On July 24th, 2025, surveillance cameras captured a woman entering a Walmart with her boyfriend. Loss Prevention immediately recognized her, familiar from a previous theft that had gone unnoticed at the time. As the two moved through the aisles, they grabbed a second cart and began transferring items from the first. After abandoning the original cart, they continued shopping with the new one until they went off camera. When the footage cuts to the checkout area, the woman is seen placing items from the cart into her bag while waiting in line. while Walmart security kept her under close watch until law enforcement responded. >> So, here's here's why. I just saw my outside. >> They're inside right now. They're going they're paying for the stuff that's in their cart, but she has stuff in her bag. >> Okay. >> So, she's in there. They're in the checkout They're paying for some stuff, but have a bunch of stuff in the purse. >> Say one more time. >> He said they're paying for stuff right now, but there's still a bunch of stuff in the purse supposedly. >> So, they're they're almost coming out and they're only right over here. >> Yeah. >> So, there's a male and a female. The female is the one doing the 65. They were here earlier in the month and they couldn't get anybody on them. He had a picture of his card, but she still has it. How are you? >> We have a lady. She came in last time. She's been so And then she came in today and not washing it. I was gone. She had like toothpaste and a do-agg. That's what I see her put in. The case was technically marked disposed, but in later September, a follow-up hearing was scheduled to monitor compliance. She was also ordered to pay $100 in prosecution costs within 34 days.
