feet the way I was showing you. Once you get to your ninth step, you're going to plant your left foot on the line while taking a series of small steps to turn around. It's going to look something like this. While maintaining your left foot on the line, you're going to continue. 1 2 3. Again, I'm only taking three, but you're going to take nine. >> Okay. >> To the left. >> If your foot get steps off the line, you can just keep going. Continue the exercise. Okay. Any questions so far? Okay, it's going to be the one leg stand. I'm going to demonstrate it for you and I'm going to explain it to you. You're going to stand with your feet together, arms down by your side as you are. You're going to maintain this position till I tell you to do something else. Any questions so far? >> Which foot? >> I I didn't say yet. I was getting to that part. Do you understand so far? To just stay still and not do anything until >> Okay. When I tell you to do so, I want you to raise one leg either one about 6 in off the ground. If you drop your foot or you fall over, just get right back up and just continue. Okay. Do you have any questions? >> No. >> All right. You can start whenever you're ready. >> Okay.
