The sheriff's office responded to a home after a probation officer called in a domestic disturbance. According to the report, she had been on the phone with an individual under her supervision who was allegedly making threats toward her mother. And the officer reported hearing objects being thrown around in the background during the call. But there was something else deputies knew before they even got there. The woman also had an active felony warrant out for her arrest for violating her community control. Which is basically Florida's version of strict house arrest. And that all started from an older case for driving with a suspended license. So when deputies pulled up to the house, they weren't just responding to the reported disturbance. They were also getting ready to take her into custody on that outstanding warrant. >> No. Okay. >> Come out, lady. Come out, lady. >> Hello. >> How you doing? Where's the dog? >> Huh? >> The doggie that was loose. >> Oh, my doggie? >> Yeah, can you lock the dog up? I'm just confused as to why you guys are at my door like >> So you were surprised. You had no clue. >> I have no clue. Like I don't even know what the warrant is for. I took care of everything. The very next day, she went before a judge. After looking over the arrest [music] paperwork, the judge found there was enough evidence for the case to move forward and set her total bond at $8,000, which broke down to $3,000 for the battery charge and $5,000 [music] for the resisting charge. According to the court records, she ended up spending about a week in jail before she was able to bond out and [music] get released while the case officially moved through the court system. Since then, the state has formally filed the charges against [music] her for battery on an officer and resisting with violence. Instead of showing up, she ended up skipping [music] the formal arraignment and just entered a written plea of not guilty to both charges. By the time this video went up, her case remains open with another court conference scheduled [music] for later in June and no final outcome reached just yet. And as always, all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty [music] in a court of law. >> City lights glowing on the avenue. >> [music] [music] >> Sirens low, cutting through the blue. >> [music] >> Night duty, moving slow and true. >> [music] >> We are the river till the morning [music] breaks [singing] through. >> [music] >> Oh.
