On July 9th, 2025 deputies responded to a Dunkin' Donuts after a female called claiming an employee had spit in her food. Employees told her to leave the business, but she refused. Here are the events as they unfolded. We're not going to check it out. I'll tell you that right now. It won't get checked out. I mean, how bad is that work? It doesn't. Doesn't work. It's a sandwich. Yeah, we we don't do anything with that. We won't do like any DNA or anything like that. That's the problem. Because it's on food. I've heard about that. Maybe a drink? No. No. They won't do anything with that. Yeah, what you see on TV is not what happens in real life, just so you know. Like with like the crime scene stuff and all that. Yeah, we don't do all that. We have to have like You would have to die for us to come back and do that, basically. Like we would do an autopsy you know, on you and then find out where it might come from. But like yeah, this We would write a report, it's going to go nowhere. I would suggest it's not coming here anymore. >> Yeah, don't come in here. And they have no issue with that, but just try not to keep coming back here then if you feel like there's somebody in your food, just leave it up here. Can I at least make a report still? Huh? For what though? What's the report going to do? What is that going to accomplish? I just need it for the future. For what future? So you can go to another Dunkin' Donuts and do this? >> No, I'm going to report them for spitting in my food. How? Can you prove it? No, but they have cameras. Again, I'm just trying to tell you like we can write a report, it's just going nowhere. That's the thing. >> I know, but they have cameras and it's it's I'm pretty sure it's illegal, so there has to be a way to prove it. >> Okay, well we'll watch the camera. Let's see if we can watch the camera first. If there's nothing there, then you're good to go, okay? Fair enough? Okay. Sounds good. Good. How are you? Who's the manager? I'm the person in charge. Okay. Do you have any video where they make the food and all that? Sure, I have Can we review it real quick? Sure, I can check it in a second. We'll do that. Do you know her? Uh no, but I've had so many so many problems with All right. She feels that your your employees are spitting in her food, so >> one to spit the food in the food? Yeah, I know. So I I want to see the I would like to see the video. I have I have a problem with this customer since this is so long ago. Almost every single day. >> what? I like to I like to be able to have the facts, that way I can throw it back at her and say, "Hey, That's all. Yeah, that's all I'm just going to do. I need I need the access to the office. Yeah. Just want to see the video. Show the video, please. Show the video, please. Yeah, we would love to see it and we're good. Okay, perfect. We'll just hang out here. [Music] She's been here all morning? All morning. Okay. Did she pay for that sandwich? Ask him the customer for the sandwich. I don't care for the people who get out of here. Right. Did you guys want her address last or anything? I I I'd like to do it. You got that? I'd like to do it. But let all your employees know she struts past, so when she does come here, we'll take her right back to you. >> have a I have a issue last week and John is not on duty. John uh I know him for many years. He's a he's a police officer. He used to come over here and talk to me with us. I had to call every single day and not tired because sometimes you guys quit, sometimes it's Yeah, it's it's just a business call. This is not important call, right? And and it's it's too much. It was the sandwich station here. This guy is not sure. This is the front. This is the front line. So you know when she got her sandwich? Do they know when she got her sandwich? Can they Can they check to see when they got her sandwich? How long ago? I I can't figure out yet, but I'd like to figure out on the computer here because the phone is Hey, no, no, that's fine. Thank you. This is the the sandwich station here. And this one. The front of this place. my sandwich. Good morning, can I help you? This is for my my GF. Is that what we're getting now? Sorry about that. Okay. This is the video. [Music] That one come here. Actually, I don't mind. Hold on. And this is in the lobby. It's fine. This is good. We're good with this. Now let's go sit in the corner there. All right, little far. Yeah, can you can you speed it up? Just fast forward a little or make it a little faster? Is that going to be the uh the little little the uh This is fast that I can move a little Let's start thinking. Come on. This freaking system sometimes is worse. She's there. >> Yeah, she's back there. Okay. My This is 9:27. 9:28. She's >> at the front. Okay. >> At the front, right there. Okay, so can we go to the other camera where staff is? That shows the staff. Sure. At 9:30, go back to like >> 9:30 9:38, right? >> Yeah. What camera can you see that Oh, this one over here. This one, where she got the sandwich. Yep. Right there where she got the sandwich. Yeah, so uh 9:38. Yep. >> All right. Don't worry about She's waiting for the sandwich. Let me make a gesture with this camera. I should look. She have a little attitude there. She left without the bag? Yeah, that's Yeah. Yeah, she'll come back up. She said because she left it up there, she feels like they spit in it. Okay. Honestly, the guy is busy there making sandwich. No, no, that's fine. What was she eating? She's eating something else. She stole it. Looks like a donut. No, that's fine. That's fine. Just let her keep going cuz she's going to go up and grab it here in a second. Nope, I want the whole thing cuz that way she won't say anything. She won't say anything. She can't She can't make a complaint. Yeah. Let me guys show you that. Yeah. That's all we need is just to show she goes up and grabs her food. Why would she leave it up there though? What What What was her excuse? >> Because I guess she realized that it wasn't But I have I have a two different box here. Sometimes these boxes for the delivery people, whatever order online. You know. You think she got the wrong bag? No, she said she she knows that it was a bagel with cream cheese, but then she left it up there cuz she didn't want to make a big deal about it. So, when she came back >> this guy's car right somewhere. Okay. Well, we still see the bag. The other guy is grabbing the other bag that they just set down. Their order. Yep, got their order. Her bag is still sitting there. He's there. He's grabbing it and then he realizes it's not his. Still box there. Yeah, he realized it wasn't his bag. Yeah, that wasn't his. Yeah, he's waiting for his order. Well, I When she >> She got her breakfast sandwich. Yeah. It's going to be somebody can get the wrong bag. >> enough to afford a bagel with cream cheese and that's what they gave her. Uh or maybe somebody can get the wrong bag because this is happening a lot. All these bags there with no sticker on it. It's going to be I can easy easy I can dress in right now, but No, but it's still the point is that her bag is sitting right there. Nobody took it back to spit on it. Yeah. Going to watch it the whole time so that way she can't try and argue. Nobody touched this bag yet. Mhm. It's been there the whole time. Yeah. Why don't I get a small head like this? You see? Yeah, tell her it's her meal. Let me tell you. It's the spill one is one is is spilled is spilled so many. Why is it still? There she goes. [Applause] That's her bag. Or she's going to order another one. She already cuz she was eating it already. Whatever I heard is that customers buy the food for her. She don't pay for anything. >> That's crazy. I wish people would do that for me. I wish I had enough money to support someone else's wants. Yeah. I think if she would have got her bag right on time instead of asking people for money she wouldn't have had that problem. Right. She said they want to call you guys. Mhm. Oh, yeah. Okay. Stupid. Well, while it's fine, do you have your ID so I can do the trespass? Sure, sure. Yeah, sure. You're good. Yeah, yeah. Perfect. That's perfect. Wasn't it my my Dunkin and and Gulf Club and the gas station? Right there across the Gulf, you know. Mhm. Shell gas station. Yeah, that's my that's my area. This is my Dunkin for 18 years old it. What's your phone What's the phone number here? She's giving her time there, but she's never getting back. Are we able to skip a little? No, that's fine. Okay. You can try to find out when she come back over here. Yeah, as long as that bag doesn't move, we're good. Let's let's see. So, let's say 9:47. Let's go see what happened. The 9:58. Right there. That's good. Yeah. She wanted to tell me about it. >> That's fine. This is the perfect perfect time. Yeah. She put the sandwich on the side? She did something. She put I don't know if that's the bag. But she's looking at She put it in the hand. Now I put it back in the bag. And now I start, you know, putting fingers to the people. This bag is over there for a good what, 10 10 minutes? Yeah, nobody spit in it. Nobody touch it. Yeah. It's a one customer try to figure out the bag. >> goes. Look, there she goes. She took it. I just need her to come walk back over. Walk to her chair. All right. She owns it. Okay. Perfect. Thank you. We're going to go talk to her right now. Come cuz we need you to come over. >> I was here at 9:49. All right. He coming. Yeah, no, no. You're good. So, Christine, so we need to view the video, okay? Nothing happened here since then. Okay. Nothing. It's out there the whole time. Nothing happened. We watched the video. That's why I didn't solve it. So, we we found it and then we had to watch it. Okay? Cuz I don't want you to feel like we didn't do our part. So, I literally had to watch what, 10 almost 15 minutes? It was longer than that. Yeah, it felt like Yeah, it was a long time. Okay? So, based on this time, all right? Because of how long you were here asking people for money and this that and the other, I guess. Okay? They're they're a business. They're a business, okay? They don't want you coming back here, so they want you trespassed from here. Okay. So, we're going to trespass you from here for 1 year. You're not allowed to come back. If you do, you're going to be subject to arrest and you'll go to Gulf Club for trespass after warning. Do you understand? I didn't ask anybody for money. They just offered it to me. Yeah, that's crazy. But, okay. Good job. She took it back. What is this? Do you have a deal or a driver's license? I do. I don't have it on me. You ever have one before? Yeah. Okay. How do you spell your last name again? Um just let her know she's no longer welcome on the property and then she's Sure. I don't want to say Okay, perfect. Thank you. Okay, thank you. I appreciate that. All right. So, gather all your things and you're good to go. All right. We got to refund her though. You got to call corporate. They're not helping you anymore. She calmed down for the rest of the ride to the county jail, where she was booked on a single misdemeanor charge of trespass after warning. After her arrest, she appeared before a judge and was released on her own recognizance instead of having to post bond. But, the case didn't resolve quickly. Over the following weeks, she returned to court multiple times, and her release was eventually revoked after another incident brought her back into custody. Due to concerns about her ability to participate in her own defense, the court ordered a mental health evaluation. A licensed psychologist later determined she was not competent to proceed. Her case was then transferred to a specialized mental health division, where it remains active. And she is still in custody while the court continues to oversee her treatment and status. Behind the lens, the silence calls. Through every frame, we stand tall. Shadows fade where truth ignites. We are the voice that breaks the night.
