on Sunday September 29th 2024 police officers were conducting patrols on Duval Street officers were flagged down by security staff from a bar who reported a male individual causing a disturbance after being asked to leave the premises the man proceeded to shout at both the police and staff here is what unfolded next wallet Dude where's your wallet she has it I went literally went to her and asked my my wallet okay and they punched me in the face I watch yeah they you did not watch me wallet and you're going to go home you're going go away away go away you're going fing walk I am walking away hey hey stand up I just want to go home I want to go to my wall I just want to go to my wallet dude I want my wallet sort ofly found at me pretty sure I lost my ear go get it please my wallet turn at this point it's too late so that's once you put hands on either way like he pushed our officer what what happened that um he was in the bar I guess you had his wallet he was walking he was told to leave I guess he was acting up in the bar he said I just want my wallet and the and start trying to get to the I'm and then well he started screaming F you things like that so A Crowd started coming around the officer told him you need to leave just go ahead we were trying ir and I tried to help them out but at that moment it was as to and it's not your fault and that's what sometimes when you drink especially with your jobs you know it might come out a little bit differently depending on who the person is so he's going to go to the jail he's going to have first appearance in the morning so what will happen is the judge Sunday no the the judge uh Sunday so this morning Sunday morning they'll they'll have a judge there and they'll go ahead and read him his charges and then they'll set his bond No Okay where he that's okay he's at um the Monro County detention center it's the only jail we have in the lower Keys it's on Stock Island so basically like if you do you know any of the roads down here okay it's it's the only jail down here but you can't if you go out there it's you're not going to be able to see him you're not going to be able to do anything tonight okay so what I would doer F oh sorry f is it going to fight I mean your husband seems to calm down now I don't I can't say what's going to happen when he you know in the car when he gets to the jail a veteran mus I'm dudes carry me out with my knees burned out I have no idea what the going on dude I don't know what the happened there's a bunch of Bama fans kicking the [ __ ] out of me dude I had a bunch of Cam fans kicking the [ __ ] out of me and then cops carry me to the station just insult to injury I don't even know what the [ __ ] happened I just want to go home to my son my wife tried to grab my pH walled it from him but they didn't let her they push her away she's Colombian my Colombian wife tried to columber her s from them sir where are you staying street I will find it is there any supervisors that you all need to contact or anything like that we we figure that okay all right does he have a DOD um ID he has it with him he has it on okay all right he's whaty Y no and not I I don't doubt that he's not a bad guy unfortunately just y guys I know I know when you mix the alcohol and and whatever's happened it sometimes the wrong way I'm sorry it's it's not your fault do you weekends it depends on who the judge is okay he's good good people make mistakes he's a butt yeah you know I just want to go to my wife and go home and go to sleep and go home out of your your Islands
