Like I'll stop. Help me, please. >> These were the moments when crazy ex-girlfriends refused to accept the breakup. We begin with the case of a girlfriend who just wouldn't move on and when officers showed up to give her a final warning the whole thing went sideways. >> I promise you this. This is the last opportunity. You go to jail, you're going to sit in jail. >> I'm going to leave. I'm going to leave. I'm leaving, okay? I will I promise I'm leaving. >> Stop kicking me. Sit there and be an adult. >> On November 4th, 2025 officers responded to a call from a man who wanted his ex-girlfriend removed from his property. The girlfriend claimed she lived there but couldn't provide any proof of residency and the officers gave her every chance to leave on her own. But what came next would test their patience in ways they hadn't anticipated. >> All right, let's go. Let's go. We're not waiting. Let's go. Left. It requires a walk to your car. Let's go. I I promise you this. This is This is the last opportunity. You go to jail, you're going to sit in jail and we don't want to hear you crying and saying I won't do it again because at that point we've we've crossed that line of departure. You're going to sit there and and you're not going to come back here. Cuz we'll just go to the judge and say that this trespassing act will not stop. Hold her until her court date. You're choosing this. We're not choosing this for you. But we're being very patient and very kind cuz in normal situations we would already been on our way to the jail with you. Walk. >> Don't touch me. >> Walk. Walk. Walk. >> Don't touch me. I don't want to >> Let's go. >> The officers had given the girlfriend every opportunity to walk away without trouble, yet she refused each one. That decision was about to push the situation into territory no one saw coming. >> I know she's just going to sit in her car and not leave. >> That's fine. >> Now we have four century on her car and drag her out of here. What's that? >> What do you want to do? >> I mean I really really hate to have to four century on a car and take her to jail for obstructing. You know? >> I'm not doing anything. Oh, please. I'm leaving. I'm going to leave. I'm going to leave. I'm leaving. Okay, I will I promise I'm leaving. >> We're four past nine. >> Leaving now. I'm leaving. >> Yeah. >> I'm leaving. Ow. >> Get your ass out. Get your ass out. This one's good. >> I'm leaving. Ow, I said I would leave. >> Yeah, too late. We gave you like a thousand opportunities. >> to get out of the car. If I did what I did I did I got out of my car. >> No, you got out of your car to try to chase her. >> I wasn't trying to chase Please. >> Getting the girlfriend out of her car took far more effort than anyone expected. And what followed next would only make things worse than they already were. >> Please, I will leave. >> 22 George Foreman >> Please. Please, I will leave. I know I waited. I'm I promise I will leave. Please don't do this to me. >> We don't know what time We're going to get you like a game. Stop resisting. >> Please. >> Now you're resisting. You're resisting arrest. That's another charge. >> I'm leaving. You can't follow me. >> You're resisting. >> Please. >> Stop resisting. >> Please. I think you ow. >> Stop resisting. Get in the car. >> Stop. That hurts. That hurts. >> Get in the car. >> You are hurting. >> Stay in the car. What are you doing? >> Because I don't want to be arrested. I don't want to be arrested. >> You're already under arrest. >> I I'm sorry. >> You're already under arrest. >> I don't want to. Ow. >> Well, you should have listened to me. >> And I'm sorry. Okay, I'm sorry. Stop. >> Even sitting in the back of that patrol car, the girlfriend still hadn't calmed down. The things she started saying made one thing really obvious. She had no clue how much trouble she was already in. >> I said stop. >> I won't leave. >> it's too late. Stop screwing around. >> Please. Please. Please. I beg you. Please. I can't do this to my family. >> Seriously, this is ridiculous. Stop it. Stop. >> Stop. >> You're being ridiculous. You're acting like you're 10. You're going to get yourself hurt or one of us hurt. Sit there and be an adult. Tired of talking to you like you're two. >> I'm sorry. >> I don't care at this point. We're done. >> Pedro >> Stop kicking. Stop. >> Here, come here. >> You know what? >> Yeah. >> Hold that knee. Can you hold that knee over there? >> Yep. >> That's what I said I didn't want. You guys lied to me. They lied to me. >> You should have took your ass out of here. >> You're right. I should have, but I needed a psych eval. >> Shut up. >> Shut up? >> Shut your mouth. You wouldn't be here if you had taken your ass out of here when they asked you. >> Yeah, you You what? >> We wouldn't be in this situation >> I heard that. >> if you had taken your silly ass out of here when they asked you to. >> Yeah, and you know what? I was going to. I don't want to have anything on my record. I've never had I had maybe a few speeding tickets when I was in back in high school. I don't want this. I already went through so much with him. Is there anything you can do just just to prevent this from going even worse? >> We're way past that. [snorts] >> Can you at least not charge me with something that's going to be I don't know. Like I just >> [laughter] >> I'm scared of that. >> My god, I think you have to learn about consequences. >> I never did anything like this. How long am I going to be there for just so I can prepare myself? >> A couple hours. >> Please don't charge me with anything that will hurt me. Please. I'm sorry. Are these windows tinted back here? >> What's that? >> Are these windows tinted back here? >> Yes. >> So, I'm not seen >> What? >> Am I Am I seen by these children? How often do these instances happen that you [snorts] have to deal with? >> Every day. >> Is mine severe? >> Yeah, because you didn't listen. >> Well, I think I was trying to prove a point to Camille. >> No, you're not proving a point to him. >> Are they Are they Are they going to hurt me here? >> I don't know about that. >> Are they going to hurt me here? >> Are they going to hurt you? >> Mhm. >> No. >> I don't know. I hear horror stories about I don't know. I've never been here and I don't want to go in here. Can we turn around? I'm scared. >> Are you going to try to fight me? All right, cuz otherwise there's going to be like a whole army of guys coming out here to fight you. So. >> The woman ended up charged with criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, and aggravated battery to a peace officer. Next up, we have the case of a woman who was done with the relationship, but not done causing problems. And the chaos she created over a flat screen was just the beginning of what officers walked into. >> He got mad cuz I broke the TV. >> Why'd you break the TV? >> Because you wouldn't let me take it. It was my TV and I paid for it. >> She like threw herself at the door and got down to the ground. She's like >> That's my son though. >> Oh, okay. >> This thing between them two has been toxic for a minute now. >> On June 24th, 2024, officers in Arkansas responded to a call from a woman named Taylor, who said her ex-boyfriend, Aaron Tyler Rhodes, had pushed her during an argument about property. What started as a dispute over who owned the television quickly spiraled into a situation where one of them was about to leave in handcuffs. >> Is this where y'all live? Is he inside? >> He walked just outside, so I'm assuming he gets Oh, no, he's not. >> Okay. >> He just wanted to get pissed off now. He just wanted to >> Okay, step over here for me. Well, what happened? Run me through it. >> We just got in a fight an argument. I just wanted I stepped out. >> Okay. [snorts] What kind of argument? >> Yelling. >> Okay. Anything physical? >> No. >> Okay, why did you you told dispatch he pushed you. >> I He got in my face. >> Okay. Then what did he do? >> You want me to demonstrate it? >> No, you just tell me what happened. >> Well, he he just like pushed up on me inside back of the door. >> Okay. >> And with his hands, he's just a big guy. >> How did that make you feel? >> I'm just I just want to get my stuff out, please. >> Okay. Well, how did I got to I got to go through the I got to go through the whole question, you know. >> Startled. >> Startled like >> Scared. >> Scared of what? >> I didn't want to get hurt. >> So, you thought he was going to hurt you? >> Yes. >> So, he pushed you up against the door with like his chest? >> Uh his belly comes first. >> And like how close to his your face was he? >> He got mad cuz I broke the TV. >> Why'd you break the TV? >> Because he wouldn't let me take it it was my TV and I paid for it. >> Huh? >> So, we were tug-of-warring it. I was like, "You want TV so bad?" I pushed it off the shelf. >> Okay. >> And that's when he got mad. >> Okay. So, run me through the very beginning. >> Uh I took the bathroom cabinet down at the bathroom cuz I'm moving out this week. >> Okay. >> And he got mad cuz I was taking it and he got mad cuz cuz I'm moving. >> Okay. >> Cuz he thought I was staying longer and I said, "No, I'm not going to stay here this place." >> Okay. >> So, and I just fought from there and went to get my TV. >> Taylor had just finished walking the officer through what happened, the argument, the TV, the moment she felt threatened. But the story she told was only one piece of a much bigger picture. >> What happened after that? >> He He was in the bedroom with the kid I don't even know. He I went out here to my car and put in a suitcase in my car and I came back to get the TV. >> Okay. >> And we played tug-of-war with the TV. I went to unplug the TV and he pushed my hands away from it and I went to grab the TV. We played tug-of-war and started screaming. We started screaming. I was like, "Fucking want it." I pushed it and then he came up. And then I called the cops. >> Came up on you like, >> Like what what he >> Like if he if you're if you're him and he's uh guy with how was his fists? How was he? >> I don't know. >> How aggressive did he walk towards you? >> I mean, he was screaming at me and enough where he did push me back cuz he's a big guy. >> Okay. And he was up in your face? >> Yes. >> And you were scared that he was going to hurt you? >> Yeah, I I got backed up into the door, the door handle, and then I went to the ground cuz I was crying and scared. >> Like zero being no pain at all, 10 being the worst pain you've ever felt in your life. >> One or two. >> Okay. Will you step right here and will you fill out a statement form for me? Here, just step right here for me. Is he the one in the Casey shirt? Are y'all What's y'all's relationship? [music] >> He's my ex-boyfriend. >> How long did y'all date for? We step >> A year and a half. >> And how long have you been separated? >> Two months. >> But still been living together? >> Yeah. >> To further investigate the whole thing, the officer turned to Aaron Rhodes, whose side of the argument was about to sound very different from what Taylor had just described. >> What the heck happened today? >> Well, so I got home and a bunch of stuff was sitting on my washer. Okay. And I was like, "Hey, what's all this stuff doing all over the washing machine?" And she said, "Oh, I'm taking my shelf." I was like, "Oh, you're moving out?" She said, "Yep, I'm going to be out by the 1st." I was like, "Well, you told me you'd give me 30 days." It kind of sucks that you picked like right after I got injured. And I was off work for 3 days. >> You got a big old hole. >> It hurt my uh I bruised my ligament. Look at that. >> Got you. >> I was like, "It kind of sucks that you're like leaving me like that." So, uh she said, "You know what? It's whatever." And I said, "Well, I mean, if you are going against what she said in the 30 days, then why don't you get out right now?" >> That's what you told her? >> Yeah, and she was like, "I don't have to. I already paid rent this month." And I was like, "Okay, whatever, dude." So, I did leave that alone. My grandma, my grandpa and uh he said something about she was hanging out with some married dude and that was motorcycle. And uh I guess the dude's wife got mad. I was like, "See, I told you that was going to happen." Cuz she told me about it. I told you that was going to happen. So she starts freaking out telling me I need to mind my own business. One thing led to another, she starts like, "Well, I'm taking this TV." And I was like, "Don't take the TV. What are you talking about? You're taking the TV." >> The TV. She It's mine. So, she said it's hers. >> She gave my mom the money and I did tattoos and I gave her the money and I was like, "Here, since you bought the TV." So, I got the I bought I had the TV and when she went in there, she tried to grab it and I was like, "Whoa." And I I made sure I would not touch her. Do not touch her. So, I grabbed it from the top. I was holding it like this. And she kept on trying to shove me and she was pushing me with her shoulder. I'm like, "Dude, just leave the TV alone. Like, it's my TV." >> Mhm. >> And she was like, "You're not You're whatever." She throws it. So, it's on the ground and there it's broken. >> How did she get the TV? Like, if you were holding it away from her. >> Uh she So it's hard You have a TV stand right here. The TV's sitting on top of it. So, she goes over and she grabs it like this from the base and side and starts yanking on it. I'm sitting there holding it from this side and up here so it can't So, I try not to let her move it. >> Yeah. >> And finally, she just threw it. And she flipped the TV. So it's on the ground and there it's broken. It's all pieces are all hanging out. And then uh I got about this close to her. I was like, "Get the out of the house then. You broke my TV." >> got up in her face? >> [clears throat] >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I got right to right about right here. And she like threw her stuff at the door and got down to the ground. She was like, "Hey!" >> [snorts] >> And uh Yeah, she was like, "I'm letting them know you pushed me." I was like, "I didn't touch you." >> I got that. >> When you came at me, you know, I put my hands over here. Over the TV, I had my hands up here. I would not touch her. >> Aaron had just finished explaining his side, how he never laid a hand on Taylor, and how she was the one shoving him over the TV. But, the longer Aaron talked, the more the picture kept shifting, and what he said next only raised more questions. >> How'd that make you feel? >> How'd it make me feel? >> That she was when she was shoving you. >> Annoyed. >> Annoyed. And then were you were you scared at all? >> I mean, I'm a I'm a big dude. I'm not I'm not like worried that she's going to hurt me. And then she did, you know, I'm not That's not something that I'm too concerned with. I've been hurt worse. But >> Yeah, I mean, did did it hurt you like on a scale zero to 10, zero being no pain? >> hurt Okay. My ankle hurts. >> But But, that's from a different injury? >> Yeah. It was a little awkward trying to >> But, 10 being But, 10 being no pain at like >> That's like a three. >> Your ankle? >> Yeah. >> And this all happened here? >> Yeah. >> Was there any witnesses? >> Um I was talking to my grandpa, but not really. >> Okay. >> Unfortunately, that's what worries me the most. It's >> Do you think you So, you were Were you close to her face? Like When you said get out, was it like here? >> No. >> Okay. >> No, it was probably like from here to you. >> Okay. And how were your hands? >> I put them on my back. >> Okay. >> Penguin. >> Okay. >> Nothing. Nothing. She was like >> Ew. >> Slapped herself against the door, and she dropped down on the ground. I was like, "Ew. I'm scared." >> Okay. >> So, I walked to the kitchen. As soon as she was on the ground, I walked to the kitchen, and I was like, "Man, you are not going to say that I put my hands on me. You cannot say that. I would never never never." >> I got you. >> The officer still had another person waiting to speak, someone who had been watching this toxic situation unfold for months. >> Howdy, howdy. >> Howdy, howdy. >> How are you, sir? >> I'm doing good till I got woke up this morning. >> Yeah, did you see any of it go down? >> No, but the thing I That's That's my son-in-law. >> Okay. >> Oh, okay. >> This this thing between them two has been toxic for a minute now. >> Mhm. >> And one thing, he's an idiot. He runs his mouth. He don't know when to shut up. But he would never put his hands on her. >> Oh. >> So, if she's telling you he put his hands on her, he didn't. >> Oh. >> And she has threatened to call the cops and say that he has several times. >> Really? >> Yes. >> Mhm. >> My wife can testify to that. I can testify to that. And tell you I don't like that boy one bit because he he's learning he's growing, but he's doing it his way. >> Mhm. >> You know, he's only been out of prison a few years and he's never really held a job. Well, he's finally got him a job and he's working and he's trying to get into the groove of life. But this relationship they have is utterly so toxic, it's really unbelievable. >> Huh, okay. >> You know, they >> Mhm. >> They do things to piss each other off intentionally and then they fight about it. But he would never >> Oh, okay. >> never put his hands on a woman because he does not want to go to jail. >> Mhm. >> He he is a He's a registered offender. >> Yeah, yeah. Is this your This is your wife's son? >> Yes. >> So, that's your >> His name is Tyler Rhodes. >> Okay. How How long have you lived been together? >> Oh, oh, I've We've been together since before he got out of prison. I've known him since he got out of prison. >> Oh. >> Several years. >> Oh, okay. But you didn't happen to see anything? >> No, I was over here asleep. My wife said 8:00 or 6:00 I'm coming over there. And she called the cops on him. And I said, "Okay, we talked about this yesterday. You said it was coming because they had big fights I mean, they fight every day. >> Mhm. >> Every day. And they're not even together. >> Mhm. >> They're not even in a relationship. They're roommates. >> Oh, okay. >> But he's brought women over, it's pissed her off. She had a dude over the other night. And it just >> Okay. >> Yeah, there's a lot of backstory to this. >> Jeez. >> Stepfather had just finished describing the toxic living situation, but the officer still had two conflicting stories. Taylor was about to show the officer something that would make one version of events a lot harder to believe. >> Hey Taylor. >> Yeah. >> Hey, I got a couple questions for you. >> Okay. >> Hey. Um Let me ask you this, and I want you to be honest with me. When y'all were fighting over that TV, were you shoving him first? >> No. >> You weren't? No. >> I had a hold of the TV. >> Okay. Whose TV is it? >> My TV that I paid for, and I sent his mom the money for it. >> He's saying he paid the money. >> Of course he does, but I have it on Cash App. >> Okay. How long have you had that TV? >> A couple months. >> And let me ask you this. Did you throw yourself against the door? >> No, I did not. >> He just backed Like he just backed you into it or Can I take that over there? >> No way, that's mine. >> Okay, can I ask you Can I take this over there? I'm going to listen [laughter] to it with the other guys. Yeah. Yeah. Did you hear what you said? Get out. >> [laughter] [laughter] >> Hey, do you have email? Can you send it to me, please? >> With that recording now part of the picture, the officer didn't hesitate and the decision he made next caught Aaron completely off guard. >> Hey, still under Miranda. I'm going to ask you a couple more questions. Is that good? >> Okay. >> So, I just listened to a recording that she had going. >> Yeah. >> Did you call her? >> Yeah, I did I did I did tell her she >> Okay. >> She was messing all up the merry-go-round. >> Okay. Did you [ __ ] Did you get up in her face closer than you're what you're telling me? >> No, I didn't get like on her, no. I said I I don't I just I know how she is. I don't ever want her to be able to say that I put my hands on her or nothing. >> Okay. Well, she's not saying you put your hands on her. >> Yeah. >> She's saying she get you got so close to her your belly was touching her. Would that be right? >> I doubt it. >> You doubt it, but you don't know. >> I doubt it. I There's no telling, but >> I just said I I I I just threw my hands back. >> Did you lunge at her and say you stupid like you like you Did you lunge at her? >> No, just be honest with me, man. >> When I when I called her the That was when she threw the TV. >> Okay. >> I I stepped back and was like, "You stupid Mhm. I said she's been >> All right, step up here for me, man. Go to that front of that car right there. All right, go ahead and put your hands behind your back. Yeah. >> I'm going to jail. >> Assault Assault third. >> And in third degree? She said I didn't put my hands on her. >> That's battery so make somebody feel physical harm. >> There's no way. >> So, assault is fear of harm. >> Yeah. >> I mean, she was shoving me. She was the one shoving me, and I was >> But, wait, hey, you have your day in court, okay? Face that way for me. Say 7090 215. >> And She thinks she was a fear of physical She's not afraid. She knows she's not afraid of me. She's just saying that. Before Okay, and how about this? When we talk threat of danger, before she walked out of the house, she said, "I'm going to make sure you get everything you deserve." That scares the [ __ ] out of me. And I did not touch her. >> Standing in cuffs, Aaron was still trying to explain himself, but the charge he was facing had nothing to do with a punch, and that reality was already sinking in. >> I don't want her to get in trouble. I just wanted her to I just wanted her to grab her stuff and leave. >> Heidi, you want to take >> I'll physically go talk to Jerry. >> Yeah. >> Who's Jerry? >> He's my landlord. >> Okay. >> Cuz I'm probably going to lose my job, and And >> Got it. >> And Is there any way I can just not go? >> No, I got to take you, man. >> Aaron was charged with third-degree intimidation of a family or household member. Moving on to the case of a woman whose drunken meltdown at her sister's house set off a chain of events that nobody in that family saw coming. >> She beat me up, and she broke my toes. >> And you're by yourself? Are you by yourself? Tell me what went on. >> I don't know. >> You What do you mean you don't know? >> I'm of my age. I'm 22, but I don't know what happened. >> You want her to come back in here and destroy the >> Stop! >> You guys are acting like children. >> I lost everyone. >> On September 22nd, 2024, [music] officers in Grants, New Mexico, responded to a call from a woman named Samantha, who said her sister, Shannon, had wrecked her home while heavily intoxicated. Shannon had just found out her boyfriend had cheated, and what started as a family crisis was about to spiral [music] into something much messier. >> Open the door! Grants Police Department! >> 207 Kayla residence for previous calls. >> 212. 212 regional. Uh they're inside, however they're not answering the door. >> Excuse me, there is my sister. >> Open the door. No, she's not out here. Open the door. What happened? Step outside. >> It's my house. My sister just went through a wall. >> Okay. >> She beat me up, and she broke my toilet. >> And you're by yourself? >> Yeah. >> Are you by yourself? >> Yeah. >> I'm call making a 2545. >> Yeah, but she literally broke my toilet. >> What happened? >> I think she just she's going through a really hard time. >> Okay, that's okay. >> want to like >> It's okay. Hold on. Shannon, hold >> at her. She needs to listen. You need to also calm down, okay? >> Officers found Shannon hiding under a blanket, barely dressed, and barely able to answer questions, while Samantha tried to piece together what happened. But, [music] the story she was telling now wasn't going to stay the same for long. >> How much alcohol have you guys had today? Not that bad, but some. Enough to get Five what? What is your name? Do you live here or no? >> No, I own this place. >> Oh, okay. You own it? It's not your mom's? >> No. >> And you don't want to press charges for sister breaking your toilet? >> Yes. Listen, it's just me. I'm going to get you dressed, okay? All right. Those are your pants right there? Why aren't you don't you have clothes on? >> Because it's it's me my sister. >> Okay, put some clothes on. Hurry. Here, let me see >> the blinking mirror. I'll put it >> Can you hold it like that? Thank you. >> Here's the Here's the hoodie. We're not playing magical balls. >> I was like I was like I'm so sorry. You know I'm sorry. >> Samantha, let's go back. >> Okay. >> Samantha had just finished telling officers that Shannon never actually hit her, contradicting the earlier claim that she'd been beaten. But the confusion was only deepening, and Shannon's version of some basic details was about to make things even harder to untangle. >> Tell me what went on. >> I don't know. >> What do you mean you don't know? >> I'm of my age. I'm 22, but I don't know what happened. >> What's her name, Ethiopia? >> Please, I'm so sorry. >> Okay, just take a breather, okay? You're not making anything better by this act acting like this, okay? >> Basically, we have all these drinks, and I saw her and that's her fault. >> Like this? >> You have all these drinks? >> But it's the Gatorade, like you know, like >> Okay. You've been drinking? >> Everything. No. She came over to my place. >> Today? Okay. >> Like an hour ago, and she said cuz her man cheated on her, and I told her it's okay. And I told her to stop crying, it's okay, and she's like, "No, Sam, how could he do this to me?" And I told her that stop and like making [snorts] a scene. I said, "Stop." >> Were you guys fighting? >> Mhm. >> How did she end up naked? >> Cuz she was I told her she's like, "Sam, can I take a shower?" Sam, when I said, "Yeah." I said, "Go ahead." I was like, "I have clothes for you." And I was like, "You can shower, Sam." Or Shannon, I was like, "Don't feel bad. It's nothing like that." And she took a shower and >> How did she break the toilet? >> Cuz she just threw it over. She just threw it over. >> Has she been drinking? Have you been drinking? >> I think she was hurt cuz like she said that her baby daddy >> punch you, scratch you, kick you, bite you? >> Excuse me, now. >> Head butt you, nothing? >> Nothing. I just was trying to take care of her. >> How much have you had to drink tonight? >> Me and my sister relaxed and my baby daddy left me. You broke her phone Thomas got in here with my phone and it's gone. >> And you were doing what with >> My phone. My sister broke her phone and slammed it against the wall and so I was helping her with mine. >> And then what happened? >> I don't remember. I don't >> Because you drank too much? >> Yes, I don't know. >> Shannon told the officer she was 22 while Samantha insisted she was 18. With two different accounts, the officers still had one more voice to hear from before they could sort it all out. >> Tell me about how that couch got like that or the the toilet. How did the toilet get like that? >> Her whole her house been broken. >> The toilet that just broke. >> The tree outside she's been cut down because it wouldn't >> Listen to me. The toilet. How did the toilet get broken and water in the hallway? >> It's been broken. >> Your sister just told me that you broke it. >> No, she had to cut this tree down for the toilet to flush and I didn't do it. >> Chill out. >> I never did it. >> Stop. Stop. >> I know. >> Stop. Stop. >> I didn't do it. >> You're not making anything better. >> So, has she been drinking? >> A little bit, probably, but >> Follow my finger. Don't don't turn your head. Just follow my finger. Don't turn your head. Just follow my finger with your eyes. I'm not So, you haven't had nothing drink? >> Probably later than that, but she came over to my house, so. >> I know. >> This is my house. >> a simple question. Have you had any alcohol today? Has she had alcohol today? >> A little bit. >> Cuz you had >> mom's going to get her. My mom's going to get her. I don't want her to go to jail. My mom's literally going to get her. This is her phone and this is her baby. >> Okay, so she got she got upset because her man cheated on her. She didn't hit you. But, she's not following instructions over here. >> And I don't know. She never been involved with cops. That's why I don't trust her. >> 18. >> How old are you? >> 23. >> Shannon was placed under arrest for being drunk and disorderly, but the drama didn't end there. The arrival of their mother brought a fresh wave of anger and she wasn't there to calm things down. >> What happened with these these arms right here? How come you have bruises all over you? >> daddy [ __ ] smashed my arm and stomped on me. >> Listen, you are not the one in charge here. Don't pull away from me. Don't talk [laughter] over me or we're going to go to the police station. >> Put your arms down. Put your arms down. Stop. I >> Stop. Get up. Get up. Get up. Get up. >> Say it. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Say it. They're arresting me. They're arresting me. Say it. >> Come on. >> Say it. Please, please tell my sister I love her. >> Yeah, as soon as you settle down, as soon as you settle down. As soon as you settle down. As soon as you settle down. Can you settle down for 5 seconds? >> Yes, yes, I will. Say it. >> Stop talking. You said you would settle down. I need you to settle down. Stop moving. What is your name? >> Shannon. >> Shannon what? >> Cody. >> Shannon Cody. Do you have a driver's license or anything on you? >> Yes, my wallet. It's in her house. Please. >> sit down. But uh my pants was wet because of that. >> What What are you I'm not smelling alcohol on her. There's negative HGN that I can see. >> She's She's drunk. >> Are you drunk? No. >> No. >> She's drunk. >> just hurt my toilet, bro. >> Yeah, my bad. She's She's drunk. So, you want to press charges against her? So, she's 18, DUID? >> She'll go for DUID. >> Okay, I can do that. >> That's a good question, but they're both drunk. Toilet's been broken. There was some fighting going on. I don't know what's going on with her and her personal life, but it sounds like some things are going on that she's kind of acting out, right? >> Yeah. >> Their mother showed up ready to hold both daughters accountable, and she wasn't holding back. Samantha had been causing a scene, desperate to keep her sister out of jail, but the officer told her something that finally made her calm down. >> I appreciate you guys, for >> Well, she'll be safe tonight. She's just going to go for DUID, drunk and disorderly. >> Wait, she's going to jail? >> Yeah. >> Why? >> Why? Cuz you clearly can't take care of her. >> What do you mean? >> She destroyed the house. >> And I said I'm not going to press charges. >> Yeah, but we're taking her for disturbing the peace and drunk and disorderly. >> and >> She's going to sober up and be out the very next day. >> want her to. >> What do you What do you want this to escalate? >> I want her to leave. >> So, you want You want her to come back in here and destroy Stop! You guys are acting like children. >> You're about ready to go, too. >> You need to take her to the jail, too. She needs to sober up. >> Yeah, I can't take her if she's drunk in her house. I can't do that. >> She was fighting in my apartment 2 days ago. >> So, I That's 2 days ago. There's nothing I can do about it today, okay? >> How drunk is she? >> She's She's drunk. She can't even walk on her own. Oh, when When is When can she get up? Probably tomorrow. >> Tomorrow? >> Yeah. >> Okay, I'll pick her up tomorrow, okay? >> Thank you. Hey, do you What is her I'm sorry. What is her name? >> Um Shannon Cody. >> You're going to end You're going to end up in jail, too, if you don't go inside your house. Go inside your house. >> Best thing would be to put them in the jail. Let them sober up. >> Um Shannon, S H A N N O N O N, and it's Cody? >> Yeah. >> She Did you get her information? >> I got hers. If the next time you yell out here, I will break this door down and I will take you to jail myself. Shut the door. Shut the door. >> Then why are you arresting my sister? You got me and it's not that deep. >> With Shannon now in the back of the patrol car and Samantha staying behind, the ride to the station became a moment of raw reflection. >> See me dance. That is the morning of grace. I can't do this. I lost everyone. I lost everyone. >> Hey, your mom and your sister are still here for you. You're just too intoxicated. >> I'm sorry, you guys. I'm sorry. >> It's okay, Shannon. >> It's no. I'm >> Are you Is your middle name Pearl? >> Yes, this is the first time I got arrested. >> Okay. Don't be scared. You don't want to act the fool in front of a bunch of people. >> I did already. >> I know. Good thing it was just the cops. >> That's a word. >> I know, but it's going to be okay, okay? >> I know. I never been here. >> You're going to You're going to go in. You're going to sleep. You're going to wake up the next day and be right out. >> In the end, Shannon was charged with obstructing justice. Next up, we have the case of a woman who couldn't take no for an answer. After breaking into her ex's home more than once, her latest [music] late-night visit was about to come with hard consequences. >> How did we know that she was in here tonight? >> Ow. >> Yeah, did we have a panic button? >> We got cameras. I seen her. >> Stop resisting. >> They looked on the camera and they seen her take an hour to pick the lock to get in. >> On July 3rd, 2023, officers in Sarasota, Florida, responded to a call about a woman who had broken into her ex-boyfriend's home while he was asleep. The homeowner had surveillance footage that was about to tell a story no one expected. >> How you doing? Officer Reynolds, Sarasota PD. Uh what's going on? >> Well, the other night she broke in. We have her on camera. One of the officers has seen the footage of how long she spent an hour breaking into the house. >> Okay, who is she to you? >> She's nothing to me. She's been told to stay away from here for over a year. >> Okay. >> She's an ex-girlfriend of the guy inside. You don't want to hear that. >> I like straight up to you guys. >> Okay, he He was passed out because that's what he does. He works hard. >> Where's he at? >> He's inside. He works hard, he falls asleep. >> Is he supposed to be in there? >> Huh? >> Is he supposed to be in there? Is he allowed to be in there? >> Whoever this other person is. >> No, she's not supposed to be in there. >> No, not she, he. >> Yeah, he's supposed to >> He's allowed to be in there. Okay, we need to >> other standing people other than the female. >> Pardon? >> We're not looking for anyone else other than the female. >> No, just her. >> Okay. Okay. All right. Um how long ago did you guys park up? >> This session. >> It's been I don't know. 45 It was before my birthday. >> Right. >> So January? >> January? Okay. All right. So, how did we know that she was in here tonight? >> How? >> Yeah. Do we have it on a camera >> We got cameras. I seen her. He's seen her. He's seen her. >> Okay. Okay, where did you see her at? >> I didn't see her until I woke up. >> And where did you see her at? >> She's in my bathroom. >> In the bathroom? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Does she suffer from any sort of like >> mental illness or anything like that? >> We We believe so because this is a continuous thing. >> Okay. Are you living here full-time? >> Yeah. >> You do. Okay, all right. This These are all questions I got to ask. You know my job is to ask a lot of questions. >> This just you know we're not calling you, but it's >> Are you guys wanting to Are you wanting to press charges? >> Yeah. >> The homeowner had just explained that the ex-girlfriend had been told to stay away for over a year. Officers began searching the property and the place they finally found her hiding was about to make an already strange situation even harder to believe. >> I'm not. Wait, I can pull it up. Let me get my arm up, please. >> Stop resisting. >> I can't get my arm up. Let me get my arm up, guys. >> No, no. >> Stop. >> Get your arm up behind your back. >> I can't do it. I can't do it. >> Stop. >> I'm trying to do it. Stop. I'm trying to Why are you doing this? I thought you were looking for the other guy. I don't know. >> Stop. >> Take your arm off. >> put my pants on? >> No, walk. >> Walk, walk. >> Walk. >> Come on. >> Ronald was chasing me. Please help me out. Can you put my pants on? What's the Can you put my pants on, please? >> Walk. >> No, may I have please? >> You have You have bottoms on. >> But I have underwear on. >> Oh, that's That'll do for now. >> I can't do it. I don't mind. Put me in the car. I can walk. Just stop. Please. Stop. You're walking so fast. >> We're barely walking. >> You >> Why were you hiding in the bushes? >> Because Ronald was chasing after me. And he was threatening me. He was threatening me. He called the cops. But I was scared. I was scared. He was threatening me. He called the cops. And Ronald was he threatening me with a gun. >> With the ex-girlfriend now in custody, the homeowner walked the officers through the camera footage and a history of similar incidents. What he told them made it very clear this wasn't a one-time lapse in judgment. >> She's never lived here. She was an ex of the witnesses are in here tonight. They stopped dating back in January. They said he had He's had a formal trespass done, but I haven't verified any of that. >> Okay. >> And then I guess we have some stolen gas cans. >> I haven't walked over there yet, but that is what I was just told, yes. >> Okay. >> If we should If you look at your report, you're you're going to see that just last Wednesday morning at 6:00 in the morning, she broke in. >> Okay. >> He called the police. It was somewhere around 7:00 8:00 in the morning. >> Got you. >> But as of today, it's under investigation. >> looked at the camera and they seen her take an hour to pick the lock to get in cuz she knows he sleeps like a log. >> Okay. >> When he sleeps, he'll never wake him. I had to bang on the door to get him up. >> someone detained now? >> Yeah, she's in my car. >> Okay. >> She said she's detained. >> Okay. >> I think so. >> What's it look like? >> Do you have a car to show up? >> A little red can. >> We don't We can't We can't take things that are stolen. Is it your gas can or not? >> How can I tell if I don't know? >> That's why I asked what color it was. >> Yeah. >> What No, what brand is it? >> Let's go look at the gas can. >> It's a red gas can. >> On the way to the station, the ex-girlfriend's protests from the backseat made one thing very clear. She had no idea how much trouble she was already in. >> You want me to have patience, but I don't understand how how you could just dismiss this so so quickly or whatever you call it and then arrest him without proof. >> I have We have proof, okay? >> No, what proof? >> Okay. >> No, see, tell me. >> Okay. >> Tell me. >> All right. >> Baby, I understand this guy has it out for me, please. >> Okay. >> I don't want to do this. >> I know. I got you. >> Ma'am, please help me. No, help me, please. I was safe to leave me. I know it's locked up. >> All right, you ready to walk for me? >> [laughter] >> Stand up. >> No, this is not fair. >> All right, come Legs out. >> Can you please fix this thing so my underwear don't show, please? >> Fix what? >> Can you please >> Hey, we'll see if we can get you some pants when we get in there, okay? >> Can you just fix it before I just put the band-aid over my bum, please? >> Stand up. >> You guys know this is not right. >> Here, turn around. Turn around. >> He didn't He didn't He didn't even tell you that I stole anything or that I stole anything. >> That's not That's false. >> Well, what if he told you that? >> I'm not Listen, I'm not I'm not asking you any questions, okay? I don't have to ask you questions about this. Okay. It Well, it is fair. I'm doing my job. >> This is not your job. You're You're going based on assumptions. >> Can you turn the car off? >> Please tell me I'm not crazy that you're going based on assumptions. >> The ex-girlfriend was charged with trespassing in an occupied structure, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of illegal items. [music] In this next case, a girlfriend who went through her boyfriend's phone didn't like what she saw, and what happened next made him regret ever leaving it unlocked. >> Go upstairs. >> Look. >> Go upstairs now. >> All right. Hey, stop it. >> I didn't know. >> Stop. Stop. [music] >> [screaming] >> I'll seat you in the back until we can get a female deputy to search you. Okay? >> On December 24th, 2023, officers responded to a residence after a domestic disturbance was reported between a woman and her boyfriend. What initially seemed like a minor argument quickly revealed something far more complicated beneath the surface. >> He's trying to tell her she's got to leave now. She doesn't want to leave, but >> Okay. What's the situation here? >> He just wants me to leave, and I'm not going to leave. Like, I live here, too. >> You live here? >> Yeah. >> Who lives here? >> Yeah. >> Do you have kids? >> Yeah, we have kids. >> Okay. How long have you been together? >> 7 years. >> Okay. How long have you been living here? >> Uh 2 years. >> He just told me it's been a few days. >> No, like we just got back together, so I just moved in. But we've been living here since last August. >> When did you move out? When did you move out? >> Like, 2 months ago. >> Okay, and then you moved back in 3 days ago. >> Yeah, a couple of days ago. I just turned on the electric. I mean, I'll leave. It's not a problem, but he's not going to keep sitting there trying to harass me. >> Right. >> I told him to go upstairs. >> With you With you having moved out 2 months ago and then moving back in 3 days ago, I mean, technically, that would violate the residency Um, far as you having an residency. >> The girl insisted she lived there, but her boyfriend said she didn't. And with a 7-year relationship, a shared child, and a move out that had happened just 2 months prior, officers were walking into a situation with no clean answers. Later, she revealed all she claimed to want was her belongings. Officers tried to make that happen, but neither of them could keep it together long enough to let it. >> What? I mean, what do you want me to do? You want me to convince him to let you stay or >> No, just let me get my stuff and get my stuff in my car. That's it. >> Okay. What's his name? >> Demitri. >> Is it down here? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What's up, bro? If you want, just just hang out over there and I'll talk with them. So, she just wants to grab her stuff and go. >> Right there. >> So, >> That's all she brought from the home, guys. >> She got anything else upstairs? >> you got to ask her. >> Okay. What y'all came for? Huh? >> Actually, I don't know what y'all came for. You ain't even said nobody, you ain't did nothing. But her stuff downstairs. >> Okay. She doesn't have anything else in there? >> No, upstairs. >> [music] >> Is that all you have? You said that everything that you have is on the porch. >> Yeah, right there. The rest of my stuff I put in my car. >> So, all you need is what's here? >> I just want to grab >> Okay. Hey, boss, can you move off the stoop so she can grab it? >> Nah, go over there where I was. I ain't did nothing to her. >> Go right back upstairs where you belong. >> Hey, we're not going to do that. >> Go back upstairs. Go back upstairs. I don't want you staying in it. Go back upstairs. >> You grab your stuff so we can go. >> It's not your house. It's not in your name. Go upstairs now. >> Okay, listen. We're not going to do that. >> Go. >> Stop. Stop. Man, Okay, now we can walk back to the sidewalk. >> Go upstairs. >> Man, come on. Come on. Let's go. >> Go upstairs now. >> I'm not here to yell at people. Let's go. What's your name? What are we doing? >> Go upstairs. Go upstairs. >> Look. >> Go upstairs now. >> All right. >> In one moment, any sympathy anyone had for her vanished completely. The suspect kept telling the victim to go away, which he kept denying, and it resulted in a violent outburst. >> Hey, stop it. >> Honey, no. >> [screaming] >> Stop. Stop. >> [laughter] >> Stop. Stop resisting. >> I'm going to taze you if you don't >> [screaming] >> Same form of domestic abuse. >> [laughter] >> He's double locked. >> Why did we do that? We Why did we do that? >> No. >> No, you need to for a second think about what the Christmas Eve, you had to do that? Come on. >> Officers immediately put her in handcuffs, and then the real reason behind her breakdown came out. She was a girl unable to move on and couldn't stand her boyfriend moving, too. Suddenly, [music] everything made a lot more sense. >> Why did we do that? >> Cuz I'm heartbroken. He was supposed to be home to watch that game, and he was out all night with her. I don't like that. >> But but now you're going to jail on Christmas Eve. Being heartbroken wasn't for [snorts] something silly. >> He's been hurting me this bad for a while, and you don't see that. You just got to deal with domestic violence on me. >> And guess what? You just gave me exactly what you wanted. >> been hanging out with the same girl he was hanging out with the day he got locked up, the night he before he got locked up. >> And guess what? >> And she's going to come and be here. Like, come on. >> And now she's going to be here, and you're in jail. You gave him exactly what he wanted. Come on. >> [snorts] >> It's ridiculous. You're not dumb. Do you have any weapons on you? >> No. >> Okay. Have a seat in the back until we can get another female here to search you. go. Um No, she won't be out tonight. So. >> Okay. >> All right. Probably not tomorrow or Christmas Day. She probably won't bond out tomorrow either. So, probably Tuesday. >> Okay. All right. >> All right. >> All right. Thank you. >> In the end, the suspect was charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest. Next up, we have the case of a jealous ex who couldn't [music] stomach the thought of her man moving on. And the meltdown that followed landed her in the back of a patrol car. >> He's a crybaby. >> What's going on? >> I'm not doing nothing. I'm standing in my front door. >> What's going on? Stop. >> Stop grabbing me. >> I'd rather charge a young lady. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> She swung about four times right there. >> Okay. >> And the one time got me in the head. >> On September 9th, 2025, officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance. And what they found once they got the door open made it clear this had already gone far beyond a shouting match. >> Right here, please. Where's she at? >> She's in the bedroom filled with that >> She's in the bedroom. Okay. >> Step out here, man. >> You ain't doing nothing. >> Uh Taylor, she's nice. >> Come on. >> What's going on? >> Do you want me to take him to the car? >> I got my weapons right here. >> I'm going to drop it. >> All right. >> What's talking about? >> Pipe up. >> What's the plan? >> Hey, sweetie. I think I'm going to step out here. >> No. >> For a second. >> Okay, what's going on? >> You all right? I got you. Is there anything else Anybody else in the house, man? >> He's a crybaby that that likes to hurt me. >> Stop. >> Oh my god. >> What's going on? Put your dog up so it won't get bit. >> Hey, my baby. >> Listen, pipe up. What's going on today? >> I got to take my dog out. >> He's stepping in dog poop. Hey, what's going on? Hey. I'm not going to ask you again. Chill out. What's going on? >> Officers were met with a tense scene the moment they arrived, finding a man standing off to the side, visibly shaken, while a woman shouted from the doorway behind him. But the second the officer tried to get involved, her behavior made their next move an easy one. >> I'm not doing nothing. I'm standing in my front door. >> Hey, but what's going on? Hey, stop. >> Stop grabbing me. >> Face, I don't think so. >> Huh? >> Absolutely not. >> You got her? >> Yep. Once Taylor's aggression toward the officers crossed the line, there wasn't much left to discuss but to cuff her and place her in the back of the patrol car. With her secured, officers finally had the chance to turn to the boyfriend and hear his side of what had actually happened. >> All right, man. What up? >> Who Do you want EMS? >> No, it's just a little bit. She was just swinging and uh it barely nicked me. >> You kind of >> Yeah. >> So >> [music] >> I was trying to go for the arm. I'd have rather charged a gun than a >> knife. >> Yeah. >> And uh >> [music] >> Yeah, she just got me a little bit. >> Okay. Yeah. Let me Did she get you anywhere else or just >> Not that I know of. >> Okay. You care to turn around I'mma just double check, make sure Okay. Yeah. All right, I'm going to take a picture of that real quick. >> Sorry I'm shaking. >> Uh you're fine, man. All righty, so from the very very beginning >> Woke up >> Whenever Okay. >> a piss. Um >> Okay. >> Apparently she went through my phone. I have a contact with Jay. Um I have a friend named Jay. She deleted every single female on my phone >> Okay. >> because I mean, I had to do the same thing just because >> What? >> giving her the same treatment she was giving me. >> Yeah. >> Woke up, went to go piss, she freaked out saying who the is Jay? This is Jasmine, this is Jasmine. I'm like, I don't know, you deleted her off my phone. I do have a buddy named Jay. >> Okay. >> She called >> Yeah. >> My buddy didn't answer, his girl answered, and so she freaked out. And she said, I told you, I told you, grabbed the knife from in there and then >> I >> tried calling you guys once and it's like, no, I'm just going to call her mom. Her mom was like, can you text me? I'm like, she's got a knife, I'm just going to call the cops. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Her mom usually can calm her down, but she was a knife in >> Yeah. Yeah, you know, you did the right thing. >> 100%. >> According to the boyfriend, the whole thing had started over something as small as a saved contact in his phone. What followed was a heated argument that quickly escalated, and by the end of it, he had a small cut on his hand. Even so, the victim was about to prove he didn't have it in him to make things any worse for Taylor. >> Do you want to pursue charges on her behalf? >> Yeah. No, she just needs to get back on meds. >> You don't want to pursue charges for her stabbing you? >> I mean, it's a little nick. I'm not >> It's up to you, man. Hey, it's anyone to contact, it does not matter. >> Yeah. >> I mean, she's going to jail regardless, she fought one of our officers, she's going to jail. >> Jesus. >> Yeah, so it's um it's if you want to pursue charges against her. It's totally up to you. >> No, let her deal with that. I'm I just need as a witness. I mean, I can't I'm not going to hit I'm not going to >> Most >> Well >> That's that's what I meant. >> crazy, I mean >> I'm not I'll be honest, I ain't been out too long, but I do know that that's it for now. >> As serious as it had been, the boyfriend told officers he just wanted Taylor to get help.
