on New Year's Eve 2022 an officer from the so Prairie Police Department called 911 to report that his personal car was stolen from his house later that day the so Prairie Police Department responded to a report of a crashed an abandoned vehicle that matched the description of the officer's missing car I'm a professional Walker in town I I know it's that down down there Jesus 71 71 sock on SC and I have to go down the other side no um you can go down there and walk up the trail but it's icy that's F 911 what's the address of the emergency okay tell me exactly what happened um my vehicle gone somebody took my car like stolen like stole my car yeah okay um are you at home right now um I am but I'm on my way to work um so if I can meet the deputy at my work I'm a police officer at sou cury police depart L is it on the door oh my God there's nobody in [Applause] it 71 sock just for 43 there's nobody in the [Applause] vehicle copy direct we're going to continue on till we get a search the area damn it [Applause] well somebody's got to be injured out of this is there blood in this there's blood on the side of that door I don't see somebody's got to Beed up from this cuz this fire Che one on location be investigating we'll have there's nobody in it did it come from right up there one uh engine [Applause] it looks like it's been sitting here there's Frost all over the there's blood on this side get to the intersection here uh stage short of the intersection in front of sry of the intersection yeah somehow like they got out of this door are you sure wasn't that door open no I opened it I opened it to look let me go get my squad somehow I don't know if I can scale that or not as I'll leave it at this point you got a crime scene you know there ain't anybody in the back the car's total and man Blood on the outside the door it's got frost all over it so must have happen last night airbags are deployed in it you check check the uh that was just clim check uh hospital for injuries or local hospitals please TV down there Chief we'll have to go you can go around like Culver to that entrance and get down there Chief at this point going to tell you this that's lud's car he claims his car was stolen last night so this point we have a crime scene no no driver no nothing he crashed it my [Applause] yeah I'll be okay sounds good thanks Ryan all right you bet you bet bye can you back your car up so I can get some just do a do a walk see if you find [Applause] [Applause] anybody Blood on the door [Applause] UTV and check with I'll have to call you back SE Joel's car was stolen and it's laying down off the 60 Bridge so yeah it's totaled so I don't know I don't know what the's going on here a lot of [ __ ] A up so um yeah so yeah there's a lot of do you know what time you got home last night okay cuz he's on Ashley's all upset cuz the stays between you and I um he didn't get home till 107 no car yeah so I don't know if he crashed this fcker after he dropped you off I I don't I don't know cuz like I said I called him multiple times this morning he didn't say her phone yeah he came about 6:30 came on he said his car so and so yeah I think when he dropped you off he was probably drunk and he fell asleep and I don't see injuries on him but he should have injuries the way this car looks this car this car is total it's on the Walking path underneath the 60 Bridge it went through the guard rail so so I'll will talk to you later I I don't know what to think at this point they had to have come up F why is there blood on the driver's side then there's blood on that driver's side [Applause] doorless they where a passenger cuz the way this is creas looks like they Reef the door open yeah had they wrenched the door open here for a sec I'm not going to be a but I'm going to tell you this okay yeah did you WIP blood off the driver's side door just now yeah I went over there and I checked the door okay cuz there's blood on the driver's side door okay do not me on this oh my God just calm down I'm I'm only saying this because [ __ ] ain't adding up Ashley called me she said you got home about 107 it was not 107 I already told her that there's no way PA stop this is not me oh my God okay just we're not having this conversation dude well I just want to make sure that it's not I was with you for [ __ ] sakes last night dude calm down calm down I'm just making sure because I just don't want you to get in trouble if it was you oh my God okay I was with you last night I know that but and we weren't drunk I know Jesus Christ we are going to have a conversation after this is done because there's a lot of [ __ ] that is so and then oh my God don't get pissed it don't get pissed at me dude you got to you got to look at it how I see it though I left last night and my girlfriend no I'll get a ride home you gave my girlfriend a ride home and your car's crashed and she only Liv so many box away you got to see where I'm seeing it from first of all okay now listen to me there was blood on the side of that car and now it's wiped off so now I got to explain that away the car inside so you got to see it from my standpoint too dude okay I'm just the fact that we're having a side conversation isn't like okay well and I gave her a ride home the' three of us walking down by the river what's [Applause] up I think it's I think it's just red stuff I don't know officer ludts was charged with a misdemeanor for obstructing an officer he was required to go to a 18-month deferred prosecution program both officers that were on scene Luda witz and Duman resigned shortly after this incident
