[screaming] >> In policing, drunk driving is just a daily occurrence that we have to deal with. But, it's really rough when you stop a car that the driver has no idea that they're missing a wheel, scream at the top of their lungs, and you got to transport them after they pee in their pants. This is one of those. Missing a tire like that at nighttime, it's almost always going to be a drunk driver. >> Hello. >> Hello. >> How you doing? >> I'm okay, officer. >> Say that again? >> I said I'm okay, officer. >> You're okay? >> I am okay. >> What are you looking for? Huh? >> This is what you're talking to me about. >> I asked you what are you looking for that I see you with. Are you looking for something specific? I don't know. I'm just asking you what are you looking for. You could have been reaching for something else. Are you trying to find your ID, your registration, insurance? Is this what you're trying to do? >> Yes, your insurance. No, you asked me what I was reaching for. >> All right. >> I told you. >> I'm not being a dick. I'm just asking you what you're reaching for because I didn't ask you anything. >> No, what are you looking for? >> Where are you coming from, ma'am? >> That way. >> Where are you coming from, not where you going. It's where you coming from. >> That way. That's the way. >> Do you have place that you're coming from? >> Place that I'm coming from? >> Yes. >> My boss's house. >> Your boss's house? >> Yeah. >> Now, quick question. Do you have anything to drink today? >> I might have. >> You may have. If you possibly had something to drink, what kind of drink did you do today? Are you still trying to find that registration driver license? >> Yeah. >> All right. >> So, these are all observations that are likely going to be documented if she ends up getting arrested in the report about her ability and dexterity to go through that book and look for those things. Those kind of fumbling and flipping through pages, that should be and likely is going to be documented. >> Do you know what happened with your tires? >> What? >> Do you know what happened with your tires? >> There's nothing wrong with my tires. >> There is nothing wrong with your tires? >> No. >> All right. >> There's nothing wrong with my tires. >> All right. >> I'm going to come out. >> No, you cannot come out yet. Uh I'm asking you real quick, do you know what happened with your tires? >> There's nothing wrong with my tires. >> You were parked somewhere? >> What? >> Did you hit something? >> I didn't hit anything. >> Right, you didn't hit anything. >> I did not. >> All right. So, at this point, yes, you can step out. I'm going to need to do some exercises to you to see if you are okay to drive. Do me a favor, step out for me. >> You're going to backtrack that [ __ ] >> All right. >> Because where do you think that I did something to my car? >> Well, you don't have a tire. You're running in a rim for two three blocks. >> No, no, no. There's a tire. >> There is a tire over there? All right, you can step out. Show me where is the tire at. >> Come on. There's a [ __ ] tire, right here. >> There is a rim. There is no tire in the rim. >> Oh, [ __ ] >> You want to step out and see it? >> Let me record you. >> All right, go ahead. By this point, I'm going to need you to step out of the vehicle. >> I will not just step out. No. Don't touch my [ __ ] tire. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Don't you [ __ ] touch that [ __ ] >> Unlock the vehicle and step out. >> What are you looking for? For you. What are you looking for? >> vehicle is subject to a search to see if there is anything illegal or warrants or anything like that. Get out of the vehicle. >> You're right. You're cheating. >> All right. I need you to take to exit the vehicle right now. >> Nope. >> Ma'am. >> Make me. >> Ma'am. >> Make me. >> You are drunk. >> Make me. >> I need you to step out of the vehicle. >> Make me. >> This is going to be bad. >> Ma'am, do us a favor and just turn off the engine for us. >> I'll turn off the engine. >> I appreciate that. >> But you're a [ __ ] [ __ ] You're a [ __ ] >> Do me a favor and step out of the >> What am I being pulled over for? >> I'm going to do a test on you to see if you're good to drive. >> No. >> All right. So, you're under arrest for DUI. Come on. >> Don't. >> I said don't touch >> Don't touch me. >> Place the vehicle. >> Don't touch me. >> Don't touch me. Place the vehicle. >> Don't [ __ ] touch me. Don't you [ __ ] touch me. >> Yeah. >> Don't you [ __ ] >> touch me. Don't you >> cooperate. >> 35 dispatch. 10-3. >> 10-3. >> No, wait. >> The vehicle >> Every other 1635. Every other 1635. 150 95. >> Stop resisting. >> Oh, I will resist because you are a full of [ __ ] [ __ ] >> 30 >> [ __ ] you. Clear. 10-3. >> You [ __ ] and I won't get my [ __ ] >> Just that one 10-3 clear. 10-3 clear. Adam-1. >> hair. >> Gets worse from here. However, I just want to really quickly address radio traffic from both the officers. The male officer let them know that the situation was escalating and that they were, I guess, wrestling with her. And the other officer immediately got on the air and said that everything was good to go in the sense that you want to slow people down to know that they don't have to rush there and roll code cuz I've mentioned before in 2025, 34 officers were killed in traffic-related accidents. And as soon as you can let everyone know that everything is okay, it's a really good idea to do. And the female officer did it very, very quickly. Good stuff. >> Let go of my [ __ ] >> Stop resisting. I'm trying to don't hurt you with the cuffs. All right. Going to DOUBLE LOCK THEM. >> LET GO OF ME. LET GO OF ME. >> STOP. >> YOU ARE [ __ ] [ __ ] YOU. [ __ ] YOU. >> 10-6230. >> DISPATCH, white female 10-15. >> You're goddamn right. >> You scratched him. You got to get a double CHARGE FOR THAT. YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE BETTER THAN A >> Should we put her in the car? >> I'm trying to. >> Let go of me. I know my goddamn rights, and you have no right to >> is how we're going to do it. I'm going to check something real >> No right. You have no right. You have no right. >> to search her REAL QUICK. >> NO. >> [screaming] >> I WANT TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING REALLY BRIEFLY, HANDCUFFS. AND I mentioned this in another video of mine. These are the two primary types of handcuffs. They look the same to the layman, but officers will see and you will quickly see the difference. These are the chain cuffs that you see that the officer placed on the female. It gives a lot of mobility, and I know some officers said that she was scratching him. You have the bicycle chain, the hinged cuffs. It reduces the mobility of the suspect once the handcuffs are placed on. And sometimes officers carry one of each. Sometimes I've seen only one, and there are pros and cons to both of them. My preference was to go with the hinged cuffs, especially the ones that were smaller that could fit onto smaller wrists and female hands. But it's something interesting to watch in videos as these go forward. You can see and look at the different TYPES OF CUFFS. >> [screaming] >> LET ME GO. STOP. BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO RIGHT. YOU >> 50-30 We're having another unit over here. >> reason to >> We have a response. >> Look at the mobility with the chain cuffs as opposed to the hinge with the hands can do in the back. >> You have no reason to hold me. King. Stop. Stop. Please stop. Stop. Stop. Let's do it, and I will own you. >> 35 >> I WANT TO >> [screaming] >> CAN YOU HOLD HER WHILE I START TRIPPING? >> [screaming] >> STOP SCREAMING. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> STOP SCREAMING. ROLL UP. I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG. ALL that you >> This woman is screaming, "Help me. Help me." Now, if you look here, there's a female with a red dress with her phone out recording. Now, this becomes an interesting dynamic because from the police perspective, is she there because she heard him screaming and she wants to film because she thinks the police are doing something bad. A lot of times this lady recording is actually very helpful to police. Sometimes it hasn't been, we know this. But, it's interesting cuz we talk about distances and this is in Florida and I know that there's a law that's been enacted about how far a close a person can be to recording. Chime in in the comment section if you haven't chimed in already from your jurisdiction how far a person should be and if this lady is at a good distance. >> Do you know WHERE YOU TIED? >> [screaming] >> NO! WHAT AM I BEING DRESSED FOR? WHAT AM I BEING dressed for? >> Do you want >> So far you guys >> you. No. You. >> Ma'am, I don't want to use any force on you. >> You just step in. >> You have already used force. >> You just step in. >> You have already >> We just cuff you. We just cuff you. There is nothing else. >> Hey, can you >> I will bite you. I will >> If you bite me, that's not going to be good for you. Yeah, that's not a good idea. >> you. >> That's not A GOOD IDEA. >> I'M IN CHECK 10-24. COME ON. STOP. STOP. >> [screaming] >> STOP. WHAT DO YOU >> [ __ ] YOU. >> CAN YOU GET YOUR STUFF IN THE BACKGROUND? >> [ __ ] you. I'm recording it. Recording it. These [ __ ] are recording me for no reason. Let go of me, you piece of [ __ ] >> Do you remember what the tires SAID? >> LET GO OF ME, YOU PIECE OF [ __ ] LET GO OF >> [screaming] >> LET GO OF MY HAND. >> LET GO OF MY >> LET HER SIT. LET HER SIT. LET HER SIT. >> LET GO OF MY MY [screaming] HAND. I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG. [ __ ] all these pieces of [ __ ] [ __ ] all these pieces of [ __ ] [ __ ] you. >> Stop. >> Oh, he has my hands across my throat. Are you recording this? Are you recording this? Are you recording this? >> Get in the car, please. >> Let me see your socks. Stop. [ __ ] you. STOP. STOP. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> WHAT THEY'RE APPLYING CALLED HOBBLES, WHICH RESTRICTS THE feet movement and it makes it easier to place a person that's non-compliant in the car like that. Very, very good call to put her in hobbles because with the kicking and all the other stuff she's doing, that's an excellent tool. We're going to sit you in the car, okay? We're going to roll you over and Okay. We're going to roll you over and PICK YOU UP AND SIT you in the car, okay? >> I have so many I have so many >> Okay. >> lawyers >> We're going to have to do this. >> pieces of [ __ ] ON MY TEAM. >> [screaming] >> WE'RE GOING TO PICK YOU UP NOW. >> YOU PIECE OF [ __ ] >> ALL RIGHT, WE'RE GOING PICK YOU up now, okay? >> YOU PIECE OF [ __ ] TWO, YOU WANT TO HELP US 1 2 3. ALL RIGHT. HEY, YOU'RE SCRATCHING ME. STOP SCRATCHING ME. >> [screaming] >> IF IT HURTS YOUR EARS NOW, IMAGINE WHAT IT sounds like that you're standing right THERE WITH THAT. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED ALREADY, SHE'S ALREADY urinated herself. And I think most of the officers have gloves on now, but they still have to think about the fact that when she's moving around, you're going to get some of that on you. >> [screaming] >> You see what we're dealing with? You see what we're dealing with? Do you want to trace the freaking the marks from State Street? And then stop and say, "Do you know what happened with your tires, ma'am?" "Tires fine." I said, "Yeah, you don't you don't HAVE ANY TIRES." >> [screaming] >> YOU THINK THAT NOW THAT SHE'S IN CUSTODY and on her way to jail that it gets easier. She's actually increases and you have to be cognizant of the fact that this type of person, if they're placed in a holding tank with other people, it can be very dangerous for them. So, most times they will separate them and put them by themselves. >> Hey, uh I'm going to need somebody in the jail. I'm going to need somebody in the >> I see. >> All right. All right, I need somebody to help me out in the jail. >> [screaming] >> Show me 10-15, white female, 51-20 in jail, starting miles 0.0. >> It's >> You've heard me mention before when you see the on miles a lot of times, they give on miles to show the distance that they started from is the distance they ended at. Sometimes it's just males and females or females males to know that show that they went exactly where they were supposed to go cuz they'll give the off miles at the end to show the distance match and they didn't go off and do something with the person. >> This is the saddest thing of all of this is your >> [screaming] >> Another good thing that would have been done and I think the officers likely did is get witness statements from those people that were standing around there. This shows this woman's behavior. Yes, we have the body cam and that is great. When you have independent witnesses speaking about the behavior, it's also very helpful to couple those two things together. Body cam, officer statement and witness statements WHO ARE INDEPENDENT. >> [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] >> I WILL MAKE SURE HE HAS IF you hurt us, you will be dead. Your [ __ ] throat will be slaughtered and you will never know what it's like to live a [ __ ] life. >> Five blocks without tires. >> Do you want to verify if I can talk to her through your front door really quick? >> Go ahead. Go ahead. >> [bell] >> Hey, Samantha. Samantha. This has been the entire time. Hey Samantha. [screaming] Samantha. Can I ask [screaming] you something? Samantha. >> I'm still talking to her. >> [screaming] >> Who's up? >> No, I'm I'm not moving. You want to act like a [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm not talking to you. >> The corrections officers are likely not happy that this person got brought into the jail. They It's a really interesting dynamic when we bring people in and they act like this. >> you. Get your HANDS OFF ME, [ __ ] >> [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] >> UNLOCK IT UP. UNLOCK [screaming] IT UP. >> [laughter] [screaming] >> THIS IS ILLEGAL. >> OKAY, GO AHEAD AND TAKE A SEAT. Take one to my flex arms. >> Okay, I don't think that she made the switch like that. Looking at the body cam time difference, it looks like a well over 2 hours has elapsed. Sometimes people like that have to go to the hospital before they'll admit them inside of the jail. If you're from Sarasota, can you just chime in if this looks like one of the hospital facilities? I'm not from Sarasota, so I don't know. >> I can't do that. You're arrested. You're under arrest. Take a seat. >> You can undo my flex arms. You can undo my flex arms. >> I will not that. Take a seat. >> Because it's illegal. >> Okay. Take You can You can go to court and do all that. I need you to get inside the vehicle properly. >> illegal. >> Stop being a bad person. I'm trying to do my job over here. Yes, you are. >> No. >> Let's Let's Let's resolve this like adult people. >> drive anywhere. >> Get inside the vehicle. >> That's cool. >> You're all pee'd. God damn it. You're going to hurt yourself. >> I'm already hurt. >> Yo, get inside the vehicle properly. >> already >> Yes, it's cuffs. It's called cuffs. They're iron. >> Yeah. >> They're going to hurt you. >> That's It hurts. >> Yes. >> Yeah, it does. >> I need to close the door. That way we can leave. >> That's it. >> The sooner we leave, the sooner you're going to all this going to end. >> All nice and good. I never did anything to deserve this. >> Okay, that is up to the judge to decide. >> deserved anything. >> Stop being a child. >> Yeah, I'm going to beat the [ __ ] [ __ ] out of you, you piece of [ __ ] >> So, we see the batteries that she committed against the officers, which are just as serious, if not more serious, than driving in that condition, not even knowing that you're missing a tire. I've seen it where people have hit people and were so drunk that they had no idea. This lady's behavior is definitely something that needs to be addressed in the court system. couple other things that I'd like to discuss here. If this person was with other people and they allowed her to leave in that condition, then they have to have a wake-up call themselves. Friends don't let friends drink and drive, and that should be something that should be a mantra for people. People die from this kind of thing. While there might be some comedic level where we're chuckling at the fact that she was screaming like that, this is an incredibly dangerous, serious situation that people lose their lives to all the time. Now, I'd like to address something that I normally haven't addressed in the past, and this is just a minor critique for the primary officer conducting the stop. I think he was sharp, looked great in uniform, was very professional, dealt with a very difficult situation. However, there's something that we all likely noticed is that he has a moderately significant accent, which is definitely not a crime or anything like that. But is he capable of articulating streets very quickly in a foot pursuit so that officers understand exactly where he's at? I'm merely saying this from an officer safety perspective. It's not really the only reason, but it's one of the primary reasons why it's incredibly important that people can understand exactly what you say.
