Motor 5. Copy 51 300 blocks. >> Good morning. I'm officer. What's that? >> No. Makito. So, >> okay. Elaro espapido in zona. Okay. Yeah, you're doing >> you you're doing 30. The speed limit is 15. Okay. Do you have a chauffeur? >> Okay. >> Mhm. Yeah. See, is right there. Yeah. >> Um let's see. Uh Lindsia registration and siguro. Okay, perfecto. Thank you. Uh, let's see here. >> All right. >> Perfecto. Gracias. Okay. Oh. Hey, lady. Okay. Unto. Okay. I got to check your license. >> Okay. All right. So, we're doing stationary enforcement here in front of uh well, across the street from the main entrance to uh Coral Springs Middle School. Uh she's in the right hand lane. Entered the school zone uh doing 30 m an hour. Um pretty much maintained that until she passed by us and I stopped her, but uh we're just checking her um vehicle information, her driver's license, make sure she's valid. So, she's doing 15 miles an hour over the speed limit in the school zone and uh we'll be issuing her a citation today. So, we do get a lot of people that say, "Oh, I didn't realize it was a school zone, but it's like, do you normally drive 30 mph in a 45 mph zone?" Or, "Did you know there was a school zone? You just didn't want to slow down to 15 cuz 15 mph is very slow." But the reason why we have that speed is because there's a lot of children out here moving in and around the school going, you know, uh to the school from uh the park, which is where I was sitting, they uh a lot of the parents park in the park and the kids walk over uh to the school. So, you know, we want to have people driving as slow as possible just in case one of these kids darts out in the road in front of them, they'll be able to stop. Uh because if they're doing 45, that's going to be probably a hard no. But if you're doing 15 like you're supposed to be doing, it should be easy for you to stop right here in Espanol. Okay. >> Yeah. See, you're doing right here. You're doing 30. The speed limit is 15. So this is Yes. See? Yeah. Yeah. Right here. 30 and 15 because of the because asa >> it's 15. Okay. This is information. Okay. >> There you go. >> Okay. >> Good. Oh, it's it's inside here. >> Okay. 74 on the 45 tango 3010 58900 ws eastbound driver roll down your window please sir good morning officer by the rama course police department reason why I stopped you morning 74 and a 45 you have your license rest prove insurance please is there any reason why you have You windshield tinted? I mean, I know the windows are dark. I know. I just bought it. I'm literally selling the car. Like, >> a lot of people say that when I saw them with tinted windows, you know that I just bought the vehicle. When you bought the vehicle, sir? Probably about 6 months ago. >> Yeah. So, it's been a while now. Not like a week ago, a month ago. Yeah. You can't have your front windshield tinted unless you have some medical condition, but then it has to be approved by the medical uh your doctor sealed and then a DMV have to approve it. Here's your registration and insurance and your driver's license. Yeah. So, once you do that, then you're basically you can drive the vehicle. That letter from the DMV is going to assign you your license and a vehicle that has a window. Keep >> my license. Yeah. Insurance could be on your cell phone. That's fine. Okay. And then uh the side mirror, the side windows 28% or higher or 15% or higher in the back? >> You can't find it on your phone? >> No, I'm ask my mother cuz I know she has it on my second. >> All right. Well, just stay put. Okay. Yeah, I'm not going to wait here and just trying to get you on your way. Give me a minute. So, this guy, this car got stopped going 74 and the 45. It's 29 over the speed limit. His front windshield's tinted. So obviously he's not allowed to have [music] that unless he has a medical condition but then approved by the DMV and so forth which he doesn't. Then his side mirrors way dark. I can't even see who's in the back passenger seat. That's why I asked him to roll down his window before I approach him. Tentful. Sorry. Can't find his insurance, not his phone. So, it's his car. So, I don't see how his car and can't find his insurance. He has been stopped here in Springs back in July last year for speeding. Uh 74 is too much. >> All right, sir. I'm only going to issue you one ticket instead of two. Make sure you have next time your insurance card ready on your phone. Take it as a screenshot. Yeah, >> the tickets for the speeding 29 over. It's a $281 ticket. Take it within 30 days. If not, the state will suspend your license. In this pink form, four options are listed. Just choose one of the four. All right. You secure the tent too though cuz each window it's 115 a pop. Okay. So go to whoever you need to do the tint and then take it off. And so in the front over here in the front you can only have it to the AS line. There's an AS line. That's it. Okay. Would you give me a fixing ticket for the tint? >> No, it's only for the speeding. >> I'm giving a warning for your insurance. I have insurance or the tint windows. Okay. But that's only for the speeding for the reason why I stopped you. And then you had the phone number on there called. It's on the pink form. Pink form. >> Yeah. Option number one. Okay. That's why there's four options. Just read through them. Which one? Just choose one within 30 days. If you don't, then the state's going to suspend your license for not paying it or taking care of it. Okay. All right. And it's scan code. So, that's easy. Thank you. Yeah. He's going to have a sample. Cutting over. Tango 32 1050 northbound sawrass sample. What is this? You think it's Michigan? >> I don't know. It's out of out of state tag. I don't even know. >> Out of state tag. Possibly Michigan. 96 in a sec. Finals will be 124th in sample. >> Delaware. >> Nice. >> Delaware. >> Is it? >> Yes. >> Tango 32. Try Delaware. >> How you doing? >> Officer Dino. Call Springs Police Department. Reason why you being stopped? You're going 96 and a 65. Okay. Okay, it's a construction zone back there. Also, you're train in and out of lanes rapidly, changing your uh lanes. You're not using your turn signal. Okay. Also, you are uh >> obstruct the tag. Okay. You cannot have that plate cover on your vehicle. >> You have the registration insurance. >> How do I deal? Cuz it's blocking the state. We don't know what state it is. Just >> put all your windows down for me. Both the windows. >> Yeah. Any weapons in the car? No. >> No. Put all the weapons down. >> Thank you. Can you just get me the registration insurance, please? >> I think I may have it on my phone. Can I show it to you on my >> Yeah, just don't exit the vehicle. >> Wait, stay in the car. >> What year is the vehicle, sir? >> 2007. >> 2007. >> This is it. So, I have So, my father's a dealer. This is a dealer's tag. >> Yeah, it's a dealer's tag. >> You have to tag the >> I got you. Your father's the dealer though, not you, right? >> Yeah. So he's allowed to drive. >> Okay. Do you have the registration? >> Yes. >> You want to go find you? Do your thing. >> This insurance. >> Oh, that's the insurance. >> Okay. That's from the dealer itself. >> Yeah. >> Hold on a minute. Uh yeah, I see the plate on. Okay. You're one of the very few people that actually has those documents that has the list of dealer tags. >> Yeah, it's very rare. But >> because a lot of people like cuz a lot of people that deal most of the time you carry either in Florida that they either have the registration with the insurance in the back of the plate like stuck because it's dealer tag. >> Yeah. >> Or they have like which I only seen it once. This is twice now in my years. Yeah. >> I mean, you mind just turning the car off for one second? All right. 104. Put your hands on the steering wheel, buddy. Take everybody. No weapons in the car, right? Yeah. >> Okay. Put your wallet on the dashboard. Okay. Just keep your hands where we see them. >> Just searching for a weapon. >> Huh? >> Are you just searching for a weapon? >> Is there a weapon in here? >> No. >> So, I'll explain to you in one second. All right. Put your right hand to your head. >> Left hand to me. Step out. Face I just told you to clear, right? Why would you leave a knife on you? >> Oh, sorry. Sorry. >> Step out. Face away from me. Step out. Face away from me. What are you reaching for? >> You're being cool. So, as long as you're cool, you're fine. You have an ID with you? >> Okay. >> I'll explain to you. One sec. What? >> This is not from the speeding part. Just to let you know. >> Reason why you're being detained. Okay. You have an unconfirmed warrant out of Broward County. >> Because a warrant. That's why. >> Unconfirmed warrant. >> Did you get stopped for driving with your license suspended? >> No. >> All right. Well, listen. We'll figure it out. Hey, >> you don't have an idea with you. Come back. But I do my favor. Put your hands on your lap. >> We're going to go We're going to go and confirm it. If it's not true, it's not true. Okay. >> Do you have a license or anything? >> Not a big deal. >> You never been issued one? >> Uh, I haven't lost my license. >> So, it's lost. But you have a license in Florida? >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. >> Okay. It's not suspended or anything like that, right? >> Uh, I'll be with you in one second. I >> Well, hopefully not. So, you can drive the vehicle away. That's why I'm I'm getting you know what I'm saying? >> Most likely I haven't. >> Okay. What's your first name? >> We'll take care of everybody. I you know we detain you. I stop you for the speeding, run your license. They're saying you have an unconfirmed warrant out of BSO. If it's not true, you'll be let go. It'll give you a couple tickets. You'll be on your way. If it is true, you have to take a ride down to BSO main. All right. >> Is that fair? >> I'm just trying to figure out why I would have a warrant. So, I know as much as you know at this time, our dispatch is going to confirm it. If it's not confirmed, you'll be released. If it is confirmed, you're going to have to take a quick ride. It's not the end of the world. A little driving while your life suspended, but unfortunately, I guess you didn't take care of it whenever you got a ticket. >> I did. I Okay. I did get a ticket the other day, but I was just going to call them today literally to try and uh set a court date, but it wasn't it's not past the date to where I should have a warrant. >> It's still within It's still within the time frame. So, I'm just letting you know where I stand. >> I run your name. They say you have a warrant. >> Listen, usually if it's out of BSO, >> it's accurate. >> Anything in the car? I should know about >> nothing. It's probably like a small bag. Probably think I probably got a small bag of weed laying around. >> Are y'all putting him in handcuffs, too? >> Huh? >> Are y'all putting him in handcuffs, too? So due to the fact that your car reeks a weed and I see visible joints, he is allowed to take him out and search the vehicle. He's being detained for now. All right, sir. >> Okay, sir. >> Well, right now we stopped the vehicle because uh pass by is going 96 on the Sessress and 65. Um obviously the dino dino ran his name in on two channel and they said that this guy the driver has a warrant on BSO. So we just trying to confirm it. So now that the vehicle is there with the passenger, figured uh ran a passenger so he can take the vehicle away, you know, that's what we do. Um he didn't show no license, but he gave a name and date of birth and he has a warrant also. So now obviously we have to uh confirm both warrants and see if uh Brower Sheriff uh county wants us to take them or not. If not, then we had to release them and so forth and then provide tickets or whatever we do. If they say go ahead, it's confirmed. Then we have to actually take them um to BSO main jail after after we do the paperwork. So now they're we just waiting for confirm. >> It's right under there. >> Yeah. >> So >> you can sit him down. >> Sit down, sir. >> I'm going to be honest with you, brother. You You both have warrants. Okay. >> Oh, word. >> Yeah, you do. When did when did when did that happen? >> When we get back to the PD, we'll figure all of it out. Right now, dispatch tells us that. We get back there, we'll see the warrant confirmation and everything. >> It's crazy though. I literally got a ticket at the beginning of this month and they didn't tell me my license was suspended. They gave me a ticket and let me on my way. >> So, I believe So, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to I'm going to say that there was a ticket prior than 30 days. That's when a warrant issued, not like something that happened earlier this month. It had to be within 30 days or longer. So it was it was older. I'm telling you. >> The thing though, I haven't gotten anything else that you got a ticket prior to the one. >> No, not well. All right. Not never. I've obviously got a ticket before, but >> yeah, right now since the warrants have been confirmed for both the drivers and the passenger, it's just traffic related warrants. >> Um now, uh obviously we uh search the vehicle, make sure if there's any weapons or any drugs in there. Uh obviously we found some stuff, some drugs. Um, now another officer is going to try to speak with the people who was the occupants. Obviously, the vehicle is going to get towed. Uh, there's nobody to come pick it up. So, now we call the toll company to come and pick it up. So, now we're waiting for the tow truck to come. Driving. You're in and out of lanes. Rapid lane changing. No turn signal. Okay. Um, it's to be set. So, when you see the judge, he'll tell you all about it. All right. Be careful. Your license is valid at this time. They'll let you know. They'll let you know. So, buddy, they'll let you know when they go back to the PD. They're going to get the warrant sheet. They'll let you know when the entry date was for the warrant. >> I can't hear him. >> He as they just got it. >> I So, he'll let you know. I >> We don't know. They just tell us you have a warrant and we go off of it. >> Yeah. >> Appreciate you guys. Yep. Thank you. >> Later, brother. So, in the end, both both of the individuals in the the gray Lexus, both of them had warrants at a BSO. They were both ended up being arrested. The passenger had a misdemeanor amount of marijuana. They're going to give him a civil citation. And I issued two citations, one for 96 and uh 65 and careless driving cuz he was rapidly lane changing, not using his turn signal, and cutting vehicles off. So, he was issued two citations. 93 [music] every 99 tango 32 1050 northbound sawrass and sample How you doing? Thank you. >> Officer Officer Dino Call Springs Police Department. Reason why you're being stopped. You're going 99 and a 65. And also, you were tailgating my vehicle, then tailgating the white Ford in and out of lanes, not using your signal once. Okay, buddy. Is this is this your car? >> Oh, stand by. The reason why this motor is being stopped, he was tailgating my vehicle after he would got on the highway from Atlantic. Tailgating my vehicle, went around me. We had him clocked at 99 mph in a 65 mph zone, went around my vehicle, started tailgating all the other vehicles and in and out of lanes, not using the signal once. So, he will be getting citations for speeding and careless driving. Come in, you are getting two citations. Okay, here's your license. You're going 99 to 65. Okay, that's that's anything over 30 is a mandatory court date. Okay, you are going to get something in the mail. It's right now it's to be set. The judge wants to see you. Okay? You are going to get a court date. You got to look at your mail. Within 1 to two weeks, they're going to send you a court date. Okay? I need your signature right here. Drive carefully. All right. Slow down. Tango 3150 State Road 7 in Turtle Creek. Hey, 92 and a 45. >> I was going 92. >> Yeah, you were. Mhm. I'm officer Charnie with Coral Springs Police. Do you have your license on your registration insurance? Where you heading to right now? >> Yeah. Where you heading to? >> I just got surgery and I just I'm just trying to take my medication and I'm just trying to hurry to pull over. I'm trying to get my daughter to school. >> All right. You got kids in the car, too? Yeah. That excuse if you got to pull over, you know, you got to pull over somewhere off the road. Not not going 92 to stop quicker, get to your destination faster. All right. Thank you. Do you have your insurance? All right. Give me one minute. This is good, by the way. I'll be right back with you. Okay. All right. Speed limit here is 45. I don't understand what he's trying to tell me with surgery trying to get medications in him. He's got to slow it down. It's ridiculous. There's a kid in the front seat, probably like 13 or 14 years old. So, um, he was in a straight line and he was the front vehicle. We don't have enough for reckless driving, but he's going to get the ticket with a mandatory court date and he'll have to go in front of a judge and he can tell the judge why he was going 92 and 45. >> Why you opening your door? >> No, I'm just >> You're just what? >> I'm not going out of there. >> You're what? I'm not doing that. >> What's up? Sorry. >> You want to sit here and what? >> I don't want to sit here and be an [ __ ] >> Yeah, you're not being rude. I'm just I'm writing a ticket. You're getting There's no warnings for this. You have a kid in the car going 92. No. No pleases. All right. my license. >> Give me one second. Just stay seated. Don't get out. I'm issuing a citation for the speed. Like I said, so because you're going 30 over the speed limit. It's a mandatory court appearance. So you have to sign right here above my name. You're not admitting guilt by signing. You're just promising to take care of the citation right here. Right here. I'll take my pen. You'll get a letter in the mail from the county letting you know when your court date is. The fine will be set by the judge as well as the tickets. Do you have any questions on the citation or no? All right. Please slow it down. It's rush hour. You got to slow it down a little bit. A lot of it. Yeah. If you guys are wondering as well, it's 8:43 in the morning. So, rush hour 92 and a 45 with a teenager in the front seat. And you're asking for a warning? No, there's no warnings for that there. How do you think that makes me feel as a police officer where I've seen wrecks where there's kids involved and there's adults and they were driving incredibly fast where to the point where you can't even distinguish what kind of vehicle they were driving because it's so torn up. So, please, if you guys are out there, obey the speed limits. They're out here for a reason. It's not uh a revenue generator. or it's to keep people safe and that's
