Thank you. Yeah. Can I go to the bathroom? Yep. It's going to be right over there. It's The door is pretty heavy. Yep. All right. All right. Ready? We can head back out now. We'll go up here. We got a nice uh room where there's a couch and stuff and we can kind of figure out what's going on. Okay. All right. Here we go. All right. So what turn what is your address? Okay. Does so is your sister actually your sister? Okay. We have a lot of people that say, "Hey, that's my sister." And that's they're not related at all. Okay. So, where were you guys? I was at home and he came and got me to take me to her house. She I live our mom still. Okay. She got her own house. Her and my other little sister. So, okay. I'm like, "Yeah, I'm going to go over there. We just take up a shot." So, I go over there. We chilling there. Where Where is her house? Do you know? He come in with us and we just chilling, drinking, smoking. And we like, "Okay, we going to go get after our bottle." But that couldn't have been when we left for something. We left to go to our little sister hotel. Okay. What hotel? It was around the area. Um we was following the um location she sent us and it was 15 minutes away. Okay. So it's like once we got off the highway like I don't know if it was you but whoever sent us like it's like as soon as we got off the highway somebody tried to flag him down and me and my sister was like just pull over. Like just pull over. Yeah. But we really don't give a damn about you. me and her going to get away for show. Like, we can walk away freely. [ __ ] Don't drag us along. And so, we saw the lights and I'm like, you see, I'm a little intoxicated. So, I'm like, okay, I'm not tripping. Okay, them lights. Pull over. And you can ask the officer that was chasing us. I had the front passenger door open. I'm hitting the face. I'm like, pull the over. Yeah. Yeah. I got a case open. My sister got She probably got cases open. Pull the car over. Yeah. Whatever you got, you can go. But after we get out, let us out and then you can go. I don't give a do whatever. Yeah. And so he stopped. He's like, "All right, get out." I get out. I jumped out first. She didn't get to get out. And I was in the middle of the street. I'm going to put a What is your phone? What kind of phone? iPhone 15. It's pink. A pink? Yeah. It sounds like everybody is going to be coming back here. We're probably going to keep you and that gentleman separate. Okay. We're not going to Please do cuz I'm at I don't like like I don't you see I told y I got a case open. You've been super helpful with us and we appreciate that. I've been trying to get community service. Okay. You see I went driving like I don't I'm trying to get my name clean. I want I'm in school. Okay. That's why I hopped out. Y'all see the rest of my life. No, I get it. I get it. Um, okay. So, your other little sister, you said she was in a motel. You just got off the freeway. Mhm. So, continue. You were hitting him and stuff to try to get him to stop. Yeah. Once I noticed the lights, I'm like, "Okay." He started to speed up. I'm like, "Okay, James, you can let us out." And he was ignoring us. So, I'm like, "Dang, let us out." Mhm. He kept ignoring me. Me, I'm not going to lie to you. I like you. I'm a violent person. Once it's time to go, it's time to go. So I start hitting him in his face. Like literally like throwing punches. Let us the out the car. Time for us to get out. Yep. Whatever you going to do, I don't care. Pull over. Let us out. He pulled over. I jumped out. Soon as I jumped out, he spit off. My sister couldn't cuz it's a two-seater. You like Where was she sitting in the car? Car in the back. Okay. If they describe the car as no four-door, it's a two-seater. Okay. So when were there seats in the back? Yeah. Okay. So, it's just a two-door car. A two door car. Okay. And she was in the back. So, she couldn't get she by time I jumped out he whoever was chasing us, you can ask him. By the time I jumped out, he sped the off. And that's why I was so dramatic at the time. I'm like, "No, you're supposed to jump out with me. Like, this is not You got to realize I'm trying to help you out, right?" Like, I've been doing everything to try to help you out. So, we do like when I kept telling you to focus, it wasn't because I was trying to be an [ __ ] okay? It's because I was trying to get that information to the officers on scene so they knew that, hey, we need to get your sister off to the side. Okay, that's why I wasn't telling you to focus just to be an [ __ ] I know. Okay, I already know. But at the moment, it was he's from the chasing him. I get I get it was my sister. I know. It was no, you know, I I get it. stressful, crazy. You've been drinking. Yeah. And I'm like, I hear you, ma'am. Please. I hear you, but no. I just at that point, they were still chasing the car. So, before they get that car stopped, we got to get that info over to them. Um, but it it's all good. She It sounds like she's okay and safe. So, um, I'm sorry, but it's okay. It's okay. Um, so this James subject, how how I know you said family friend. How long have you known him? like two years. Two years. Okay. How'd you meet? Mind you, one of my cases is about them. Okay. With my sister and them, the family where we was going. One of my cases is about them. Okay. And at first I was like, "Yeah, okay. I'm done messing with them." But then I got back with them. And I didn't know too much about James. I didn't know I really still don't. Okay. I Yeah, I got the hiccups. I don't be in nobody else business. I really don't give a damn that much. I got my own [ __ ] going on. Yep. I really don't give a [ __ ] I didn't know that he was going to take us on a high speed. That man, if when y'all find him, look him up, look at his age, it's going to be like, you don't feel this, you don't do that, you don't do that. You got two jobs. Yeah. Why would you do that? Okay. And all I can think about it was the liquor. Okay. So, he was drunk. Yeah. That's all I could think about. Like you don't have nothing going. Like you have nothing made to wear. Did he have drugs or anything in the car? No. Okay. No, that's what I'm saying. We wasn't even high. We wasn't smoking. It was just liquor. And we didn't even have a liquor bottle with us. Yeah. Yeah. So, like Okay. Is that his car? Yeah. He said it was. I asked him cuz his airbags missing. I'm drunk. I like that for me. I talk a lot when I'm drunk. Yeah. You're good. You're good. But it was airbags missing when I first got in. I'm like, "Okay, if we do crash, like how we going to survive?" Yeah. He like, "Oh, I bought it like this." I'm like, "Okay, okay." And then we went and got something. That's when we ran into the police and we seen the lights and he just kept going. Me and my sister like, "Uh, James, you know you getting pulled over." Like, he just was going. Yeah. He was like, "Uh, Jack, did he say anything to you guys?" No. Okay. Interesting. Except y'all could get out. He was like, "Jump out." He stopped two times. One time the car was still moving. I'm like, "I'm going to break a leg or I'm like, "No, I'm not going to jump out of a moving car." We on the high I think we was on the highway. I'm like, "I'm not going to jump out of moving car on the highway." And so soon as we get off the highway, he pulled over again and I jumped out first and I tried to let the seat back and soon as I let the seat back, he was like, "Okay." The officer walked up to me. I'm like, "No, you my sister." Yeah. Where is she? Well, turns out she's safe. Um, all right. So, let me try to get this straight. You were picked up by James. What time? 10. Okay. 11. 11 p.m. Okay. Yeah. And then you went right to 45th and Burai to your sister's house. What time do you think you got there? 11ish. Like cuz he picked me up at like 11:15. Okay. So, we was there for about a good 2 hours or 1 hour and then we left around like 2:00. Okay. To go to the hotel. Okay. I'm probably not getting it right, but you know, my phone is my life. So, yeah, I get it. Um, so from about midnight to 2:00 a.m.ish, you were at your sister's house and then you left to go to the hotel and that's when you ran into the police. The cop. Okay. Well, it sounds like he found a purse in the car. So, the person it he said there was a pink eye phone inside of it. So, um he's going to bring that back and we're going to kind of see where where we're at. That way I can open my phone and let y'all know more about who James is. Yeah. No, that'd be great. Uh any help is is appreciated. Yeah. Know, cuz I'm that don't put me in no mothering danger. I don't I don't My mama don't play that [ __ ] I'm selling on every mother body. Hey, I'm I'm scared of my mom, too. I'm scared of my and mom be she know I got open cases she like look you going to tell everybody that was in that mother car. Yeah. That's what I'm going to do. And I told you to pull over not once but five down there 20 times and you didn't. You played with my life and you played with my sister. It's always the mom that scares people over the cops. So no. I I get it and we appreciate your cooperation and I'm glad you're okay. Me, too. Cuz I hopped out that I had to. Yeah. Yeah. I got occasions. I was like, sh I got to go. I can't just sit in here. I got to go. If I sit, it's going to be like, "Yep, you was." Nope. And you see what y'all said? Like, yeah, she's the one that hopped out the car. Like, I hopped out. Yeah. No, I I got it. Well, uh, hungry and [ __ ] They got my phone, my vape. I don't know. Vape. I'm drunk. How much did you drink tonight? This is just one bottle. Bottle? Yeah. How big of a bottle? It was a fifth. A Cheetos. Okay. Between like three, four of us. Okay. I thought you meant yourself. I was like, "Girl, let's get you over to the hospital." Okay. I just Yeah. Obviously. So, if I do take you and your sister home, is there a sober, responsible person there? Yeah. Okay. For sure. Okay. Even at the hotel, it's a lot of suburbs out there. I might walk her back to the booking room just uh so we have them all in one location then. Okay. All right. Sounds good. Yep. Okay. So, everybody's coming back here. So, it sounds like we want to get everybody's stories kind of straight just like we just did here. me first week I don't give a [ __ ] about nobody else story but mine okay y cuz I'mma keep it above okay no you've been you've been great you heard me tell my partner that telling y'all I ain't going to lie to y'all I'll catch the street car whatever y'all want to do I'm trying to go home I'll be in jail so I ain't trying to go back okay I ain't know him like that to be yeah um so what we're going to do we'll head back to the booking room where we were to get you that shirt. Um, and we'll kind of have you hanging out there. Um, just so you don't have to interact with him. We can put you in one of our interview rooms back there. I'll close the door again. Cigarette. Possibly. We can take a peek while we're back there and and stand outside. But like I said, I truly like you. What's your name? I can't pronounce that big enough. You're good. Um, so we I don't want you crossing paths with him. Um, so I know he's on his way back now. So let's head this way. So both of them are made by Yes. You just hang out on the blue bench here for a bit until uh he comes here and then there's obviously these interview rooms in here and we'll uh Okay. We'll put you in one of those. Okay. Don't hurt me, please. No. Why would I hurt you? Cuz there's nipple pierces. Okay. Do you have anything on you guys? No. Any drug? I don't remember. Nothing. Nothing. I wish I had my vape on me. That's what I wish. Hey. Your sister wishes the same thing. Look, I have to see you. All right. You have nothing. Take my Yeah. Go ahead. I wish my vape Wait. No. Please. Like, you got to tuck it in. You got to tuck it. Girl, I'm not I'm not touching you. We're going to get you another shirt. Okay. We'll get your shirt to toss over this. Okay. I'm going to take I don't want you to hurt me. I'm going to take your cuffs off. Can I fix it? Yep. I don't want you to hurt me. You don't have shoes or anything? Yeah. Oh, okay. A band-aid. Yeah, I got Okay. Um I'll see what we can grab. Okay. Damn. Really be going to sale. Damn. Okay. Picture shirt. Can we get her another shirt from the booking room closet, please? Uh, sure. Damn, people. Oh my god. All right, we got your shirt here. Okay. So, I'm just going to hang out with you for a bit. What did you mean? I don't know. It's usually just like donated shirts and stuff like that. So, Okay, make a phone call. Um, so we're just going to get a story from you quick and then Perfect. Um, I'm tell you're good. You're good. Did you reenter the call? Could you just get her updated address and phone number? We did not grab. So, send Mullia over to Jacket and I'll finish talking with her or I'll just grab a story from her quick. The other girl? Yeah. Okay. Jacket's in there waiting with her now. So, just send Molia in there. Molly's going to come back over here anyways. if you get her the band-aids. Okay. Well, I'm going to start speaking with her and that's fine. Okay. Well, well, let him know. I probably won't bump into him cuz I'm going to go in the opposite direction. Okay. Just whatever you tell her, tell whatever you want me to do. All right. Thanks. Have a good night. Nothing. What? Gums. No, I do not. All right. Sorry to finish. Okay. So, let's start with your name. Bandit. Can you go wait with the other female uh and soft her? Yep. I I already have info and everything on her, so just hang out with her and then I'll That [ __ ] already got booked. Did he get booked yet? Hang tight. Just Yeah. Okay. Bandaid. Yeah. He needs to go to jail. Okay. Yeah. We're not going to worry about him right now. You and your sister are safe and that's what we care about, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to say I'm sorry for all this, y'all. It's not your fault. You That's what I'm saying. Listen, and I want to say cuz I would never in my life with the police like that, y'all. And it's not even funny cuz I was crying the whole time. I was on the phone with the police the whole time. Like that's what we heard. So I'm telling I'm telling I'm like y'all please come get him. I'm telling you everything. I'll touch base with you when we're done. I just want to let you know. Yep. Thank you. That is [ __ ] is crazy. Okay. You got you caught. Go ahead. So let's let's start. But obviously I got your sister's story. Um how how do we know this James guy? So that's my boyfriend cousin. Boyfriend's cousin cousin. His little not step brother but it's like his brother cousin. You know them, you know, black people, it's like his brother cousin, you know. So, not truly cousins, right? You just call each other cousins or they they they call each other cousins, right? So, friends, so it's your boyfriend's friend, right? Okay. All right. Gotcha. Okay. Um Yeah, cuz your sister was saying it was just kind of like a family friend. Yeah. Yeah, basically. Yeah. Okay. Um All right. So, I guess start with uh Yeah. Okay. where it all started. So, um, we I'm gonna write down notes. Are you good with that? Yeah. Okay. Yes. Perfect. Um, so, um, he dropped my best friend off to her boyfriend house, which is my boyfriend. Okay. Brother. And we tell him, drop him off to my sister house. I mean to my sister hotel. Okay. Okay. So, it's over on the south side. And we You know what that is? It is in my phone. It's um the um I can't I got you. Yeah. Let me show you. this. Oh, damn. I'm tripping. I'm sorry. Damn. Damn. Damn. Here. This one. Okay, you're good. Um, so just no texting or calling. You can keep your phone over there. All right. Um, so, um, as we on our way there, we we coming right up the freeway. Highway. Yep. freeway. Um, and we see the police. She's like, "James." I turn around, I see the police. I'm like, "James, the police behind you." The [ __ ] like, I felt it. I'm like, "James, pull over and let me out." I'm going to start crying. I'm like, "Okay, I'm sorry. You're safe. You're safe." I'm sorry, but this is just crazy. I'm like, "James, pull over and let me out. We slap. We slapping them, punching them like, "Bro, let me out." Like, I don't I don't I don't do I don't Oh my god. But yeah. Okay. So, my sister to jump out, but he only got a two door, so I couldn't jump out with her. Okay. So, I the door closed and he kept going. So, I'm like, "Okay." So, we like we on the freeway. That's I'm on the phone with the police like, "Please come get I'm telling them everything. We This where we at." And so, we get to I don't know where they where I jumped out at. I think it was it was I don't know where I jumped out at. So, let me just clarify this, I guess, so I don't get it wrong. You were in the back to start with. Yes. After your sister jumped out, you got to the front seat. No. No. I was still in the back seat. How How did you jump out of the car? I put the seat up cuz the seat was when she jumped out the I put the seat I was trying to jump out with her but he kept going right after she jump out. So the seat was still up. something like James. The first time I started to jump out, we was like um probably by center probably a little bit and I was and I tried to jump out but the he he stopped like fast and then kept like I I guess I jump out fast enough and he just kept going then turn and then I tried to I'm like James let me out and I started pushing him and then he like bro just get out and I got out and I'm just Yeah. And that was really the story like we just Did you see what happened after that? No, I was in the police car cuz I I surrendered. Yeah. No, 100%. I surrendered and and when we got there, he was already crashed. Okay. So, that was the story. It wasn't really nothing, but that was the story. Do you know why he would have ran? Cuz he's dumb. He's dumb. I I agree with that part. But like drugs, he I was saying he don't have no guns. Okay. This [ __ ] barely smoke weed. Yeah. And we had a we had liquor bottle, but it wasn't open. Okay. Yeah. Was it just going to be something you were drinking? It It was I guess you just planned on drinking at the hotel, huh? You were just going to drink at the hotel? Yeah, I wasn't. No, I ain't going to even lie to you. Yes, I was. And yeah, it was just I don't know. I don't know if he got any warrants or none of that. He I don't know. Yeah, cuz I don't know him personally personally. But yeah, I know he ain't got no gun though. Okay. No gun, no drugs. I don't know. I don't know if he got drugs.
