hi welcome to what's on the truck Tuesdays I'm battalion chief nyer today we're going to talk about the SS unit and Scott connect monitor that is on my Battalion [Music] truck all of our air packs come with this Scott SS unit it integrates into the Scott connect monitor which is on my Battalion truck when a firefighter turns their air pack on it shows us some information here we have the Pack ID which says Battalion 80 it tells me how long the pack has been on the current air level and we have these three things right here if a firefighter is in trouble and they activate their pass device it immediately lets me know it lets me know that this person on this pack is having a problem if I see deteriorating conditions that are inside a building I can pick who I want just the ones that are operating say in the area I can tell them to evacuate by sending them a signal you got the running man right here the airpad
