I told you to step out of your [ __ ] vehicle, do you understand me? Can you turn it off? You shut the [ __ ] up, okay? Sometimes the police and crime finds you, and it could be in the form of a car going barreling past you through a red light at a high rate of speed. And if you happen to be that person that's driving that vehicle, when you get called out of the vehicle, don't barricade and refuse to get out. Because if you do, you're going to get ripped out of the vehicle, thrown into handcuffs, and a trip down to jail. This is one of those. Vehicle just blew through with a red light right past the patrol vehicle. Look at the bottom left and look at the speeds that it's going to take the trooper to have to catch up to this vehicle. This is what happens, people put officers in extreme danger in order to catch up. Watch the speeds. So, you can see the lights in the back of the bed of the pickup. You can hear the siren, and if you look at those four words on the bottom, mic, brakes, lights, siren. The ones that are green are the things that are engaged. And this person has not pulled over yet. It is possible that they don't know. It happens many more times than you know that people sometimes don't realize their music's up loud, they could be drunk, we just don't know, but we'll see what happens. This is what I like. This is a safe practice. Stop the vehicle, your adrenaline is up because you were just driving 100 plus miles an hour to catch this person. Observe everything that's going on. Take a deep breath and figure out who it is that we're potentially dealing with. And you've heard me say this before, call them back to your vehicle. Now, I would have preferred if you call them back from the right front quarter panel because then you still have cover from your vehicle. If you can see, there's a lot of things going on, but I can see I like that she's saying come back to me cuz you can't tell what's going on in the vehicle and why did he keep going for that long? Sometimes in those situations you'll see the officers angry and upset because they had to go that fast and they'll just get out of that car, boom, and walk right up on the vehicle. Deep breath and taking a second and figuring things out. Good stuff that I'm seeing. Step back here, driver, now. Now. Right here. Right here. Step back here. Now. Come here. Step back here, now. Driver, step back here. STEP BACK HERE, NOW. COME HERE. COME BACK HERE. COME BACK HERE, DRIVER. COME. STEP BACK HERE. DRIVER. STEP BACK HERE, BUDDY. HEY. STAY BACK HERE. JUST COME HERE. COME BACK HERE. ROLL YOUR WINDOW DOWN. ROLL YOUR WINDOW DOWN. DRIVER, STAY BACK HERE. DRIVER. Stay back here, bud. Driver. Step out of the vehicle and step to the rear now. Step to the rear now. I'm telling you right now, if you don't step to the rear, I will take you out. Do you understand me? Step out of the vehicle. >> Okay, some good stuff. And I'm going to share something with you that's a little advanced policing technique, which I know is going on here with this trooper. It's called OODA loop. Observe, orient, decide, act. We observe the situation, we orient ourselves to exactly what's going on, we decide what we're going to do, and then we act. So, this OODA loop continually goes on as the trooper is doing his stop. Okay, I'm comfortable back there. Let me orient myself to where I'm going. Let me decide what I'm going to do. Now it feels more comfortable to go up to this window. This is something that you could utilize in everything that you do in life. It was created by Air Force pilot. I think his name was John Boyd, Colonel John Boyd. The OODA loop is something in the military and policing that we use. And you adjust your situation and your actions according to this cuz you're constantly observing, orienting, deciding, and acting each step. This loop is very, very safe as you progress through a stop. Driver. Turn the car off. Turn the car off. You know what happened there, though. Turn the car off. Take the keys out. >> lane. Take the keys out. Take the keys out, buddy. Take the keys out, please. Hey, can Take the keys out. I need to be quiet. You need to be quiet for me. Okay? >> Okay. Okay. Take the keys out, please. Take the keys out. I need to see your driver's license. Hey, you can go over there. You need to be quiet for a minute, please? Can I see your driver's license? Now. You're taking over right now. I need to see your driver's license right now. >> Initially, we're like, is this like some dangerous felon that might be trying to attack us? This is the loop. We don't want to approach the vehicle. We kind of see the movements of the person and we move and adjust to here. It sounds like from the voice and the cadence of the voice, it sounds like it's a person who's completely hammered and may not have even known that the lights were on in the very beginning of the stop. And that's how you see this really high police IQ advanced process that the trooper utilized. Give me your driver's license. Hand it to me. Driver. Hand me your driver's license. Dude. Step out of the vehicle. And hand me your driver's license. Hand me your license. Hand me your license. So, if you look at the vehicle that pulled up the back of him, up the slick top vehicle, if a person is not paying attention, you could easily confuse that [clears throat] for just being a regular car. Hey, dude. All right, step out. You step out. You understand me? You understand me? I'm not playing this [ __ ] I'm not playing no stupid games. I said back here. I don't know who the hell you think you are. I said you step out. We're not playing no freaking stupid games. All right? All right. All right. All right? I don't know. I told you to step out and you're [ __ ] playing [ __ ] butt games. >> your camera? not >> that. You you understand me? On your camera? You shut the [ __ ] up, okay? All right. All right. I'm looking I see that you got He got the lieutenant was the one who conducted the stop, so he's got himself in a bad situation here. Is this off the record? Not yet. Stay right there, all right? All right. Stay right there. All right. He's making this sign to his mouth, which either means he's booze or that he wants him to bring a PBT or a portable breathalyzer so that he can test his breath. What y'all been doing all day? We got a bunch of calls on you guys. And then you just blow sitting at a red light, you just blow through it at 70 mph. All right. And then I tell you to step out, you want to play those stupid games, tick-tock games. All right. This is not tick-tock. Do you understand me? All right. This is not Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. No talking. Take a deep breath and blow through this. Blow blow blow Don't suck into it. Blow out. Blow blow blow blow blow Blow blow blow Don't suck. Shut up. Don't pull away from me. Do you understand me? DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? THIS IS not a game. Do you understand? ALL RIGHT. I WILL not [ __ ] you. All right. Don't suck. You don't want that vision looking up at you with that campaign cover. That brings back flashbacks to Paris Island boot camp. Shout out to the drill instructor. This guy really pissed these troopers off. Bad move. I'd like to say something about the interaction that just occurred. We think about our families and the family and lives that these people [music] put into danger and these troopers respond to the fatal wrecks when a person is driving like that. This person blew through that red light at a high rate of speed, didn't even notice a patrol vehicle was right next to him and is continuing on at that high rate of speed and thinks that it's a joke. This is so serious and people just don't realize that the trooper may have to respond to a fatal wreck where someone acting like that right after this or may have come from one. [music] It happens. Do you understand what I'M SAYING? RELAX. HEY, STOP TALKING. RELAX. HEY, HEY. HEY, YOU GOOD? DUDE, YOU NEED TO STOP TALKING. THEY'RE ALL THREE UP. Stay right there. There's your phone. Listen, you can keep talking, right? Both of you. You want me to get the telephone? Both of you. It's all right. Right there by the All right, man. This is what we're crossing at. You know they got 42 seconds. This is what Hey, 405, I'm following you. You both right? I'm probably going I asked him to get out. You got him there, right? I'm playing TikTok, ain't you? I asked him to get out of the car. Good one, Jeff. Get the [ __ ] out. Both of them get the [ __ ] Someone get the car out of here. Oh, okay. I'll send the tow truck on the baseline. Put the lights on. 30 seconds out there to get the tow truck. And uh 30 seconds. AND UH HE'S GOING TO WANT TO STOP HERE. YEAH. YEAH. HE'S GOING TO GET OUT. HOW OLD IS HE? I DON'T KNOW. I DIDN'T ASK HIM HOW OLD HE OKAY. HE'S TALKING. HE'S TALKING. SO, I WAS I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL I WAS DOING. I DIDN'T KNOW I didn't know what to do. So, I asked him to step out. And he goes He goes, "No." He takes his hand out. I'M LIKE, "DUDE, STEP OUT." NO. COME ON. WHO IS IT? HUH? YEAH. HE FOUND ME. I HOPE SO. I WAS SITTING AT A STOPLIGHT AT Baseline Road. All these cars they go around the base. 10 to 12 miles an hour. It's even a unregistered vehicle. I don't know. I ran this earlier and the guy who registered this for like you know the other day. Twice in the past 6 months. He was out of breath while he was running around. I was a eyewitness to the other two. I called it in. Yeah, we're calling on Red light camera. He said he was doing nothing good. One plane. I know he's trying to play the game. 21. Who is 22 and that reckless? You got that? Yep. Put my name on there. I do feel like I'm done. What is the point 22? So, I think he said it was a .22 from what the trooper said, which is definitely above the limit of .08 which I believe it is in Arkansas and most other places. That's an interesting point. I didn't however see them do field sobriety tests or FSTs. Can someone please in the comments say that in Arkansas if they have to also do FSTs with the PBT or if they don't do FSTs. It's interesting cuz I know that I different states they do different things. It's interesting to learn that kind of stuff. It is. Yeah, that was one of the Driving down the I thought IT WAS WRECKED. I KNOW SHE WAS HE HIT HE WAS A 10-44. YEAH, I'm going to I'm going to check on her. You want it or you want me to put it in the truck? You want it or do want me to put it in the trunk? You want it, or do you want me to put it IN THE TRUNK? YOU'RE GETTING IN MY HOOD. DANG IT. YOU'RE GETTING IN MY HOOD. DANG IT. SO, that was the lieutenant. You can tell for those who aren't familiar with what the lieutenant rank is, it's the silver bars, or sometimes they're gold bars that are on the lapel or collar of the shirt. There's some benefits to having rank, because in policing we have a saying that says, "If you catch them, you clean them." Meaning, if you make the stop, that means you do the paperwork and you book them. Once you get to the rank of sergeant and above, you can catch them, but one of your troops is going to end up doing the cleaning. Which, in most jurisdiction, that's the way that it is. So, the lieutenant got to get a good stop, found him, he got to make it, but his troops are going to do the rest of the paperwork and the booking. I'd like you to share this video with anyone who thinks it's still [music] okay to race upon the roads that way, drink and drive and act in that manner, because there are so many people who are lifelong affected by losing family members by behaving [music] in this manner. I'm so happy that these troopers are out on the road doing their thing. The lieutenant was upset that his hood was dented through a very, very interesting interaction with the suspect in front of the car. But, this video needs to be shared with people who potentially [music] do something this stupid and drive in that manner. It appears the subject was arrested for the red light violation and the DUI arrest as well.
