This mother left her child unattended in a vehicle while attempting to confront her ex-boyfriend at his workplace. On January 25th, 2022, officers were called to an auto repair shop after a man reported that his former partner had arrived and was causing repeated disruptions in the work area. [music] At the scene, witness accounts and visible signs indicated the situation had grown more serious than a simple disagreement. >> Well, if she's out here, it's your girl. >> Yeah, it's something like that. Is she up here, you know, damaging property? >> I can't control that. You know what I mean? What happened? >> She mad at you. She got She busted the window yesterday. >> Is these hers? >> Those I got a plate. I got a picture of >> We got um people looking for >> Yeah, she cars. She hit the floor. She hit that. See the marks? I don't know. She busted the window on that Honda. >> Huh? >> That Honda? >> No, the green truck. >> She cars in here. I don't know how bad she mad at you. >> I'm trying to leave her alone, man. I got another girlfriend. I got into a situation with her and I was with her for a couple days and then I went back home. She bust my window in my other truck. No, we don't stay together. I stay with my other girl. That's what I'm saying. My girlfriend. She know she's not my girl. >> Like a side piece. >> Yeah, she y'all got kids together. >> With all this you damage threw at him. >> Threw at the >> Yeah, she did hit him too with that. or just No, she threw a chair at him and then she wung this at him. I don't know if it hit him or not. I don't want to say for sure. >> What is that called? >> Uh part. It's >> I did see her chair on her truck. >> You want to see if there's any damage on it? >> On what? >> She that truck a couple times. >> Make sure >> that green one. >> Yeah, that's his truck, right? Where's the chair? She >> took it. She took a chair. Her old chair out of her car. >> Okay. >> She came out like two or three times. I was on the phone with the dispatcher and took off down this little side road. I don't know what road that is, but I'm just a storm and check out. Oh jeez. >> Right here. >> What's her name? >> Shantel. >> Shantel. What? >> Uh, are you all right? Cuz I know I'm all right. >> So, what she come up here for? I know she mad at you, but another girl playing. >> Yeah, I think I told her I went back home. That's where it all start. I told her I was going back home yesterday. She put me out of the car. Bust my window on my other truck. I had to go get a window for that. Now she's going up here trying to do something to this truck. >> When you say go back home, you mean leave her? >> Yeah. Stay together. >> Go back to my house. No, I was spending the night a couple nights. I got to tell my girl and I guess she thought I was going to stay with her. >> So I came out to try to get her to leave and I told her this physically resp I'll just I I'll this is my beat. So I'll I'll sit here for a while, you know, put do some extra patrol. I'll get you a report and everything like that. Is anything from your business damaged? >> Anything at all get damaged in here? >> Huh? >> Anything at all get damaged? Doors, windows, cover, car. >> Just my truck. >> Yeah, she threw some stuff. I saw her throwing stuff. >> By the way, I haven't >> She did. >> Weird time to me. >> She had a chair and she won right in the face. >> You in the face or what? >> What kind of chair are we talking about? >> It's a metal chair by Yay Big like a kid chair. >> A full chair. Yeah. Was a child in the car. >> That's her kid, not yours. >> That's her kid. We ain't got no kids. Not one kid. He got >> Hey, man. I'm going to give you this. I know you said you don't want to press charges. >> Yeah. >> I'm still going to document everything just because she came up to a public place. You know what I mean? Acting crazy. So, >> while officers were collecting details about what had happened, the woman returned, allowing the discussion [music] to continue in a calm and structured way. >> 45, can you come back over here, please? Hey. Hey. Yesterday you BUST MY LIP YESTERDAY. I DON'T WANT NONE OF THAT. I DON'T WANT NONE OF THAT. I DON'T WANT none of that. I won't HEAR NONE OF THAT. YOU B MY LIP YESTERDAY. I never PUT MY HANDS ON YOU. >> I CAN NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON YOU YESTERDAY. >> COME ON, MAN. YOU bust my roll down window, bro. >> I'm going. >> LET ME GO, MAN. >> STOP. >> LET ME GO. >> STOP RESISTING. >> LET ME GO. >> MA'AM, >> LET ME GO. >> MA'AM, >> LET ME GO. >> MA'AM, I'M GOING TO TAKE YOU DOWN. LET ME GO. >> I GOT TO TELL YOU. >> LET ME GO. >> I SWEAR TO GOD, I put on my kids. >> Walk. >> I put out with my kids. This not over with. I put on my kids not over with, baby. >> 44. I have a black female 1095. Where's your kid? >> My kids is in the car. >> We got somebody we can call. >> Call for what? >> Your kids. >> For what? >> You're under arrest. >> For what? >> For damaging property. Simple. >> I did not damage nobody. >> Simple battery. >> I did not take me to death. You made this decision, not me. >> Who is Omry to you? >> Talk to me. [crying] >> Can I go tell my kids I see them later? Can I go tell them later? Can I please go tell them later? >> Huh? >> Can I please go tell my kids I see them? >> Who's going to get your kids? >> Can I call somebody? >> Oh no. I got to look at my phone. I got to look at my mom. My phone. >> Go find this Nissan Senser that she drove it. >> I don't have a Nissan picture in there. >> And you're driving the suspended registration and no insurance as well. >> Who talked? >> But I worried about I ran your tag. I've been here because you came up here, acted a fool, caused a whole scene, they called the police, and you left. You had the audacity to come back with your kids. And now if I don't have anybody to get your kids, I CAN CALL DEFENSE. NO, DON'T do that. [crying] >> No, don't give up. Can I talk to my kids? Can I please talk to my kids? >> Attention soon [music] turned to the children. Leaving them unattended showed a moment of poor judgment where personal emotions took priority [music] over a child's well-being. >> Hey guys, y'all doing all right? >> Yeah. >> Okay, good deal. >> Okay. Uh yeah, we we found we found where your mom's at. Um just bear with us one second. We're going to make sure everything's uh okay and then we'll go from there. Okay, I'll let you guys know what's happening. Y'all doing okay, y'all? I see you got some nice fudge round snacks. Good stuff. Is that for Is that for after lunch? Those are good, aren't they? >> You want your kids to see you in handcuffs? >> I just want to tell them I see. >> How many kids do you have? >> Who? Can you please just let me know? How old are they? >> They're five. >> I can't let you go when you come up here acting like that. And we got a whole domestic violence thing issue going on. You say he busted you up yesterday? Did you call the police? Y'all live together? Who is he to you? boyfriend. How long y'all been together? >> She got her kids in the car. I I don't want >> the car. >> Yeah. I don't want I don't want to press nothing against you. If he let you go, take your kids and go home. >> That's all I'm asking. I don't want to press no charges at all. >> So, he doesn't want to press charges against what happened to him. The issue is that you came up to a public business and acted like this. Okay. So, that's what we call a victimless crime. disorderly conduct acting out like that in a public business. Okay. >> 1097 >> and then I gave you very stern multiple commands to stop K is sitting inside the car. I don't want to leave them over there sitting in the car. >> Got you. Another officer. >> I mean is you good, man? Did you good? >> Oh my. >> Like you sure you got your kids in the car, bro. All this I'm call bro. That's it. I got my window fixed. I ain't I'm like I'm not doing none of that on nothing. My fixed is done. Like it is what it is. >> Delill regular unoccupied. >> That's all I want you to do. I I ain't even want this [ __ ] to go this far, bro. I just want you to take your kids, get in your car, and go home and relax. That's it. You trying to do all of this? Now look, now look at this. If I was nasty, I would have pressed charges. Now he pressed charges when he bust my lip yesterday. I was trying to get you accidentally bust your lip. >> I didn't touch you. You put your hand over me. I did not touch you. >> Come on, man. >> I hear you out. I'm trapped. Like >> if I if I tried to move her out my way to death, I probably would have busted her lip. >> Just wait over there. I promise before anything I don't want to press anything. >> Okay. Well, >> trying to let her just go ahead. >> Did he explain that? I depends on what y'all's relation is. >> Yeah, I like my girlfriend. something like that. I did the same thing yesterday. Try to move her out my way. Now I can't move her out my way because then there'll be domestic violence. You know what I'm saying? And all this and that by me trying to keep her off of me. She come in the shop trying to attack me with different things. >> I got you. >> And me defending myself might cause me to go to jail. >> No. Defending yourself? No. I understand your apprehension cuz sometimes, especially when it's a woman, it comes off as Yeah, I get that. >> I think the call right. >> I think so. >> Sit down. Please sit down. >> Are you hanging out with the kids or you need me to Yeah, I'll hang up. Okay. I should leave alone. >> In some [music] states, a prior dating relationship can result in situations like this being handled more seriously. However, under Georgia law, this case was not considered a domestic matter because the two had never lived together and did not share children. The man chose not to seek further action. So, officers [music] issued a formal warning instead. Additionally, the vehicle not meeting legal operating standards created extra concerns. >> We thinking levelheaded is having a bad day. >> I know. What is your relationship, Tom? >> We've been together for almost two years. Two years. >> Two years. Y'all never lived together. Just dating. Here's where we're at right now. Misdemeanor charges. He doesn't want to press charges. This doesn't qualify as a domestic violence thing. Okay. She's going to search you. You're going to go in the back of the car right now. We're not going to jail. You're going to be released and you're going to be able to drive from here. Okay. But if if things change as far as anything else from you, then you may have to go to jail. So, I just need you to cooperate with us. Get this all this paperwork done and then you can go. Okay. Sound good? You are going to be banned from this this shop. Okay? So, that means you cannot come back. If you come back, they call us. You'll just be arrested on the spot just for being on the property. Okay? You just search her and put her in my car. >> All right. Go ahead and have a seat. All right. Officer M will be back out here with you. Okay. Hey, is it is it DVA or No, >> it's not. >> It is, but it's not. It doesn't qualify underneath. >> He's hanging out with the kids. Is that you agree with that? >> Yeah. They don't live together. They've been dating. Don't live together. Don't have any kids. Hey, we can't let her drive from here. >> You know how you saw the tag was suspended and everything? >> Yeah. >> The actual car also suspended and no insurance. So, it's got to get to >> Okay. Okay. So, your vehicle, you can't drive from here. It's got a suspended tag and no insurance on it, which means that it cannot legally be out on the road. You have somebody else that can call and pick you up. Okay. Well, just think about it for a minute. Okay. >> No insurance registration. >> So, you can at least her with some citations. So, she was though. I mean, you have it on good authority. She left based on the original call and then she came back, right? >> Yeah. To me, it's the same as a 26 bolo. >> Hello. So, as as you might imagine, we know your car can't be driven. It's got no insurance registration. So, you can't drive it off the lot. If I go with your permission, can I get your phone and bring it over so you can get a call to get somebody right over here. That car has the wrong tag and it's got no insurance on it. So, she can't drive that car away from me. So, she's asking me to get her phone out so she can call for a ride for her and the kids. The tag belongs to her other car. >> She only had one car. >> Well, she used to have apparently a Nissan Sentra cuz her name's Chantel, right? >> Chantel. >> Chantel. Yeah. The tag goes to a Nissan that was in her name at some point. >> Hello, mama. >> Are you at work? >> Yeah. >> I need you to come and get me from the job. >> Mama, come get me right here. Oh my god. >> What's going on? >> The police right here. The police. You call the police for me cuz I can't try to fight him. >> Okay. >> Hello. >> You busy? >> No. >> Can you come and get me before you be um busy? >> Where you going? >> Right here. I can't drive it cuz I don't got no insurance. They called the police on me cuz I tried to fight him. >> All right. I got some clothes. >> All right. >> She's about to be released. You don't want to press charges. >> So there's no charges for the damage in here and trying to hit you. The issue is came up to a public place acting like that. So this disorderly conduct. She calling somebody to come pick her and the kids up because her car don't have no insurance or nothing like that. >> I I ain't trying to do all that. Me two women that got me messed up like this. I She got feelings. >> The woman was cited for [music] disorderly conduct and instructed not to return to the business. The situation ended without further incident, but it leaves an important [music] human lesson. Children should never carry the impact of adult decisions. Sometimes what matters most is not winning [music] an argument, but knowing when to step back. >> The dog comes out on not on the leash every day. >> It may sound minor, but this was the reason the entire neighborhood grew concerned and authorities were contacted. On September 25th, 2023, officers responded to a residence after reports about a woman whose behavior had raised concern among nearby residents involving a dog and several minors. At the scene, the woman explained that the dog often moved around without close supervision, which had frightened several children. >> What's up? Hey y'all. What's up? >> What's going on? >> Okay, first of all, these witnesses to attest to this is a continuous act. Her dog, she lives all the way down there. That's a full grown gray pitbull. Y'all can pull CAMERA FOR THIS. DOG KEEP COMING UP AND DOWN across the street. >> STAY SCARED OF THE DOG. And he keeps walking. HE DOESN'T HAVE THE DOG ON THE LEASH. NUMBER ONE, IF YOU WALKING YOUR DOG AND IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE LEASH OR YOU WALKING IT, THE DOG IS LOOSE EVERY DAY. ALWAYS OVER HERE. EVERYBODY CAN ATTEST TO THIS. NOBODY'S MAKING UP. BUT WHEN YOU TALKING ABOUT LITTLE BABIES AND KIDS, it's a dog THAT'S A FLUFFY DOG OVER THERE ABOUT THIS little on. NOW COMING DOWN HERE WITH THE CHAA WHERE YOU HAD ALL THAT GO. YOU COMING DOWN HERE WITH THE CHAA WHEN SHE COULD HAVE CAME DOWN HERE WITH THE CHA. DON'T FORGET what happened. Get your ass that street right here. >> LIKE I SAID THE DAMN DOG. THE DOG. HE WALKING THE DOG. >> You talking about I ain't with none of that. >> I'm about to move. You f to back up or something? >> We talking about >> I think you got enough room to find something to play. >> No. Go ahead. >> That's on me. No, he doesn't want any child. >> He got enough room to turn on. Turn the wheel. >> Give a about none of that. She want to play these games. Not here. >> The dog came down here. What happened? >> My kid, it came running up and ran up on the grass and all the kids started screaming and and scattering. My son is scared of the dog. Her son is scared of the damn dog and she scattered the dog. THE DOG CAME RUNNING UP AND ON THE PORCH. THAT'S AN EVERYDAY THING. HE WALKS THE DOG and he's laughing. ALL THESE [ __ ] CAN TELL YOU HE'S LAUGHING AT THE DOG CHASING. I DON'T GIVE A ABOUT WHAT IT'S NOT GOING TO DO. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT CAN DO. AND THE MINUTE IT GET ONE OF THESE KIDS BY THE NECK, IT'S GOING TO DRAG THESE GODDAMN KIDS AND KILL THESE KIDS. >> OKAY, I got I got that boy. >> And then she want to go PUT HE WENT MUST BE A TONER CUZ I SAID YOU COMING BACK DOWN HERE THEN YOU WALKING BACK DOWN HERE. YOU GIVING ME LOOKS LIKE YOU GOT A PROBLEM. LIKE I SAID, IF IT'S A PROBLEM, GO GET YOUR MOM CUZ YOU AIN'T GOING TO COME AND DISRESPECT CUZ I'M OLD ENOUGH TO BE YOUR MOM. YOU TALKING about dog? >> HERE IS HER DOG WHO JUST WALKED OVER HERE. >> HEY, how you doing? >> You okay? You not okay? >> What's wrong? The dog almost bit you. Where's the dog at now? >> You go ahead. >> You don't know. >> Have you ever seen a dog before? >> Whose dog is it? >> Which lady? >> Just walked off. >> And that don't never be on the leash about NONE OF THAT. EVERYBODY, Y'ALL CAN PLAY WITH OUR TERMS. I DON'T. >> ALL RIGHT. DO ME A FAVOR. JUST GO BACK inside the house. Go back inside the house. >> All right. She want to talk. >> Who? The lady. >> The lady. >> Yeah. The one who you thinking. >> Which one? The one that came down here. Where where did she go to? >> Which way? >> I know which child she's standing. If it's the one I think it is, she's saying that bottom right one. If it's the same one, but little baby girl right there came over to me and said, "Hey, I was like, what's going on?" >> Which one? >> The little girl right here. The only little girl that you see standing right here. >> Oh, what she said? >> Said the dog almost bit me. >> So, she pulled a gun. I don't know. >> I don't know who the girl who that woman. She ain't said nothing about. She said the dog spit her. So, the dog thing is real, but I don't know about the whole thing. So these people ain't got nothing to do with this. Where the she told you where she at down here. >> But she out. She She out. She out of there. Like unless you want to speed walk to catch up to this girl, she out of here. What you want to do with her? >> The one talking. She a problem. Okay. What you want to do with her? What's up? >> A crowd quickly formed with opinions divided in different directions. Officers worked to separate those involved and clear the area to restore calm. >> That's not even a little funny. You get mad at the love. >> Well, we don't know what the hell going on. Well, did y'all see [laughter] what happened? >> I called y'all cuz she had that pistol waving that [ __ ] around with pulled that gun out and that child was friendly. >> So, what what did y'all see? So, the dog ran over there. So, >> the dog was already out here. He went he had he had the dog in his back his mom right there. He carry in it and she went out. I told him she >> So how did she pull the picture out though? Like >> she pulled it out and she did like that >> like towards a dog or >> the dog. He carried the dog here. He carried the dog. He carried the dog. He was already going to get the dog. >> All right. So it was a child carrying the dog. >> Where the boy? >> She right there. She right there. WHERE SHE AT? >> ALL RIGHT, BABE. >> All right. >> Oh, no. She pointed at my seven-year-old. I WANT HER. >> OH, NO. WE AIN'T GOING TO DO all that. >> No, I want her. I want Come on now. Come on down here. Meet me halfway. Yeah, cuz I had to get off early. >> We ain't doing it all. >> Let her point at my sevenyear-old. >> Even though we trying to figure out what's going on so we can handle business. Y'ALL, Y'ALL AIN'T INCLUDED. >> YEAH, I want something done to this. Bring your son over here. >> My son is right here. Come at El >> and my dog is legit. I'm housing know about my dog. It's a >> Y'all two meet me over here. Get away from the entourage. You know what I'm saying? >> She going to be selling nothing at her house. I'm letting the RED PEOPLE KNOW ALL OF THAT. >> WHAT'S GOING ON? WHAT HAPPENED? OH, I was walking the dog down there and then and then her little >> shut the up her little dog over there and she started right now. >> OH, I'M LEGIT TOO. >> Tell her in the house. >> Tell her go in the house. >> She not going to go, but I got you. >> Don't worry. I want her TO SELL ANOTHER THRILL OUT HERE. >> WHO THRILL? I thrill out. GET YOUR FACT STRAIGHT. THRILL. SHE DO. SHE DO. Thank you. I WORK. I WORK. MA'AM, I work. >> Ma'am, let me get your uh driver's license. >> And let me tell you something. WHEN THE DOG CAME, ONCE THE DOG CAME OUT HERE AND he had that came on the porch, I'm sitting here. I'm like, what the why is the dog sitting here running UP ON THE PORCH, EVERYBODY SCREAMING, COMING UP ON THE PORCH. LIKE I SAID, THEY CAN TELL YOU THE DOG COMES OUT on not on the leash every day. If you know it's a dog for therapy, YOU SUPPOSED TO HAVE YOUR DOG on the leash. Bottom line when you WALK IN IT, THE DOG BEEN ALL UP THERE TRYING TO BITE HIS DOG AND HE CAN TELL YOU AND he have on him too when THE DOG BE OUT BECAUSE IT RUNS AND IT STARTS TRYING TO >> HOW big is this dog THOUGH? >> IT'S A PIMP. THEY RAN AND PUT IT IN THE HOUSE. >> HOW BIG IS THE DOG? WHAT? >> IT'S TO HER. IT'S RIGHT HERE. OKAY. >> The we talking about. >> All right. So, you was walking the dog and what happened? >> And then her little kid started playing with the dog and he ran upstairs and she had got mad. >> He ran up her stairs. >> No, it was it was the people upstairs there. >> So, she lived upstairs or downstairs? downstairs and her kids was playing with the dog and blue got too hyped up and ran upstairs. Her kids scared of the dog. Blue went ran up and down the stair. >> Okay. What happened after that? >> Two come to COME TO MOM. BUT THIS not this second child. She don't pull that out on my look like >> more like she came back to the third child. >> That's why I had called you two came back to the car and said that she pulled out saying she going to shoot blue girl. You going to go to jail. That dog ain't nobody like that. She You can ask her. SHE SHE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT THE DAMN DOG. I'M NOT MAKING UP ABOUT THE DOG. THE DOG GOT RAN ON HER PORCH AND DAMN NEAR BIT HER DOG. COME ON NOW. WHAT THE AIN'T NOBODY MAKING ABOUT NO DAMN DOG. AIN'T NOBODY POINTED NO AT HIM. AIN'T NOBODY POINTED NO. That's a lie. >> Go help. >> She He don't need no help. That going to shake and she and she can't talk because y'all just busted her HOUSE WITH WHAT? REDHEAD. SO SHE NEED TO SHUT THE UP. AND THAT same that y'all was looking for. Yeah. She she helping. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You got the right one. Yeah. I'm the right. Yeah. HO HO. LET'S TALK ABOUT IT. >> YEAH. YEAH. I can help y'all out on that. You talking about she ain't got put out yet. You see what I'm saying? Just came over here and bust that house was smart. >> I got you talking about. >> Do me do me this favor. I >> I say to myself to myself. Listen to me real quick. Just listen to me real quick. I'm hearing you out 100%. Just hear me out right now. Keep your voice down. >> You don't need to go back and forth with whoever. >> Definitely not. >> I don't want you to get hypn up on some charges that >> ain't got nothing to do >> with nothing. I had this whole situation. Right. >> So, just stay to yourself. >> I am >> be with your kids right now. >> Don't try to figure out what's going on. Don't let anybody else influence your attitude. All right. >> Definitely not. >> So, just hang out. I mean, >> my job is he wants you to chill inside the house, but if you can control yourself, >> I can control myself. You know that. >> Some people who charge >> all these people don't even have around here. >> And that's what I'm trying to tell you. Don't let the outside influence going. >> Y'all just been on here a couple weeks ago to that girl with the red hair. Y'all bust her house for >> confirming what happened proved challenging. His stories did not fully match. Even a child who saw part of the incident struggled to explain clearly, showing how confusing adult conflicts can be for young witnesses. >> She always put out little kids like these are my >> Yeah, that's what I meant to call. >> Why you putting out black >> too? Mom, what color the was? >> Black. >> And then she pointed directly at y'all or where was the dog at that you was holding? >> I had I was carrying the dog away. Where yal back down there? I was carrying the dog away. >> Okay. >> All right. Who was with you when you went over there? >> I think she went over there first. She went over there by herself and she pointed the gun at her and I think El went over. I don't know. I wasn't able to tell her. >> I was from the dog and that's when she must have went over there. >> Did you see anything about the gun? Anything familiar about the gun or anything? You didn't say it. >> Did you see the gun? >> What? What did she say when she had that? >> So, you saw the personally and what did she say when you when you saw the >> What did she say? I know you didn't say anything. What did she say? >> So, she didn't So, how she show me how she did it? >> Demonstrated it too. I I wasn't >> Miss Anthony, did you did you see how she was pointing it? Can you demonstrate? >> I wasn't when she pointed at her hair. I was >> Cuz I thought from my understanding, she went to get a thrill by herself. >> Yeah, I was chasing I was chasing the dog. >> Where's the dog at? I just just >> go get blue. >> You don't have to get him. Is he in the house? >> Yeah. >> Can I come over to your house and see the dog real quick? >> Yeah. They put him in the house and she still was talking >> and my dog be outside all day by the by by herself. >> Can you show me them, please? So, what did she see from start to finish? >> No. >> Okay. I heard her yelling and when she started yelling, I looked down at her and I seen him p pick the dog up and when she picked the dog up, she pic she had the gun and she was waving at me. She was like, "Next time I see that dog in front of my door, I'm" and she kept like she kept going. She never shut up. He took the dog in the house. He came down here was talking to his cousin and wanted to bring her. He was talking to her and that's when he went back down there and she still was talking to get in front of my door with still with the gun. Still swinging was waving the gun the whole entire time. So he walked off again, went back down there, and you still was waving a gun. No, I didn't see I didn't see the little girl walk over to you. You still was waving a gun, and that's why I caught her cuz she How was she waving gun? >> She was waving it like she was waving in the air. Tell me something. And I don't give a shoe. >> Was it in somebody's direction or what? >> The first time she she was pointing it towards him and the dog. >> Pointing towards him and the dog. >> The dog cuz he had the dog on his shoulder. >> Was he walking away at that time? >> He was walking away. >> Okay. >> He was coming to bring the dog home. >> So do you think did he see it? Do you think >> that probably was he was walking this way? He was also unbothered by it. >> All right. >> I can't no more you on her, Blue. >> All right. >> Go. Bye. >> Go in the house. >> Bye. >> Put her back in the house. >> Somebody got to open up. You know, it's a puppy. You running from a puppy. The puppy wants to play. He's going to tell him. [clears throat] So, >> I don't know. >> I don't know >> what about the dog biting somebody. >> So, I got to go back and talk to her cuz um cuz if I can't, I'm just going to get away with playing. cuz they going to be it's going to be a >> it will. >> Yeah. >> During a private conversation, one resident shared that they had seen the woman react in a similar way in the past. >> Hey, how you doing? I'm fine. >> Can you tell me what happened from start? >> Okay. We was sitting right here on the porch and we just heard some yelling. So, we looked down there. He was um he was holding the dog. >> 34 and she was hooping holling. She had >> Who you talking about? You got to point >> the girl right there. >> Okay. And who was holding the dog? her son >> which is >> he was holding the dog in his hands come back down here but she he had done picked the gun um picked the dog up and was walking back this way when she ran in the house and got the gun >> but it's something she always do so we know what she was going to do anyway cuz every time she start yelling she pull out the she did it the other day at the bus stop I called the police nobody even never even showed up she pull on some boy but she do this constantly it's a constant thing with everybody she argue with she pulls out the >> walking down the side he walk she said haha is swinging it You keep saying the safety of your kids, but your kids is right there by you while you're swinging it. Everybody and all your friends out here trying to have your back. They kids right there too. You said just swinging the >> You get reckless. I mean, we can't I don't know if you say reckless, but pointing a gun at another. Yeah. Because they didn't see >> they didn't seem to be bothered by it. >> All right. I'm going to I'm going to get the Now I'm going to go get the gun, run it, do all of that stuff. >> Mhm. >> Um that that's just way I can collect this every day. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Call her again. She don't give me no legitimate reason cuz right now what I got she was about to walk away so she wasn't on the and she's still waiting around and I got three witnesses saying it. So, okay, I'm with you. Although the woman said she was trying to protect her child from possible danger using an unsafe item after things had settled could not be ignored. She was informed that her response carried legal consequences. >> All right, Mr. I need to clear that what's I need to clear the gun just to make sure everything is on. Where's it at? You say you need to search just to get the gun. Just to get the gun. Just make sure it's all everything's good with the gun. >> Oh, okay. >> I got it. I got it. Oh, I'm sorry. And I have a safety. >> All right. Now I'm going to go talk to her. Put her hand on. All right. Tell me from the very beginning one more time. >> Okay. I'm standing outside. Like I said, me and my my witnesses, Brand Brandy, who stays there. Rochelle stays there. We were outside. The kids were outside playing. Okay. The dog comes bolting. This is the thing. He sit and he and the kids attested and and tell you, they told the officer cuz I said, "My daughter was talking to you." The dog, he sits there laughing while the dog is bolting, jolting up to try to bite the kids, the damn people. >> Yes. [screaming] Yes. You see what I'm saying? This is every day. And they and they all STARTED RUNNING, SCREAMING. MY SON STARTED SCREAMING, CRYING. MAMA, mama flew my damn door open. I said, what is wrong? All they the dog, the dog, the dog. HE ALL UP ON MY GODDAMN PORCH. B COMING AND GROWLING at the damn kid. I'm talking about like what the So I come to THE DOOR AND I'M LIKE, GET WHERE'S THE DOG? You need to get your damn dog. Get your dog. He's sitting there laughing. The son is. So the dog, HE STARTS RUNNING AROUND. ALL THE KIDS START SPLATTERING. HE WHING AT THE DAMN DOG AT THE KIDS. And they scared. THEY WERE WONDERING SCARED AND CRYING. >> I got you. >> And he's sitting there laughing ALL LIKE THAT [ __ ] WAS FUNNY. AND ALL I DID WAS TELL HIM. THAT'S WHY MY MY neighbors tried TO TELL HIM, "YOU DON'T need to be disrespectful. It's a grown woman." AND I DIDN'T SAY I DIDN'T DO I didn't say anything to him. I just said I said, "GET YOUR DOG. GET YOUR DAMN DOG. GET THE DOG." BECAUSE IF THE DOG BITE MY KIDS, it's going to be a problem. >> And he comes back. He's Oh, I don't give a about that. You going to sit on the stairs with them. I mean, I don't give a about none of that. I ain't trying to hear that. And they saying, "Son, you don't got to be disrespectful. She telling you to get your dog cuz this is every day >> and then we GOING TO BE CALLING Y'ALL RIGHT HERE CUZ the [ __ ] going to be that damn kill one of these damn kids and then what it's it's it's just proper protocol. You got a dog put the dog on the knees. >> Yeah, >> she has a legit reason. The thing that make it tricky is they're saying that the board was walking backwards like walking back towards the apartment with the dog saying and that's when that's when she and he said he didn't see the gun so it makes sense. You can call, but if she wasn't making like direct threats to somebody and she was just saying, "Get your Hannibal out of here." And she wait around. I mean, >> call a call. >> All right, Miss Orange. I I got to take you for reckless conduct. All right. >> Come on now. >> I got to I got to >> Don't do that. I wasn't reckless. What do you >> Listen, that's the best that's the best thing I can do for you. It's a misdemeanor. It's a bond. All of that. But I have to take you today, >> dog. >> So I I I got to I got to do what I got to do. So my thing is >> you take and I got witnesses. That's not right. Come on now. >> I got to do this. So now the question is witnesses. >> The question is now how can we what can we do for your >> bro? It's it's already been made. Like >> how can I go for reckless conduct when I got witnesses? >> You like you you have a damn court. I can't explain no >> and then for her to come over here on my property, dog. >> I'm sorry. >> I need to call my mama. >> We'll let you call her. >> Can I get my door locked? >> Is somebody else inside the house? >> No. >> All right. Sorry. >> Mommy is this here crazy as a reckless conduct. Why would I go to I could go to jail for reckless conduct and this girl still got her apartment at the SWAT. This [ __ ] y'all is out of control though. >> I'm like you know you know you know I was rooting for you. You know I was rooting for you. >> This crazy. >> How and how is that possible? Huh? >> It's based off what they said. >> They say but I got more than one >> witness. They had the same amount and it's it's what I'm saying. >> You ain't even ain't nobody EVEN GOT NO EVIDENCE. THAT'S THAT'S WRONG DOG. YOU AIN'T EVEN GOT NOBODY all them people stand out there but not one video. But if I did that, dog, you know, I was rooting for you. You know, I was >> call my mama for I will call my mama. >> While seated in the patrol vehicle, the woman appeared overwhelmed as the different explanations from those involved did not clear up what had taken place. >> How can you How? Listen, I want some real like real [ __ ] >> Okay, I this this is where it got bad. All right, you know how I was going to let everything go. Just do a report on it and just everybody go by their way. It was going to be a fight out here tonight for one. >> No, it wasn't. >> It was They was fight. They was just guess when I would have called the police rightfully and called y'all to come lock him up cuz I didn't move from in front of my house not one time. >> That that was one. But here's the tricky part. Originally you was right right about the dog and the your child. >> But the where it got bad is where they said the boy walked away and they said that he didn't. They said he was still you not listening to my witnesses. Relle, you not listening dog. I'm the both of my witnesses was here. They saw the whole thing. He came back down here. Don't with me. I didn't walk away. You think I'm saying it? Play with you. Mr. White, I swear they all them girls that just was down there did not see nothing. They was sitting on their porch. They didn't come off their porch until the girl with the green hair, she came over here to me. You could call my witness right now. SHE JUST WENT AROUND THE CORNER TO DROP HER KID. THAT'S WHAT SHE WAS TRYING TO TELL YOU. DAMN SERIOUS. >> I was making sure somebody didn't stop. But >> I'm soing serious. Like I'm No, he did not walk away on my Listen to me. I can't do the lying. I I'm already going through this [ __ ] but I swear to God when he went he came down here. When he took the doll, he walked back and put the doll in the house and he came back down here. That's what my neighbor upstairs was trying to get him to leave and tell him, "You don't have to be disrespectful." Because he said, "I don't give a about none of that. I don't give a about none of that." And he came back down here. >> You know, stuff escalate when come out. You know what I mean? She was originally right. That's what I'm saying. That's why it's so hard. But she was on her porch and she had a license to carry and she was on her porch. >> I mean, what's she doing wrong? >> Tell me what happened so I can You ain't telling me what happened. >> If you want to play like that, then I got to go with I know. You know what I'm saying? But >> no no no because she said something. >> She was standing by her door. She had the [ __ ] by her back. She never she never went. She already told him. Yeah. So she's standing by the door, but she's talking like he's Yeah. The boy he was being disrespected. M was being disrespectful. So she was in her door. Yeah. Saying what she had to say. But at the end of the day, I got kids out here. So if I felt like it was really come on in the house. No, we got Everybody had a kids out here. She had kids out here. I had my kids out here in my neighbor. Come on. So we all got minors out here. But the big point is the everybody is saying it was waves. You know what I'm saying? And at the point where the dog was that could have covered her, the location of the dog, that's the difference. That's the main stuff. Like I said, the best I can do is a misdemeanor. It's nothing. It'll probably get dropped. But tonight, if I, you know, if everybody would have went about their way, guess what would have happened? >> I don't know. >> You know what I'm saying? So, and it could have been worse than this. Oh, a cop was out here. He didn't do nothing. That's exactly what y'all be saying, right? >> As officers sorted through the differing accounts. They also spoke with the children's grandmother. She strongly defended her daughter and maintained that [music] the dog was the real issue. Even so, the earlier actions had unintentionally created a risk for another child who was not directly involved. >> I almost attacked my grandkids and she's a mother and she has a right to defend her kids and she going to jail. >> He wasn't. I know you came up a little high. I know. I know you upset trying to figure out. >> But you go to the house because she talked about this pitbull before out here running. >> My grandkids now talking about >> she stuff changes when get involved into it though. But she was originally right. I'm going to tell you like that. Then what she going to jail for? >> I said originally. >> It's either she is right or she not right. >> Originally originally in it because a mother has a right to >> I just went through this here. >> I get you. I know you're frustrated. I know you're frustrated. I just frustrated. I know you're frustrated. >> I just went through it with my neighbors next door. My dog came at me when I was pulling my trash can. Pit bull at large and I took him to court. The pit is gone. >> Mhm. >> The pit is gone. I called the police off and it was in the midday in the evening like this. I want to KNOW WHY SHE HAS TO GO to jail for defending herself. And you going to have to use a weapon with a pitbull cuz it ain't going to just say AND GO AWAY. NOW YOU BEEN TO THE HOME WHERE THE PITBULL WAS AT. Y'ALL DOING YOUR JOB. I WANT TO GET ME A SUPERVISOR OUT HERE RIGHT NOW. >> Right now. >> Okay. So who been to the house and saw the >> investigation has been done. I'm not trying to license and the dog come >> and she can because that's the dog. >> So what ARE Y'ALL TALKING ABOUT? SHE had a weapon. She can have that. >> Ma'am, you weren't here at all. So you don't know what happened. You're just going based on what you were told by her >> in this state of Georgia >> can carry a weapon. this [ __ ] crazy. I don't bother. >> So, I'm going TELL YOU RIGHT NOW, IF YOU'RE TAKEN UP BECAUSE OF THAT, >> I'm I'm This is going to be a lawsuit out of this world because anybody can put this pet weapon on and walk up and down the street. You going to arrest him? >> Don't tell me. I might not been here, but I heard and I know about that dog. I know about the dog. I KNOW ABOUT THE DOG. I want to do this to a MOTHER IN FRONT OF MY WITNESSES RIGHT HERE. SEE, >> SHE WITNESS. >> Was you at the home with the pimp, >> man? We we >> look at her in front of my door. >> Over there at THE HOUSE. SHE WALKED ALL THE WAY DOWN HERE IN FRONT OF MY DOOR. COME ON OUT OF MEAN TO FIGHT ME. >> I'm I'm restart cuz I didn't see the beginning. All right. >> That's my neighbor standing there. >> I'm just I'm just scrolling to record. >> Go ahead. Play it. >> You apparently you're listening to one side cuz she's inside that car and the pitbull. Y'ALL NEVER WENT TO THE HOUSE. And I'm going to find out why y'all ain't went to that house. The witnesses told me on the phone, "Y'all didn't go down there. Y'all ain't wen the pitbull." >> Okay. Again, you weren't here and you don't know that for sure. >> I don't have to be good. He came down here in front of your daughter mean you ain't doing this. >> I wasn't doing that. I got the phone in MY HOUSE. THAT'S MY THAT'S MY RIGHT HAND. I'M RIGHT-HANDED. I with my right hand. I'm right-handed. I won't even have to in my left hand because I don't I don't >> She brought her out to defend her small kids. What kind of human beings are y'all that's being officer right now? She was ONLY TRYING TO PROTECT. >> OKAY, MA'AM. Like supervisor will be here in a moment. You can speak with him about what's going on. Everybody was talked to, not just one person. You want to request the supervisor? I got a call from her and several other neighbors. Same the pitbull that lives across the street. And I done been down here to my daughter's house. I done got out the car and that pit bull will be over there. I'm so scared to come out because they let it be at large all the time, officer. But now today, here the pitbull out is out. It's up here. They out here playing. And they said the dog ran up here and chased them up to their porch. Come here, Aubrey. >> Uhhuh. >> Tell the officer what the dog was doing. >> Just chasing me. Didn't it jump on me? >> The dog jumped on you? Did he give you a boo boo or no? No. >> What did he do, though? >> Tell him what he did. >> What's up, buddy? >> He's fine. >> He jumped on. >> Get your ass down. >> He jumped. He jumped on me and he was scratching down. >> He's scratching on you. So, she she definitely has a right to uh defend herself with the dogs. It's just what everyone else was saying. All the witnesses. >> Listen, sir. >> She has the right to bear arms with these. You see this age here with a pitbull. >> I understand. >> Y'all missing a concept here. Y'all ain't even questioning these people up here because they just said, "Grandma, we was out here with our own kids. Every all the kids start screaming and running in the direction for um shelter and safety. All those kids." That gentleman just told me, see him right there? >> Yeah. >> He said, "Grandma, it's wrong. WHAT THE HE GOT LATCHED INTO ONE OF THESE KIDS?" AND HE ALMOST did it because she said he was up ON HER. THAT'S WHAT MADE HER COME OUT HERE AND BEING AGGRESSIVE. >> Why are you yelling? >> Listen, cuz these are migraines. I'm upset. Sir, you don't me. I don't talk. I'm talking normal. You're talking normal. >> I need y'all down here. >> So, I'll have them get their statement. But there's other witnesses also that these guys talked to that are contradicting what happened. She has a right to, yes, bear arms, to protect herself, the kids against his dog. Uh, I'm not sure what the other witnesses told these guys. Whatever they told them was enough for them to decide that she overdid it with with the with the >> she overdid it with a pit bull. >> Apparently, she was she was point she was pointing the kid the kid one of the kids allegedly picked up the dog, had the dog secured, and she was still pointing it at the kid. >> The kid is 16. >> Okay. >> That's who came and got the dog. Right. She still had the pointed at him and saying stuff. That's what I was being That's what I'm being told. >> Can't you understand adrenaline in front of your daughter >> with a pitbull? >> I understand that. But but >> logically, if it was your kids, but >> you're not coming out here and you're not going to be >> if you're going to have a weapon like we do and everybody else that has one, you still have to use >> Aubrey. I need you still. you have to uh you have to use proper judgment and everything else with a weapon. The issue wasn't about that. She did everything right until the point of where the I understand I heard it until the 16-year-old had the dog in her arms. The dog was secure. There was no longer >> And you know what? He was using foul language and cussing her out in front of her door about what she ain't going to do to his dog, which his dog is totally OUT OF OUT OF OUT of order at large. And you going to call you you going to TALK YOUR TRASH WHILE YOU GOT THE DOG IN YOUR HAND TO MY MOTHER? Come on. No. >> Listen, let me talk to the officers and then I'll have them >> I want y'all to talk to these witnesses. >> Yeah, they will. They will. >> This complicated situation left officers facing a [music] difficult choice. Allow the woman to leave or move forward with formal procedures. >> Are you taking her to jail or just arrest release her on subpoena? >> Well, I was going to take her cuz it was missing or just regular condiment. At least one of them said she's waving while he's talking. >> You're missing the concept. >> So that's why I just said, "Okay, just let us cuz he's pointing at him while he was walking." That's all they >> It makes sense cuz he didn't even know. But he did come back a couple times. So they're in the wrong too for having a dog off the leash. That is right. >> My thing was if arrest wasn't made, it was going to be a something bigger than this off of this this >> I say take the weapon. >> Mhm. >> This is my secret. We release her on subpoena >> and uh log in as evidence charge her with it if if you're good with it and based on uh what you heard and whatnot. You got all the witnesses info and all that. So here's what's going to happen. These officers I don't tell them what they what they how to do their job. They determined that she was in the wrong with what she did the she's going to be charged but she's going to be released on subpoena and not go to jail. We're taking the gun. It's getting logged in evidence. when she goes to court, she can tell court her story and then she can get her gun back. But for now, she's not going to jail today. She'll go out here, but she is being arrested for that charge and then talk to the reckless conduct. That's the way this is what they determined. They've all been here a long time, these guys. They're going to have to go to court and they're going to have to determine on why they're going to have to explain why they charge her with it. Like I said, we were going to cut her a break going to be charged. She went in court, but now she got a warrant for shoplifting. So now we got to figure that out. If Chadam County wants her, then she goes to jail and then she could bond out in a couple hours probably. >> Did you have a C7 on a subject? It's valid. They they're accepting. >> Copy. All right. They said it was valid. >> So, >> they said it's valid. So, they about to take me. >> It says it's a misdemeanor, shoplifting, and just a shoplifting. That's basically it. >> What's the date of >> The date of the warrant is 913 23. So, like 2 weeks ago. Yeah, >> the woman was charged with reckless conduct with a firearm. Under Georgia law, if convicted, [music] she could face up to one year in prison. In addition, during the process, an outstanding warrant for a prior minor theft offense was discovered, further complicating her legal situation. This story reminds us that protecting children is not only about intention, but also about actions. [music] If each of us paused just a little longer before reacting, our communities could become safer places for the children growing up in them. Not even. >> No. Come here. >> No. Are you kidding? >> Your hands. >> Okay. They're in my bed. >> This is a story told not through the shouting of adults, but through the silence of a child. On the evening of December 3rd, 2024, officers responded to an apartment after a daughter called to report a serious disagreement between her parents. At the scene, emotions were running high and the father repeatedly declined to follow instructions, leading officers to take steps to bring the situation under control. No. >> Sheriff's office. SHERIFF'S OFFICE. >> Don't come in. >> Get out here, both of you, right now. I'm not doing nothing. >> Where's the other one? Where's he at? >> Where's he at? >> Back to back, [laughter] I guess. No, let me go check. >> No one's coming after you. >> St. Sit right there. >> Mike, come just a minute. >> Sit right there. >> Okay, >> sit there. >> Okay. I'm trying. I DON'T WANT MY DOGS TO get hurt, sir. >> Well, you sit there and they won't get hurt. Sit there now. >> Stop. Hi. >> I don't want him right now. I need Chase. >> Okay. On my way. Sit there. I will take care of it. Sit there. >> You're not listening. Sit there. >> Sheriff's Department. Where you at? >> I'm right here. >> Michael, COME OUT TO THE FRONT NOW. SIT there in that chair. Do not move from there until I tell you to. SHERIFF'S OFFICE. MICHAEL, COME OUT HERE NOW. >> MIKE, JUST GO OUTSIDE. >> MICHAEL. JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. >> CALL our Sheriff's Department. Sheriff's office. >> Is there any knives, guns, anything like that back there? >> Uh, no. But can I go to have like I told YOU TO >> JUST COME OUT FRONT. >> I'VE BEEN arrested and I didn't do the first time. >> Well, until you TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON. >> JUST COME OUT. >> DO NOTHING THE FIRST TIME. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING THIS TIME. >> GET OUT HERE AND TELL ME ABOUT IT. >> YOU'RE VIOLATING MY RIGHT. >> NO, I'M NOT. Get out here now. >> MIKE, JUST COME OUT. >> COOPERATE LAST TIME. MIKE, just come out here. >> They arrest me again. >> Get over here and I'll talk to you about it. >> Arrest me and stuff I DIDN'T EVEN DO. >> MIKE. MIKE. >> MIKE, I'm gonna come get you. >> Come out like I told you. >> I DON'T WANT NO PROBLEM. >> TURN OUT NOW. >> COME OUT. Turn around. >> Don't give me a problem. >> Come out. Turn around. >> I never with you, MAN. >> THAT'S FINE. >> WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME? YOU KNOW I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> COME OUT. TURN AROUND. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> YOU'RE GET IT. TURN OUT. Turn around. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Then drive. You can explain that in a >> YOU DID THAT LAST TIME. >> I'm going to give you one more warning. >> You >> You're going to Michael, you're going to write it. >> You know what? I didn't do nothing. >> Turn around. >> I didn't DO NOTHING. >> MICHAEL, THIS IS YOUR LAST OPPORTUNITY. >> YOU LET GOD. >> LAST OPPORTUNITY. JESUS. >> STOP. STOP. >> Turn around. You're done. Tell them I didn't do nothing. >> You're going to get her again. >> GET BACK NOW. >> GET BACK. TURN AROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET BACK there now. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> Get on THE GROUND. >> PUT YOUR ARMS OUT. Put your arms out now. >> That hurt, man. >> Guys, I didn't do nothing for real, man. >> Anybody? I really didn't. Just don't want to go to jail with them. I didn't do I didn't do nothing. >> GET BACK TO THAT CHAIR LIKE I [laughter] TOLD YOU TO. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? GO BACK OUT OF MY HOUSE. >> I want you out. >> No. Come here. >> No. I >> Give me your hands. >> Okay. Stop. Let me >> give me your hand. >> Okay. Okay. >> Watch her. I'm not doing that. I cannot have my hands. >> I didn't resist. I just didn't come to you. >> You resisted by not coming to me. >> Well, I mean, I I didn't come to you, but I didn't Nobody. >> Okay. I need you to roll to this side. Put your knees up. I don't give a nothing. >> Okay. Stand straight up. >> Why would I at this point? >> Slowly walk. Don't walk ahead of me. >> Hey, daddy. dog. >> My guy didn't do nothing. I did. >> What did I do? >> My dog. What did I do? >> What did I do? >> My dog is my service. Why you >> Why you arrested her? >> Walk this way. >> He's in custody. She's not arrested. >> I got dogs here. >> I understand that. >> I don't know what it's like to go to jail because you don't go to that mother. >> You have a warrant. One. >> I know. Because of her. You know what it's like to be arrested for something you did not do? >> My wife lied on me. You guys don't believe me and you never will. You get the other prongs, too. >> Got two right now. >> Okay. >> My job. >> Go that way. >> Can you call in for me? I'm going to lose my mother job. You know how long I went without having a job? >> You guys don't give a about nobody here. >> This was not the first time. Similar disputes had happened many times in this family to the point that the daughter had become used to isolating herself in her room and turning to her phone to escape the tense atmosphere outside. >> I'm Deputy Timstead sheriff's office. All right. So, you understand that you're being audibly and video recorded right now? >> Yes. >> Okay. Tell me what happened. >> So, they was fighting >> about what time? >> About they started fighting about 5:00. >> Okay. >> So, tonight and I just stayed out of it. Stayed on my bed. Try to stay on my phone to occupy myself cuz they argue all the time. They're married, whatever. So, I stayed out of it about six o'clock and then I still stayed out of it and then they started screaming. My dad started bringing me into it because it got worse. >> What's your dad's name? >> Okay. >> They started screaming at me and it got worse. >> Okay, >> calm down. >> Okay. Hey, >> can tell me what happened. >> Just don't care. I just disagree and thinking I'm against him. I mean, and then our kid, she starts screaming and cousin yelling storms out the door. weeping have arms with her being a teenager not want to go to school and stuff and just bargain >> and then whenever I tried to stick up for myself cuz he was starting to get in my face or didn't he didn't touch me but he started getting by me and screaming at me so I just stayed up on my bed and he went and sat down and then they were screaming and he kept running back and forth and then then they was doing that for a while and then my about like 7:00 right before I walked out like 15 minutes before I walked out and called because >> inside uh she's got a ear I don't know It's right there. It's not that big. It's not that big of a deal. I'm 16. >> Dad was yelling. They were both yelling at each other. You were in your room, correct? >> Yes. >> Okay. What happened? >> And then I was staying in my room by myself to stay out of it because I always get brought into the argument and it always ends up this. So, I stayed out of it until he started yelling at me. I still stayed out of it until she I got off my bed cuz I was packing my stuff because I texted my aunt when I still had the internet if I could go to her house because it was getting bad. And I was trying to find a ride there. And my mom heard me talking the phone to my aunt and I hung up. That's when she grabbed a hold of me and tried to take my phone before I had a [clears throat] chance to call because I said I was calling whenever I walked out. >> Calling 911. >> Yeah. And she tried to take I didn't have internet at this point. She had already took the internet and shut it off. So I couldn't get a hold of anybody. >> You never once got physical. That's what you're trying to tell me. >> No, I didn't get a physical. >> Okay. This where I want you to be honest with me. >> I didn't get physical. >> All right. >> So I just wanted to find out what your what was going on. Okay, I'm going to talk to you more in a minute. Okay. >> So, then she tried to she was trying to grab my phone. I put it in my pocket and she grabbed the hair on me by my hair of the head and was dragging me to the ground and >> she grabbed your hair like wrapped it >> like she grabbed me by the bottom of my hair and wrapped her hand around my hair and the only thing I did is put my hand out to try to keep her away from me. >> During the argument between them two, did it get physical between them two? >> Not really hitting each other besides them throwing stuff at each other. >> Okay. I don't know if either of them got, but I know that they was throwing stuff at each other. >> You didn't see any of them hitting each other? >> No, because I was in my room. I was trying to stay away from >> I got to ask. Okay. When your mom grabbed you, did she your ear at that time? >> When? Yes. Whenever she trying to leave the house, >> I was trying to walk out because I texted my aunt. I was trying to find a ride out. >> Once you got outside, that's you stayed out here and they continued to argue inside. >> As soon as I walked out, I called 911 and they were still arguing. Despite efforts to minimize her involvement, the mother was still held accountable for her role in the situation. >> Right now, you're being detained >> for uh domestic violence. You're right. >> The deeper they looked, the more issues surfaced, revealing concerning patterns in how the adults manage daily life. >> Is there another >> kid? Yeah. Where's he at? He's in my mom's room. >> Oh, yeah. He's on. You could. He was in the bed. You mind if he walked right back here? >> They just have to look like they looked at him. >> Hey, baby. Wake up. >> Hey, boo. >> They got to check you out. Okay. You're a hard sleeper. They got to check you out. He shakes. >> I don't know why. >> I think he might be autistic, too. >> They do that. He was like that earlier. He just shakes. See? >> Does he feel cold on his skin? >> He shakes like that with his autism. Okay. You say he's soaking wet? Yeah, he pees. He pees in his in the bed. Like when he's sleeping, he'll pee cuz he wasn't wet when I brought him back here. So it's okay, baby. >> He He don't wear no diaper or nothing. >> He does, but he didn't put one on him. I didn't put one on him this morning because he, you know, we had just gotten up and he had just gotten up, but then he went back to sleep. >> I mean, you got to know this ain't help before. >> Yeah, I know. And his doctor Yeah. I'm trying to get that room cleaned up and is why I've got all those bags and stuff in there. I'm getting it. But that's where you keep them all at. >> I have been. Yes. >> That ain't that smart. >> Oh, it's not. And I'm trying to get it clear. >> That's why I worry about her cuz she's been eating and breathing it in my face. >> Don't take it personal. She don't know. She don't know. >> Um, we changed that around because when Chloe was or when her sister was in here, she didn't want Chloe to come in there when Chloe was out of her room. Yeah, we did that. Yeah. Um, and we weren't trying to, you know, keep her locked in there. We don't even lock that door now. She's just not in there now. That trash was wall. There was no space to walk in when I came the first time that she was in that tent. >> Girl, they had her in the tent. >> The case of the 10-year-old girl was especially thoughtprovoking. >> The police actually. >> Come here, baby. Come this way. >> No, you're fine. You're okay. All this was trash. And she was when I walked in, she was pulling her out of the tent to put her clothes on. Yeah, I said she don't know. She She wipes her everywhere and she spit. She don't know. >> Bless her heart. But I do have a sp. That's why I'm worried about her walk that way, buddy. >> Maybe getting a body cuz she's been eating it. Breathing this in. >> Last time she piled, >> so I took her to the hospital. >> The grandmother's room was tidy, but the children's space raised concerns about the family's supervision and living conditions. >> That old lady's room is immaculate. How do you as an adult let other children live like that? You can at least try. >> She's being able body and whatnot. >> Yeah, her room is clean. The room with the little boys sleep. >> Her room is nice. >> I'm calling you back. >> They say anything. >> She is walking in the crowds now to get that order. So, I can go ahead and take them to if y'all just stand by for her to at least say she's got it in her hand. >> She's going. >> Yeah. Chloe have to sit with her too. Unless they can take her from the hospital and ride in with her to she going to jail. >> Yeah. Sorry. There's like four people talking. >> It's the same. >> But she's walking in there now. >> We all going to >> I just I just called her. >> What she said? >> She said she's walking in to get order now. >> She's going to walk in. >> Oh, >> I'm going to Sorry. >> You know, we're not trying to hide nothing. >> Yeah. No, no, no. >> I'm handicapped. I can't make it to the foot. We use both hands on it. Yeah, I understand. >> My anatomy is not the same as normal. >> Mine neither after kids. >> I mean, I've got >> I know. I'm just being silly. But for a woman, it never goes back the same. >> Yeah, I understand that. My mom, she had to have a hyerectomy because of all us. But >> I forgot we do got that other adult, but she I think she could take care of herself. The other one with the ID in the back, she looks biracial. >> She's an autistic kid. >> Yeah. How old is she? She's She's a kid. I think she's an adult. She's that mom. >> She had ID takes care of her. >> She's 30. I'm 89. She can take care of herself. They just dress her like a child. >> The condition of the disabled father also couldn't be ignored. Officers had to balance legal procedures with efforts to help improve the family's living conditions. >> I'll go talk to the mother-in-law about APS. >> Okay. >> I see. >> Adult protective services. That'll be for you and for her. Can you step outside? They're going to talk to you. She's 30. >> She's 31. >> 31. Okay. >> Yes. if you'll step outside with them. Hey. Hey, babe. Yeah. Hold APS for them. All right. So, I'm going to get APS out here for her. I'm going to go ahead and tell you what's going on. The two AB able-bodied people are going to go to jail. The only reason you are not is a little sympathy. I feel that maybe you didn't realize how bad your daughter had gotten. I'm going to get APS out here to help you. I'm going to get APS out here to help her. But 10 years, this is the worst I've ever seen. Y'all need help, but somebody has to be responsible. Okay. It'll be to the children. Um and they'll have >> they'll have a hearing. >> No. Yeah. >> So, >> listen, you're not This is how it works. Def is going to get them until you get this clean. Is there somebody that you can call? >> I've got a brother-in-law and her brother-in-law and Joe, my my brother-in-law Jolie, they can take the kids even. They got they got a nice decent place. It's not the biggest. It's a single wife, >> okay? >> But their kids are pretty much they live with her. You can't handle her. >> Her sister can. Her sister is a trained >> See, I'm I'm not trying >> Her sister's a trained caretaker. >> I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm a mom. Somebody has to step in. When I say you can't walk to that room, she could in that room. She was laying in maggots, flies, roaches, and feces. That's what she was sleeping in. You understand? >> And they just they keep me in the dark because I can't go I can't get up and move. >> The way that yard the way >> I basically just come from the bed to here into the shower. I can't. I haven't been in that kitchen in a long time. I've never been back there at all. Not past that threshold. I've always expected my mother-in-law and my daughter. >> And that's why I'm holding them accountable because your mother-in-law is right across the hall from her sleeping in. And I'm not talking about a little bit of fees that she smeared. This is a whole long stretch of that she's laying in. Okay? I don't know how much longer she would have. She's breathing all that in every day. When DeFast gets out here, if they're cool with a family member, I'll get numbers from you. And if a family member is going to take them, great. That's even better for them. We're not trying to be difficult. And then we'll get APS out here to help you. They'll start sending hopefully nursing care, CNA, something like that out here. >> I want to call my wife. >> I'll get your number so she can call you and everything else. >> You depend on her to take care of. >> That's why I'm calling APS today. But something's got to give. >> I That's I'm getting APS out here, but maybe she needs some help. But at the same time, you can't lock your child in that room with all that. When I went in there, that's where she was laying. That's these is that's where your daughter was sleeping. So that's the issue. >> The law not only enforces but also protects children [music] and people with disabilities which is why APS and CPS were involved in the process concerning the father. >> I spent almost $3,000 the last place we looked at for something similar and she promised me that it would never happen again. Well, that's why I said I'm not not trying to be difficult, but I'm a mandated reporter and I'm a mom and I got to get them somewhere safe and clean and healthy cuz the last thing I want to do is leave and she that room. >> Yeah, but it's got to be clean. >> Yes, that's taking her. >> You say your brother can clean it? >> Well, I got brother-in-law and sister and they're going to >> long as they get it clean. That's going to be defects is only concern. >> How long is I mean, how long could she be in jail for? >> Today is Wednesday, but they have a She should have a hearing Friday. She should have a blind hearing Friday. They have it Monday, Monday, Wednesday. >> Nobody leaves her from jail until she >> she has a bond. A bond hearing, >> but they can put her in jail right after the hearing. >> No, somebody pays her bond off the SSI. SSDI. That's all we survive. That's it. I'm bing. Please don't take her. Give them a warning. They're they're willing. They're going to clean it. >> Man, there's no way I can give a warning for that. >> I got nobody else. I got nobody to take care. >> I'm calling APS out here to get you some help and start that up. And And she may need help taking care of all of y'all. She does it. But she don't she doesn't deserve to go to jail with this [ __ ] She's been trying and advocating and asking for help from family members. We've been screaming and asking for help from everybody. And the one person that was helping us, she took off. My daughter, she took off to go move in with her sister, which she had every right to. >> You Yeah, cuz she's not responsible for y'all. Y'all are the parent. She can't raise y'all. >> Yeah. >> And that's why I'm getting APS involved. And then they'll send somebody out here to help you and help her back here. That's still a help. She's 10. She can't fend for herself. >> She's looking for y'all to take care of her. Just like you look for your wife to take care of you. Somebody has to take care of her. And nobody is. And that's just being honest. She's left in that room to eat and sleep in it and be covered in. So >> I'm pissed. I'm mad. I just don't know what I love to This is devastating. >> Yeah, I understand. Well, this is the route we're going to take cuz somebody has to be accountable. There's two able-bodied women in this room. I don't mean no before I take care of my husband. I'm going take care of my child. They're going to be held accountable. We're going to get APS out here to help you. DeFax will be out here. And if they're cool with you calling your family so that the kids are somewhere familiar, I'm cool with that, too. >> See if I can get my uncle. >> Okay. >> Drive in here and stay with me. >> Okay. >> My uncle James. >> Okay. You can start. That's your phone. >> That's not mine. Can she at least come in here and give me my stuff? Where you take her? >> Yeah. Where's your phone? >> It's all in in there. It's in the bedroom somewhere. I got a I got a a meter for my diabetes that's back there. >> Okay. >> I mean, at least can I say bye to her, please? >> Thank you. >> Is this the only firearm that you have? >> That's the only firearm. Yeah. >> Further procedures were carried out and the two adults, the grandmother and the mother had to face their legal responsibilities. >> It's on his chair. >> And what about his phone? >> His phone is on his chair, too. My phone and so is my phone. >> And my phone is sitting in front of you. >> Does he have the passcode to it? >> What? >> The passcode? Does he have the passcode to it? >> My phone? >> Yeah. And she said you could call whoever you need to. She said the same thing as you. She's school with family getting here. So that'll be open up to defects. And I'm about to make a report with APS so I can get them out there to look after y'all. >> How is she uming him? >> The entire house is in disarray. He can't take care of himself. So she's supposed to take care of him. The worst part was her children. And so that's why she's being charged for that. But we want to see if we could get him some services. Yeah. >> She's been disarray. >> And there's another nonverbal autistic adult here as well. She's her mother also lives here. So that's his mother-in-law, but she's going to jail also. We may need services for the other non-verbal autistic adult. Miss Jones, I'm on the phone with APS. I can call her in just a minute. Or if Lynn can call her. >> All right. We going to let you know >> just if we're going to take her what's going to happen. So the defax person will ride to the hospital with the girl. >> She will. Or either family. I told him to start calling the family. Miss Jones don't like that family takes them. Then we can at least we'll have them here. >> Are there any safety concerns like animals, dogs? We can send it to you >> for a fire investigator. >> There was a dog in the house. Yeah. Safety concerns, right? >> No, you got family coming. >> Yeah. >> Okay. How long? >> They want to know how long is before you guys get here. >> Oh, that ain't far. Okay. And I'm on the phone with APS for you and for her. >> The mother and grandmother were charged with three counts of cruelty to children. a first-degree felony. Under Georgia law, each could face a sentence ranging from 5 to 20 years in prison. Every child deserves to live in a safe environment with proper care and education. This calls on both families and society [music] to take active responsibility in protecting their rights. From an unhygienic environment that put three children at risk, Georgia once again drew attention when a young boy had to call 911 to protect himself. >> She was just trying to get out. Y'all didn't want her to go out there. >> No, we don't want to argue in trouble. >> On March 25th, 2025, Athens clar county officers responded to a residence after the boy's mother returned home upset following an argument at a social event. Having experienced similar situations before, the boy made the responsible decision to call 911 to keep everyone safe and prevent further conflict. police. >> We got a call over here. What's going on? >> We had argu argument neighborhood honey. I thought it was you one of them. I about to get them. >> You mind if I come in? Talk. >> No, cuz you can talk to me outside. >> Who else is in here? >> Nobody. Anyway, what's up? >> There's somebody else in there. I heard them. >> My children. Anyway, ain't nobody there. You can ask what going on. >> No, I need to check on your children. >> I showed you. You didn't. >> Yes, I did. >> I need to check on your children. >> No, you don't. >> Yes, I do. >> That ain't how you asked. You didn't come say your children are in the um what you call? >> I'm not asking. I'm telling you. I'm going to go check on your children. >> You can't. I can bring them right on now. >> Step aside, please. >> No. >> How about you sit have a seat in the chair? >> Step aside. >> Just have a seat in the chair. >> Why you push me? >> I'm not pushing you. I'm moving you out. >> Why you pushing me? >> Move aside, please. I'm going to check on you. >> How do you do it, though? Why you pushing me? >> What's your name, man? >> What the hell? >> Hey, who else is in here? My children. >> What's your name, man? >> Who? >> What's going on? Who's her boyfriend? >> What? >> Where? Won't you have a seat? Won't you sit down? >> No, that ain't how you do it. >> Will you sit down, please? >> Would I put you in your house? >> No, cuz you're not coming to my house. >> I would never. But you you should not come in my house. No car. >> So, uh uh-uh. You're not going in there. Stop. A nearby neighbor began recounting what had happened. >> What's up, man? >> What's up, man? >> We got a call over here tonight. What's going on? >> Some neighbors, not neighbors, not the next door neighbor, but it was um a couple houses down and they wanted to jump on her. >> Okay. >> And um she was very angry cuz she was she were upset and angry cuz they want to jump on her. She was like, "Well, they trying to jump on me. Can y'all help me?" And I said, "We ain't going to go outside and fight no folk for what? We ain't got to go fight no folks. We can call the police on them." Okay. >> But we didn't call the police on them and and she was so very upset. She came in the house yelling and screaming. >> Okay. Can y'all come downstairs on me? What's your name, man? >> My name? >> Yeah. What's your birthday? >> Outside, the mother remained uncooperative even after realizing the seriousness of the situation. >> Sit down. Sit down in the chair. >> Excuse me. >> Sit down. Stay right there. Do not move. >> Don't grab me. >> All right. What's your name? >> What's your name? >> Dustin. Dustin. >> Dustin. >> Dustin. Yes. What's your name? Think I heard about you. M >> I never heard about you. It's worth it to know about. >> I done heard about you. >> So what's going on? You talked about you said some neighbor You said some neighbor drama. >> You said some neighbor drama. >> Sir, why not? >> Cuz I don't talk to you. >> Why are you so difficult? >> Cuz you being mean. >> Push me. >> Yeah, cuz I needed you to sit down and you weren't listening. >> Then how you tell nobody sit down? >> Well, I asked you very nicely. >> My hands on me. Well, if I ask you and then I tell you and then you don't do it, then I'm gonna make >> I don't You ain't gonna make me do >> what I don't you move. >> All right then. Why don't you do it? >> Because your is in authority. >> Yeah. >> And your jeopardy. I ain't either. >> You're very smart. You know what's going on. >> I know. And you know what going on? >> Yeah. >> I ain't going nowhere. And what's up? Nothing you talking about. Inside, the children started speaking out about their mother's behavior, revealing the psychological impact of the adults actions. >> My [ __ ] I don't want my mother cuz she going start act crazy. >> Yeah, I won't tell her what what's going on. >> I guess she was somebody cross the street and then I guess they were trying to dump her and then she came in here yelling and stuff. They started tearing up the house. >> She started tearing up the house. >> Yeah. And she was trying to get out the house and we was locking the door and she kept on fighting us and she propell >> Did she ever was she trying to y'all? >> My children love me. >> I'm glad. >> Exactly. >> They should. They're supposed to. >> Do you have children? >> Nope. But I love >> But I love my parents too. >> So >> I love my parents. >> Love me too. >> Good. >> And I got too. >> You love your parent? Do you love your parents? >> Do they love me? >> I don't know. >> I don't know who the either. >> I would hope so. >> I hope so too. >> I bet they do. Or they don't. >> No, they don't. What makes you say that? >> I say something. I feel the energy in the vibe. >> I can feel the energy of the vibe of y'all spirit. They don't love you. They're just happy. >> No, she was just trying to get out. >> Y'all didn't want her to go out there. >> No, >> cuz we don't want her to get in trouble. >> Y get out that I ain't going nowhere with. And if I do, I'm like, "H, let's go." >> Sounds good to me. >> Y come here for me and my children and my boyfriend have disagreement and argument. We heard through the door. >> Get up. >> Okay. >> Y'all saying dumb as >> Don't put your hands on me no more. Don't grab my arm. >> If you do what we ask, >> I said don't grab my arm. >> If you do what we ask you to do, >> I said, >> "Are you the dad?" >> No, I'm not. Now, one of they parents. I'm not one of their parents. I was over here trying to diffuse the situation and I couldn't diffuse it. >> I did. I did, but I was trying to go back in. You grabbing on me >> cuz you're not going back in. >> It's my house. >> I don't care. >> I don't give a either. >> Okay. >> Don't put your mother hands on me. >> All right. If you stay right there, I won't. >> Several more statements were taken, but the officer's main concern remained ensuring the children's safety. >> Okay. Well, you know, >> we got a call about some domestic and when I pulled up, I could hear yelling and screaming in here. >> She was yelling and screaming and that's why I'm in here. I tried my best to diffuse the situation. They tried their best too. The um cuz she want to go fight them folks. And I said, "Look, if you go out there and fight them, you going to get locked up. If you go out there and fight them, and they might get Don't get locked up, too." >> Did she break the TV? >> Thank you. Fail. >> Just fell. >> I don't know what happened to the TV. All I know it was screaming, yelling, and I stayed upstairs. >> We on that level. >> Thank you for getting your hands on me. >> Forgetting those right away. >> Yeah. Put your hands on me. He put his hands on me. >> You know her name. He No, I don't. >> He laid hands on me. He grabbed me and snatched me. >> What? What was going on today? >> First of all, they didn't ask. They just make they they forced me into my house. >> Who is um >> him and the other man in my house. I came out, they grabbed me and pull me. So, I was like, "Oh, no. You're not going back in." Oh, okay. So, first of all, you didn't even ask me what going on. You just told me what was going on. They was the one who um trying to stop her from going outside and getting into altercation with the um other people on the last building down there. >> Okay. cuz some man had touched her the wrong way and she was very upset and they all the man the the man and woman tried to jump on her and she came and told us and I was like love we I'm not going to go over there and fight for you folks for you with you but I would um try my best to calm you down though and they will too and they did and I did and she didn't like that she was very upset and she were angry >> all right I'm going to go talk to her >> and you made your way on in my house and I tried to walk back in said no you're not and snatched me by the arm Yes, I am. Cuz this my house. Nobody arm wrest your house. Don't matter what going on. You should have asked and you should have hand the devil. But you didn't. You didn't ask. >> So what is uh what is going on? >> Nothing going on. Me and my friend had came from a friend house and got know we got into an argument. Me and my boyfriend and then my troop was in the house and they like no mama don't go back outside. You don't got to be had no argument. This and that. He never got to understand or he just burst on in my house. >> I got you. >> Cuz they got authority. this big man being mean. >> However, the mother made the situation more complicated by responding emotionally and expressing concern about her privacy. >> But here, I'm going to explain to you why I went >> me through my house. >> I'm going to explain it to you. >> But you don't do that. >> Will you let me talk? >> Yes, sir. >> We got a call about a fight >> and never no fight. >> Well, people describe fights in a lot of different ways. >> Okay. >> When I when I walk up and I hear yelling and screaming and I can hear children inside your house, >> it doesn't matter. Yes, it does. >> You push me to the side. You >> I'm going to go check on the welfare of your children. >> Nothing wrong with them. >> How do I know that? >> Cuz you are not called from here. It doesn't matter. Yes, it do. >> That has nothing to do with this. >> Yes, you do. It's a legal law that you have to have authorization to have. >> Yeah, it's called legal authority. >> I don't give you how but you don't me out of the way to go brushing my house. >> I'm going to do it to make sure everybody in the apartment is okay. >> You don't post it. >> Okay. All right. Let me talk to you real quick. >> Yeah. Talk to who you want to. >> Your uh boyfriend, does he also live? >> No, he's a visitor. >> He's a visitor. >> Yeah, we have disagreement with somebody up the street. I don't care if you didn't find us on no argument, no disagreement down there cuz the argument [ __ ] though. Besides, if we didn't have no agreement down there, what probably up on me, you don't have me on nothing. Don't walk up me walking out and you me out the way running in my house. You can't do that. I don't give who you is. Everybody gone. You don't see nobody, no bystander, no nothing there, no witnessing, no people, no person. You only see me coming outside, sitting back on the porch and play my music cuz I can sit on my porch anytime I want to. This is my house. I sit on port to 5:00 in the morning if I want to. >> Officers discussed how to follow legal procedures while still ensuring the boy's safety. >> And her boyfriend's up there in the bedroom. >> That's this guy. >> Yeah. So, we make sure it's him. >> I've dealt with her before. >> Have you? >> Yeah. He used to see Remember that guy that was over at that building over there? me and Tyler responded to and he was saying some weird you're like we're we're not doing this anymore. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's a violation of family violence order. >> Yep. >> The investigation continued as they confirmed the identities of everyone in the home which revealed the legal status of the mother's boyfriend. >> How's it going? Remember me? Remember me? >> Do you remember me? >> I do remember you. >> How? >> I've been out with you a couple times. >> And did you lock me in? >> No, I didn't. I didn't lock you up. >> We always have great conversation. >> That's right. I think last time last time I was here was >> I want to talk to you if you want to talk to me. >> Absolutely. Was that okay? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. What's going on? >> A neighbor had disagreement and I left. Me and my children and my people in the house had disagreements and they no mama don't go back outside. We need you to stay in the house. It was a disagreement about me staying in the house and me like no no cuz I didn't want to. >> Who's who's the neighbor that you were having a disagree with? >> Nobody. >> Okay, that's okay. Is that all that was going on? Just uh >> Okay. But I'm tired of >> You said you're not at all. >> No. >> Is there on your arm? >> No. My mom did that. >> Oh, it's an older scar. I see. Okay. >> My mama did that. >> It's a verbal disagreement. >> Mhm. Other than that, that man had pushed me out the house. Made me stand outside my house. He pushed that man. The one that you talked to before that man walked away. >> Oh, my lieutenant over there. >> No. Who he is? >> Okay. What? From what he told me, he just he needed to check on the kids. That's That's all it is. >> They're going to confuse. He need to check on your own gear. >> No joke. >> Yes, he do. >> Yeah. Come on. >> Sucking another man anyways. >> Anyways, >> that's my opinion. I can have my opinion like y'all can have your >> Of course. Of course. >> Right. I said what I said. She sucking another man. >> Well, leave me alone then. I tell you what really going. I feel energy. I feel like you a great man. I feel like he a great man. I feel that other man. >> He's a great guy. >> Yeah, I know. I can feel energy. Don't me. I can say what I want just like y'all can. >> Of course. >> I ain't doing nothing. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. I didn't I didn't say you did. I just wanted to do >> you talking about do I remember you might remember me. >> I do remember you. Last time I was out here was for your son that uh stopped somebody's windshield in. Remember that? >> One of my best friends. >> Yeah, that was an unfortunate situation. >> And the other one too. Um I don't know your name, but I like him too. I like you. I like it. Y'all >> y'all cool. Y'all understandable. Y'all relatable people that can understand or hear you out. Try to put you in. I don't care who they what they sergeant rank or whatever it is. I ain't in no rank in the motherhood. >> Well, when >> I'm a mama. I've been a mama since I was 16. >> Yeah. >> Have you? >> No. >> When your baby born? >> My baby was born last year. >> How old were you? >> I was 28. >> I'm 30. Next. >> You can't tell me how to be no mama. Can't tell me how to be no person. Can't tell me how to be no relatable person. And And now I had no mama and daddy. >> Yeah. >> I only had my granddad. So, >> how many kids you got? >> Two. They both in the house. 15. And my son and my daughter going to be 11. My son going to be 15.
