August 18th, 2025, in Flaggler County, Florida, Deputy Wolf with a fugitive apprehension unit was conducting surveillance on a female wanted on outofstate charges. While monitoring her movements, he prepared to serve an active warrant. He observed the woman pull into a plaza, park, and go inside a store. Moments later, she came running back out with an employee chasing after her. Here's what happened next. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. She's taking off from me. Get out of the car. >> All right. It's not very brief. >> It's going to be a silver Mazda going eastbound on the Parkway. [Music] [Music] Look how far it's Julia 34. I no longer have eyes on the vehicle. Flaggler. Uh, I added her 14 to the call. >> It was going eastbound Parkway. So far, it appeared that she might have been actively stealing from that uh, smoke shop the owner was chasing after. She has a felony warrant out of Vermont. It's violation of probation reference, I believe, robbery 104. I was working with Vermont last week and they confirmed and advised they would extradite. It was passing Advent North and I got caught up in traffic. After Taylor fled the parking lot in her car, another deputy who had been stationed near her residence observed the vehicle pull into the driveway. He attempted to make contact and gave her commands to exit, but she refused. [Music] >> Hey, out of the car. Out of the car. >> I'm coming. >> Put it in park. >> I am. I'm coming. >> Put in park. I can you please just uncuff, please? >> No. >> I promise >> this is No, you're not getting uncuffed right now. As soon as I get another deputy here, we'll work on that. Okay. But right But right now, you're going to stay in handcuffs. Okay. You tried to back up on me when I told you to stop. >> I know. I'm sorry. >> Okay. And you didn't get out of the car when I asked you to. I was scared. >> Okay. No. No. Listen. >> Okay. And then to say I'm going to take the car key after I said, "Why don't you just leave it here?" That's not professional either. That's two strikes, bro. Okay. So, how about you leave the car key since it's the car is right there? Or I can go call Mark and and find out what the he's doing while he's working. >> That's what that's what we asked to begin with. That's that that would be awesome. Okay. >> Appreciate it. Thank you. >> Taylor was ultimately brought in on her warrant. While she had been linked to theft at the smoke shop, the employee declined to pursue charges. Instead, she was trespassed from the business and the stolen item recovered from her vehicle was returned. As a result of the incident, Taylor now faces additional Florida charges of fleeing and obstructing on top of the original outofstate warrant for two counts of assault and robbery along with a violation of probation.
