Any drugs of any kind? >> Negative. >> Get on the [ __ ] ground. >> Put your hands behind your back. Hey, it's too late to run, dude. >> The more I do these videos, the more I realize that Arkansas is just a state that you don't want to commit crimes. If you decide to make the stupid mistake to run drugs through this state, they're going to pull you over, they're going to investigate, and they're going to catch you. This is one of those. I look like that guy just blew past the trooper, which I think is not very wise. >> Hello, trooper on motorcycle police. I had you doing 80 cuz 80 in a 75. >> I apologize. >> Do you have your license with you? >> I do. Can I get it? >> Yeah, go ahead. >> I mean, there's nothing on me. I'm just driving to Annapolis, man. >> The what? >> I like that he did a passenger side approach. I'm not a fan of this leaning inside the car like this, and I'm going to explain and maybe kind of demonstrate a little bit as to why this positioning to me is not the most tactical positioning and not standing behind the B pillar as I always mention. If you're inside the car like this and the driver decides to go to any weapon, but let's say it's a firearm that they have concealed just under their leg, and the trooper is like this. The trooper is going to have to go from here to here to firearm up and then engage. So, if we're here, we potentially end up going through the door, hitting the door with our firearm, and I said at best it will be a draw. And most of the people that I train with, it's not going to be a draw. The officers I train with, they're not going to be in that position in the first place. But, it's hard to even get a draw with a person who trains shooting. Getting behind the B pillar, I just want the officers to be safe. >> Ma'am. >> Oh, okay. >> Thank you, officer. >> Thank thank you. >> Let's see. You coming from Texas? >> Yes, sir. How fast was I going? >> Just 80. >> I'm apologize. >> Yeah, nothing wrong. Is this your car? >> It's a rental car. >> Do you have the rental agreement with you by chance? >> Can I see it? >> I totally pulled over. >> So, you traveling for work? What are you doing? >> Man, I'm going I'm going to visit a buddy at the Naval Academy. He's the deputy commandant. >> Yeah. >> We just go with him. >> That's a long drive. You're surprising him? All the way to Annapolis? >> Yes, sir. >> Well, what if he ain't ready for you? >> He's ready for me. >> Oh, okay. Okay. You said you're surprising him, right? >> He He gave I gave him a 2-week window. >> Oh, okay. >> to land in DC. >> Oh, okay. Okay. What do you do now? >> I uh I work for the solar business. >> What is it? >> A solar company. >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> I do plumbing and solar in in Houston. >> But, you rented this in Phoenix? Is this the wrong name on it? >> Say again? >> Is this the wrong name on this? >> No, that's the right name. >> It's a Gavin Washburn. >> I'm the authorized driver on this, sir. >> Oh, okay. >> Look at the other page. >> Who's Gavin Washburn? >> He's a buddy of mine. >> He rented your car for you? >> Yeah, he did. 2 years ago, I got bad credit, so I shut my business down. I don't have credit cards. So, I got debit cards, but so you have to have a uh credit card to rent a car. >> Okay. Okay. >> So, these troopers are experts at the questions that they ask. And I'm not going to go into the details because they have a rhyme behind every single thing that they ask you. And they're experts at eliciting information from people on these stops. It's dumb to try to play games with them cuz you end up digging yourself a hole. Their ability to do what they do is masterful, and it's an enjoyment to listen to them do it. >> Do you have any weapons on you? >> Negative. >> Nothing in the vehicle? >> Nothing. >> Okay. Hop out on the quick. Well, is that seat my front seat belt, ma'am? >> Yes, sir. >> Are you going to shut your door? I want somebody to you it off. >> Well, take a look at how this guy is dressed. Looks like he just could have come from like a little golf luncheon with his buddy. But, this is interesting. No pat down, sits him down next to him in the front seat. Not a fan of that. Someone's going to sit in my car, they're going to be patted down 100% sure. And I'm likely not going to have them sit in my car. But, they do it this way for their reasoning. Pat down, in my opinion, best practice. >> You're up. >> I'm good. >> Drive been all right so far? >> Say again? >> The drive been all right so far? >> Yes, sir. >> This thing right here, this rental agreement says this this is supposed to be back on the 6th. >> Yes, sir. >> It's the 13th. >> I've had it for a couple little bit longer. >> Does the rental company know you had it for a little longer? Okay. >> Want me to get my insurance? >> No, you're good. You can go. So, Annapolis, huh? >> Yes, sir. Best in the area. >> You military? >> Uh I was at one time. >> Yeah, you look like it. And rental cars are expensive nowadays, too. >> I got a grip written on that. >> Good, good. The solar panels, only been doing that? >> Man, so years ago I was at Johnson Controls and NextEra Energy. I've been doing solar for really plumbing right now. Plumbing and solar, I'm renewable renewable energy I No, okay, okay. Kind of the whole thing, right? >> Mhm. >> If energy efficiency is all going to homes, then I'll do um insulation and and high efficiency AC systems and that kind of stuff. >> It's only going to be in Annapolis? >> About two or three days. >> Two or three days. Were you in the Navy? >> I wasn't. I was in the Marine Corps. >> Marine Corps, oh Marine Corps, okay. How long were you in the Marine Corps? >> About seven years. >> Seven years, cool. >> 98 to 05. >> You got a wife and kids or anything? >> Wife and three daughters. >> Oh my gosh, how do you do that? >> Man. These are joking I was in the Corps I flew Prowlers. >> Yeah. >> And uh And it's just amazing. They're everything to me. >> So Why are you How How long you been in this rental car? Since this date? Since the 30th? >> I got it about 3 days after Gavin got it. >> Okay. So, do you guys work together or something? >> We're looking at starting a controls business in Phoenix. >> Okay. Okay. >> Like I was talking about. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Efficiency controls for AC systems. >> Mhm. Okay. Got you. Well, give me just a second. H 24 cars 10-54. >> 21 off. >> Last name Fowler. Frank Ocean William Lincoln Edward Robert. First name Todd. Tom Ocean David David. Middle name Christian. Uh Charles Henry Robert Ida Sam Tom Ida Adam Nora. DOB 1975-05-03. 1975-05-03. What mail Texas? >> 21 off. >> Let's talk about something here. >> Trooper ran the subject and we noticed subject was not patted down and he's sitting next to him inside of his vehicle. A couple of things can happen. Information can come back correct. He's just John Q. Citizen. He goes about his business on his way. There's another thing that can happen. He gave false information. We've seen this before. And the suspect says, "Oh my goodness, he's going to find out about this warrant that I have for murder." We've seen that before. "What do I have to lose?" Why do we give the person who we're investigating so much opportunity to know the exact information that we don't necessarily want them to know and we're sitting right next to the person. This process is baffling to me and I'm always open to learn. If you are in law enforcement or not in law enforcement and you know why that would be the best practice to [music] run the person while they're sitting next to you in the car and you can get information that is potentially incriminating against the person and they have nothing to lose. Why would that be a better [music] practice? Jared, I'd love to see it. >> How long was the driver there? To uh Maryland. How long you got left? >> I got I'm thinking about 2 days. I got about 2 days. >> Get you a hotel out there or is he going to put you up? >> I'll stay with I I buddies. I got put of us in Annapolis. >> Oh, got Gotcha. >> You've been out there? >> I've never been. I've never been in a uh anywhere really up in the northeast. >> So, you're going to stay up there for a while or just driving back right after? >> I'll be there about 3 or 4 days and then I'll cruise on back. >> So, you said there's no weapons in there, right? >> Negative, sir. >> Okay. Okay. Any drugs of any kind? >> Negative. >> No. Reason I ask is it's a major drug corridor. I-40 is. >> Yeah. Okay. >> East to west. West to east. So, uh you ever been in trouble before? >> I don't know, sir. >> These questions, I mean, virtually all of these interdiction guys, and I don't know if he's on an interdiction team, but these are people who work these corridors where there are a lot of drug traffickers that go through these areas. And if they get you out of the car and have you sitting in the car and they're asking all these kind of questions, a lot of times that's where they're being led to. And when I listen to the line of questioning and how they do it, I mean, they're incredibly masterful at what they do. >> I'm getting a return on that car, though. What is it? So, I'm not getting a return on that car. >> That's not maybe California files are down or something like that. >> I don't know what the benefit of telling him that is, but maybe there's a reason. >> Yeah, that's proper. Yeah, yeah. It's a picture of me as as a driver. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Cool. 62 >> Car is really 24. >> Go ahead. >> No other people in my buses. >> Therefore >> He just got the return. It sounded like no record or something like that. But that's the time that it took for him to get the return on the guy that he ran. >> All right. Well, sir, you said there's nothing crazy in there, right? >> Negative. >> Do you have any problem with me searching the car? >> [clears throat] >> Just make sure there's nothing crazy. I'm just like looking for a large amounts of narcotics or weapons and all that stuff. >> I'll open the trunk. >> Okay. Okay. But there's nothing wild in there. Do you have any luggage? >> My backpack. >> Just your backpack? Man, you travel light. >> Heck, yeah. >> All right. Well, you said you're okay with me searching the car. >> Yeah. If you need to, you should do that. >> I just want to make sure there's nothing crazy in there. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Walk about 30 ft in front of the car and sit in the grass. If you need me, just holler for me, okay? >> Okay. >> Yeah, yeah. And I'll be I'll make it quick. I ain't going to mess anything up. >> Okay. >> He does. He does. Hey. >> Yeah. >> This is the third third party rental car. >> Let's stop it right here and look at this. The driver is not patted down. The officer obviously believes that there might be something else going on here. The backup unit has arrived and they both have their heads inside of the trunk. Why doesn't one officer watch the driver and the other one conduct the search? Much safer practice. >> He's coming. It's a rental out of Phoenix. I thought some other guy rented it for him. He said they might be going to be in the business together. Hey, that's not happening. I just wanted to see here. >> Uh why is there a tool set with This is like a trim. It's like a small trim set and there's a tin. What's the tin for? Tin's not in there, is it? >> I think that's what it was. >> No, what is this? >> Oh, he took that out, didn't he? Yeah, he's a he's up to something. He said going to Annapolis it started all good. >> Hey, 10-15, bro. >> Hey, hands on your back. Hands on your back. >> Get on the [ __ ] ground. >> On the ground. >> ground or you're going to get tased. Put your hands behind your back. Hey, it's too late to cry, dude. >> He said it's too late to cry, dude. >> Hey, it's it's like you're >> Okay. >> All right. You can't see that. You're all right. You're all right. I need you to put your hands together, okay? >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> I know you're kind of inflexible. >> I I am actually. >> A little stiff. Hey, look. Come on, roll over. >> On your side and then we'll get you up. Well, this is >> It's okay. Come on. You're all right. >> All right, I'm going to roll you over. Are you ready? >> Yes. Yes. Yes. >> I've got to fix a little panel on my thing real quick. You need the only >> No. Come in this way. What's that? >> Why didn't you go through like Woodrock? >> Uh I am. >> No, no, no. I mean like How'd you end up here? >> Where is this 40? >> Yeah. From Houston? >> No, no, no. I think we're good. >> Oh, okay, okay. That makes sense. If you're from Houston, you should be a >> Shop right there, okay. >> Say again? >> I don't know. You just do that step. There you go. >> Right there, that face, realizing he made one of the worst mistakes of his life. But I'd also like to talk about something tactical. Standing this guy here between the buddy bumpers, facing the patrol vehicle, his back to the suspect vehicle, and having one search and one trooper at the right quarter panel engaging the guy. So he doesn't know when you find what you find, because if he was standing where he was standing in front of his car looking at them, he's going to know when they find it. And then are they chasing him through this wooded area for God knows how long, and you have to deal with whatever stuff that's inside of there. There are ways that this can be handled that are safer from this search process that I see here. >> H 24 Crossville give it to me. One side flat. Oh, I didn't see. Did you pop that out? Oh my gosh. Let me get some pictures. >> So pictures and prints, so that we can see that this guy likely touched this stuff. This is good here. >> And I got a car ball. >> I'm going to check that tire, too, cuz >> Ooh, we're going to have to check all of that. >> Yep. >> This Well, the thing is, you don't need all these tools. You just >> Yeah, you think he took a lot of bunch of stuff and lost stuff out? >> And I bet you this is a 10. LET'S PULL THIS OUT. I BET YOU THIS IS THE 10 MM. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE 10 IS. UM, you can see the tool laying. >> Not here. >> Okay. See? >> Let's see the tool laying there. >> of it. >> I like that this is loose. >> Well, this side is. >> Yeah. >> It's empty. I'm going to check it. >> That was a lot. Why was it out though? Why was it loose? >> So, there are a whole bunch of tricks that people try to use that would drug mules that try to hide inside of vehicles, switches, and hidden compartments. These guys are experts at finding that stuff. They mean, they'll take the vehicle somewhere else and search the vehicle elsewhere and just remove everything and then dogs and all kinds of stuff, X-rays. So, you're going to get caught. So, if someone's talking to you and saying, "Hey, just drive this vehicle from point A to point B for me and I'll give you 5K." It's stupid because what you are risking is absolutely insane because it's your freedom and there's no price worth your freedom. These guys will stop you and find you. So, my criticism of their tactics is only a safety thing amongst officers and for you to know as well. If you'd like to learn about policing and procedures and police procedures. But, these guys are going to find you and get you. Don't do it. >> Because they probably pulled that to be able to >> Just to get around it? >> Huh? >> Just to work around it. So, you think it I might be this entire back piece, isn't it? See that? Right there. What's that sticking out right there? Why are these bosses buffed? >> To keep it from dropping the freight. >> What's uh you want to get off the road and go to just go to the jail and search it? >> Yeah. >> H24 to 11 or 33. Can we get a driver? Stay down. >> All right, 33. H24, I'm at the 41 Westbound and out to you. >> He said Annapolis. >> There's more. >> More? >> Yeah. Come here. And uh >> Okay. Okay. >> There's a crack right here. >> You want to take a picture of it? Yep. I see one right there. >> It's stuffed all up in there, bro. >> Don't want these windows rolled down. These are windows. >> It's the whole center console's blood plate. It felt like it's the whole center console, too. Like under the gear shifter. >> Yeah. Oh, that's it right there, isn't it? I bet you those have been out, too. This one. >> Yeah, 33 H24. >> Go ahead. >> I'm taking somebody up around now here in 5 minutes. I'll be there in about 5 minutes. He's going to drive it into the service plaza. >> Tampa. Yeah, there's still one on this, too. I wonder if this If you take this whole thing out. That screw on your side, is it tooled? Uh maybe not. Now, I see some silver, though. >> Uh definitely tooled. >> Let's see if I can pop this off. >> It's all weird. >> What is that? >> No, let me see this. It's a >> I will >> Yeah, his trim tool. >> Yeah. >> No, look at the one on the back side of it. >> You can clear see up here though. >> Can you? >> Yeah, you can see bundles. >> How far back? >> Not all the way, but still quite a few. >> Dude, those quarter panels taped. >> What's that back there? Oh, that's just not taped. >> So it wouldn't bounce up. What do you That big? >> That pills? >> That's M30s. >> Or fentanyl. >> That's yeah, I don't I think it's Yeah, that's all taped. That's all tablets. There's another one up there too. >> Ooh. >> [snorts] >> Yeah, there's more on this side. >> Oh [ __ ] There's another one of tablets up there. >> Dag on, man. You want to just wait? >> You got weed? >> No, we don't. Oh, I don't know how to pop this out without doing it. >> You need to take more pictures of it? >> No, I'm just going to go. >> Officer to the far left with the police on the back. I don't believe he's a state trooper. I say this with all due respect. He's got to ask this question. Is he in the shape to be in the fight of his life? Cuz any given shift, you can be in the fight of your life. So hopefully he can answer that question with a yes. That's up to him and there's no disrespect meant to him, but I call it like I see him that if there's any question that he has to answer that question. >> You okay back there, man? >> Yes, sir. >> Excellent. Excellent stop. Really, really good police work. I'm so thankful when the police take these kinds of things off of the street. There was a comment in the original post that talked about what was inside of the vehicle and it's reports to be the original recipe. I don't know for sure cuz it doesn't say recipe, but it likely is. But I'm going to read you what was likely found inside of there. 45 brown plastic bundles inside approximately 56 lb in total with blue pills stamped with M30. And M30 is like fake oxycodone similar to or is fentanyl. that the street value of something like that what I looked at was between half a million to a million dollars. But I don't look at the financial aspect of it cuz those numbers can go either way. It's the potential death that it can cause to innocent people [music] who are just trying to live their life and could potentially encounter these pills. And some people say, "Well, they're not innocent." They didn't [music] ask to die. And I feel for people who are addicted to any kind of thing because obviously they don't want to be addicted to that thing. [music] When you stop people from pushing this kind of stuff, it's helpful because we lose people every single day. So parents, check your kids' rooms. That M30 stamp, that means something. This is an epidemic and it's really, really scary and horrific. And sometimes people fall into this person who did this is stupid mode of transporting this incredibly dangerous, deadly substance. Thank you to the officers that did the stop. My criticisms are just critiques because I want to make sure that they go home at the end of the shift. If you want to question my stops, there are several episodes of me on the Cops TV show that are floating around out there. You can easily find them. Feel free to critique those. Maybe one day I'll even critique one myself. Like the video. Subscribe to the channel. Click on the videos on your screen for more content just like this.
