She was sentenced to one-year probation and $925 in fines and fees. Next, when officers responded to a domestic dispute call after a woman accused her ex-boyfriend of assaulting her, they had no idea that the case would soon take an unexpected turn. Moving on to the next case, a woman struggled to accept the end of her relationship, setting off a series of events that would soon [music] escalate. >> That side, >> you saw it. Go over here. >> You need to go this way. >> Stop. >> And I don't want nothing to deal with her. I'm like, please don't come in my house cuz her she's very aggressive. >> Please don't. On May 22nd, 2024, officers from Port St. Lucy were dispatched to a residence following reports of a domestic dispute. When officers arrived, the quiet street didn't give a clue about the heated argument they would walk into. >> What's up? >> This your house? >> Backyard. In the backyard. >> She's in the backyard. >> Yeah, they are. >> Okay, do me a favor. Just go back over there real quick. Pretty crazy. Okay. Just do me a favor. When I tell you to go one way, you need to go. >> You're me. >> I'm not. I'm telling you to go over there. >> You just grab me and go back. >> Yes. Cuz I was telling you >> telling me don't touch me. I'M GOING TO GO this way. >> This is a Please DON'T DIE. >> [screaming] >> STOP RESISTING. >> I'm not resisting. I'm not resisting. Oh my god. >> Stop moving. >> Oh my god. >> When I tell you to stop, you listen. 126 PSL 105. >> I got to stop moving. >> Give me a second and I'll fix it. >> No. >> Roll over. >> Despite giving the suspect multiple opportunities to cooperate with officers and follow their instructions, she refused every one of them. And what happened next would only make the situation even worse. Stop it. >> Please stop it. >> Stop pulling your arm. >> I'm not going to tell you again. >> If you don't stop pulling your arm, it's going to hurt more. [screaming] >> Okay, we're trying to fix it. If you would stop moving, we'll fix it. >> All right, listen. What I need you to do, hang on. Don't go to your stomach. I'm going to sit you on your kick your leg out and you're going to stand up. I'll help you up. Okay, so roll over to your Put this foot down. >> I'm going to help you out. One, two, three. Let's take the car real quick. >> Please be careful with that. That is $30,000 bag. >> I don't care about your bag right now. >> And please put my belongings in there. >> We'll come back and grab the rest of your stuff. For now, we're going over here. Where are you taking me? For what? I was the one with the focus and I'm not getting in the vehicle until you tell me what you're >> going to get in the vehicle. I'm Stop. Because the harder you make this for yourself, the harder it's going to go. >> Okay. >> I'm not asking. >> But I will explain it to you in a minute. That's why I'm moving. You need to tell me where you're taking me for. I'm not going in the vehicle. I'm about to tell you where you're taking me. >> Why? Oh, okay. Stop it. I'm asking you a question. When I tell you, right? >> That's fine. >> Okay. So, stay right here for a second. >> Could you let go? Oh, please. It's really hurting, my friend. >> Well, when you don't comply, it's going to hurt. >> Can you fix it? Cuz it's somehow hurt again. So, it's hard. Can you now tell me what's going on? >> I will in a second. Put your feet in. >> Can you fix my hair? Please [snorts] put your foot in, please. >> At this point, the investigation focused on the man whose side of the story would reveal that the situation was far more complicated than it first appeared. >> Oh, man. >> Hi. So, I'm Garcia. >> Nice to meet you. >> So, give me the rundown of what happened today. >> Yeah. Um, I'm over there power washing my backyard and um I used to date that girl a while ago in Philadelphia. I moved here in the end of May last year. Uh-huh. >> And she put me in jail because I didn't want to be with her anymore. She made up some type of fake stuff like I hit her. I actually went to jail for a little bit and they let me out because of the fact that, you know, I'm like, "Oh, I didn't do, you know what I mean? I just want to let blow it off." And then everything is fine. I went to court. Um, she said I didn't do anything and I'm just get out of my life, right? And I haven't spoken to her or nothing. You look at my phone and all of a sudden I'm dating this girl. I have a job. I'm living my normal life and she just pops in my backyard and I don't want nothing to deal with her. I'm like please don't come in my house cuz her she's very aggressive. >> So were you in the porch or outside? >> I was in my lai power washing my deck. If you can see I have all my she you when you were back there. >> No when I was in there and she was coming out. I coach is trying to come in. I'm like please don't come in my and my and my friends. She's over there going like this to me and I back out here and she she whacked the [ __ ] out of me. So she hits you. Does she punch you or slap you? >> No. No. >> Yes. >> You know what I mean? Like whatever. >> Do you have your driver's license on you? >> Um I don't. >> All right. If you want to grab that real quick. >> Did you guys see everything that happened, too? Did you guys >> saw I saw her spit on him? >> She spit on him? >> Yeah. I got on video. >> You have it on video. Okay. Is there any way you saw it as well, or was it just you? >> I saw it. Okay. >> All right. Is there any way I can get you guys to write out a statement form? >> I mean, >> I don't want to. >> Well, it's willing. It's not, you know, >> right? >> Yeah. >> She She saw I didn't see her. >> Okay. So, you just saw >> Yeah, I got the video, though. >> Okay. >> As investigators began piecing together the events, neighbors who had witnessed the situation before police arrived came forward with more evidence. >> Me, what are you going to do now? I'm not I'm not a woman beard. >> That's not cool, man. >> Suka, your mommy's great. By the way, I went to it. Gave her flowers. My cried on her about you about this. I wish you were dead. >> I warned you for seven years. You mother. I warned you. This is my second mom. >> You guys need to get the best. This is not your business. >> Leave him alone. >> Do me a favor and send me that as well. So, let me get your info and I'll send you a link so that way you can send me that. >> [screaming] >> Seriously, my left hand. Please, please, please. >> Which hand? >> Left. >> That's right. And I guess I want to talk to him. >> Okay, give me a second. Stop moving. >> He insulted me, so I want to viol. >> Stop moving your hand. >> I'M NOT MOVING IT. YOU'RE HOLDING IT. >> You keep pulling your hand away. >> I'M NOT PULLING IT. I'M HOLDING IT IN YOUR HAND. I'm not even capable of moving it. At this stage, the suspect insisted that a sergeant come over with complaints to make, but what happened next would take the situation in an unexpected direction. >> What's up, guys? >> She's over here in the car. She is a little combative. Um, >> pretty much she flew in from Pennsylvania to tell the guy that lives at that house that she's pregnant. Um, she had gotten to the property, told to go tell him. smacked him, spit in his face, and I showed up, put her on the ground, put her in handcuffs, and uh yeah, she was fighting the whole time. >> Okay. And claims that her stomach hurts because she's pregnant. So, >> they're going to look at you. All right. >> I need to talk to your sergeant first. >> You can You want to get checked out by rescue or do you want to talk to my sergeant? >> I need to talk to him in front of them, please. >> Okay. When he comes back out, you can talk to him. Do you want them to look at you now while you wait? >> I need him to be present, >> and I need to uh I was >> 66. >> Okay, let me let me take a look. Is okay if we at least check you out while up before the sergeant? Okay, >> I understand that. But that's what's going on right now. There are Okay, so you're going to go with them. They're going to check you out and my officer is going to remain with you for safety. >> And then you're in our custody. And then from there, you're going to go up to the jail. >> Then what? >> Get your phone call. You make whatever call you need to and you go from there. My job is only for this incident right now and to get you up to the jail safely. Okay. >> Is this a jail where you go see a judge in 3 days? >> Uh well, if it's domestic related, you're going to have to see a judge before you're released. And that would be within 24 hours. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> And then what happens? >> That's all beyond our control. >> I know. I understand. But I need you to explain something. I have no idea what's going on with me beyond your control. What happens then? After you're booked and put in the jail, that has nothing to do with us anymore. That's up to the court systems, the judges, the lawyers. That's out of our control. That's what I need. >> See a judge within 24 hours >> because it's domestic related. You will see a judge for the first appearance. Yes. >> As the medical evaluation continued, the woman's behavior drew even more attention, hinting that the situation was far from over. >> I need to file to go. >> I understand that. That's what I'm here for, to make sure my job my officers did their job appropriately. Okay. >> But I need to file charges. So, how do I how do I do that? >> On who? >> On me. >> So, that's why we're here. We're investigating the crime of a battery, >> right? But you're the one taking me to jail, not him. He's the one that assaulted me with the fence. >> The evidence right now proves otherwise. >> He's the one that assaulted me with the fence. >> Ma'am, I'm telling you what I'm >> I have a scratch on me. >> I told you what I told you. I'm going to get an officer to transport with you. Okay. >> This is bull. >> Wow. I'm going to use seat belt sit on the stretcher. Okay. >> Do I have a choice? >> Here. Pull your seat belt. >> We're going to go right to the stretcher. Okay. May I help you? >> I don't know what to do because last time I did something. I now am charged with. >> So, you tell me what to do. >> You're in good hands right now. Just take a step out onto the pavement here and we're going to go right to our center set up very close by. Are we shaving first of all? >> See if you can get a little more comfy on the on the structure. Okay. Go ahead and have a seat right here for me. >> However, you got to do to get comfortable. Okay. >> Yeah. >> No, they're staying there. >> Can you get my bag? >> That's coming with me. >> It's not the number. >> Nope. Definitely coming with me. It's going with you to the gym. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Yep. >> What's your badge number? >> 1263. >> 1263. 1263. All right, we're going to ring out the >> very good monkey. >> Nice. >> In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with resisting an officer with violence, battery by touch or strike, and battery on a law enforcement officer. Up next, what began as a seemingly ordinary dispute between a couple soon brought officers face to face with a woman they never expected to encounter. >> Did he Did he touch you at all? >> Not today. He lets his mom yell at him. He lets his mom scream at him like, "I was not raised like that." something serious like girl something serious like >> we're here trying to help YOU IS ON ME. >> On November 27th, 2024, officers from Clearwater, Florida responded to a call from a woman reporting a domestic disturbance involving her boyfriend. When they arrived, they had no idea what kind of situation they were about to face. >> I made a false hoax cuz me and my boyfriend got into a big argument and he moved my stuff outside. So, I got upset and called you guys. I apologize. >> Okay. Do you need law enforcement? >> No. No. Do you want medical attention or anything like that? >> No, I apologize. >> You're okay. Did anything physical happen or anything like that? >> No. >> Are you just saying that so that we leave? >> Nothing. >> Nothing happened. >> You want to sit in the back of the car and then we can talk when it's more private? No, >> no, we're good. Nothing happens. >> Okay. Do you mind just keeping your hands out in front of you for me? Sorry. >> Thank you. No, you're okay. Who is this female? Do you know who she is? >> She's going to be the one who's going to tell He's going to say that Clayton's the good that's the one that came out to talk to you first. I'm going just show you that. >> Where's the Where's your boyfriend at? >> He's inside. >> He's inside. >> Yeah. He's the one who moved all my stuff out. The one that yells and screams. I mean, we have it on camera. I I I didn't I don't want him to get arrested. I don't want none of that. I I was trying to call to tell you guys not to come out here, but >> we were already like right around the corner. >> Yeah, you were right around the corner. >> Yeah. So, do you mind hanging out with her and we'll go try to talk to the other half? >> Yeah. Do anything else you want to ask her? >> I don't It doesn't need to escalate to this point, honestly. >> Okay. Well, what's your what's your plan for the rest of the day? >> My plan for I'm going just leave. >> Do you want us to take you somewhere? >> No, I'm good. I'm going just leave. >> Okay. >> It doesn't need to escalate at all. >> Did he Did he touch you at all? >> Not today, though. >> Not today. Do you want to report any type of crime to us? >> No. >> Listen, you do know that we can take you to women's shelters or domestic violence shelters, correct? Do you know that? Are they like open or free? >> 100%. Would you like to go to one of those? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Officer, [music] could you help uh facilitate her for that and just talk to her for a second? We're just going to go make sure that he's okay. >> No, don't talk to him. >> Here's the thing. You called us. Okay, here's the thing. I need to make sure all parties are okay. >> He's going to lie. All they're going to say is I'm the crazy [music] one. As the situation continued, officers worked to maintain control while tensions remained high between the suspect identified as China and her boyfriend Clayton along with his family. Their focus remained on determining what had led to the initial report. >> So, if you want to go to a domestic violence shelter, we can definitely help facilitate that. Okay. >> Talk to him. No talk to him, please. >> Ma'am, >> who's calling? >> Hey, you don't you don't tell me what to do, okay? But I'm going to do my entire job. Okay. >> What's going on? >> I'll talk you away from her. >> Okay. Well, we can talk right here for just a second. Is your son inside? >> Yes, he is. He's not gonna come out until >> I've dealt with this all night long or being on something. >> Okay, >> my son came to me and asked me that that something was wrong with her. Okay, she's tweaking. She's like doing something with her tongue. She was sluring her words all night. She kept this up to 5:00 this morning. Okay. I tried to I brought my son up here because she just wouldn't want to say he he was asleep and she woke him up because she was twisted. She woke the whole house up going in the rooms doing all kinds of crazy last night. And then finally she went to sleep. I brought my son up here said she had nobody to really go back and everybody else already shut their doors and locked it because she kept coming in with the babies and waking everybody up. Okay. >> You know, I already real quick. Okay. Hold on. We're just trying to She's not saying anything happened. Okay. >> I'm saying it happened because I'm tired of it. >> Okay. Did Did anybody put Did anybody put hands on anybody? >> No. No. She was trying to throw something at him just a minute ago. Nothing. >> Well, that Well, that's why is Did anybody put hands on anybody? Okay. >> I'm telling you that white lady I I'm sorry. I hate to say it, but like these Karens >> are something serious. Like something serious. As the investigation progressed, officers continued looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident until China suddenly acted unexpectedly. >> She's she's just saying she she she >> Well, of course it's her son. You know how moms are with their son. Like >> it's stupid. I know. I know. >> Listen, I I get what you're saying. >> Everybody downstairs. Everybody who's downstairs is scared of them. >> Is this him or is this someone else? >> No. Walk downstairs right now and see how the dynamic is when Clay opens up his mouth. Everybody shut up. Why is everybody scared of one man? Imagine how this feels. >> Yeah, for real. >> Like, let me put on my pants. >> See how [music] my legs are? >> Yeah. I'm not a woman beater. I've never I've never hit a woman. >> When are those from? >> Last time. >> They're not from last night. They're from a week and a half ago. >> A week and a half ago. Did you Did you call the police then? >> No, I didn't. Because I don't ever want to call the police on him because I don't feel like he should go to jail. >> Why? For hurting you. >> Because I love him. >> I get it. But >> I mean, so when's he going to stop? You know, >> when is when is he going to stop? >> When he when he gets >> when he gets arrested. >> When when when somebody beats his ass. >> You said it. His mom the one that's the one that's eating his right now. >> He was just in jail. Me, too. And he put me in jail while ago, right? >> He put me in jail cuz I was in the car with him. I am not a bad girl. They said, "Oh, no. You was in the middle seat and I was behind your back." Okay. Damn. >> What you got like a month ago? >> Yeah. Yeah, >> there's no bruises on him. I can't wait for it. Snap them there. And then two, we have camera footage like in our room. And I'm going to say that to you. We have camera footage of him. Like, I'm so serious cuz they going to f try to flip the screen. >> While officers continued interviewing Clayton's mother, her account revealed a growing concern over her daughter-in-law's behavior. But as she continued to speak, Clayton made a request of his own. >> That's all we're here for. >> I I get it. But uh you know I was on tired and then she gets up next morning we try to let her sleep whatever she did off and then she gets up and starts doing this again. >> Do they both live here? >> Yes, >> they do. >> That's a boyfriend girlfriend. >> Okay. >> Right. And I I already told her I said you stay up here because she is she's causing problems with the whole thing. I mean with her tweaking like that my son my son a he can't handle that stuff. So, all we want to talk to him for is just to confirm what you just now said and then we're gonna we're gonna leave. >> Okay. I just I just had to say my word for this girl. >> That's fine. >> I've already talked to her grandpa. He don't even want her. Okay. >> I'm like filming and it's emotional because I care about her. >> I care about all the time. >> Are you boyfriend? >> Okay. Um, did anything happen between you and your girlfriend China? Like anything physical? You didn't put your hands on her? She didn't put her hands on you >> working this morning. >> Okay. >> No hands. >> Oh, that's what that's all we wanted to make sure of. And we're going to leave. Okay. Do you need us for anything? >> Cool. All right. Thank you. >> I want I want something to do with somebody who's and causing this kind of >> You got to You got to get her evicted >> through the sheriff's office. >> With her being on something like that. I mean, what can we do? Because this is this is I got babies here around and she can't be just running all over. >> You could either get her evicted or you could get an injunction which might be a quicker process cuz I think that they have like immediate moveout orders on injunctions if it gets like the judge has to approve it though. It's not just automatic. >> Otherwise, it's just eviction. >> Yeah, >> that would be the more long-term solution. >> The situation appeared to be calming down as officers guided China through what she needed to do and she began cooperating. But without warning, something unexpected happened. >> Hi, China. Do you want to go to a women's domestic violence shelter or no? >> Um, yeah, they want me to go. >> Well, that's not up to them. Do you want to go to a domestic violence shelter? >> Yeah, I'll pack myself. >> Do you want to get some of your property? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> No, I don't want you to walk off. I got to They're not going to touch. >> Do you not want us to come help you? >> No, they're not going to touch me. >> They're good. >> So, do you want us to stay here? >> So, but you want us to just stay out here? >> Oh, no. You meant like are y'all going to drive me or me go by myself? >> Do you want assistance to it? We can take you. >> Yeah. >> WHAT'S GOING ON? WE'RE NOT let >> Oh, yeah. >> Man, you're going in handcuff. >> I want to talk to >> Please. WE'RE GOING TO CUT YOUR CHARGE. I'M DONE DEALING with you. STOP. PLEASE. >> WHY? BRO, ARE YOU SERIOUS? Are you serious right now? >> I think I arrested. Are you serious? >> Are you serious? >> I won't go. >> I won't go. >> Okay. >> You clearly need to calm down. >> Okay. Okay. [laughter] >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You're going in handcuffs because you don't want to stop. >> I've had it. We're not going to hang out. >> He told me I could come in. He told me I could come in. >> We're not going to hang out at your house all day cuz you guys want to act like children. I'm over it. >> You want You want I could have got him. Are you serious? You need to relax. I can get out these handcuffs. I got small wrists. Like I want one. I'm an inter. >> All right. Do it. You're going to jail. >> Why are you taking me to jail? >> I never said you're going to jail. I said if you slip your cuffs, you're going to jail. >> And what is it? >> Oh, I tried to [ __ ] up. Honestly, >> you need to stop when he >> We're here trying TO HELP YOU. WE'RE DOING THIS ON ME. >> Get in the car. Rip away from me again. Get in the car. While officers waited with China outside the residence, tensions suddenly shifted and what began as a simple welfare check soon became something much more serious. >> So, what happened? >> That's my light. He let my cousin. >> Okay. Is that boyfriend's room? That's Clayton's room? >> No, that's my room. That's your room. That's mine. >> I just I just want to ask her a question. She just like turns to me and looks so aggressive and starts yelling at me. I'm like, "Bro, what?" She She throws everything down, tried to screw her up. So, I was like, "What the I just walked out the room cuz I'm like, "Yo, bro, that's dumb as hell." I just walked inside to ask him what's good. What happened? >> Did you want to press charges for battery? >> No, it's not my decision. It's your mom. >> So here So here here's the thing. She already got the correct answer. No offense. She's going to jail regardless. If you don't want to press charges later, that's fine. But you all live here together. That makes this a domestic situation. Okay. We're going to talk to everybody separately. All right. >> We're just going to talk to mom first. >> Let's No. I'm not trying to be rude. All that's kind of just background. Let's go to where we left for a second. >> Oh, for the second. Okay. >> What happened in that brief little gun time? Okay. So, I'm on the porch. And from right when we left to right when she went in handcuffs, I want that minute. >> How did she push through you? >> Um just kind of put her hands on me and shove like >> like >> like try to get me out of the way. Shove. >> So, she kind of shoved you aside. >> Yeah, that's what she does. >> Okay. >> She does it all the time. >> Cool. All right. We'll go talk to >> Clayton. All right. Um, do you know if she's using anything or if she's on anything or any mental health diagnosis? >> She she works at she she worked at um for an old uh dude in a wheelchair. >> Yeah. >> And I guess the old dude uh and I guess she tries >> Okay. How long ago was that? >> Uh like two days ago, but like ever since then like this hilarious like >> So she's been acting different since she tried the coding. >> I didn't try. >> No, since she tried the coding. She's acting different. Okay. >> Are those from her today or are those old or is that even from her or do you not want to mention anything about them? >> I'm not going to lie. Like it's going to sound crazy, but we we probably do have some like like physical sex like >> Okay. Well, that's cool. >> As officers continued with the procedure, tensions escalated when China's growing frustration caught them off guard. >> What are you doing? I just want to get in the car. Yeah. How'd she get out in the car? She's slaming her head. I'm going make you break me. Turn around. I'm going to make you break. >> Stop. Look what you're doing. I want to see my boyfriend. You're not seeing your boyfriend. Get in the car. >> This is my car. >> China. I'm hurt myself so bad. >> Did she just kick you? Sam. >> Sam. Did she just kick you? >> Yes. And you pick lick my leg up. There's There's camera footage. There's camera footage. You're lifting my leg up. Stop. Get the level. Get off the level. >> I have one hanging on my back. Wait. >> All right. >> You want to get this off me? >> Oh, I already knew. I already knew. >> Okay. Crush your foot. >> You're done. I don't care. >> Look at my arm. I have 12. >> Why are you asking like this? >> I just want to see my boyfriend. >> You can't though. You're not going to go to jail for that long. Just relax and get out. >> Okay. >> Don't act like this. >> But put your foot in. >> Put your foot in the car so we don't have to tidy up like a hawk. >> 16. >> What a brazer. >> This is not going to make that happen. >> What did you tell me? You're not going to see your boyfriend. You have his number. Period. I know. >> You said I don't have his number. I said I will write it down for you. And this is how you act out cuz I want you to see him say bye at least. Y'all were taking me to jail when I called the police when I have I have more than you can kill my mom on me, >> right? Or do we need to hobble you? What is hobbling? >> Like a pig, bro. >> I just I don't have. >> As China's anger intensified, she began taking her behavior to another level despite repeated warnings from officers to calm down. But with every attempt to regain control, she pushed the situation even further. >> Where's body camera? I'm going to >> Well, guess what? Now you're getting bankrupted as well. It doesn't change anything. >> It changes nothing. And I will and I take her straight to jail. >> I want to say but to her. >> Can you just have him come out and look at my do what you want to do? Especially when you're acting like a child. >> Okay. Try acting like this. What? What? I ain't touch one. Good. You're making it easier. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. See, they're going to just kick me. Take my leg out. We will need to get I want to Please save me. Save me. >> I'M DONE. I'M DONE WITH I'M DONE WITH I'm so done with bro. I don't care. I want y to black people. So >> she's not getting it. >> Can someone hide it around their legs, please? Down below. All I had to do lose was you and I lost him. I got >> At this point, officers had to use greater force to restrain China. But beneath her emotional outbursts, officers were beginning to see a more troubling side of her behavior. >> I hope you my face take your gun. >> Hey, don't get the off. >> Stop right. >> Be careful, y'all. Put her back on her feel like doing. Yes, Lord. >> Yes, Lord. That's what white folks do. >> Yes, Lord. >> Lord this year. >> Yes, Lord. >> Yes, Lord. >> People like doing black ass. >> Hold your head down. >> Yes, Lord. >> Nobody's on your neck. Show up. >> Stop. Your head on the ground. Stop. I'm trying to have a >> Stop. Yeah, I don't make >> Stop. Stop. She'll get tired, bro. I don't want to live. >> She'll get tired. >> No, I won't. >> Stop. >> Look at my arm, bro. I'm 15. I got I have Just go. >> That's supposed to go on here. The hub is supposed to go around her family. >> I don't got no family. I don't got no kids. I don't got none of that. Bro, >> you're making it worse. Okay. I don't got no kids. >> I don't got no kids. >> Not yet. You're young. >> 32 411. Can you come here, please? Let's just get her in. >> Stand up. >> At this point, we should lay her on the side of the road and wait for transport. >> We're not going to take her. That's the problem. >> That's her ass. Keep hurting yourself. >> Can you stop? >> No. >> I have one combative on the way. >> The only person I had to live for and now I'm done. I'm getting arrested and I'm the one getting beat on. >> In the end, China was charged with felony battery on the law enforcement officer, misdemeanor battery, and resisting without violence. She was sentenced to 18 months of probation. Up next, when a college student reported being assaulted by her boyfriend, officers uncovered details that appeared to have been deliberately kept out of sight. >> My boyfriend got into a function last night. He hit me in the face multiple times. My lip was like and my eyes still like a little bruised and my nose was bleeding everywhere. >> At 2:30 in the morning, >> and like she's done this multiple times before with me. >> Call my dad, please. On March 6th, 2024, officers from Florida received a call from a college student who claimed she had been assaulted by her boyfriend following an argument over jealousy. But when officers arrived, they had no idea what they were about to uncover. >> What's going on today? >> Um, so me and my boyfriend got into a profession last night. >> Okay. >> And basically what happened was um he went out, didn't tell me. I was really upset. He came home, plastered. Um, I put him to bed and then I started drinking and I got really drunk and then um, we went upstairs to my room and I was really really mad and I didn't he um, smacked me in the face multiple times. I don't really like kind of blacked out during that. >> Okay. >> Um, basically here I have pictures. >> Um, this is what my face looked like. My lip was like swollen. My eyes still like a little bruised and my nose was bleeding everywhere. >> Okay. >> Um but yeah, that's pretty much what happened. And then >> came to safety was called and they came and took him back to his room. And I said I didn't want to press charges originally. Um but I would like to now. I just don't I don't want him to get like arrested or anything. >> Okay. Well, that's we'll get to that later on. Do you have your ID? >> Yes, I do. >> All right. So, what time did this take place yesterday? >> Um, around 2:45 2:30 >> in the morning. >> In the morning. >> Okay. So, like this morning. >> Yeah. >> So, 2:45 a.m. >> Yes. >> Okay. And so, he was out >> he went he was out during the day, came home, was super drunk, and then I started drinking. >> And then how long did you drink for? >> Probably um like 2 or 3 hours. Okay. And then what happened from there? >> And then I went up to my room and wait. I went up to my room at like >> at like 12, but like what? Yeah, I went up to my room. I was I was very drunk and people were like his roommates were trying to help me. >> As the girlfriend continued recounting the events of that night, officers listened closely to her account. I don't quite really remember what happened in between, but I went up to my room. His name is He ended up coming up to my room. >> Was there any arguing while he like in his room while or he just went to sleep? What? >> I mean, I was yelling at him. I was saying like I was obviously very upset. >> This is before he went to bed. >> Yeah. And then he wasn't even like conscious to listen to me though. Like he was knocked out. >> Okay. So you stay in his room until about midnight. >> Okay. And then you go up to your room. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And then what happened from there? >> And then he ended up coming to my room too and around the same time. And >> so he followed you up there. >> Did he he came? No, he came up after I was already up there, right? >> He came up. You were in the room like four at >> maybe like shy from two. It was like an hour. Got you. the uh owner's advis they're going to handle them standby until they >> someone walked into the room 10 minutes from that you were screaming. >> Okay. So like probably around 2 he came to the room. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So around 2:00 a.m. he came to my room. >> He wasn't in there for long though. It was like 10 minutes and then once you started screaming we came down. He was already gone. >> Okay. >> So after everything >> Okay. So 2 a.m. he comes up to your room. What happens from there? So that's when we started arguing and like screaming at each other and my roommate said that she heard us screaming. They came down. >> Um and this I had already we had already like each other by then >> and I was bleeding and everywhere. >> So then we kept arguing. I was still very drunk at this point. Um he was still coming down from his drunk. We just kept arguing. kept arguing and then he just smacked me. And I don't quite remember like how it really went from there, but all I know is he kept smacking me. Like I got hit multiple times. >> At this point, officers noticed the girlfriend's emotions shifting throughout the interview as she was about to reveal a detail that could change their understanding of the incident. >> I hit him more than once, too, I'm pretty sure. Okay. And so then campus safety comes in. Who who called them? >> Okay. So they get there and he goes down to his room. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Have you talked to him since? >> Yes. >> Okay. What did What did he say? >> Um basically he came to my room this morning. and he apologized and then we like were kind of okay and then um I've been talking with my dad all morning. He my dad I called my dad in the com like in the middle of the um altercation and he wants me to press charges and um also my friends do as well. So I told him that I was pressing charges and then um he's just been blowing up my phone like begging me to talk to him. >> How long have you guys been dating? Um, we've been technically together for like almost, it started, not last November, but the November before that. So, November 2023. >> It's like a year and a half. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> What's his first name? >> What's his last name? >> O. O R E C. O R E C H I >> What's his date of birth? Is Do you know where he is right now? >> Yes. >> Is he in the room? >> He's in the room. >> Okay. >> What's your name? >> Can I stop your ear for a second? >> Yeah. >> During the interview, the girlfriend's friend continued providing additional information, leading officers to believe she might be a crucial witness to what happened. >> What is your recollection of the incident? My recollection of the incident is hold on I have time stamps. So last night I came in from my friend's dorm probably around I have my location. Let me see. Actually not important but I came in probably like before 12 like 11:30 or something like that. 11. Came into the door saw sitting on the couch. She looked perfectly fine. Like her face was good. >> She was balling her eyes out and I was like okay. Like she was getting really upset. Um, she was calling like everyone, yelling at them and whatever. Finally, she's standing outside the door with this guy that she knows and their friends and they were just going back and forth. She was like, "Let me go to [music] He was like, "No." Basically, we get her inside. She doesn't go see him. We get her food, water. I literally put her in bed. I turn off the lights. She's in bed. She's good. >> This is in her room. >> In her room. >> Okay. >> Hasn't seen him for like maybe an hour or two, whatever. And then um it was me, my roommate, [music] and her boyfriend who doesn't live on campus. We all just chitchatting before we put her to bed, whatever. >> And then put her to bed. I'm like, "All right, I'm going upstairs." I go upstairs. I lay down for like 10, 15 minutes. I hear little faint screams, like tiny screams, and I'm like, "All right, I'm like imagining something." And then I heard a big one, and I was like, "No way." And then I heard a like a loud scream. Like I was like, "What the hell is going on downstairs?" And I opened up my dorm and same with my roommate, we both rushed downstairs at the same time like crisscross applesauce with her head like in her hand. She doesn't have even though she we put her in on before bed. Her face is like all I see she's like he gave me a nose. So I'm like okay. So I'm like putting back her hair getting her things ready. All I see is a big busted lip and she's like her whole comforter is covered in everything is just soaked. She's like profusely crying. She's shaking. She cannot talk. And I'm like, "What? What happened?" He's like, "She he hit me." And I was like, "What?" >> The teenager appeared to confirm the alleged victim's version, but what she revealed next only deepened the officer's concerns. >> Before this, before I even went downstairs, um, I called campus safety. >> Now, fast forward, I went downstairs. Um, he walks back into the he walks back into the room. I don't know what that was, but he came back into the room and he's like, "Your campus is here. Go wash your face in the sink." I'm like, "Did you like do this to her?" Mind you, like I've known [music] for like since she first came to Lynn and I know everything about him. Sorry. So I was like, "Did you do this to her?" And he's like crazy. Go wash your face. I'm like, "If you didn't do this to her, why?" Cuz he didn't have a shirt on. And I go, "Why is there no scratches on you and there's on his knuckles?" I go, "Where'd you get that from?" Cuz if you just came into the room and you didn't touch her, where'd you get that from? He's like, "Oh, no." Like, "I'm going to wash my hands here." He shoots off campus. I give my campus's phone number to his boyfriends and I said, "Please go call this and tell them to come to this room." But he didn't touch her and she did that to his himself. >> Okay? >> And then he got exorted back to her room and that was that. He didn't come over and now he's trying to right now currently he's trying to guilt trip like he's came to the door already. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. >> And there's another my other >> Okay. >> Yankee 34. Can I get a routine 94? Uh a female if possible. I'll be in here. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to have I'm going to have a partner come over. We're going to talk to him and then we're going to figure out what's going on. Okay. >> When officers finally went to question the boyfriend about the accusations against him. The investigation took another turn. >> Hello. >> Hit by a tire that flew off of a car. >> What's going on, man? >> All right. So, I got called, I guess, about an incident that happened early this morning, late last night. >> Um, first, do you have your ID on you? >> Uh, yeah. >> Want to sit or >> wherever you want? Where wherever you're comfortable? Yeah. Can you just explain what happened last night or this morning, I guess? >> Yeah. It was last or I don't know, like 2:00 a.m. whatever it was. >> Um, I [clears throat] was in Fort Lauderdale with my friend >> at the beach. I came back um went to sleep and she went through my phone while I was >> Who is she? Um, >> okay. >> Went through my phone while I was sleeping. Um, I woke up to her. Like, that's what I woke up to was a punch. >> Where? Where did this take place? >> In her room. >> Her room. Yeah. >> Okay. So, you were sleeping in her room? >> Yeah. So, I originally got back, knocked out here for a couple hours, went up to hers, knocked out, and got woken up like that. >> So, she punched you is how she woke you up. >> Yeah. And then we started arguing. Um, she told me like she went through my phone. I was like, "Okay." It just kept escalating. I was just trying to go to bed. Like I just woke up and I got multiple multiple times and um from there >> how >> what are you asking? Like >> I guess estimate estimate how many Yeah. How many times did she >> All right. Yeah. So the complete rundown I woke up she was it was escalating the argument. She probably like six seven times scratching me on my back. >> Do you have any marks? >> Yeah. I have like a couple scratches. I'm not sure about my back. I don't know. >> Pulled it off a little bit. >> Yeah. Okay. >> I mean, >> might be a little little mark there. Yeah. >> Um and then Yeah. So, I had like pushed her off me and it's a small room. She tripped and fell into the side of the bed. >> Okay. >> Then we're just we were still arguing. Still arguing. She hit me and then her room her her roommates came down. >> This is what my face looked like. My lip was like swollen, my eyes still like a little bruised, and my nose was bleeding everywhere. >> As the officer observed the boyfriend's reaction to the situation, he remained calm and provided details that initially seemed consistent with the girlfriend's account. But as they continued listening, certain details began to raise questions about her version. >> And then that was the end. I went to bed. But it just escalated so much. I was just like, >> it hurt genuinely like trying to hurt me. I wasn't trying to hurt her or any of that. >> How long have you guys been dating? like a year and a half of going to Greece with this girl. Like, okay. It's not like >> was it like infidelity issues? Did she find something on your phone or like what? >> She just found a couple texts of me flirting with the girl. Like it wasn't like I didn't do anything but Yeah. >> But that's what caused the whole thing. Okay. So, she smacked you in the face, scratched you. Anything else? >> She was throwing my phone around, but like she scratched me, pushed me, punched me, whatever. >> Okay. >> I was just trying to deescalate it. I wasn't trying to hurt her out any of that. >> Did you like defend yourself at all? Did you strike her at all? >> No, I didn't strike at all. I just like cuz she was on top of me scratching, I just had to push her off and that's when [music] she tripped into the the wooden thing on the side of the bed. >> Okay. >> And then yeah, that's when like everybody came down. We were just kept yelling and yelling. >> Okay. >> As the officer continued speaking with the boyfriend, he began digging deeper into details the girlfriend had mentioned earlier but had not fully explained. >> Okay. In your own uh words, can you tell me what happened in regards to the incident? Uh that was approximately 2:30 this morning. >> So I went back up to her room, fell asleep, I guess, or she said she went through my phone. I woke up. The way I woke up was to a punch. I woke up, we started arguing about because she went through my phone. >> Um it just kept escalating for a while. Like just kept getting kept getting scratched, pushed, all that. She was on top of me at one point. So then I had pushed her off because she was like really scratching me my like neck and all that. >> I didn't strike or any of that. I just had to push her off like as for protection >> and she had tripped cuz it's a very small room. She had tripped into the side of the wooden the side of the bed. It's like wooden >> and then we had kept arguing for a little while longer. Same situation. And then her friends had come down. Campus safety had come to like talk about the noise complaint. >> Mhm. And from there, I had gone to sleep. She had gone to sleep. We woke up. We talked. We said, "I'm sorry." It was good. I thought we were good. Now, >> Yeah. Now we're here. >> Okay. So, the the first physical thing was you waking up to a punch. [music] >> Yeah. >> And then from there, she scratched you and then >> my phone pushed me like it was going on for a while. >> Okay. So, she hit you several times. >> Like I was trying to leave. I couldn't She wouldn't let me leave cuz she wanted me to sleep with her. But like it was just >> with physical evidence and new details beginning to support his account, the officer gave the boyfriend a choice that could take the case in a very different direction. >> Are you willing to give me a sworn statement, >> which is >> I would just swear you in. You would tell the story again. >> Um, do I [music] have to go in? Like >> I mean I can't I can't force you to, but >> like I'm just trying to figure out the options cuz obviously I don't want to escalate anything into something. It's >> right. Like I said, I mean, I can't force you to, but part of that's just part of my job is to collect a sworn statement of the incident. So, >> like that's why I'm just trying like if I don't, does that affect me in a bad way? Like, >> uh, just No, it's not. I mean, nothing's going to happen to you. You know, it's not like I'm going to arrest you for not doing it. So, it's up to you. If you want to, that's fine. If you don't, >> I'm just trying to get best advice from you. >> Yeah, I can't I can't unfortunately I can't give [music] you advice. You know, you're you're an adult, so you you got to make those decisions. So, >> call my mom real quick. She'll pick up in two seconds. Uh, just yes or no. As if >> I I guess. Yeah, >> you can call your mom. That's fine. >> I'm sorry. >> I'm not trying to be >> No problem. You'll do it. Okay. >> Yeah, that's fine. Okay. Let me let me call you. Let me call you. >> Yankee 34, can I have my case number, please? Today's date is March 6th. The time is now 5:37 p.m. The following is a tape statement with Oreo. Is that correct? In reference to Bocertone Police Services Department case number, this statement is being taken at Lynn University, 3601 North Military Trail. Uh raise your right hand. Do you solemnly swear that the statement you will give will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? So help you God. All right. And then this is a victim notification form. I will fill this out if you uh want me to. It is just saying that you'll get a call that when she's getting released from jail. So if you need to like make any kind of arrangements or anything like that >> if she wants to call me, she >> No, no, it's not for her to call you. It's just for you to get notified and like because right because technically you're a victim of of dating violence right now. >> It's it's okay. >> Okay. Do you want me to to Okay. >> After reviewing the evidence, officers were ready to make their decision. But the girlfriend wasn't ready for the outcome next. >> Yeah. Can you just put your phone on top of the car? >> All right. Put your hands behind your back. Okay. I'm going to explain what's going on. >> What? >> All right. I'm going to explain what's going on. >> What's going on? >> I'm going to tell you in a second. Just hold on. >> What's going on? >> All right. So, you're being placed under arrest for simple battery dating violence. Okay. >> Is he getting arrested? >> No, he's not. Okay. Why? >> So, I'm going to explain. So, based on your story and his, I determined that you were the primary aggressor and you started [clears throat] the physical violence. Okay? So, that's why you're going to be arrested today. If you have any questions, let me know. I'll try to explain it. But that's what's happening. Okay? >> I'll explain it to you. Like I told you before, the victim loses the right to press charges when the investigation happens. If you're determined to be the primary aggressor, which you initiate the physical contact, it's you go to jail. Um, so you don't >> call my dad, please. >> Yeah, give me a second. >> Oh, no. >> I will say again that this is one of the other reasons that we leave the relationships when they turn out like this because nobody's saying how he retaliated against you was okay. Call fire, please. Please call some call my dad. >> Give me a second. If she doesn't have the number, if you give me the code, I'll get it out of your phone and give it to her so she can call. >> So, she'll she'll call your dad and let him know. I'll explain to him why it happened and that he should be expecting hopefully a phone call from you within the next 30 minutes to an hour. Okay. Um, but like I said, we just want to expedite the process. In the end, the girlfriend was arrested and charged with simple battery assault. Moving to the next case, a troubled relationship involving an Air Force service member led to a police investigation. But the evidence would soon reveal that there was more to the story. >> Started talking to me, arguing. Okay. >> And then she started pushing me and in the face. >> Nothing. You think that you can just ignore me when I'm trying to talk to you about my kids? >> What did he accuse you of today, if anything? >> Oh, having with multiple men over the weekend, entertaining other men in my DMs. >> Turn around and put your hand up behind your back. >> On September 1st, 2023, a man named Nate walked into a police station in Georgia and told officers he needed to report his wife. He was in the military and he was terrified that whatever happened next could destroy his career. But what he had recorded on his home cameras was about to speak louder than any fear he walked in with. >> Hello. >> Good. How are you? Did you call? >> I didn't call anybody, but I talked to her. >> Right. What happened? >> So, uh, my name is, uh, can I? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. My name is Nate. I um without a >> So, this morning, um, I have an incident with my wife. I'm in the military. I'm not sorry. >> And I already talked to the NPS and I talked to my leadership, my first wife supervisor about the incident that happened this morning. >> Mhm. And pretty much my wife and I were going through a solution right now and she was she was >> okay. I know uh um I I I'm here because I'm have an an idea of what I want to do, but I'm kind of worried about the consequences, but I don't want to like lose my career or put myself on a position where what my career is going to be jeopardize. I already talked to my first line too. >> Mhm. and he said that he can put me on a barroom and all stuff which is what I'm trying to avoid. When I talked to the MP, they told me the same thing. Even >> the if I'm a victim, they pretty much the law favor the the spouse in this case. I don't know if you're familiar with uh with that part, but what I'm hearing is just, you know, we we we um we start again through the weekend. Mhm. >> Um um result of that um she was she was at the house. She came home yesterday from she's in the reserve. So she come she came home yesterday from South Carolina. >> I wasn't talking to her. I was just I clean her house and minding my own business. And this morning uh I was getting ready to take my kids to to daycare on post and both of them and I put them away in the car and I guess she was thinking that we were cool. She was like I was going to the gym in the afternoon and I didn't talk I didn't tell her anything so she kind like went away inside the house and closed the garage. So I was getting ready to she open the garage pack and start talking to me >> arguing. Okay. And then she started pushing me and in the face and then she start gaslighting me. >> And maybe I was saying things that I was gaslighting her too. >> Like what? >> Like ignoring her because I wasn't talking to her about what she was asking about. >> Nate explained that his wife Kelly had been hitting him. And this wasn't the first time. He told officers he had been dealing with her behavior for years. Then he reached for his phone and what he pulled up on the screen was about to change the direction of the entire conversation. I got it on video, but I'm not going to show you until we we find on top and then I would just >> What do you have on video? I'm sure I don't know if you've been through this before or there's I don't want to like mess up her career or like right now as right now she's at work and she think like I said she think that I'm blocking about this but I was telling her like I'm not going to keep posting the behavior that you're doing which is pretty much right now out of social media she's been talking to other guys but while being married to me and the reason why we went to social work uh before and we've been through is because while I was deployed she she was cheating in the This is that first one that I kind of it was working out. >> You think act like this father of the year, huh? You can't just make it easy. Why do you have to be so difficult? Why do you have to be so difficult? >> You just want to make it easy for me. >> I'm not. It could be easy for everybody. You just want to make my life miserable because you have this persona in your head thinking that I'm cheating on everybody. And if I am, I'd like to see proof cuz there's nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing. And that's what's funny. I'm not intimidated by you anymore. I'm not scared by you. There's nothing that you can do intimidating. Nothing. You think that you can just ignore me when I'm trying to talk to you about? Huh? I'm not afraid of you. I'm sick of you always trying to intimidate me. I'm not afraid of you. I'm not afraid of you. >> Will you carry us into the next relationship? >> Um, >> she's right here. >> Who? >> My wife. >> Where is she? >> The white car. >> So, it's shot. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz I'm I'm sure she can tell that I'm I'm She's texting me and calling me. >> Okay. And she uh >> Does she know you're here? >> Yeah, because she seen my location. >> Okay, stay in here for just a minute. Okay. >> While Nate was still inside the station, Kelly tracked his location and showed up outside. She had no idea what he had already shown the officers and what she was about to tell them would only make things worse for herself. >> Hello. Are you Kelly? >> Yes. >> Can I talk to you for just a minute? >> Hey, I'm Officer Marian. Um, what's going on with her husband? >> I mean, I'm sure you know his side of the story and I want to get yours. So, >> yeah, it's probably >> true >> what he said. >> What What What do you think he told me? Like, I'm I'm just trying to get your side. Okay. >> We've been going through this for 3 years. We haven't gone this this far. Um >> I don't know. I'm sure he told you everything. Um he's really good at building cases, been building cases against me. He's a very smart man. >> Okay. So, what what from your perspective, what happened? >> Animal control unit. He knows how to push me past my limits and manipulate me >> to the point to where I finally break and then he >> he does stuff like this. >> Okay. So, I understand what you're saying like in general that this is like an ongoing thing, but what about today? How did he do that today? >> Trying to threaten that he's going to have full custody of our children. >> Okay. not say that exactly, but don't worry about it. I got it. You the words that he says, I don't even know how to put it in word for word right now. >> Okay. So, you feel like he was provoking you. >> Of course, he always does. >> Okay. So, how did the argument start? >> He accuses me of stuff that's not true. >> Okay. >> Can you tell me what's going on after this? >> I am investigating a domestic violence incident. That's what's going on. Okay. And what's happening right this moment is I'm trying to get your side. Okay. >> I don't know. I don't really have a side. He I There's nowhere I can go. He's trying to kick me out of our house. I cannot leave. >> There's nowhere for me to go. >> Kelly told the officer that Nate was controlling and manipulative. But every time the officer asked what happened that morning, her answers circled around without ever landing on the one thing he needed to hear. >> So, you guys are arguing. Okay. And is this how it usually goes? You guys argue and then it escalates? >> No, I don't know. I mean, >> we'll argue, but we're quick to get over it. It's just >> um I mean, I see your prior service. I'm military as well. I had I'm a reserve. I had my drill weekend. Um I just graduated the drill sergeant academy in November. >> And from day one, I'm sure you know what we >> This is actually law enforcement, but >> Okay. Well, day one when I, you know, day zero, I'm sure you've seen shark attacks and stuff that we had >> from day one when I was at the academy, he fought with me every day. He doesn't like when I leave because of a history that we have >> when I leave for military. >> So, >> and that's got to be super stressful, too. >> Yes. >> I had my drill weekend this weekend >> and I stay on FaceTime with him. I share my location. I answer all his calls, all his text messages in a timely manner that he would like. >> Mhm. And I was at the gym and I wasn't answering them right fast enough for him. >> That when when were you not answering? >> Saturday. Saturday. Saturday. And I'm like, he was at a funeral. So I knew that we weren't going to be really talking on the phone anyways. And he's calling and calling and calling. And I answer and he hangs up, answer. And he's like, "Check your text messages." And then hangs up again. And I see I wasn't responding to his text messages and answering his questions, which was, "Are you off for the day?" And I said, "Yes, I am. Everything okay? what's going on >> and >> he's just like, "Why aren't you answering my text messages? You're leaving me on undelivered." >> Kelly described a marriage full of distrust and surveillance. The officer listened, but she kept guiding her back to the same question. And the closer she got, the more she struggled to answer. >> He was mad that my red receipts were off. And so, I still stayed on FaceTime with him, stayed on video cuz he wants me to FaceTime him 24/7 when I'm away from him. and and I was on FaceTime with him, but it just still wasn't good enough for him. >> And so it just started an argument from that day, from that moment around 4:00 >> on Saturday. >> On Saturday, >> okay, >> until midnight, he was saying he was going to himself. He had my kids with him. I was gone. And I just >> he's he's loco. And so, >> um, we argued that entire night and I'm just like, you know what? I can't do this. one of my drill sergeant leaders from the academy, we follow each other on social media. >> He swears that just because we're friends on social media that I'm him >> and it's not the case at all. And I tell him because he's so crazy and he reaches out to every single guy that likes a picture on my social media >> like, "What are you doing? What are your intentions with my wife? Why are you guys friends? Tell me." Like, he's crazy. And so I tell him, if you think that, like, reach out to all these people. At the end of the day, I'm a reservist. That drill sergeant leader is a reservist. He has a lot of connections. Who knows the networking that he and I can do in the future, >> right? So, he can't have male friends. >> He doesn't under I cannot have male friends. >> He does not understand that. >> And so, it just one argument led to another and I'm just like, I'm done. And then he's telling me he's kicking me out the house and all this stuff. So, I know how crazy he can get. He has locked me. He has emptied my bank account. He knows any he he's taken professional hacking courses. He knows how to hack into anything that I have. I >> do not have any personal identity outside of him because he gets into everything. >> He's a professional hacker in the military. >> So, one time he financially tries to paralyze me like doing this in ways that I cannot overcome. The conversation turned to whether things had ever gotten physical between them. And what came out next reached back years, well beyond anything that happened that morning. >> This morning, he was playing mind games with me >> and with me. >> Like, how was he doing that? What what was he what was he doing that about? >> Um telling me he wanted me out of the house by the time I was done with work, that I'm not I'm not going to be living there anymore. pretty much trying to >> um telling me like and I was trying to get the kids ready because we both mutually >> get them ready, take the kids to school and everything, but he wasn't letting me help get them ready. And I was like, "Okay, well, I made them breakfast. What are we going to do? Like, can I can I take the kids to school? Like, what is the plan this morning?" Cuz like and don't worry about it. I got it. >> What What did he accuse you of today, if anything? Oh, having multiple men over the weekend, entertaining other men in my DMs, just because I don't stop them when they tell me I'm pretty, nothing has gone further than a compliment. But because I don't stop them when they tell me I'm pretty and say, "You need to respect that I'm married. Don't tell me I'm pretty, he has a problem with it." >> So, has it ever gotten physical with you guys? >> Multiple times. >> Okay. What What has happened? >> I should have filed domestic on him before he did me. >> What happened in the other time? He's locked me in my closet. I have that one on video. >> He's locked me in my closet. [snorts] >> Physical abuse. >> When When did that happen? >> It was a while ago. It's like 2020, 2021. >> The officer had heard both sides, and the evidence left little room for debate. Kelly had shown up thinking she could explain everything away, but what happened next was not the outcome she expected. >> Did you put your hands on him today? I mean, if the answer is yes, I I want to hear the because, >> there is no because it's it's not right. There's no reason why. I >> I mean, I'm not justifying it, but at the same time, you can only be pushed so far. Did you just lose your cool? >> You said in the past you've been able to walk away. I tried a couple of times until he made it to where until he made it to where I wouldn't be able to >> Okay. Were you >> I'm sorry you I didn't mean to interrupt you. Go ahead. >> No, he's done it. I've done I've I've been able to walk but I have nowhere to go. >> Yeah. >> My friends have spouses. >> Mhm. >> Their own lives like >> Yeah. >> I have nowhere to go. >> So you feel trapped. Of course. >> Did you feel trapped today? >> It's not even that I felt trapped today. It was just like I hate that he wants to get the last word and and I don't care about letting him. It's not about getting the last word or not. It's just about him telling me him always threatening me with the children or with just life. >> Yeah. >> Finances and stuff. >> Did he do that today? >> Of course. >> What specifically did he threaten you with? >> Um that he was going to ruin my military career. Um that he was going to which he's done already in the past, contacted my chief command before. that he was going to mess up my career. Can you just tell me what's going to happen? >> Well, I I have to finish investigating what was alleged. Okay. And then we'll make that determination. I'm not trying to like play mind games with you or dance around things, but at the same time, I'm not going to tell you something that's not going to happen. Okay? So, hang out right here for just a minute. Put your phone down. Turn around. Put your hand behind your back. Right now, you're under arrest for um simple battery under the domestic violence act. Okay. Put your hands towards each other like they're like you're praying. >> Kelly was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery under the domestic violence act. Up next, when a husband called the officers to remove [music] his ex-wife from his home, he had no idea the situation would escalate to reveal a strange side of her. >> She has a problem. >> She drinks, she gets aggressive and violent and nuts. Why is she coming up on me like that? If she's there, >> he's doing this on purpose. Like he's literally sitting there. I literally want to kill him. I swear to God. No, you would not goddamn so. Here you go, girl. I'm crazy. >> On July 19th, 2025, officers in Escambia County responded to a domestic disturbance. By the time deputies arrived, both parties were already pointing fingers. And what each of them had to say would make it nearly impossible to tell where the truth actually ended. >> What's going on? >> What's that? >> Can I give you a page number? cuz this is not the first time. >> No, this type of situation, >> but I actually talked to >> She's my >> Can you step back in the car for me? >> So, she's my ex-wife. >> Uh-huh. >> I let her move back in. >> Can you step in the car for me? >> I can't cuz you broke my door handle. >> Not true. It opens. >> You did break my door handle. I cannot open the door. >> How did you get in the first time? >> Cuz I got in the other side of the door. If you keep arguing with them, you're going to end up in my car instead of yours. Okay, >> you can open the door. Would you like me to open it for him? >> Are you able to open it? >> How? >> Okay. It's just got to hold to one side. >> How long have you all been divorced for? >> 5 4 years. 2002. >> Okay. What happened today? >> Well, today when she she has an alcohol problem. Mhm. >> When she drinks, she gets aggressive and violent. >> Mhm. >> And I haven't talked to I called the other I called like about a week ago because I'm trying to have her removed from my house. I'm the sole owner, title owner of the property and she's a guest, but she's out waiter. She's outst of his drinking. >> On one side, the wife claimed her husband had been abused and had video evidence to prove it. On the other side, the husband told a different officer the exact same thing. He had videos showing she was the one acting violently. Both were hurling accusations, but only one story was about to hold up. >> What's going on? >> What's going on is that he is doing his manipulation and your deputy up there is like anti-women. >> He's just doing his job. >> Like I I understand. I understand. Trust me, I know. We were married for 20 years almost. We have a grandbaby. I just had like I don't know if you've ever been in my position before, but like being I'm 41 years old. I have four kids. I just had a grandbaby and I am like going through menopause right now and I have this and then you're looking at me like I'm crazy and I have this person act like I know I'm about to like >> my my hormones are literally through the roof right now. literally like he is an evil freaking human being. We have four sons together and we live here together. We just had a grandchild on Monday. This person has busted my lip yesterday. Literally have a video after video after video after video of him literally putting his hands on me to the point I almost passed out. My 10-year-old in there that will gladly tell you he walked out while I was passing out. And he's the reason why I'm alive right now cuz he walked into that. I have been multiple times. I have been dismissed, discarded, acted like, oh, whatever. Cuz I don't call the cops every time he does this. >> She I have it on camera. I've asked her to leave. >> She has a card. >> She's trying to act like she's afraid, but she's free to leave like the whole time that she's trying to get inside. >> Okay. Where do you >> Where do you have it on camera from? just from my I have like almost killed me. >> I have like four or five videos. >> See, even though you're on video camera, you can't like that. You cannot your elbow and me in the I know using earbuds the long [ __ ] You're not you >> back up away. >> I hate you. Oh, now we're going to lie. Now we're going to lie like that. >> She hit me again nuts. >> We're going to lie. >> Why is she coming up on me like that? If she's scared. >> You trying to hit me? >> Oh, really? Oh my go again. I'm going to defend myself. >> I will defend myself. >> You're going to jail, [ __ ] I'm done. >> This is the end. >> It turned out the husband had more than just one recording. As he continued showing video after video, the wife's claims of being the victim began to look less and less like the full story. There was one, maybe this is the one where she I was standing at the door, she ran up on me and I went like this and she fell down. >> Get out. Go ahead. You know what you mean? Get out of like you have put your hands on everybody, huh? How about that thing out from your 10-year-old to the point where I almost passed out when you walked out here. Huh? >> How about that? How about when you punch my lip in the car on the way to the hospital yesterday? Huh? You violated you. Let them come while you're sitting there. You think they have this bunch of juice back like you beat the out of women that sit there and act like they don't do anything. You think I'm the first one? You think you're the first one? Huh? You think that they're not going to notice? I'm done. I hope you're >> able to email all those. I swear to God my email if you can just select them all real quick. You deserve every bit of it. >> It's just nastiness. >> I believe I've been lost. >> What's the name of your son that was out here a second ago? That was also in the video. How old is he? >> He is 13. >> Did he see any of this? >> This? >> Mhm. Like anything that happened today? >> Today? Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah, for sure. >> They see it. Oh, >> let me say Gmail or male email. >> What uh what did this argument all start over? >> She'll get [clears throat] aggressive and violent with the kids and I said that's not going to happen. Then she walked outside locked the doors. Okay. And then I asked her to leave numerous times. >> How many? >> She refuses. >> How many times total does she shoot a day? >> Three. >> Three. Where at? >> Back of the head. Side of the head. >> Okay. It was it all open hand slaps or was it a closed hand at all? >> Close hand. >> Close hand. >> Just hang type thing. >> The wife kept circling back to the same point. She was the victim. He was the abuse. and everyone needed to believe her. >> Don't listen to him. Just tell me what happened in your words today. >> What happened in my words is I have not slept in 48 hours. I'm tired. My baby, my our oldest son just had a baby. They're in the hospital and they're in there for 10 days cuz he's got to be on antibiotics. So, I've been up there every day and I got to the point almost passed out because >> today? >> Yes, yesterday. Yesterday. Okay. Um Oh, multiple times. Like I love how he's up there showing it pretty right now. No, I swear to God I have multiple videos myself, too. Multiple videos. >> Well, don't focus. >> I I've hit my limit. I've hit my limit. I've hit my limit. I limit. >> Don't focus on what he's doing. It's >> Why don't we come Come over here on the side of the car. Okay. So, we're we're not going to focus on what he's doing. Where's >> that pop? Hey, don't focus. >> I know, but he's Oh, you're going to be in the back of my cop car cuz I know I'm crazy right now. I know I'm crazy. I know I'm crazy. Happily had him locked up multiple times. I have video after video of it locked all I have. I have permanent scars all over my body. Okay. I'm not the violent one. I am not the violent one. I hear you. I'm not I have been to a pulp. >> I have been to a pulp. Okay. He has He is a disgusting human being. Disgusting. Literally >> married for 20 years. >> Mhm. about tonight. >> I had one boyfriend that I was with for four years and then unfortunately because of that situation, I'm back here with him, leaving me with him because I don't financially have anywhere to go except for my mother's house. But I choose to be with my children and he doesn't care because he has to work. He's a sovereign citizen. He's not a he is not a uh citizen of the United States and he is doesn't follow rules or doesn't believe in the cops or anything else. He does what he wants to do and he does it just fine. He gets away with lots of stuff from you people. Lots. I've the crash out or whatever this whole little trend is going on. It's not a trend. And I'm doing it right now. It's happening >> and I can't stop it. Literally, I have four mother boys. I HAVE A GRAND BABY. I JUST HAVE A GRAND BABY. I'M A GRANDMA. I am like I don't like the cops right now. Like I do normally I do I do like cops, but right now they're not my favorite. Hold on one second. Just stay right here for me. While the wife kept trying to blame the husband, the officers noticed something. Every time they asked her to explain what happened today, she couldn't give a straight answer. Instead, she circled back to old grievances. And the more she talked, the harder it became to find the truth. >> She's not really saying anything about what happened today. She just keeps going on about he's beat her, he her yesterday, um her son, she hasn't slept in like 2 days. Um I she just keeps circling around and around and around. You're trying to think like what happened today and you're in his pocket and that's why blah blah blah blah like literally not getting anything about what happened today. >> Um talking to some people. >> Yeah. >> He just wanted to tell me what he's hearing. Okay. So what >> lies >> and that's fine. That's why I'm talking to you and trying to get your side of things. Right. So, what happened prior to us coming out here today? What caused us to get caught up? >> Okay. I took a nap literally like I've been up since 4:30 this morning while his lazy fat has been sleeping. And I'm sorry. >> It's okay. I know I'm being a lot. I know I'm being a lie. It's okay. I wish I could take you inside right now and give you a timeline. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and I am doing my normal thing. Cleaning the house and nobody else can. Four boys. Nobody cleans. We have two dogs. Nobody takes care of but me. And he's sleeping with his little light machine in his room, $7,000 machine that makes his frequency frequency machine. And here I am cleaning all goddamn day long. I lay down and took a nap. My ex-boyfriend from seven months ago, the only person I've been with in 20 mother goddamn years except for him, called me when I was asleep. He got the phone call. He got jealous and here we are. >> So, what happened when he got jealous? >> He got jealous. He uh sent a video saying, "Oh, here to my ex-boyfriend. I talked to my ex-boyfriend." I'm like, >> "I don't know what he's doing." Like, I broke up with that mother for a reason. He He's He went He's got a felony charge right now because he went and tried to bust his door down. My ex-boyfriend right now. >> The wife kept crashing out, her anger building with every passing second. She was screaming, cursing, and making threats, none of which were doing her any favors. The more she lost control, the clearer it became who the real problem was. >> Look at him with his little beard. Like he literally you meticulously did this. >> Stop looking at him. Okay. Don't focus. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. I'm not upset with you. Right. >> I'm sorry. He's doing this on purpose. Like he's literally sitting there. I literally want to kill him. I swear to God. Listen. I'm sorry. He seen my thing. I was sleeping. I took a nap. >> I took a nap. I've literally been doing everything in this house for six months. >> Yeah, >> I took a nap and he I don't care. You can text him. I don't care. He deserves it. That my employment is a piece of he deserves every bit of it. I hope he believes all the lies that he just got told. I don't care about that. What I care about is the fact that he I walked outside and he locked me out of the house and called the cops cuz he plays games constantly. Literally, this mother has me so much me to the point where I thought I was going to die. Literally, my 10-year-old watched watch me as my I was blacking out me to the point where my jaw clicks every time I open it for years. I have a scar on my back right here. >> Mhm. From him. Multiple scars on my body from him in the last 10 years. Multiple. However, guess who went to jail for 14 hours because they broke his poor little finger? Me. Which I'm glad I broke his goddamn finger. >> The officers had heard enough and the videos left little room for debate. After all the crash outs and playing the victim, the move they made next was something the wife never saw coming. >> Are you going to arrest me? Hands behind your back. Wait a minute. Put your hands behind your back. Please do not. >> Why are you arresting me? I want to know why you're arresting me. Wait a minute. >> Wait a minute. >> I have a right to know why you're >> really. >> I'm getting arrested. So he hit me. He literally physically hit me multiple times and I have video of it and now I'm getting arrested. >> So So I like literally my jaw is popping. I have on my body and I got literally physically hurt and I'm going to jail. This this is what kind of am I paying taxes to? This doesn't even pay taxes. >> I am a taxpaying citizen literally and you are going to put your hands on me. Get your hands off of me. Actually, you're going to put your hands on me after you like buddy buddy up with him. This uh sovereign citizen who does not pay taxes, hates all things conservative, and beat the out of me and then call the cops and now I'm getting arrested and you are pawn to his scheme. Here you go. Here you go. Here you go. >> You need to get all look at it, huh? >> Hold still. Spread your legs. Oh, let's do it. Huh? Let's do it. >> Down. >> No. No. Not taking a goddamn psych word, mother. You want to do it? Go ahead. No. Oh. Oh, I know you. Oh, I know you. >> No. You want to goddamn show? Here you go, girl. I'm crazy. You [ __ ] piece of white misogynistic cop. Oh my gosh. >> Oh. Oh yeah. Oh, you better be not black. You white mother racist. >> Oh, let him lie to you and and he's so whatever. The mother of his children and his grandchild. He's [ __ ] having arrested because he is a piece of I cannot wait to get you on Megan Kelly and Candace Owens and every goddamn thing else. Youing pieces of Seriously. >> Seriously, I cannot wait. Like I cannot wait. A mother of four and a grandmother who's never done any goddamn thing in her life and you're like stupid red mustache. Oh, won't you hurt me now? Cuz I'm making fun of your stupid. Yeah, you deserve every bit of it. >> I'm going to turn the other way. >> Grandmother. Grandmother. Suburban mother. And this is what you're doing. THERE'S PEOPLE OUT THERE SELLING GOD. >> But you're worried about me? >> Yeah, exactly. >> With the wife now in custody, the officer took a moment to explain the next steps to the husband. The process was laid out clearly. If he followed through, she wouldn't be able to return without facing jail time. >> Okay. This is a business card. It's got his name, his badge number, the case number on it. Do you need an ambulance for any reason? No. >> Do you mind if I take a couple pictures of you? >> Sure. >> Okay. Um, >> something I do have to explain to you is how to obtain a domestic violence injunction against it's an injunction for protection against domestic violence, also known as a restraining order. So, the second floor of the courthouse is under family law. It's free to file. Um, if you want a copy of the report to take with you, you are more than welcome to do that. You can request that to the sheriff's office. Um, or you can just take that. If you have any pictures, videos, images of injuries that you have, um you can print that all out and take that with you to submit as well. You are welcome to take an attorney, but you don't have to have one. >> That's entirely up to you. Okay. Um you said you don't need an ambulance for any reason? >> Nope. >> Okay. All right.
