On May 24th, 2024, officers from the Lodai Police Department were dispatched to the report of a male damaging a vehicle and attempting to attack a female. An officer recognized the address from the night before when a male identified as Alexander was removed from the residence after a dispute with his girlfriend. While responding to the call, officers observed Alexander's vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. >> Alex, step out of the car. Why not? Okay. Well, you don't have a choice. Alexander was charged with battery or threat to a law enforcement officer, criminal damage to property, over $2,500, and multiple other charges. He was found guilty for second offense operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, and the rest of his charges were dismissed. Alexander was sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to pay $1,184 in fines. >> H Why we come here?
