On December 9th, 2025, officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence. The caller stated he tried to leave, but when he opened the door, he was shoved into a wall and prevented from walking out. >> No, you're good. >> Yeah, they told us that you have a pocketk knife. >> Oh, yeah. It's my back pocket. >> You mind just taking it out? >> Yeah. >> And then go ahead and put it on top of the truck. >> Uh, that's not my car. It's >> It's fine. Just put it on. >> All right. >> Yeah. No, I know with cops. You should tell them. >> Yeah. Yeah, you're good. So, what's going on? >> Uh, my partner, she's standing there above on the stairs. We've had many, many arguments with pushing and like shoving and just drinking issues. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> And she wouldn't let me leave the house. And I told her multiple times, if you don't let me leave, I'm going to call. I'm going to call. I'm going to call. I'm going to call. Kept not letting me leave, putting her hands on me, shoving me, pushing me away from the door. Finally, she went and came and grabbed me. I grabbed her. I will be honest with you. I had my hand like like this. Not grabbing throat but like this. And after that she got like oh [ __ ] went away. And then I finally called you guys cuz she was telling me don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. And then after I called you guys on the phone that's when she let me leave. >> Of course. That's when they let you leave the house. >> Yeah. Do you have your license on you? >> Yes. I have my wallet. I didn't want to call because this has happened a couple times. >> Mhm. >> And it only happens when there is alcohol involved. >> Normal, >> but she's a little psycho when alcohol is involved >> and she doesn't believe me when I tell her I'm going to call. >> So, my partner's on the way. Um, he's going to be the one taking the the report. >> Okay. >> Um, so he's going to ask you pretty much all the same questions I just asked you. Um, what is her name? >> Adelaide. >> How do you spell that? And her date of birth. >> Um, >> what's a good phone number for you? >> What's her phone number? >> I have it in my phone. If you >> That's fine. >> I don't. >> I'm just I'm just getting all the basic information. >> No, I get you. I don't remember anybody's numbers anymore. >> No, I get you. >> I think that's bad. Honestly, I should have known it. >> I don't even remember the my girl's phone number, and I've been with her for seven years. So, >> seven years and I don't remember. Uh, fire. Like I said, I didn't want to have to like call you all, but she wouldn't let me leave. >> Okay. Do you need any fire rescue or anything like that? Do you believe that she would need fire rescue or anything like that? >> Not at all. >> Okay. Do you Where did she happen to push you? >> Oh, it was just like chest like >> Okay. >> Do you have any marks or bruising or anything like that? >> Nope. >> Is that her right there with the dog? And she just she's drunk. Okay. >> All right. My partner's right there. Just uh talk to him and stay away from the pocket knife. Adelaide, how you doing? >> What >> would you be willing? Can you put the dog back inside? >> I'm taking her out. >> Can you put her back inside? >> No, I'm taking her out for a walk. >> You're detained at this point. Do not walk away. >> Taking her out for a walk. >> You're detained. >> You're detained. Put the dog away. >> She needs to go out. >> I don't know who you are. >> Officer Alexander with the Lantana Police Department. >> Okay. potty. >> All right, take the dog potty and then uh we'll go. All right, come on. We got to go inside. Come on. >> Sorry. Go inside. Come on. Come on. Come on. No, we're going inside. I know you see people. Come on. No. No, someone going like I know. Can you please not follow her? Can you like take like a little bit? >> Well, I have to follow you. You're being detained. >> Yeah, I get it. >> So, just put the dog inside and then stay out. >> I need to stay outside. Okay. >> Yep. >> Come on. Come on. Hey, sit. I know. I will come right back. >> What the [ __ ] >> You're going to go in here. >> What am I doing? What am I doing? I AM NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG. WHAT AM I DOING? What am I doing? >> What am I doing wrong? What am I doing? What am I doing wrong? Oh my god. What am I doing wrong? What am I doing wrong? What am I going to call this? >> Stop. >> No. Stop resisting. >> What am I resisting? What am I doing wrong? What am I going to cause this for? What am I >> not listening when I talk? >> What do I What do I do? >> Austin. Austin. Austin. Austin. What am I doing wrong? >> What am I doing wrong? >> What am I in there for? >> What am I doing? What am I? What am I What am I under arrest for? >> What am I >> at this point? Resisting. >> What am I under arrest for? >> Not underest. >> What am I doing? >> Just calm down. >> Just calm down. >> What am I doing? >> Resisting. You're not listening. >> I'm sorry I didn't listen. What am I What am I What did I do? >> You got >> Yep. Now I >> just calm down. What did I do? You didn't listen when I told you to step outside. Sorry, I didn't listen. >> I informed you that you were being detained and you still you hold up. Listen, >> you proceeded to push me about three times. All right? So, technically that could be battery on law enforcement. Okay? You understand that's a felony. Correct? I'm not trying to go down that route. All I tried to do was have you listen. I told you to step outside. You didn't listen. That's a lawful command for you to step outside. you obstructed. We're going to figure out what's going on real quick and then uh we'll figure all that out. I don't know why you didn't just listen. >> I I'm upset. >> I understand. But why would I have to slam you to the ground? >> Uh you guys are really strong men and so it doesn't m I I I guess I shouldn't have but I >> You guys were trying to come in the apartment and I was like >> Well, no. I told you to put the dog away and come outside. That's what I was doing. I What I was trying to do was the dog was inside. >> I was trying to put the dog away and then come out and go to you guys and you guys could arrest me. >> You were fully trying to close the door. >> I was trying to close the door cuz I didn't want the dog to attack him cuz I didn't want you guys to shoot the dog. >> I'm not trying to shoot the dog. >> Well, I see a lot of people. I don't want you guys to shoot the dog a lot. >> I care I care for animals very much. Question for you. Do you need any medical assistance at this point? >> Okay. Oh, >> what's going on with you and your girlfriend? >> I just want her to leave the house. >> Okay. >> And she's just drunk. She's not like this. She's just drunk. >> Okay. >> Promise. She's scared. >> If you haven't noticed, she's a trans woman. She's scared of the police. Okay. >> All right. Well, we're not here to hurt her. >> No, I know. I know. But I'm just saying it's it's the it's the alcohol and she's scared. >> Okay. She punch you, kick you? >> No, there was no punching her. It was just she wouldn't let me leave and I called the non-emergency number so that I could have someone to help me leave. That was it. >> Okay. >> And she's just scared. >> Okay. You got your ID on you? >> Yes, sir. >> I just didn't want it to escalate to where people did get bruises and stuff, you know, like she wouldn't let me leave the house. I didn't want it to escalate. Thank you guys for being like good with the dogs and stuff. I've just I've >> No problem. >> I've seen some bad stuff with animals and cops. So >> yeah. Well, I mean >> she's just a puppy. >> That's fine. All right. H What's going on with you? >> Her name's Officer Harvey, too. >> Hi. What's going on? >> Um, I don't know. What do you like want to know? >> I had a boyfriend called. All right. So, y'all are in an argument. What are you arguing about? >> Um, he was just really angry and like we were trying to like I I I don't even know what the argument was about. He just wanted me to like he didn't want to talk. Like he was like, "No, like you're done. You don't need to talk." >> I don't even know what it was. I don't I don't know what caused this. >> I don't know what caused this. >> All right. Um, did he become physical, violent with you, punch you, kick you? >> No, he was not physical at all. >> All right. All right. So, I have a 3822. Then whatever you have, >> you do you. >> I'm I'm >> I got resistant at this point. So, that's it. I still got a lot of use of force, but I don't care. >> I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to I wasn't trying to resist. I wasn't trying to resist. I'm sorry. >> I get you. So, >> let's notify the sergeant. All right. And um [clears throat] resistance in that resistance, but >> let's just notify the boss. All right. >> Did he tell you anything? He did tell you anything different >> pushing shoving. That's why >> he was like it wasn't like an act of violence or anything of that nature. It was just during the argument. >> Yeah. >> So, and then uh refusing to to let him leave and then pushed him up against the wall. So, that's why they were detained for for that reason. just in case we're >> okay. >> So, we have it's uh Ad How do you say your first name? >> Adelaide. Addie. You can call me Addie. >> Addie. >> I know. Um you're you're a fiance. >> Fiance. Yeah. >> Uh you're going through transition on your on your ID. Is it male, female? >> Yeah. Yeah. Male or female? Male or female? Yes. >> No, I know. But on your ID, what is it classified as? >> My ID is male, but most of it like [ __ ] is >> No, I'm just asking what's on your ID. >> A male or female? >> You're just male. >> My ID is male. Yes. >> Yes, that's what I was asking. Thank you. >> And I'm not being judgmental at all. I'm gay myself. I've been married. I've been married. >> That's not you. >> I've been married to my husband for 17 years. So, >> I'm not I'm not judging. I It's all It's It's all the paperwork. >> That's it. That's exactly >> I'm so upset. >> What did I do? Why? What? What did I Can I ask what I did to like be in the handcuffs? >> Well, I I don't know. When I was walking up here, my partner was trying to give you instructions to comply. And >> I just wanted to put the I wanted to put the dog away and close the door and then come back out. But you just putting the dogs in the house and then closing the door would have been sufficed. Would it would it not? >> He wouldn't let me put the dogs away. >> No, I think he would have. I don't think he had a problem with you putting >> No, he tracked me out of the house. >> Well, because if you were trying to close the door on him instead of just putting your dogs in. >> That's what I was trying to say. I'm going to put the dogs away and I'm come back outside. And he said, "No, you're going to come out." It's like I I just wanted to put the dogs away cuz I didn't want the dogs to get I didn't want my dog to get shot. I don't want my dogs to get hurt. I want to put the dogs away. >> We're not I know people. >> You know what? Yeah, but you know what happens a lot of times. >> No, you just see what a lot of videos are streaming on video, which that's what people >> Huh. >> I know what happens with an aggressive dog coming out. So, I just wanted to like put the dog away and I wasn't come back. I wasn't trying to like escape from you guys. >> No one was saying that. But you just putting the dogs in the house and closing the door. >> Am I under arrest? Yeah, it's depending what officer Alexander decides. So, I'm not charging anymore. >> Why am I Why am I in cuffs? >> Well, for you know, >> he says >> I want to know from you. >> He said resisting like I said. >> Okay. Well, that's a great thing. If I was resisting, >> I'm not. >> Okay. So, why am I now? But what's the whole reason? I literally was in my apartment. Why am I in handcuffs right now? You're in handcuffs because he says you resisted him. >> Stop arguing. >> Austin, shut the up. >> Okay, >> I was not resisting arrest. >> I was just trying to put my dogs away so you guys don't shoot them. >> Promise you we won't we're not we're not do that to you. >> I know you guys won't. I but I know how wrong it can how quickly it can go wrong. It >> can I and a dog barking how quickly it can go wrong. So I just wanted them to get away cuz I know my dogs to get shot. >> Well, your dogs are okay. Okay. >> Well, now that I know they're okay. >> Your dogs are fine. Everybody's fine. Everybody's okay. >> Yeah, I know. I I just wanted to hear that. >> I Whatever happens happens. I'm sorry. I'm not I'm not trying to resist. I'm sorry. >> Okay. I'm just I'm confused. I'm really upset. I'm really frustrated. I don't know what's going on. [snorts] >> All right. So, >> okay. Do you understand why? >> Why? Cuz I tried to take my dogs. I couldn't put my dogs away. >> Don't listen to lawful commands and >> because I didn't want my dogs to get shot. >> Okay. Well, I wasn't going to shoot your dogs. Let's go. We're going to jail. Step up for me. >> Okay. >> Here's your shoes. >> Is these your shoes? >> No, they are. They're my flip offs. I don't You guys are You guys aren't going to take them. It's whatever. >> No, they're going to jail. >> No, it's whatever. You guys take me to jail at You don't want shoes on. >> I You guys aren't going to take them. Can I please >> We are going to take them. >> Sorry. Can I I did not mean to resist. >> One step at a time. I know. I'm good. >> Supplement and then a PC. PC. >> Oh, you're going to do a supplement. >> No, no, I'm doing the initial. >> Yeah. Yeah. I was going to do a supplement to the case number. My PC. >> Here's our section. Go to jail. The >> sergeant wanted to make sure that you had no additional. >> You sent me to jail. All right. Stand right here for me. Okay. >> Biological male or female? >> I'm biological male. >> Okay. Go ahead and spread your legs for me and lean up against the car. There you go. You have anything on you? >> No. Nothing. And nothing. There's nothing on me. >> There's nothing on me. >> I'm just making sure that you cuz you have to go on the back of my car. >> There's no There's no objects on me. the necklace. >> Um, here, >> lean back. You can lean back. This won't Can it stay on me or can you >> I can turn it over to him if you like. >> Yes, please bring it over to him. >> Okay. >> I don't want it to get tangled in your hair. >> Please bring it to him. >> I am. I am. >> Can Can I have a second to say something to him? Like, >> I'm not going to be angry. >> You're being aggressive towards him. You like >> I will Can I Can I Can I say something to him non-aggressive? >> What would you like me to tell him? >> Can I say something just like >> Go ahead and take a seat. >> I'm sorry. No. Oh, you you want me to tell this? No. Take a seat. Watch your head. >> And then lean back for me as far as you can so I can put your seat belt on. So you you understand what's going on? >> I watched she tried to put the dogs in the crate and the crate is in the back of the house. So she was trying to close the door. >> All right. I didn't see >> I saw it. >> Okay. She's going to have their day in court. Okay. She's intoxicated. All right. She's going to county jail just to be booked. All right. >> She's going to be with the dudes. She's going to be >> We will relay. What? >> It's going to be unsafe for her. >> No, I used to work corrections. There is definitely procedures for all that. She'll be fine. All right. She'll be able to call you and everything. Okay. [snorts] >> I didn't want She wouldn't let me leave. >> Okay. >> I I didn't want it to to escalate. >> Well, I you know, alcohol does this. All right. So, you're more than welcome to go back to your house and everything and she'll be able to reach you and stuff. Okay. >> Wait, when did she get out? >> So, she could get be released on bond maybe if there is a bond. Uh or she has to wait till first appearance and see the judge in the morning, which is about 7 8 hours. >> So, in the morning, >> she'll see the judge first thing in the morning. Then the judge will review the PC and tell her the stipulations of release and stuff. Okay. I shouldn't have called. >> Do you need anything else from this? >> No, I really just I just shouldn't have called. >> Here is uh the necklace from him. Okay. You have any questions? >> From her. Sorry. >> You guys are going to put her with the other [ __ ] You're going to put her with the dude. >> You just misgendered her. >> She own her ID. It says male. >> I've been saying she all night. >> I just asked if she was biological male. >> I don't give a >> Okay. >> I've been saying she all night, mother. >> All right. I do not. and Charlie one I'll be 53 with one male 65 starting. So, when I go to jail, what's my uh what's my uh uh like you know >> what's your what >> like what am I going to be uh like what's my um like I don't know like hold on that's a like what's my like uh battery like what's my picture for like what am I going to be on for >> just resisting without violence it's a misdemeanor the first degree >> I really wasn't trying to resist I just didn't want my dogs to get shot No, I understand. But >> I'm sorry. I was >> You got to You got to realize the dogs were already inside. I asked you to step out. >> They were angry. They were yelling and so I was I I know. I was just I did not want to I'm sorry. >> No, I get you. Trust me, I I accept your apology. That's the last thing I want to do is have to take somebody to the ground. Okay. The last thing I want to have to do is arrest somebody. So, it was not on my checklist for the night. But >> and I'm sure that's just >> you could you could have let it go, but >> I know I know how it goes. >> No, actually the the victim to resisting without violence is is society. So >> I wasn't resisting you guys. I was just trying to not get my dogs to get shot. >> You weren't resisting by pushing me in the chest. >> I didn't mean to push you in the chest. And I'm so sorry that I pushed you guys away. That is I I I I've never interacted with cops like that. And I'm sorry that I pushed you. Like that was like like I I just all my all my knowledge of cops is knowing that sometimes when the dogs get out >> that it it it get it goes one to 100 real quick. >> No, I get you. I get you. >> And I just didn't want I didn't I didn't want them to to get out. >> And I shouldn't have not put my hands on your chest. And I'm sorry. >> It's okay. Trust me. I accept your apology. Now I'm going to jail. Jesus. >> You'll be out tomorrow. You'll be out tomorrow morning. >> You know I'm going to jail as a man. >> That's something you'll have a bond. So pretty much as soon as you get booked. >> Dude, it's a lot of money and a lot of [ __ ] And it's a lot of like things on your knee. It was It's It's a lot on your knee. All I did was push my hands on your chest. I'm sorry. You could have just not given it a [ __ ] >> dude. Are you sure you can't just give me up? Please. >> What did you say? >> Can you please just not just give me a chance? Unfortunately, I'm not going to go against what my supervisor wants. >> Everything like that, but >> inspection's done everything. So, >> okay. >> You're live already, >> huh? >> You're alive already? >> Yeah. >> All right. I'm just going to put my gun away. Yeah. >> Hello. >> How you doing? >> Terrible. How are you doing? Good night. >> No, >> casual night. I hope >> any night I'm work is not a good night without you know anything. >> All right. He's going to he's going to take your seatelt off and then I'm going to have you step out. We're going to go in the cell. Okay. >> And then I'll take the handcuffs off you. >> Yep. >> And then I'll take the handcuffs off of you. Just get comfortable. I have to write up some paperwork and then we'll uh we'll be heading. It shouldn't be too long. Um, and then uh come this way. Yep. We'll we'll get you booked and then they'll set a bond and then uh you only have to pay 10% scent if you have a bondsman. >> If not, >> it's going to be the first one on your left. >> First one. Okay. >> And then stand up against the wall directly on your left. Great. That one. Once I take one of the handcuffs off, go ahead and put your arm on the uh on the wall for me. All right. and that hand on the wall. All right, you can take a seat right there. Like I said, I'm just going to complete paperwork and then we'll go out there. All right, if you have any questions, I'll I'll answer them. All right, >> you take your piercings off. >> As long as I put my hand on your chest. >> No, no, no, no. It's not only that, but that's one of the reasons. Are you supposed to start taking your piercings off? >> I can't take my piercings off. They're going to close up. >> They're going to take them off at the jail. The I didn't do anything. >> Can you just take the [ __ ] >> What did I do? >> What did I do? >> Hey, just take a [ __ ] >> The [ __ ] did I do? >> This is [ __ ] You got a tongue piercing right here? No. Can you open your mouth? >> Very good. Beautiful. Draw one cell one, please. >> And then just face it. Face it. >> Yeah, just face it. >> Why am I >> one second? >> Yeah. >> So, we we however is comfortable for you. >> Which way do you want it? I I don't I don't know what a way is. Just keep >> like this right there. >> Like it's not like a thing. >> One second. One second. Let me lock it real quick and then I'll explain it to you. All right. >> I'm so frustrated. >> No, I get you protect my dog. >> You can face my fully understand. Um, so Mirandaites are for when we're going to conduct questioning to people. At this point, I don't need to question you because you resisted me in person. Okay? Mirandaites are more of when things happen where we're not present and then we ask you questions so you don't incriminate yourself. I don't need you to incriminate yourself. My body can't observe it all. I observed it all. My partner observed it all. Okay? You understand? >> Was the incrimination just that like I Okay. >> Would you What was your question? Go ahead. >> No, it's fine. Honestly, everything is what it is. >> Well, the good thing is that it's just a misdemeanor. Okay. It's not a felony. I'm not charging you with battery on LEO for pushing you or anything like that. I consider that more of a a resisting tactic of what you did, not as you trying to harm me. >> You right >> here. Stand right there. I get it. You were just trying to make sure that your dogs weren't harmed or anything like that. And the last thing I want to do is harm your dogs. Okay, go ahead and take a seat. >> Other it just that like like it it it takes 2 seconds for like the wrong thing to happen. >> No, of course. Of course. That's why we have that's why I asked you to step out. So, um >> I'm sorry. >> No, you're good. You're good. And and the good thing is that you you understand that partially what you did was wrong. >> I did. >> And I'm sorry. I do not I'm so sorry, but my >> No, I'm good. And I'm gonna tell you right now, that's going to go a long way with the judge, okay? You taking accountability for your actions, expressing how you know you were wrong and stuff like that. So, the reason we don't allow people to go back inside is because you could have gone inside and grabbed a gun. I have no idea what's on the other side of that door. You get what I'm saying? Knife, gun, whatever it may be. You could you could walk. >> I've never I've never had an interaction with that. So, you're right. I I get it. I'm sorry. >> And I don't think you're going to harm me. I don't think you intended to harm me at all. It's just we have to take precautions so that we're safe and I can go home at the end of the day. >> Where am I going right now? >> We're going to go to the Palm Beach County Jail. It's on Gun Club. All right. So, what's going to happen is they're going to set your bond cuz it's a misdemeanor. So, you don't From what I know, you don't have to see a judge to get a bond. Um, so once you're done with booking and everything like that, give it a few hours. You know, your your boyfriend's or husband, whatever he is to you. Um, do you know his number by heart? Uh, >> I don't know his number by heart. Do you want me to write it down for you? >> It's in my >> So that way you can call him whenever uh you get in. >> I don't know know his number by heart. It's on my phone. Like I >> Well, I have his number is what I'm trying to tell you. >> What? You have it? Yeah. >> Yes. Yes. >> Where am I going? What am I doing right now for the next process? >> Uh you're going to go get booked at the Palm Beach County Jail and then uh and then you'll you'll either get bonded or you have to see a judge in the morning. Okay. What I'll do is I'll write it down and then uh once we get up there I'll hand it to you. Just put it in your pocket. Okay. >> Like bond sometime tonight or like >> you you could bond within 3 to 4 hours, 5 hours. So you don't have to sit there all day. And then of course once you go see the judge, they go over they go over my PC, my probable cause affidavit. They'll read it. They'll decide if they want to let you go and what the [music] cost will be and all that stuff. Okay. >> I'm sorry for any frustration that cost you. >> No, you're good. You're good. The subject was taken into custody and booked on a charge of resisting an officer without violence. At this time, it's unclear how the case was resolved as no further court information appears to be available. [music] Arby's in the static under red blue lights [music] on the highway.
