I'm going to break the window if you don't. You just get out so I don't have to break the window. >> All right, let's get out. >> Give me my grab the keys in just a minute. In just a minute. >> I swear if you push one of us one more time, you're hitting the ground. >> Some people cross the border thinking the rules don't apply to them. So, what happens when these people treat US law like a joke, but the system hits back without mercy. >> Stop. Stop. >> Come out. Come here. Come here. >> Come on. We got enough arrested for grand death. >> These were the moments when illegal immigrants thought US law was a joke, but it backfired. We start with the case of these entitled immigrants who had a long history of stealing in the US. But this time, they were about to face consequences that would ensure they'd never set foot in the country again. >> Hey, this was in her pocket. It's used to get through anti- theft devices. >> You're saying the other one's inside the store? >> Yeah, the other vehicle is inside the store. >> But this is the correct vehicle. >> Okay. On June 25th, 2024, Charlotte County deputies were called to a Burlington store after reports of two women shoplifting. But as it turned out, Burlington was just one stop in a multi,000 crime spree that stretched across several stores. When officers first made contact with one of the suspects, she tried to avoid the situation by claiming she didn't speak English. But her plan quickly fell apart when the deputy responded fluently in Spanish. >> Hey, how you doing? Can I talk to you real quick? >> Can I talk to you real quick? >> All right. Are you here with someone else? >> Okay. All right. Okay. All right. All right. All right. Okay. >> You're saying the other one's inside the store? >> Yeah. Inside the store, >> but this is the correct vehicle. >> Okay. >> All right. Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Stay right here. Stay right here. 224 one detained. Okay. >> 224 copy a >> copy a California tag. >> Yeah. Don't tell them I'm not going to come with the car. >> All right. Stay right Stay right here. >> What was that? >> The merchandise inside the car. >> You already seen it? >> I saw her. Both of them put the merchandise out the car. >> Perfect. I saw the merch. All right. Almost there. >> No, thank you. No answer any other question. >> So, it's ju it's just the two right now. I just need someone to stay with that car because that's where all the merchandise is right now. >> The LP guy already confirmed he I guess he looked in the car while they were in Ross and then she hopped scooted it out over here and got into the car. When Burlington's loss prevention officer looked inside the suspect's car, they found it packed with stolen goods from Ross and Marshalls worth over $6,000. As deputies searched the first suspect and began looking for the second, it quickly became clear how the duo had pulled off their scheme. >> I'm just going to She was texting someone probably the other person inside. >> Does she speak any English or no? Okay, >> I'm going to before she goes in the car. Um, I'm just going to search as best as I can before she gets in the car. That's okay. I got it. >> So, hey, this was in her pocket. It's used to get through anti- theft devices, which there is a Florida state statute for being in >> Yeah. being in possession of an anti- theft device or whatever. Correct. >> Yeah. Okay. Let me just check her socks. >> Tell her to take off her shoes. You got your camera roll? >> I don't know. So, unto Okay. >> With the first suspect secured in the cruiser, deputies went inside the Burlington store to find the second, who, in a bizarre twist, was still actively shoplifting, completely unaware that her partner was already in custody. >> I have no idea. He's somewhere in the park. >> Sorry. She said no originally, but You only have your number? >> No. You have ID? >> You have nothing. How about we impel you first? Do you have anything in here? >> Okay. Okay. How about you open it? >> How about you open open your purse? Let's see what's in there. >> Okay. I understand you don't understand me, but you know what? Open it. Open. >> Okay. How about we just use the transfer? I'm asking for you to open your purse. >> Okay. Do we have a counter or something over here? Or how about this cart? >> This yours or from here? >> You have? >> Yeah. >> This yours? >> No. No. >> No. No. >> Uh, last name. You have a a pet? >> Full name? to jail. >> Yeah, you're going to jail. >> You know what I mean? You know what jail is, right? It's going to go through jail. Females will slip out of that [ __ ] >> Tighten them up. >> Is that her? With the second suspect now in handcuffs, deputies brought her outside and placed her next to her, quite literally partner in crime. That's when they both realized just how much trouble they were in as their illegal stay in the US was about to come crashing down. Oh, no. depend. They get no Argentina containers. Seeing the conversation between the two women made it painfully clear that they were seasoned shoplifterss who thought they could easily get away with their crime. But thankfully that wasn't about to happen. Yeah. The woman was technically correct that her son could stay in the US thanks to the birthright citizenship clause in the 14th amendment. But assuming that her child's status as an American citizen would protect her from deportation was a serious mistake. Oh, no. No. Jackochira. foreign. So felony misdemeanor misdemeanor Okay. No. Uhhuh. The two suspects, Carla Stephanie Stoodto Aronita and Jennese Michael Flores Rays were charged with felony retail theft and possession of tools used to remove anti- theft devices. Moving on to a case where a routine traffic stop in Rochester exploded when officers discovered an entire illegal immigrant family locked inside a van. >> This is my husband. >> All right. Can Can you just Oh, no. Listen, we just came here to assist, bro. Just come on. Let's go. >> You got a You got window punch someone. Get out of the car. >> On March 24th, 2025, federal officers in Rochester moved in to detain Wilson Galvan Lopez, but instead found his father and brother locked inside a van when his mother suddenly rushed to the scene. The situation spiraled into threats, panic, and a family willing to resist at all costs. >> Hey, um, who is this to you, miss? >> THIS IS MY HUSBAND. >> ALL RIGHT. CAN Can you just Oh, no. Listen, we just came here to assist. Obviously, we have nothing to do with this. >> They got We got our rights, please. >> Yes. Please just go. >> Hold on a second. We're called here because of this this government thing. >> Yeah, but we're not criminals. >> I know. No one's saying I'm just here to help. >> You get shot off. He's driving the engine. >> Wow. >> Come on, man. >> I'm going to break the window if you don't. You just get out so I don't have to break the window. The issue is it sounds like they need him to come out of the car and him him closing the door and doing all this. >> Welcome to Bavia. >> Okay. But now you're going to have a lot of officers on scene cuz they asked us to come 77 which means lights and siren. So look at all these cars now coming. >> You got to come out. Both of you. You have to step out of the vehicle. All he has to do is get out of the vehicle. Either way, in the end he's going to have to come out. I would rather do it without force. >> Criminal. Please. We are right. 37. >> They've decided that whatever their situation is that he needs to get out of the vehicle and they're going to take him to wherever they got to go. Him doing what he's doing is just causing a big scene and causing a lot worse. >> When officers first arrived, Wilson's father locked the van doors and called his wife, who rushed to the scene, determined to protect her family. The turning point escalated quickly with officers warning that force might be necessary if Wilson didn't exit the vehicle, and no one knew how it would end. >> So, here's what's going to happen. If he doesn't get out of the car, we're going to break the window and drag him up. No one wants to do that. >> Evil evil mother evil. >> ALL RIGHT, BUT GET the away. >> So that may make you upset and I understand. >> Well, here's here's the issue. WHATEVER THE SITUATION, >> they're going to ask him to come out the vehicle. gave you a young. >> I DON'T BOTHER NOBODY. >> At this moment, officers warned Wilson that if he didn't exit the van, they would break the window and drag him out by force. Tension surged as his father continued to defy. >> He's okay. Just get out. It's no big deal. >> He's okay. He's okay. You're all right. Let's get out. He's >> not going anywhere. Tell them to open the door back there. >> Open the door. >> AND I OPEN THE DOOR. >> Let me make a [ __ ] >> LET ME TALK TO MY >> DO not push him. >> I'm pushing you. You do not touch my officers. You understand me? >> Do not touch my officers. >> I'M A WOMAN. >> I DON'T CARE. >> YOU CAN'T. >> I DON'T CARE. I JUST DID. >> Got it. Cut it up. >> At your age. >> Let Let them Let them pull him out. >> Back off, please. Back up, please. >> Back off, please. >> Wilson's mother erupted in protest, placing herself between officers and her family, daring them to proceed. The standoff now teetered on the edge. Get out of the car. Put your hands by your back. Jesus. >> Get back. >> What are you doing, man? >> You want to go hand back? No. Stop. Okay, now you don't got his wrist. >> You got to stop. >> When officers attempted to pull Wilson and his sons from the van, the family physically clung to them, shouting, grabbing, and blocking every move. The scene was slipping out of control. Let uh let these guys do what they got to do. >> Just uh I'll explain in a minute. Just let them let them handle them. >> All right. All right. Back up. Back off. >> Are there more in there? You guys got that work? Ma'am, can't get back. I want to ask you. >> You can in a second. Just get back. How many? You only get so many chances. We will detain you. >> There's a charge. We're doing an investigation right now. There's a charge for this. All right. So, just stop interfering. >> I don't It's called OTAA. Obstruction of governmental administration. We're doing an investigation right now and you're obstructing it. So, just stop. Officers began by searching the van, checking every corner as the family watched in mounting frustration. Moments later, Wilson's wife confronted the officers, challenging their actions and refusing to back down. Her push back intensified the atmosphere, and in the next moments, officers would be forced to take action that would escalate the standoff even further. >> Hey, dear. Dear, you're just going to have to move your car real quick. >> Friend is involved in this. Like, my nephew. >> Your what? >> My nephew is here. >> Okay. Can you just wanted to talk? Oh, where do you want me to put my car? >> Oh, just Yeah, you just got to park like on the road or drive in the parking lot or something. Okay. >> Yeah, get in the car. Get in the car. Get in the car. >> Follow them. Get in the car. >> Well, you can't follow him. It's emergency vehicle. We're going to stop you then. We don't need to chill out. >> Mom, GET IN THE CAR AND FOLLOW THEM. >> YOU CAN'T follow them. >> I will follow you and I don't care if I get a charge. >> Hurry up. >> Okay, then come here. >> No. >> Come here. >> No. >> What's your ID? I need your ID then. >> I don't have an ID. Stop. Um, >> I'm not doing this. Okay. >> I don't care. I don't care. I don't care what you're doing and what you're not doing. >> Are they all in that car? >> Yes, they are all in that car. I saw his dad in that car and my brother Maria. >> Want to give me a second? >> They're going to go to the medical processing detention facility. You're not going to be allowed in there. There's going to be a kiosk. You can't get past a certain point. You understand? There'll be visitation and stuff like that. >> Good for you. I don't care. That doesn't mean I can't follow them. I will stay in the parking lot. >> I'm telling you where to go. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. I appreciate it. >> Go to the go in there right now. So, you can just go there. >> Tell me where they're going to be. >> Thank you. Her mom's key. >> The G. >> Yes. This is This is my key. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. >> Um, do you know them? Are you >> No, it's okay. Um, they just took them to the potato. Yeah, they're going to go to potato right now. >> What's that? >> Is Willie right here? >> I want to know the process. >> I already know they want >> somebody called ICE. We don't know. We'll find out. >> Yeah, I mean, but he's not Ice RD. Yeah, this is RBD. I don't know if the police called or someone else. >> We're not even allowed to call. We can't call. >> So beautiful. >> So, I want to understand. >> What do you want to understand? >> You can't stop the road. It doesn't matter once it's already over. >> By the way, >> stop pointing. I know, but I want a [ __ ] >> Stop it. >> Well, so they have their own protocols and stuff that they deal with. I don't know any of that. That's on them. >> As officers moved Wilson and his family toward custody, a woman arrived with her children, fiercely defending them and demanding answers. She refused to step back despite warnings, drawing neighbors to the scene. By the end, Wilson Galvin Lopez was charged with federal illegal re-entry. His father and brother were also taken into custody. Their deportation case is now moving forward separately. If you thought that case was shocking, wait until you see this one where a driver, Ry, claimed an assassination attempt, Islamophobia, and chaos on the streets, all while trying to file a police report. >> This Islamophobe white guy, I'm driving, minding my own business. Takes a couple days. >> Are you watching? Are you watching? >> I am not answering any questions. >> You're going to be under arrest for assault. Okay. >> Assault. On June 22nd, 2024, deputies responded to a road rage incident in Kain County where a woman claimed she was targeted, threatened, and harassed with Islamophobic attacks. But what officers encountered quickly turned chaotic and tense. >> Wait, I on my way to you. >> What happened to me? >> All right. >> Islamophobia. >> Come here. >> This is going to be known. >> This is going to be this Islamophobe white guy. I'm driving, minding my own business. >> Come over here. I'm driving, minding my own business, right? This is recorded, right? >> Yep. It's recorded over here. >> So, if you back him up because he's white. >> Come here. >> You're going to pay for it. >> I don't want you to get >> So, here's the thing. I'm driving, minding my own business, following the speed limit. Here comes this white guy trying to outspeed me. Are you listening to me or not? >> I'm trying to tell my people that I'm out with you. So, give me one second. Just give me one second, man. Please. >> Right. >> Reclaimed a white driver was Islamophobic, tried to her, and followed her while she drove. So she headed to the police to file a report insisting he shouldn't get away with his actions. >> He tried to kill me. I'm about to videotape this because he tried to >> You're not going to me in this neighborhood. Okay. >> You're not going to defend Islamophob. >> All righty. Here you go. >> Making claims of Islamophobia. >> Yeah, he's Islamophobia. >> Okay. So, can we talk about what happened? >> So, I'm on my way to you, by the way. >> Okay. I'm right here. I'm right here. >> I'm on my way. Not to you, to the police. >> I am the police. >> 3 minutes away. I am the police. >> What's happening? Are you coming too or >> where this occurred is is my is my jurisdiction. So I need you to talk. I need to talk to me. >> People are recording too. >> We're recording. >> Yeah. Over here too. They're recording. >> Okay, that's great. Can we talk about what happened? >> So I'm driving, >> minding my own business. >> There's this Islamophobic white guy behind me literally driving me to I don't know where almost. >> Okay, >> so I'm slowing down because I don't know what's going on. So he speeds up. You see how scared I am? >> Yeah, I I see it. >> Right. So, he speeds up in front of me. >> Okay. I We just want to talk about it, >> right? So, he speeds up in front of me and he starts like, you know, break it and break it and break it and break it on his way to try to kill me. So, here I am trying to avoid him. I need somebody Muslim to help me out with this. >> I don't think there's anybody around here that speaks that speaks. >> Well, you're not going to make me pay for being >> I think your English is fine. I can understand you. >> I'm not saying my English is fine. I'm saying that he's the Islamophobic and he's the one who called the police while I'm on the way >> of calling the police. So if you're over here, you're going to take my police report and I'm going to leave and you're going to make him pay. This is what's going to happen. >> We recounted how the white driver suddenly cut her off, slammed his brakes, and tried to force her into a crash, pushing her to seek police help before something far worse happened. >> So where where did this start? Okay, you're not going to let me pay for his Islamophobia because this is getting out of hand. Where did this start? >> Where did this start? On the street, one of these streets. While I'm driving, just it's a beautiful day. I have no work. I'm not working. Just minding my own business. >> Driving having fun. Do you see how I look? Just driving in this errand this morning. Out of nowhere, a guy with a in a blue Toyota behind me rushing me to I don't know where in this neighborhood. Okay, I'm not crying to you. Are you listening? That's your people. He's white. So the guy is white and that's his people and look what they're doing. They're making it look like that I am the one that they're making it look like that I am the problem. I AM NOT THE PROBLEM. I AM THE ONE WHO HE TRIED TO RUN ME OVER WITH HIS CAR. I avoided him and avoided him successfully and I'm STILL SCARED. SO HERE I AM DRIVING TO THE POLICE TO make the police report. Next thing I know, you're behind me for what? >> Okay. Did you follow him into any any buildings or any property? >> No. I tried to avoid him cuz I don't know if he has a gun. Okay. I don't know if he has a gun. And here he is. I'm going to you. You're going to me. You're not going to shoot me. I'm not scared of you. I told him, "You're not going to me. I'm not scared of him." >> Okay. Did you Did you approach him at all? >> He approached me and then he run in his car and closed the door. And that's when I had water and I threw the water at him. I threw the water. >> Why did you throw the water at him? When he got in his car. Why did you throw the water at him? >> No. Don't tell me his car when he came over. I'm from New York. >> He attacked me first. >> Hey, I'm not >> He attacked me first and I protected myself. Yes, I defended myself from him. And you're not going to make him get away with what he did. His Islamophobia. >> Did he make any any comments about your race or religion? >> He did. He did. >> What did he say? >> He did. Muslim terrorist. He called me. >> That's what he called you. >> Yes, he did. A Muslim terrorist. And he tried to assassinate me. >> He tried to assassinate me. As Ree continued her report, she insisted the man targeted her for being Muslim, describing how he circled back, followed her vehicle, and tried to intimidate her. And the man even shouted that Muslims are terrorists, setting the stage for officers to determine whether this was harassment or a hate motivated attack. >> Yeah, they're gathering. They're gathering to protect me. Are they gathering to protect me or are they gathering to protect their own white people? Cuz if that's the case, you're going to pay for the Islamophobia. >> I I haven't even met the other guy yet. >> I do not care. Reed demanded to know if the crowd was gathering to protect her or just their own white people. >> So he passed you and then break checked you. >> He break checked me 100 times. >> 100 times. >> A lot of times on my way to try to avoid him. I do not know where I'm going to avoid this guy. I almost all kinds of people trying to avoid the Islamophobe. Right. >> Okay. >> And finally I manipulate him all the way until he gets out of the way. And here he is about to me about to this Muslim terrorist. What? >> How do you know he was about to? BECAUSE HE'S SAYING IT. HE'S NOT AFRAID OF SAYING IT. >> BUT HE was in his car, right? >> He was in his car after he attacked me. Do you not understand? >> But we we're not there yet. We're still on the roadway. >> Um I have no guns. First of all, I have no guns. >> I didn't say you did. >> And he called his own people. I don't know why you're so invested in this, right? I'm not sure why you're so invested in this. >> So he passed you. This was my protection against him. >> Everybody is watching. Are you watching? This was my protection against Islamophob. >> So he passed you and then break checked you. How numerous times? Numerous times. >> And that how did you maneuver him out of literally shaken from what he did? >> How did you maneuver him out of the way? >> How did I I ended up maneuvering him? He ended up doing He ended up going the opposite of the opposite of the um >> of traffic and I ended up going my way. So, here he comes behind me. Here I am avoiding him over here. Here he is going over there waiting to do I don't know what I don't know if he was when he went to the uh the little I think it was like a little uh in the street place. Yeah. When he was going there, I don't know if he was going to U-turn to try to me again. So, right here I am going there thinking it's probably a police station where this place is at. >> So, you followed him in there? >> No, no, no. He followed me in turned. >> Do you understand? You said he was in front of I am the one. >> MA'AM, I'M A VICTIM HERE. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? >> I'm just trying to get it figured out. So, he was in front of you. >> I still don't know how you maneuvered him out of the way. Reexplained how the driver kept circling the area, slowing beside her car and glaring at her as if waiting for another chance to provoke her, leaving officers to decide whether this was random road rage or a deliberate act fueled by hate. >> How did you maneuver him out of the way? >> So, regardless for the police report, we we need to know your name and your information. >> I am not given any name or any information. >> Is this your car? >> This is my car. I have a picture of his car. >> Okay. Can I see a picture of his car? Yes, you can. >> The the black truck. >> Nope. The blue one. >> Well, that's his car. >> That's his car. >> Oh, okay. Another another blue Prius or >> Yeah, another blue Prius. >> Okay. >> Right. >> Okay. So, and then was there did that damage get caused by the incident? >> I am not answering any questions. >> So, was when you guys pulled into that place up there? I'm not answering any questions. >> When you guys pulled into that place up there, was he still in front of you or was he behind you? >> So then you guys you guys pulled into that place. I don't know who was in front or who was in back and then you guys both got out of your cars. >> And then at what point did you throw the water bottle at him? >> So am I getting my police support so I can You're you're going to get a police report. >> After being shown a picture of the suspect's car, she refused to answer any questions and demanded her police report immediately. >> Okay. Hey, so ma'am, you're going to be under arrest for assault. Okay. >> Assault? >> Yes. Assault. >> What assault? >> At this point, just put your hands behind your back. >> I did not assault nobody. >> Put your hands behind your back, please. >> What the partners? Talk to him. He wants to press charges for assault. So that's why we're placing you under arrest. >> We're going to take your phone. Okay. >> So you protected your own white people. >> That's not how it goes. >> Yes, it does. I did not assault him. >> I did not assault him. He tried to kill me because I'm Muslim. >> And that will be that will be duly noted in the report. >> Islamophobia. Islamophobia. >> Everything that you told us is going to be noted in the report. >> But you protected white people only. >> You protected the fallen angel on this. >> Is that too tight or is that okay? >> You protected the fallen angel knowing that they have no future. Is that too tight or is that okay? Okay, I can get a finger in there. >> Get a woman. Do not touch me. Get a woman. Do not touch me. >> You guys have a woman on. >> Get a female. >> Get a female. >> Do not touch me. I'm a woman. I'm a Muslim. >> The deputies placed her under arrest for assault, but she claimed she did not assault anyone and kept insisting she was targeted for being Muslim, leaving the tent standoff far from over. >> What about my car? >> Well, take get your car taken care of. Take a seat, ma'am. >> So, I'm going to jail. >> Yes, you're going to jail. Are you kidding me? >> Yes. For assault, ma'am. >> For assault. I did not assault nobody. What is the definition of assault? >> Bring her back up here real quick. >> What is the definition of assault? Do you hear him? Take a seat. >> What is the definition of assault? >> Ma'am, please. >> I am asking you because you're the one who who ordered it. >> Assault is >> you're the one who ordered it to protect your own people. >> Assault is when you think you're about to receive a battery. That's what you think. >> Okay. >> HE TRIED TO ME HE TRIED to assassinate me. >> Ma'am, please take a seat. >> You need to have a seat. >> My car. >> You need to take a seat. It's We're going to get >> What DO YOU MEAN? FIGURE THAT OUT. My car. >> Ma'am, I need you to take a seat. >> Why am I being arrested? >> He tried to What do you mean? He tried TO ME. HE TRIED to assassinate me. >> Please take a seat. >> I am a woman. >> Drive in Aurora. >> Thank you. >> You're touching me even though I told you I'm a Muslim. You're still touching me. >> Ma'am. >> Okay. >> We resisted being seated in the squad car, repeatedly claiming, "Do not touch me. I'm a Muslim." While deputies tried to secure her safely, escalating the confrontation further. >> Hey, where's your wallet at or your ID or purse? >> What are you doing? Where is your Where is your ID at? Is it in your car? >> You're not supposed to do this. >> Where is your ID at? >> I am not giving you any of my information. What are you doing? >> We will under the arrest. >> I am under the arrest. >> You are under arrest. >> Yeah, under arrest. Under the arrest. >> Okay. >> Right. I am being forced. >> Hey, is her is her wallet in a in the car? >> Yeah. This is >> her purse. >> Just her ID. Nothing here, >> right? I did absolutely nothing. >> You guys piked up. >> Don't touch me. I'm almost >> touchful. Right. So, I'm about Muhammad Arab. Yes, I'm an Arab. >> Yes. tried to measure. You don't know what's going on. Okay. >> Re refused to provide her ID or personal information, insisting she was under arrest and claiming innocence while continuing to resist the officers, insisting they should not touch her and claiming she was being disrespected as the authorities struggled to maintain control during the arrest, and Re was charged with assault at this point. Next up, deputies pulled over a vehicle from Indiana. They didn't expect to find a 14-year-old with five adults, and the shocking truths that came to light hinted at a possible kidnapping. >> What in the world? Well, the window's dead. >> I think when you start handcuffing everybody, sit down. All right. Okay. Like, >> oh god, I didn't know you had one more. >> On June 17th, 2024, on an early morning in Indiana, police were called by a worried family who hadn't heard from their 14-year-old daughter in days. Concerned for her safety, they requested a welfare check. Unaware that officers were about to uncover a situation far more alarming than expected. DRIVER, put your HANDS OUT THE WINDOW. OH, JEFF. OH, JEFF. JEFF. Holy smokes. What in the world? Roll the windows down now. ALL THE WINDOWS DOWN NOW. ROLL THE WINDOWS DOWN. ROLL THE WINDOWS DOWN. ROLL ALL YOUR WINDOWS DOWN NOW. PUT YOUR HANDS UP. >> JEFF, I can't see you, JEFF. ROLL ALL YOUR WINDOWS DOWN, JEFF. I CAN'T see you. >> Okay, I'm I'm out of here. >> Roll your window down now. Roll them down. ROLL THEM DOWN NOW. ROLL THEM DOWN. ROLL THEM DOWN. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. HANDS UP. EVERYBODY hands up. Everybody hands up. >> Who's in the back? >> Okay. All right. Everybody keep their hands up. Hear me? >> Yeah. What happened? >> Uh, okay. Well, I'm Trooper Sap. We're doing an investigative sap. Okay. Anybody got ID? >> Are you How old are you? You're 14. >> Okay. All right. Don't anybody move. >> Officers pulled over a black sports vehicle after tracing a missing girl, immediately confronting several men inside as they shouted commands to get everyone's hands up. But what they found inside the car would reveal just how serious the situation really was. >> Start opening the door. You got ID? Give me ID. ID. >> ID. >> No, no, your hands. >> Yep. Put your hands up. Hands. Thank you. What about you, sir? Your driver. Okay. You have a driver's license? >> Yes. >> Okay. Thank you. Okay. One, two, three, four. I need one more ID. You got ID? >> You got it? Okay. All right. I'mma I'm going to pull her out. Okay. You're going to need to come out and open that seat up. Yep. >> No, no, no, no, no, nope. Step out, Miss. We've got her. I don't know if we need to go ahead and start putting handcuffs on people. I don't know where John's at. >> Hey, Jeff. I don't I think we need to start putting handcuffs on people right now. And I've only got one on me. I mean, when you start handcuffing everybody and I don't know where John went. Step out. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. Step out. Put your hands behind your back. See? See? Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. Why don't you come over here? Come here. >> Officers struggled to secure the suspects as tension escalated inside the vehicle. With the girl still in the car, they began handcuffing the men one by one, unsure of where one of the suspects had disappeared to. >> Okay, so we got a call about you, obviously. Uh, you're 14. You look 14. Why are you with these guys? >> Nothing. We're just going to California. >> California. You're without your parents' knowledge. None of these are your parents, right? >> No. >> Okay. That's why we got called. >> Oh, >> okay. >> Mhm. >> All right. And in case I didn't tell you, I am Trooper Sap Honduras. How did you meet these guys? >> How did you meet these guys? >> Um, they are my friends. >> They are way older than you. So, you'd understand why your parents called you. You're not in trouble with your parents. You're not under arrest or anything. Girl, girl, girl, girl. I'm going to guess in at some point your parents are going to want to talk to you. Do you have your you have your phone with you? Have they been trying to call you? >> Yeah. >> You want to call them while we're sitting here and I'll talk to them? >> They don't speak English. >> They don't speak English? >> No. >> Where are they from? >> Guatemala. >> They're from Guatemala. So, the situation is is your your parents have called. I guess they saw you had left with these guys. So, did they hurt you at all? >> No, they being good to me. >> Yeah. Why were you going to California with them? to save him. >> Your family or their family? >> No, my family. >> Your family. But your parents, their your parents, do they know any of these gentlemen? >> No, but I told him that I wanted to go to see family. >> Do you realize you're for you're 14, you're still a kid? >> Yeah. >> And if you were my kid, I would be mad, crazy, upset, worried about you. And I'm sure they are, too. Don't you think? Cuz they called. >> Yeah. >> That's how that's why we um are doing this. and I'm glad you're okay cuz I was worried that we would stop these guys and you would not be with them, but your phone would. I was really worried about you. >> Troopers gently questioned the 14-year-old, asking why she was traveling with the men. She explained they were her friends and she wanted to go to California, but her answers left the officers increasingly uneasy. And as the questioning continued, the truth about her situation began to take shape. >> I'm probably going to need some help. I'm probably going to need a lot a lot of help. There's five Hispanic. She's with them. I got her. She's safe. She says they have not harmed her, but she left with them. They're I mean the youngest, she's 14, youngest is 19 and they go up to, you know, 50 some odd year old, 54 year old. So there's five of them and one little baby girl. I'm guessing it's some sort of trafficking thing. They said they were going to California and they don't speak English. One of them kind of speaks English. There's four of only one's legal and four of them are they're all illegal. You got it. >> Give me your phone. >> Huh? >> Give me your phone. >> So, what is she saying? >> She's going to California. Family, but five strangers. She just met. She's 14. She looks 10. >> Oh, yeah. I've seen her. >> According to their documents, they've all got identification. Um, four out of the five is definitely 100% illegal. The other one, the one driving at least has a valid driver's license. The biggest thing I need to do now is >> call ICE. >> Officers discovered that four of the five men were in the country illegally and only one had a valid driver's license. The realization of their legal status heightened the urgency of the situation, but confirming their identities was only the beginning of what the troopers needed to uncover. >> Do you want to tow? Uh, you guys are all going to jail. >> Everybody. >> Why? >> Well, we'll talk about that. Okay. Either you talk to me or you don't talk to me, but you're still going to go to jail. You got a 14-y old girl with you? >> Yeah, the family told me. >> Well, that's not why we're here. >> The officer informed the group that having a 14-year-old girl with them meant they were facing serious legal consequences. The suspects grew tense as the gravity of the situation began to sink in. I'm going to take you into the sheriff's department and there's a juvenile officer lady, nice ladies that's going to come talk to you and figure out what to do in contact, be in contact hopefully with your mom where you can be reunited with your mom. You can't run away at 14, not till you're 18. >> Okay? >> Then you can do what you want. Okay? >> The girl was escorted into the sheriff's department where a juvenile officer was ready to speak with the girl and help determine how to safely reunite her with her family. But even at the station, questions about the group's intentions were far from answered. >> Spanish interpreter and that's it. >> Okay. You're going to be speaking to Carlos here with me. Why was with you going to work? Sorry. Did you know she was 14 years old? >> No. 19. >> Your brother? Her brother? >> Yes. >> Is one of those gentlemen her brother? No. >> Who is her brother? >> Do you have children? No, I'm not here. I was born. >> Does that little girl look close to your daughter's age? >> No. >> How old do you think she looks? >> 19 17 the people the you small guy. >> Do you understand you're being arrested for kidnapping? Inside the sheriff's department, troopers continued questioning the men. Their stories about where they were going and why the girl was with them kept changing, making officers even more suspicious about their true intentions. At the end, the suspects were charged with kidnapping and also endangering the welfare of a child for transporting a 14-year-old across state lines without consent. If you thought that case was shocking, wait until you see this one where deputies caught a group of thieves, including illegal immigrants who turned out to be seasoned criminals entering the US to steal and commit crimes. >> Get on the ground. All right, I'm on the ground. >> I got a taser times two. Be careful wires. >> All right, now. Yeah, you're supposed to remove it. >> Come outside. >> On August 11th, 2025, deputies in Martin County, Florida, spotted suspicious activity at a hotel after witnessing a group load vans with mysterious bags. What started as routine surveillance quickly escalated into a high stakes operation uncovering a major theft scheme. >> Go back over there. Go back over there. >> On the ground. Get on the ground. All right, I'm I'm on the ground. >> On the ground. On the ground. >> On the ground. On the ground. On the ground. >> There's one jump in the fence right there. You better get back here now. >> On the ground. You better I'm going to tase you >> on the ground. Do not move. I'll tase you again. >> On the ground. Yeah. One went that way. >> Stop reaching. Go ahead and help them get them in cuffs, please. >> I'm running through Burger King. Where is he? >> How many more you got? >> I got four here. >> Behind you, guys. >> I got a taser deploy time, too. Be careful wires. >> All right. >> Come out. Come here. Come here. Come on now. Get down on the ground. Get down on the ground. >> Hey, you better watch out. >> Get out. Get down. >> You think he's in this wood line between >> Got him. >> Yep. I got two here. >> When deputies arrived at the hotel, several suspects tried to flee. And as officers moved to secure them, it quickly became clear this was no ordinary theft. And what they would uncover next would shock the investigation team. Place I saw him was uh that pickup truck. Keep going to the south a little bit. Keep going to the south. >> All right. Now, take a right. >> Ross, you good? >> Take a right. >> You good? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Stop. Right out your driver door. That's the last place I saw. >> Give me your hand. Give me your hand. >> Give me your hand. >> How many we have total? >> We have four. Four in custody currently. Deputies quickly secured four men from the vans, but with tension rising and others fleeing into the surrounding area, officers raced to track every suspect, unsure who might slip away next. >> Now we got five. Can we go to that room that they rented? >> Just 14. There were two drivers in the van. The male in the blue shirt came out of the hotel. He's 10:15. The harvester is appear to be 10:15. There should be two drivers outstanding or two front seat passengers rather. Am I want to remove this? >> What now? Yeah, you're supposed to remove it. Do >> you have the yellow? Let >> me find another one. Moment right there. >> Right here. Right over here there's a bandana or something right here. You can see where he just continued crawling the way my line is right there. >> So he went on through them collutions. >> Couldn't have gone far without right there where he would come out. After taking five suspects into custody, deputies quickly moved to search the area and hotel rooms, knowing that several others were still at large and the rest of the group could be hiding anywhere nearby. >> I jumped this right here. Sheriff is running. >> You're in the blue truck. >> Yeah, I'm right there. There's no way anybody got this one of us at all. >> Tommy was sitting on US. >> Yeah, there's no way anybody got this one of us, you know. I wonder if it's possible he ran southbound US1 like east. >> He said jump the fence though. >> Yeah, >> unless he jumped the fence and went directly to the left here where they are and then went back south cuz there's no way they got north of us. >> Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Show me your hands. >> I got them right here. Show me your hands. All right. Give me hands. Give me hands. >> Turn around. Put your hand on there. Put your hands. Turn around. >> We got one. We got one more. Got him. >> There he is. >> Uh, you tell me. Is there a fence there? >> No. Deputies combed the wooded area, coordinating carefully to prevent any escapes, and managed to apprehend one more suspect, bringing the total in custody closer to six. But several others were still on the move. >> There's a bunch of berries here, sheriff. You guys are good. >> Thanks for your help. Oh, no. I'm just >> Okay. Well, you can have whichever one of these you want. And did another Billy tell you about that jackass team fish. We said we go to this berry meeting for St. Luc County, which is just amazing. Now, see, they got these tomato buckets. They're not even picking cutting stalks. They're just taking them off in that >> picking them off. So, you don't even >> Hey, look at them. That's them right there. >> Yeah, I took the picture of you actually >> when >> earlier today. >> Yeah. >> Where is it? leaning up against that U-Haul truck right there after you unloaded berries. >> Wasn't he laying in the bush earlier? >> Yes, this one and this one was laying in the bush. >> This one was also in the bush. I didn't see him. Which one? This one and that one. >> I pull out the back of these two. >> Ross, six or seven. >> This one, he had one in his wrist right here. right there. >> As deputies documented the scene and collected evidence, they began identifying the items each suspect had, revealing how organized the operation was and hinting at the full scale of the theft they were about to uncover. >> Sheriff's office, open the door. >> I don't have cuffs. Somebody opened cuffs up. Sheriff's office. Two hands. >> Hands up. >> Hands. >> I'm out. Serbo back. >> One, two. Bathroom. Yep. Hands. Let me see your hands. >> Ready. >> Hands. Hands. >> Put your hands on. Come outside. Behind you. on your monos. >> Come out. >> Come out. >> No. >> No. Well, we have a rapid. We're good. >> Ready? Come on. Get you right there by the driver's door. Right there. >> What's your name, man? >> Felix. >> Felix. You want to walk with this detective over the van for me, please? >> Yeah. >> Yours? >> Okay. >> Did we already get this gentleman's stuff? Shirtless. Yes. >> No. Guy next to shirtless camo man. >> Face. Yes. We got him. >> After securing the initial suspects, deputies advanced through the hotel, sweeping each room with precision. And one by one, they rounded up the remaining individuals, bringing the chaotic operation closer to a complete and controlled resolution. And at the end, the two US citizens were charged with grand theft and unlawful harvesting of saw palmettoberries without a permit or landowner permission, while the nine undocumented immigrants were handed over to ICE for deportation proceedings. Next, officers responded to a Lululemon in Illinois where a group of illegal immigrants had stolen over $4,000 in merchandise. Pretending to be clueless, they tried to act innocent, but their smart hiding spots quickly gave them away. Do >> you speak any English? >> Little I'm not getting any communication. Witness in there said that these guys were like actively blocking like they were holding up. >> Sure. Cool. On October 7th, 2024, officers responded to a Lululemon store in Illinois. After employees reported four shoppers working together in what appeared to be an organized theft, police managed to stop them just outside the store. But what seemed like a routine arrest quickly became complicated when none of the suspects could speak or understand English. >> Come stand over here for me, guys. >> Okay. What's going on? >> What's that? You speak any English? >> Little. What language? >> What language you speak? >> Right from the get-go, the suspects put on an Oscar worthy act, insisting they didn't know each other, but the officers could tell they were lying. >> Do you have ID? >> Driver's license? >> No. >> Do you have a driver's license? >> Where's your ID? How'd you get here? >> Do you know what, >> ma'am? What language? >> How did you get here? Car. >> What do you speak? >> Where's your car? >> What do you speak? >> What's your main language? >> Spanish. >> Spanish. Okay. >> All Spanish. >> You have an Uber on your phone? >> Not with them. >> Can you get a little Spanish? Okay. Can you try and communicate? It's underneath her skirt right now. But she's saying Spanish as her main language. >> I'm not getting any communication right now. She can try. >> We need We need >> Where you from? >> No. >> My father. I'm going to go talk with them and see what happened. Can you guys get out here? >> Okay. I'm going to go figure out what's going on with them if you guys want to get out here. >> The suspects desperately tried to dodge the consequences by making it difficult for officers to identify them. But before long, the entire incident took a turn as the officer who'd walked inside to speak with the staff, saw surveillance footage of one of the women hiding numerous items under her dress. >> I'll be on today. >> Do they want to press charges? >> Okay. style. >> She says she does have it on her. >> She does. >> She does. She said that she has items. >> Romanian. Romanian. >> We have a Romanian that can come. >> While waiting for a backup unit with a Romanian translator, officers searched the woman and discovered over 30 stolen items valued between $80 and $200 each. just ID just one here. Hold on. >> Personal from her. We'll go over here. We can put that stuff down here. I'm going to stand by this. You want to stand by? I can go right now. >> Sorry, I'm just throwing this up. I said, "Okay, hold on." Just making sure this is empty. >> Nothing else. >> All right. You want to go throw in a car? >> Uh, I'm right there. If we just got to have someone stand over there if you want to wait over there. >> Let's go right there. Huh? Looks like >> nothing in there. Anything in there? >> Okay. >> Okay. >> You speak Romanian. Romanian. >> Good. Romanian. >> Spell your last name. >> Although only one woman was found with stolen merchandise. Officers were certain the rest of the group was involved. So, they decided to detain them as well. >> All right. Listen. Listen. You're being detained. You're not under arrest right now. You understand? >> Not under arrest. Walk with me over here. >> The suspect was arrested on multiple counts of retail theft. According to the case report, she had entered the country illegally along with the three other detainees. All four were later charged after admitting to their involvement in the crime during questioning at the police station. We begin with a case where deputies were called to Walmart for a suspicious shopper until dozens of tampered gift cards, no ID, and a multi-state fraud trail exposed a coordinated retail scam hiding in plain sight. >> Were those cards on him, too? >> Yep. All of them. >> He took him on to the bathroom. >> Oh, okay. So, he's had people put numbers on him and then transferring somewhere and using the card. He just came out of the bathroom, right? He's passed the last point of sale. >> He's into the bathroom. He They passed the registration. >> He's hitting all Walmarts throughout the state. >> On December 5th, 2023, officers responded to a Walmart store after reports of a massive gift card scam. In short, the suspect stole inactive cards, copied the details, returned them, and waited for real customers to buy and activate them. Once they did, the scammer, already holding the information, immediately drained the funds online before the buyer could use the card. It might have seemed like a bulletproof scheme, but now the consequences were closing in. >> They've got several Chinese people. >> He's got Okay, >> you got this. I'll go back. Yeah, you're >> as soon as somebody buys these and loses these, they can This is huge. >> He's So, were those cards on him, too? >> Yes. Yep. >> All of them. >> Evidently, there's some big scam that's going around. >> Yeah. Oh, they use these things all the time for that. >> Oh, yeah. You got ID? >> I no ID. >> No ID. >> I trust I trust the America. >> You what? >> America. Yeah, you're here. >> I I >> Okay. >> How many cards is this? >> See, I don't Yeah, I don't know if these cards have been tampered yet or I know he got >> So, he's going to put people put money in these while he's in the store or he's just trying to get all these >> He took them on to the bathroom. >> Oh, okay. So he's having people put numbers on and then transferring somewhere and using the card. >> I should offport. >> You know what a passport is? >> Pass? >> Yeah. Let me see your passport. came in by >> passport was not brought in when it was >> Where you living at? >> Where do you Where's home? Where do you live? Where are you staying at? >> Upon making contact with the suspect, the officers had a hard time communicating with him due to language barriers. But regardless, he seemed to realize that he was in deep trouble. I'm not sure why you were here, but you're about to go to jail. >> What do you mean? Why? >> That's common sense. Nice to meet you. I'm the one that always emails you back and forth. >> Okay, Ricky. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> And I believe everyone got paid. I'm sorry. I've been union negotiations and it's been >> Yeah, >> that was a day, dude. >> Oh my gosh. There's >> nothing wrong with them. I think you he said pretty much he thought everyone they got paid. So >> I just didn't want to submit it and things but I mean we can pay him if someone came out of the bathroom right? He's passed the last point of sale to the bathroom. He passed the register. >> Why was you in the bathroom? >> What are you thinking, Serge? >> Technically it's theft. He walked past the last point of sale with these concealed in his coat. That's step right there. just by taking this. He's got to have ID or guess what I mean? He's going to jail if you don't provide ID. >> I'd say I mean technically that's a lot, dude. >> I mean, that's >> I'm not uh >> I don't know how you put a value on one of these. >> I don't know how you put a value on it either. I mean, it's still theft, but I >> I He's in the system. I don't know what he was being caught for. It's this I don't know how much >> he's in the Walmart system. >> Illinois. >> He's hitting all Walmarts throughout the state of Ohio, Illinois. He was last seen in Illinois. >> What do you What's he saying >> in that car? >> We're going to see if that car is out there. >> It's Did you get a plate on it? >> Well, there's a plate on there. I don't know if he's said this is the car that he's associated with in the Walmart profile. What plate is it? I can't tell. California or something. >> California. >> Yeah, I was going to say that's not a California plate AXTY019. >> Okay. >> It turned out that the man entered the US illegally 4 months prior to getting arrested. During that time period, he ran this same scam at so many Walmart locations that they trespassed him from every Walmart store in the world. But that did not stop him. He kept going back. But now, it was finally game over. I have a hard time with this one. He has no idea at all on him. I mean, he says that's him, but what's his home state? If we get his home state, we can name him. >> Trevor, ask him what home state he lives in. here. >> Mir, >> sir, you English no good. You you you >> you're going to jail. >> You're going to start comprehending English real quick. >> I I speak >> I I speak >> Hang on a second here. >> Please mean speaker. He understands. >> Uh, no. Hang on. No. >> Yeah. >> Amazing how it all changes. >> So I I Okay. Give me give give me. >> This is >> Oh yeah. >> This is like regional state is different states organ. Not that one. You want this? >> No. No. >> This right here. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. >> I can pull. He says, "Am I guilty of any crime?" >> Yes. These cards don't have any money. These you still have to pay for. You can't just take these. >> He thinks he has it all. >> These are not free. >> And you concealed them. I put in my pocket and went to go to the bathroom. I haven't gone out yet. Doesn't matter. You went past the last point of sale. So, I put in my pocket and went to the bathroom right there. That's intent to steal. >> The outcome of this incident was obvious, but getting there wasn't easy. The officers struggled to move things along as even the simplest instructions seemed to take an eternity for the suspect to understand. >> That would be >> You cannot go past the register and have merchandise in your coat. >> That means you're not going to pay for it. Hey, we're not we're not going to keep going back and forth on this. >> What do you just want me to hook him for theft then for now? >> I want you to hook him for an investigative hold and do the report. I will either charge him with a misdemeanor in the morning or we'll do >> figure it out. I'll name the date of birth. All we got for now, >> but I'll figure if you just get me a complaint. >> Yeah, >> I think that'll work. He has not been trespassed yet according to WL1. >> He needs to be trespassed. >> You got anything else on you? Well, you don't know what that means. >> I had him down. >> You did? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> I counted his money. I already counted. >> Count him down. Good. >> Counted all body. Pound him down good. I mean, you got anything else on? >> Well, hang on. >> Let me just check him again. >> Change. Change in money is in that pocket. >> I went through the code. >> Money. How much do he have there? >> 1 2 220 240 260. >> Oh, he's going to print that out. >> He's going to print that stuff out for me. And then you >> The suspect Minguay plead guilty to 299 charges of counterfeiting and a pattern of corrupt activity charge. He was sentenced to 6 years in Ohio State Prison.
