This video is part one of a two-part series. This arrest happened on April 6th, 2025 when Amara was taken into custody at Orlando International Airport after reports she struck an employee. Just over a month later, on May 10th, she was arrested for shoplifting at Target, allegedly attempting to leave with $145 in merchandise. The case that went viral after her court appearance spread online, which many of you probably saw or heard about this story. Many online have described her as mentally disabled, and reports that she spent nearly 50 days in jail sparked outrage. According to court records, she missed a July 9th pre-trial conference. A bench warrant was issued July 10th. She was taken into custody on September 16th, and on September 17th, she entered a no contest plea and the case was closed. We've requested the full target bodywn camera and are awaiting its release. In the meantime, this first arrest for battery shows what happened before the headlines. So say again, show me the video what happened. >> That's when she went up and hit you. >> Yeah, that was her first time. She hit you there. Okay. Open fist, open hand.
