on August 12th 2024 police officers responded to a residence following a report of an Amazon driver being blocked in by a resident with his car upon arrival she recounted that she was delivering a package when the man began yelling at her for using his parking space despite ignoring him and proceeding to deliver the package upon her return the man's wife emerged from their residence and confronted the driver in the parking lot getting in her face the Amazon driver started recording the interaction capturing the wife moving closer to her and then knocking her phone out of her hand here's what happened to throw my phone out of my hand did she touch you yeah she did she pushed me and then she tried to snap like slam my phone out of my hand grab my hand the blonde lady the blonde lady he's the one that's blocking this is they said this is private park I'm just trying K the lady he in my house she she this lady there's no numbers on Park I just parked and went it was like a literally 2 minute delivery by the time I came out when I was walking in he was yelling and screaming at me but I kept delivering and then when I came out he was Park like this and package right I understand this is my parking and Amazon just generally Le right I don't care can say pleas I'll be right back in 1 minute she just look at me and walk away she has to show some respect I live here for 10 years okay and just like you have a job to do how everybody else sir I deliver pizzas you know what I do please I'll be right back one say you know I try to do my you I know how this works let's go talk to the other lady but she she doesn't have any respect that's why I decided to move my car or uh settle okay um so she put hands on you yes she did okay you want her yes I want to press charges cuz she she I was just standing here I said okay I was trying to describe the car to the 911 operator she came up and she's like get in your car get in your car get in your car and I'm like can you bet that's when I got my phone and I'm okay let me record you and then when I put the phone up she's like no no no I have it on the camera know you you we too close I have it on the camera you she came up to me I didn't come up to her my man record everything excent ex why you walk away when I my you just walk away I'll talk to you out there we'll get more she she video but she didn't touch her said she was she was too close she said she I'll over I'll talk to you are you oh no sir please she is I saw the video I know you you're not so hot you're not a hote head anymore are you I will the car can you move the car pleas where's the keys okay can you go get the car key please and then uh you you park right here that's my Park my Park hey is your camera on I forgot to click on I forgot to cck you but she didn't I mean they let me ask you let me ask let me ask you a question right cuz the entire time you want to talk over me so I'm going to talk over you right if you're holding your phone I come and I hit your phone are you going to be upset it's it's a yes or no question are you going to be upset it's can I hit you no but she a she her if you're holding if you're holding again I don't need talk move your car yes I will move your car I'm trying to explain you she was she was very close to her I've tried to explain was pretty much right move your car because you can't prevent somebody from leaving that's called false imprisonment that's another charge you want move your car and then we can talk okay be right give me like a man she can walk away she didn't care that I watch waai okay so okay don't touch me don't Don't me I just want to make sure I parked I went around there well he was standing right there when I parked he saw me backing into the spot he could have got out and said hey could you not park there I'm going to park there I would have parked over there but I parked right here cuz we're supposed to back in and it's easier for me to do this way and then go out when I went it was like 30 seconds I went around there came back when I was walking there he was like I don't give a [ __ ] is your Amazon you need to move this is my parking spot so I kept going cuz I'm not going to engage that's just going to make it worse so I went there I come back out and he was parked there he said I'm not going to I don't a you're going to stay here you're going to be stuck here and then I said okay well I'm just going to call 911 and I called 911 called y'all and then he said well I'll move when the police come and then the operator told me to sit in the car I called my supervisor let him know if he said he was on his way out here and when I was trying to describe the car to the 911 operator the lady she came she was inside trying to make him I thought she was trying to make him calm down but I guess she was just ring them up cuz she came out and I was standing like I was standing right over here right here and she came up to me and she's like oh no you need to get in your car and she like started pressing her chest up and get spin I'm like can you like back up cuz I I don't I just started this job this is my second day all it's not a good way to start exactly got job yeah like I don't want to I don't want to get red up and that's why I'm like I'm shaky and I'm about to cry cuz I really wanted to put my hands on a lady but that's not going to S I don't want to go to jail I don't want to lose my job so no no I totally get it I mean it's it's a good thing I mean you have this honestly a big it's big everyone loves I love my own you have a driver's license with you yeah um I'll send her that and I'll see I'll get her the uh get the video and I do want to confirm you do wish [Applause] yeah all right ma'am can you walk me through what happened I but it was Engish so I I was l my husband from the home okay okay and just uh see that this girl just leave the car in the party okay as party right so then she was very uhhuh okay she was very old she just she just was like do like that okay and then yes I don't should go out okay but she was taking me like doing stuff like stuff like he I want police so I just go out and say don't take picture hey you are it's not your you shouldn't be here right and she just like this I just was like this and she was you know people know like like this right no I understand okay very close from my face right okay so I just I didn't say nothing Eng like like go away so you didn't hit her no I didn't touch her because the video the video the the the video that she has I touch I touch the camera because she feel stay very close to my my face and then start camera talking talking the video right so I I touch this this okay so so the the problem the problem is video she has shows that you hit her right I understand that it's a parking space right but I understand it's a parking space but the thing is it's not worth hitting somebody else it's just simpler just a p like how now we're here we could have mediate and Amazon everyone knows Amazon's there for a few minutes they deliver whatever they got to deliver and they leave right so that's kind of the that's kind of the discrepancy we're at because the issue is the video she has is more justifying than what you guys have right and he had her blocked in and that's another issue you can't force somebody to stay somewhere and prevent somebody from leaving right that's that's that itself issue she was B close to my my face right but you you came out and engaged her she didn't come into your house right and that's the issue that's at hand okay um he's your husband yes okay all right thanks you canor how do you how do you spell your yes thank you what's your first name a a n g no a mhm a g a g n mhm e and I was pretty sure 100% I swear to God and then she decided to to par him to decide to park him and I said no no no and and and she didn't care she just look at me and not a I'm telling the Tru I'm not lying I don't need to lie and walk away that's why I got I got pissed I like what what I said I'm telling you you know at least say something what that's why I decided to or make our of course not forever just for for a few minutes try to to show you know that she has to show some respect you know I mean that that's that's my that's my intention honestly and then my wife came I don't know why from no say you should stay away whatever and they were kind of arguing too together you know too close and but what you saw was nothing I'm telling you the truth she just I'm telling you the truth it's no right but I'm saying you still can't do that you know the f i i that's why I was upset I said hey you need to walk away this none of these are numbered right no this is my this is my only spot and I have I have two cars right but it's not assigned is it assigned yeah I still like they have a number there I I think so yeah I don't think they have any numbers no numbers no numbers not anymore they use I I don't pay attention but2 because I 102 so all this because of a spot right not you have no idea why a mistake I think so it's not personal right it's business but the thing is like you know as you wouldn't want somebody touching you you wouldn't somebody want touching your wife that's probably Somebody's Daughter they wouldn't want somebody touching themm over a parking space yeah but it was not B see the phone nothing on the face nothing in I tell you what I saw yeah so do would you like she has jewelry on her right we can either take that off or I can let you take that off and you can keep it right cuz she has to go to county jail today no but really for for so she has to go to county jail so she she's wearing jewelry so you can either take the jewelry with her you can either take the jewelry with you or I'll take it with me to the county so it's up to you I'm giving you an opportunity to do that so she's going to ja no matter what 100% 100% he's not even if she says no whatever I've already made she says no it's totally up to her can I right please oh well oh away that's a vitim can I talk to you in front of you to say please okay this is not this is not she was too close she was she was trying to walk away she was my wife was there that's why she said hey you know that's that's perfectly normal a reaction that all all human beings have you know if you you someone approach to you to close don't you think but she didn't hit her she didn't she's not aggressive well obviously there's an issue and you have an issue with parking right in front of her car that's actually a crime so if I if I say this is my seat this is this is my parking but but I was telling here I was I I I I was behind her sir I told her hey that's my that's my parking spot she didn't care she just woke away how do you feel if someone do the same you that happens every single day happens all the time but what you did is not a crime what you did is really yes I have to park I I I have to park my car I there you could have park there that's not my parking and then she's not staying here made a bad choice yourself not here to argue I respect your point of view I don't think the same you I don't respect because if I if I'm hey there were another two another two parking spots available why choose mine I I told hering to I know but I told her hey that's mine two wrong make it right then you you think it's okay to park a car and block someone in do you think he right tell you that's my you can you par that she care she just walk away [Applause] [Applause] thanks for coming down I don't know what to do I she to I don't know what to so basically after from here it's a misdemeanor she gets a coordinate she may she probably most likely going to be released today today yes most likely so no no B whatever sometimes they have a bond sometimes they don't it's something you have to check with the jail right but she has a Mis for dat which is within 30 days of today 30 days days so the odds are should be released in a couple hours but it's all the way downtown at gun so what what can I do now I mean you have to wait till she gets processed and then see if she has a bond which she should she be pretty low in my opinion and then you have to go through b Bond man that's the only way yes and what about time service when you when you spend certain time oh no no that's that's not app find that no no she just got to go in get fingerprinted take a picture and then most likely she'll get give a date and then go so what I would do is and a take couple hours but you're going to have to go down downtown to the gun club and figure out if she has a bond there's a bond build um he opening 24 hours yes they are actually there's one right right next to the right next to the jail actually um and we pay the bond you have to just check the the jail and see what her bond is but sometimes they let them off on o which just means all right see you later have a today and they just leave with no bond they just walk out up but literally gun clubs here and then Military Trail on our military is no it's Congress like that's where the closest one is there probably more around but that's the closest one but considering it's 3 probably 8:00 tonight should be all by8 but with bail with with uh maybe well maybe not no they don't don't they usually don't um put no bond on it cuz this is not a um a felony so most likely she'll have a bond if if no bond go they I don't think don't quot me I don't think they're going to hold there's no reason there's no reason to unless she has history somewhere else if she has but more than likely there'll be a bond or no bond just walk out the only thing that I is [ __ ] up is that we're doing our you know immigration is preparing that's yeah I got it that's that's the only thing WR time and and again just because she got arrested doesn't mean she's convicted no I know but but but but still doesn't look good no it doesn't look good but there's a difference in being arrested and charged yeah of course so it's something so this is what arrest it's arrest it's a misdemeanor Miss felony and then this but that's what that's what she wanted I mean that's what she wanted I been battery is UN unwanted touch or strike it could be a fingertip and it could be a full on punch it doesn't matter it doesn't differentiate you know I have a question because I never involved in these kind of things but he said you know come to me like trying to you know like what did I do just walk away and call the cops I mean I mean so I cannot not even say even if he started first I I mean all is all depending upon what happens when this kid was was well whatever yeah I know you told me already but just she just SP her cell phone because I was there watching yeah and I say hey please please they walk away I mean I didn't expect that was some you know something big I mean but in the future just because it's a parking space they're only there for a couple of minutes do not walk anyone in say do you know how many times I wait for five 6 7 minutes minutes and this time if I got upset is because I told her hey that's my parking and she knew and she didn't care that's why I got upset she just walk away said that's my parking spot you know that's why I got upset I know but I know order from Amazon all the time yeah problem is though you made a bad choice too can't block someone in no matter how right or wrong it is and I do a bad choice but I'm telling you why I did it because I get it I caring you know that's no I get it trust me I understand what you're saying I'm not I'm not a stupid you I'm not like that the problem is it's it's it's borderline entament which is a CME if she's not free to leave and she can't leave on her own because you pin her in you can go to jail all right let good to good can you just grab her the mar Ro yes and then I'm going to go to this way yep so basically very minor I mean essentially they're going to reach out to her again and she's going to all have the say and she's going to decide to prosecute any further um but that's going to be up to her to decide okay is not there's nothing you can do you can't convince her not to prosecute cuz unfortunately that's going to be a crime preventing somebody from leaving is technically a crime she's not that's not her issue her issu is with being touched so that's the issue right she's not pushing that she's not pushing you preventing her from leaving that you you don't you don't want to get into that because it's a whole different ball game okay no I know I I I understand what you're saying but the thing is at the end of the day right it's a parking space and it's easier I know but if I'm status is and they'll be able to tell you if she's getting released if she has a bond or not so they'll be able to tell you huh ba it's a Mis meaner it's probably going to end up in bail I can't say because I'm not the judge right but it's a very minor offense right it's just with these circumstances if they decide to prosecute as the victim unfortunately uh we we have to abide by that okay transport you to the uh to the county Joe so we're just going to be here for about half an hour okay okay um it's a misdemeanor which in the state it's very minor okay it's one of the lowest level offenses that there is um just unfortunately I can't because she wish to prosecute uh we have to follow through with that okay um I'm going to put in everything you told me the same the same way she told me and uh and then you'll see a judge tomorrow at first appearance you're there's a good chance you'll probably get bail right which is just a fee and then um your hband can probably pick you up so I'll give you his phone number you you will have a phone inside that you can use to call him right and uh let him know about kind of what's going on but it's probably going to be until tomorrow I doubt they have anything at night okay okay but I want to ask you you mean tomorrow I I will see judge and and then is yeah so tomorrow tomorrow you see the judge basically the the way it works is the judge basically reviews everything um and they determine like if you're super dangerous person and you shouldn't be let go or you're not that dangerous as a person and it's okay to let you go in a sense does that make sense so like I said this is one of the lowest level crimes that there is in the State of Florida um it's a very basic misdemeanor so you'll just see the judge in the morning and they'll let you know you know are they going to give you bail and they're going to release you let this bail ba bail is basically like a fee that you pay to get out all right and usually what they do is they'll give you a court date so they'll say um hey you're going to be released it's going to cost this amount to be released but you have to show back up for court at this Daye okay if you don't pay the bail then you basically sit there until the court date generally for these the the bail is very minor or little I mean I I don't know where your financial circumstances are um but it'll just be in the morning when you probably see the judge okay okay then I can call my husband and then when I can call my husband after this yeah when we get there um there's going to be a booking process so they're B they're going to take your fingerprints your photo the the whole nine um once they put you in a location there's generally a phone there that you can use and I'll give you the phone number for him okay okay thank you she was taken into custody and charged with battery she was later released on a $1,000 Bond and her case is ongoing with a court appearance scheduled for October what's
