You want to do the test? I'm a disabled [ __ ] veteran. I can't cross my legs cuz my hips are BLOWN OUT. I HAD TO FIX DEPLOYMENT. TWO AND A HALF YEARS of Afghanist. >> There's a very old Shakespeare saying, "Discretion is the better part of valor." And in policing, if you encounter a 6'5, 280 lb angry martial artist who's not listening to much of what you have to say, discretion might be one of the things you have inside your tool belt. Because if you decide to rush in too quickly, the tables can turn and even the tools that you have on your belt may be ineffective. This is one of those. >> You all right? >> Oh, we meet again. >> Yeah. >> I'm doing something good. >> You okay? >> You heard it all. >> Joel. Hey, >> my house is right here. I pulled out my kids wanted some meatball sandwiches. I'm like, >> did you see what happened, sir? >> Did you? >> No. Did you see what happened? No, no. I just came up upon him. >> You just can down here. >> So, I was going to call his wife. You don't even have his phone. >> You heard her or anything or are you all right? >> No. >> All right. I'll see you. You're good. Thank you. >> Just so you know, I'm recording my body cam. All right. >> Of course. >> So, my real obvious rear wheel drive >> kind of stuck, you know, >> but to be honest, >> what h what happened? Which >> I came out and turned right. This Porsche, it was a Porsche and a Chevy that kept pushing. And I'm like, plenty of room, right? >> Yeah. >> No room whatsoever. They literally accelerate. I'm like, >> so you you try to come out here and make a right or a left? >> Left. No, left. >> Left. >> Yeah, left. >> And a Porsche came out. >> I'm going to Wawa. >> You're going to Wawa. >> Heading home. >> Okay, >> that's it. >> I get sent this video very, very frequently and I finally decided to do it. I just have such a backlog of videos. There's some really interesting stuff to learn from this video, especially from a tactical perspective. Immediately I'm getting some indicators of might be a DUI. We got the speech patterns, the eyes, the unsteadiness as we can see and even though he's standing in that burm there, but under these circumstances where there's a vehicle crash, you want to make sure that those are not the effects of hitting your head. The other thing you want to take into consideration from an officer perspective when a person and it's happened and I've seen it where they could be potentially going through a diabetic episode. So those are the things that you have to take into consideration. It can't just only be the DUI investigation. You definitely have to take into consideration the medical elements that might be in play. >> The kids wanted me both sandwiches. All right. [ __ ] me hips. >> Fair enough. >> So I'm like, uh, I'm going to take the V, get some meatball sandwiches. I'm like, are you kidding me? And we got a guy, you know, I've been down all day, all this morning, preparing a guy for a national championship fight for MMA for the entire country for God's sake. >> Yeah. And they're like, "Well, you're not coaching tonight, so get go get us some meatball sandwiches." I'm like, "Got it." >> Well, you you're coaching a fight or you got a fight coming up. >> Both. >> Both. >> Well, I'm not fighting, dude. I'm I got >> bad back. Don't get me started. >> Okay. All right. Where's your Joel? I'm Tim. Nice to meet you. >> How you feeling? You have anything to drink or anything like that? >> No, I had uh I had a beer at like what, like 12:00? be at 12:00. >> But then I I had to do I had to do three workouts. >> Three workouts. >> Yep. Three workouts with three different fighters. If I sound lightheaded cuz this mean I need sugar. >> You said you feel what >> dude? I'm lightheaded. I ate anything. I need sugar. >> You need sugar. >> So when I came out, I'm like, "Okay guys, you want this? Got you." >> Young aspiring officers, when it comes to asking times, have them tell you what time they think it is. If it's booze, a lot of times it throws off the internal clock and they'll tell you a time that's completely off. Let them tell you what time they think it is. >> They're like, "Hit me up with some wa get us some meatball." They wanted Everybody in the whole house is like meatball sandwiches. >> I got you. >> My guys >> here. Joel, why don't you just come up here? I just want to get you out of the ditch. You all right? >> Yeah, man. >> Here. Just Just you. How far away are you from home? >> You're in. Listen, just lean against the front of the car for a minute. All right. I'm just going to check this car out. What we're gonna do is we're gonna get a tow truck to have him come down. All right. >> Be honest. Give me some olding booze in there from a long time ago because I took many fighters. >> Yeah. >> Many fighters down to events. What do they do to calm the nerves? >> Okay. You haven't had anything though? >> No. No. >> Well, I told you I hugged the pre I had coffee and I I had like two shooters earlier. >> Two shers. What time were they at? >> Time was right now. It's 6:00 right now. >> Three. >> 3:00. >> Yeah. Two. >> Is that a lot for you? A little for you? >> I weigh 265 lbs. >> I think a big guy. >> All right. Hank tight here. All right. >> What year is that bad boy? >> This is a 2016. I'm extremely depressed to see her down here. >> Okay. Where's your church card at, Joel? >> Look up in the dashboard. >> Dashboard. >> Yes, sir. >> Glove box or >> Yep. Dashboard. >> All right. >> You got it? Yeah. Am I right to get that? >> So, it's a Z51. She's fine. She's good. >> Yeah. I was going to say I think there's a little damage up front, but that's probably it. >> Look, you're freaking me out. >> No, no, no, no, no. >> No. Joel, listen. I'm just I'm just assuming look. I see the tree. That's why I'm guessing. I know, but can you show me guys too many people? >> The guy came up behind me. I let you know. >> Show me, please. >> No, I couldn't see. Joel Joel. Joel. Joel. Joel. >> Tim. Can you please show me where you think there's damage? >> All right. If you stay here, I'll go down. Right. Stay here. >> No. Door together. >> No. No. No. Look. I don't >> Sorry, Mr. Dam. I spent 20 years. No, >> stop playing objects. >> Listen, your the front bumper's popped out, but that's it. >> No, I'm coming back up. I don't want to get ticks. >> All right. >> Are you serious? >> I mean, dude, that's not bad. No, no, no, no. Joel, don't do that. Don't do that. Just leave it cuz we're going to yank it off anyway. >> Brother, please. >> Joel, I got a tow truck coming. I know that with mying car. I respect you, but please shut the up. >> All right, let's go back up here. >> So, some very obvious observations. There's a very large man who claims to be a coach in mixed martial arts. No reason to doubt him. It's very clear that he seems in the shape to be in the fight of his life, but only he can answer that question. But he looks like it. Some things that I'm seeing is that he's now starting to kind of change his from his initial attitude where he's not listening to what the officer is saying or the directions the officer is giving and he just told him to shut the f up. And so this is where I'm seeing a change. Now at this point the officer I can see he's trying to make sure he keeps this guy calm and deescalated, but it's definitely taken a turn. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. >> She has to be turned off. She can't just sit here and ride. >> All right, turn it off. >> What is it? Push to start. >> Yep. >> All right. Perfect. Keys are in it. >> Yep. >> All right. All right. Let's go back to the car. This tow truck's coming. >> Isn't this stupid? You say, "Hey, here's some meatball sandwiches." >> Dave, listen. Your kids want meatball sandwiches? >> This literally is a meatball sandwich result. >> Do you like the meatball sandwiches though? >> They're good. >> Yeah, they're pretty good. But >> have you been to the new shop on Route 70? Ryan and How's >> Ricky Bobby? Don't put the seat on me. >> You hear mention this all the time, the positioning. You see the officer is on the passenger side, right front quarter panel, and we see that this subject is in the front of the vehicle. It would be nicer to have him a little bit more between the buddy bumpers because there can't be that immediate attack on the officer. But this is more of the ideal positioning. Except I definitely would want this guy over just a bit and maybe I would step back a step or [music] two. >> That was good. >> What I'm saying is, dude, this is beyond obnoxious. I don't need this noise in my life. I've had enough lawyers in my life. If you know the guys running, especially the cops in Medford have learned to love and hate me. No one hates you. Not at all. >> I almost wonder if he was making a left like coming from his house to go to Walmart. says it started to slide because of the rear power because of just the barely dampness and heing over corrected and just hooked it right in. >> So, something else I just want to mention really quickly is that there are a lot of jump cuts in this video. So, we're missing a couple of different elements as far as where this conversation is going and I know a lot of these are edited for entertainment purposes, but to get the continuity is how you can really kind of understand and explain how a lot of these things work. It's not a knock. I'm just reviewing the video and I just want to make sure that you understand. A lot of people email me and say stuff like, "Well, the officer did this and they did that and there was a segment in the video that was cut for 10 or 15 seconds." We don't know what that person did or what the officer did. So, just take that in consideration. You can watch the clock on the body cams and you can see which body cam switch. It's really important element when reviewing these videos. >> Got to get on this ball sandwiches. The liars, >> but I do. >> So, you had they had me like hook and sinker, right? >> Yeah. >> So, here's the deal. Okay. Like I said, I'm not going to lie to you. I'm not going to sugar at all. All right. There is a couple of things that we do have to follow through with today, though. Okay. So, you did say you drive. All right. So, nobody's going to jail today. Like you said, you're not going to jail. You won't want to go to jail. You're not going to jail. Okay. Jail is Burlex County, Camd County, way to >> If you guys want to take me to jail, you have to kill me today. Just so you know, you'll have to kill me today. We are not going in jail. You have to kill me though. >> I God's honest truth. You have to murder me. You understand? >> Some of them don't. >> Let's stop that right now. >> I just wanted to take it because you brought it up. >> I've been on the greatest behavior ever. >> Oh, you have? Absolutely. >> This is not my [ __ ] fault. >> I'm trying to get home use my kids. >> Okay. Let's do the walking turn test first, though. Okay. So, here's the deal. Okay. Is >> here. Actually, we'll do it right here because I don't want nobody to get run over. Okay. >> Starting position. I just want you to get with your right foot on your left foot with your right heel touching your left hand side. >> All right. Stay in this position until I as I explain the instructions. Okay. >> Now we're getting frisky. Boost your volume, [ __ ] We're getting stupid fast. We're getting stupid fast. >> No, this is a stepbystep. But you know it's not going to work. >> Listen, if you do it, >> let me go. >> If you refuse to do the tests, that's okay. Okay? We have to give you that opportunity on scene. If not, we are going to have to ride back to the police station. And no, we're not your program, [ __ ] >> I was a part of the program. >> Okay, but that program doesn't exist in that [ __ ] we don't have the breathalyzer machine here. I'm sorry. >> All right. Do you want to do the test? Don't stop. >> Joel. Joel. Joel. Stop. I'll you up. Joel. Joel. I don't want to fight. I don't want. >> You're not going to fight me. You stupid. You stupid Joel. >> My god. >> You can't fight Joel. >> Watch out. >> This is my world. Joel. That swing right there definitely could be looked at as an assault and motorization. It meets the elements and going at the officer like that, something to take into consideration because now you got to start to figure out what crimes we're dealing with. And this traffic that's going by at some point I'm hoping that the traffic gets stopped because if they get into a tussle in the middle of the street, we have vehicles that are going by at a decent speed. >> Calm the down. >> I can't cross my legs cuz my hips are blown out. >> So, let's do it without the >> piece of [ __ ] >> Asking me do [ __ ] I'm a disabled [ __ ] veteran of six [ __ ] combat tours and you're saying you you can't cause this. >> You piece of [ __ ] >> We're not going to do that. >> Get the camera going, [ __ ] >> They're going. >> Get the camera going, [ __ ] >> They're going. >> We're not going to do that. >> No, they're not going. Your chest will turn off immediately. >> They're not doing the test. >> Miracle. Or your chest camera's turned off. You piece of [ __ ] >> We have another test that you don't have to do. The walking. >> Okay. You want a wall sandwich bag mother >> as your stakes deployments >> two and a half years to Afghanistan Iraq wall you [ __ ] >> and if you will Joel we're not going to do the walking okay >> my hips need to both be replaced you understand you stupid [ __ ] >> we have a balancing test >> my white belt willing rap youring candy ass and I said so what play with me I'll give you a $10,000 challenge. 5 seconds. >> If you don't spank bang my hip, I'll [ __ ] give you five grand. Joel, you candy ass. >> It's cool that you have a holster. Do you know what? You really have a holster for me. >> You understand that, right? >> I do. >> Do you understand that? Can I tell you something? Shut the up. Shut the You're not in control, dumbass. Can I tell you something? You're too [ __ ] young. Shut the [ __ ] up. You're mying student, mother. Hey, here's a lesson whether I [ __ ] it or not. >> When a person says that they have a medical challenge and they can't do the walk and turn, the one-legged stand, or any of those tests that require the ability to walk, the HGN or horizontal gaze dynamics, where they just have to follow the stimulus with their eyes, is an alternative option. But when a person's this amped up and angry, who wants to stand in front of him at that distance and try to get him to do HGN? So, this, in my opinion, would be a refusal. >> Any [ __ ] doesn't know combat and self-defense, guess what? You're nothing but a holster for them. You're nothing but a holster for them. >> So, what are you gonna do? >> Yes. >> Distance, right? I can close what? >> 5 m and how long? >> You don't evening know how long. >> How long? >> [ __ ] >> You're aing idiot. >> How long? 5 m. >> 5 m. >> 5 m. >> Less than a second. >> Thank you. >> On point. God bless you. >> You're going to use your pistol out. No, you're not. It's my pistol. None of that's happening. >> Would I ever do that? Not in a million years. But it's mine. It's mine. But guess what? I am a six-time [ __ ] marksman who's been through sniper school and everything else. Do you really want to play that game? Are you thating stupid? >> No. >> Are you thating stupid off? >> I love me some confrontation. I've been in the cage. I've been in the ring. I've been in a combat. Sixing combat tours. [ __ ] you. You [ __ ] Yandall [ __ ] You're amplifying this [ __ ] Your job is to deescalate. >> I'm sitting here talking. >> Your job is to deescalate. Joel, I'm talking like you talked one day when you were standing up. >> You're mad at me cuz my hips don't work. >> I'm not mad. I told you you don't have to do that test cuz you can't do it because of your hips. That test is >> My body is broken, brother. >> I know. >> I can't get out of bed in the morning. Listen. And we want to get you back to bed with an [ __ ] I'm so sick of you making me serve your self your [ __ ] donut [ __ ] How many you been military? Anybody? >> Yeah. Military you. That's why the militarying hates you guys. And I'm not saying I hate you, but guess what? They're going to [ __ ] destroy you when this new world older shit's coming. And you know it's coming. Don't with me. You do. You look at the news. You have any mindset? You have an IQ above room temperature. your pawns and the military will youring souls cuz you can't protect yourself from aing habitat kit. For [ __ ] sake, guys, are we on the same team or not? I remember when I was growing up, guess what? He was an old military motherucker. He said, "Hey, come over. Let's work this out. Let's figure this [ __ ] out." And if I'm [ __ ] up, guess what? [ __ ] up. There wasn't six guys around me. Six vaginas that my white belts would kill in two seconds. You guys can't eat away at a [ __ ] cheeseburger stand. Get the out of here. You guys are amplifying this [ __ ] Your job is to what? Deescalate. Officer response. Officer what? Perception. Officer what? Deescal [ __ ] ass. YOU'RE NOT DOING YOURING JOB, [ __ ] I had this for 20 [ __ ] years. You cannot disalate. Deescalate [ __ ] Cuz you suck at your [ __ ] job. DEESCALATE, YOU [ __ ] DEESCALATE. You're amplifying everything. Shut the up, body [ __ ] Okay, >> listen. We're just sitting here talking. Okay, >> you're talking to someone who has PTSD on four combat doors that we're going to special off the greens who doubled their RECORD ON ANY WEB caches and save little tin being cut in half and you're challenging me. GET THYING CAR OUT OF THE DITCH. GET the [ __ ] out of here. It's a tow truck and me. You have nothing to do with this. It's not a law enforcement issue. Get the [ __ ] out of here. And you know better. It's not a law enforcement issue. Get the out of here. This is not a law enforcement issue. And you know by law it's not. >> No it's not. Tell me. Tell me. Cuz I have it all memorized. Tell me. >> Tell me. No. Wrong. Tell me which paragraph. >> You have the clue but I have it memorized. >> Why? What is it? >> Cuz I'm smart >> and I I don't doubt that. >> You don't have a clue. Where is it where you say you need them to do this or they can't do that before you challenge me when I live a half mile. So, you've heard me mention this many times that having medical standby when there is a high propensity that there is going to be some degree of use of force and it looks like there's going to be a use of force situation and having medical standby in the circumstance is very wise because what I'm seeing here the officers might need medical. I mean, and I don't like to say that, but it just seems like this guy is just continuing to amp up and it looks like it's going to lead to a use of force. I like that they're not trying to rush in really quickly without a plan. I'd like to see a plan cuz at some point the situation has to be resolved. You're in the middle of the street. You're trying to escalate everything. >> It's gonna be nasty. >> I'm gonna get to you further than they can get to me. >> So you you in your face. I'm going to get to you way faster than anybody. I'm not >> want to bet off. I call theing normal. In the real world, what do we do? Oh, I call what? Hey, a tow truck. Nobody broke any laws, [ __ ] Nobody broke any laws. So all of you get the out of here cuz I know mying laws and I will sue the out of all of you. >> Get the out of here. I broke no laws. None of them. Get the [ __ ] out of here. >> Wrong. Wrong. And I will sue the out of your entire police station. >> And that's fine. You have that right. Okay. >> Yeah. And you're going to lose. >> You know better, brother. You know better. >> Don't you sweet talk me, princess. >> I'm not sweet talking. >> I'm g [ __ ] Shut up. Shut up. Wait till somebody busy like storm. You're in med for sake. Well, it's going to go real fast. It's going to be nasty and a lot of gunshots. You want to play that? >> Yeah. And me. I'll tell you what, son. Of all people, you're coming with me. You can't you cannot race that is not going to stop you. I can get that out of you as you shot several times. Even in my head I 15 seconds 15 seconds. Okay. Get the out of here gentlemen. I have broken no laws. You are in your legal area. I have broken no laws. I have slipped off the road. I have a tow truck. Get the out of here. Those are New Jersey state [ __ ] laws. Get the [ __ ] out of here. Yeah, y'all are dumbfound. Get the [ __ ] out of here. You're wrong. You're wrong. This 20 [ __ ] years. You're wrong. I live a half mile from here. He's getting meatball sandwiches. I got to run off the [ __ ] road. And I'm the [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm theing [ __ ] Really? out of here. Get the out of here. Get the out here. I use a tow truck. I fixed my car. Nothing happened. Go away. Get the out of here. All of you. >> Okay. So, I want to break down what we see in here on the scene. We got a female with a really cool tag bun and she has corporal stripes on. So, I know a lot of people don't know rank structures, but the first officer, the shorter officer is the sergeant. He has a sergeant stripes. From what I'm seeing here, the rest of are line officers. The rank structure would be the sergeant, the female corporal, and then the line officers. And under these circumstances, you really want to see someone take control of this situation. Even if they're not the person to talk, if I'm the sergeant and I feel like someone else might have a better dialogue, say, "Hey, you talk to him." And then figure out what the other people in the element are likely going to do. This circling situation here can be a huge challenge. Again, I'm not on the scene, but when I watch these kinds of things, I'd like to review them to figure out how we can tactically best deal with the situation. And the sergeant not rushing or telling the officers to rush in, I'm not going to make a decision on whether they should do that or not. discretion. The better part of valor. >> No. Get the out here. Calls road. Why? Because they're going to roll off the road. Shut the up. You're a [ __ ] Anybody worse than you can candy ass [ __ ] You're a gym. I give you 20 I'll give you 20 grand if you last 30 seconds, [ __ ] No submissions even. You're just going to be a second down there. You want >> you don't like it? Do it here. You're out of your [ __ ] [ __ ] You're out of your mind. You don't know [ __ ] You think cuz how long you been doing this? Tell me how long you been doing this. >> What's that? >> How long you been doing this? >> 19 years. >> That's cute. I've been doing this since 20 I'm sorry. 1997. You geric [ __ ] I've been your supering supervisor. You geric. Do you want to know the real law or you want to listen to big face? You cannoting do [ __ ] You can't do [ __ ] I'm sorry you. >> So, let's go through our options. We can continue to talk to him and hopefully he peters out and we don't have to utilize force, but what are the force options that we have under the circumstances with this very large man who claims that he trains mixed martial arts? I have no reason to doubt him. I just don't know him. We can go hands-on. We have at least five or six officers. Depending on the degree of proficiency of the officers going hands-on may be a challenge. I don't know how much they train. One other thing I believe they have impact tools which is basically pain compliance but on a person this size to utilize an impact tool I mean I don't know how much or how effective it would be. Another option is pepper spray. Pepper spray the person is that going to be effective if it's deployed properly. It can be can't see but it can still swing. Another option is going to be the taser. That can be incredibly effective especially if you have the spread of the probes and you have the neuromuscular incapacitation where it locks up the body. If it's done properly it can definitely work. And what it looks like they're doing from what I'm seeing here is they're just trying to talk this out and let the guy peter out and hopefully their conversation can work. And you're going to have people in the comment section are going to say, "No, we should have done this. They should have done that." But unless you're there, you really don't know. But there are definitely two distinct schools. One school that's going to say, "Let's talk it talk it." There's another school says, "No, ask. Tell make. Don't do it. We're taking you into custody. >> Get the out of here. I love you. Get the out of here. It's a simple tow truck and you there was no accident. There was nothing. There was no incident. GET THE OUT OF HERE NOW. THERE'S NO ALCOHOL INCIDENT. THERE'S NOTHING. Get the out of here. You have nothing. You have nothing whatsoever. You stupid tearing. Raise your IQ blow up the rooming temperature. You're bullying the [ __ ] out of me. >> Sir, that's you. Shut the [ __ ] up. Can I speak to you, sir? >> No. You bully me, [ __ ] You're wrong. Get out of here. Get out of here. Get out of here. I'll bring a whole I have 500,000 fans. I'll get on my phone and call on a whole crew. I have a half a million fans around the world. Let's crank it up. You want to crank it up? >> No. That's it. >> Just crank it up. >> Get out of here, mother. >> Joel, get back here. >> That's it. >> Joel, stop me from my phone. Joel, it's my phone, you douch. >> It's a phone, you douch. >> I know it is. I know it is. Come here. >> You said that's it. I'm sorry. Who said that's it? Don't I don't want you living out here [ __ ] >> Okay. Him walking up on you like that is something that we don't want to happen. Letting a person get within striking distance. I've seen countless videos of people getting striking distance and striking the officer. At a minimum, you want to be arms length away. At a minimum, you want to be arms length away, especially when a person is showing this degree of aggression. Letting them get that close. Not what you want to do. Let's play. >> I'm your [ __ ] hustle bear. You stupid. >> No one here wants to fight you. >> But I do. >> Why? No one wants to fight. >> But you found the right mother. >> I know [ __ ] >> I know. >> And none of you caning fight. I >> right. You've been through this before. >> Your [ __ ] day is today. And you're like, "Oh, I've been in that this [ __ ] I just [ __ ] It's Thursday to me. You stupid. [ __ ] off. I'm asking for peace and you want violence. >> We don't want >> out of here. >> We don't want violence. >> Nobody's broken a law. Get the [ __ ] out of here. >> Nobody's broken. What law did I break? >> So you said you were drinking. >> What law did I break? >> You said you were drinking when you >> I said I had two beers when I left my house. >> Right. >> And you can't you can't drive it. You can see. >> Actually, look up the law. Two beers is within Louisville [ __ ] what? Everybody knows this. Joel Academy [ __ ] Bas Academy. Shut the up, >> sir. >> Shut the [ __ ] I'm gonna [ __ ] >> Iing feel go post your stupid assy motherucker. >> Listen, >> two drinks is what? >> Two drinks is two drinks. It affects you differently than it affects me. >> [ __ ] What's the legal limit? 08.08. >> My gas is all split. What's your name? >> Sergeant Walt, badge 2578. >> All right, dumbass. So, you're saying I can't have two beers and drive anything motor vehicle. >> Like I said before, >> 260 lb. >> Like I said before, you said you were drinking before you drove. You ran off the roadway. >> Two beers, >> right? Okay. >> I told you I cut off. >> Two beers, one beer, two beers. cut off to provide safety for others. >> Okay. But we got dispatched here and we came in contact with you. At which point I do smell an odor of alcohol on you. >> The solution is what? >> The solution is to give you the breathalyzer. But that's at the police station. >> We can't bring it here. >> I'll let you get the out of my dump truck. You're the [ __ ] >> No. >> Well then [ __ ] you. We're going to fight. We're going to fight. I'm telling you all right now. >> Joel, >> you be ready to get [ __ ] up. >> We don't want to fight your arms. Don't look at me. >> I will twist your arms so far up your ass. I can't. I said I'm going to break your [ __ ] whole body first. >> Joel. Joel. >> You have no [ __ ] little [ __ ] >> Okay. We are not going to do this. >> You have no idea. She has no idea who I do. I am, does she? >> Yes. Everybody knows who you are. >> You You have no clue. Keep closer. Keep going. >> Don't stop. Stop it, Joel. >> You're stupid. >> Stop it, Joel. >> Stop it. >> Your boys are doing it, not me. >> Joel, you need to relax. >> Get the out of here. >> This is not what you want to do in the middle of Tucker Road in the town you live in. >> You want to bet? >> It's not. This is where you live. >> This isn't what you want to do. This is where you live. >> DUMB ASS. I TRIED ALL THE [ __ ] YOU'RE DOING. I built the program. >> Yo, get back. Get back. Get back. >> Get back. Get back. >> Nobody gives a taser. You can't ass me again. >> Get back. >> Hit me. >> Get back. >> Joel, stop. >> It's called pain tolerance. >> Get back. >> Joel, >> stop what you're doing. >> Get back. >> Did I stop? >> Joel, get back. >> Reset your brain right now. >> Joel, get back. >> You can tase me all day. >> Joel, we don't want to tase you. >> I want to talk about the taser and why I believe it was ineffective under the circumstances. And I've explained this many, many times. I went to taser instructor school. The taser is a very effective tool. I'm a big fan of it when it's utilized and it's effective. NMI. I've mentioned this many times. Neuromuscular incapacitation is when the taser is most effective. And that's when the probes spread out at a distance that lock up all of those muscles and then the person is incapacitated to where they can't move and they can't attack. Here are reasons why you won't get NMI, especially with this taser. If you're too close and then you get two probes right here, then it's localized pain right in that location. Then everything else can move. If a person has heavy clothing and the probes don't go all the way in, if you don't get NMI and you only have localized pain compliance, you can see a person try to pull out the probes. It still hurts. And some people are still going to comply once they feel that pain cuz it hurts. It's happened to me and it's not a fun pleasant experience at all. But it appears that that's what occurred in this situation. >> Get down the ground. >> I love pain. >> Get down on the ground. Put your hands behind your back. >> Negative. >> Joel, you want us to get hurt for our families? We don't want to hurt you. Put your hands. >> You need to reset and reassert the situation. I actually take two steps back. >> If you can take two steps back, I'll take two steps back. This [ __ ] don't [ __ ] hurt. >> You know where the [ __ ] I grew up, [ __ ] >> Get down on the ground. >> No. >> Get down on the ground. >> I broke no laws. >> Joel, we have to do this today. Okay. >> You're resisting. You went after an officer. Okay. >> We have to deal with this. >> We have to deal with this. Joel, end this. >> Stop. No, you need to end this. >> I am going to end this by a matter of running an errand for my wife. >> We take a ride to the police station. >> You guys have taken a situation from me running errand for my wife >> to maximum escalation. What's your purpose as a cops? >> You escalate. No, >> Joe. We want to go home to our families just like you want to go home to your wife. >> But you put me in jail for the night. >> You're not going to jail. >> [ __ ] >> A DUI is a [snorts] New Jersey Title 39. >> It's not a [ __ ] DUI. >> Well, you can debate that. That's not for debate right now, buddy. I'm not I don't want to argue with you. I promise you. >> Be you. >> I'm the one that came to your house when your mom was there and I helped you with that. Okay. I was very respectful. I I'm trying to be respectful and get us to a peaceful solution. Personally, >> I don't want to get >> Listen, I don't want to get hurt. >> I get run off theing road. I'm the [ __ ] >> You're not an [ __ ] I don't want anyone to get hurt. I don't want you to get hurt. I don't want any of us to get hurt. Joel, >> my own life has been abused from home to home. You can tase me all day. I love it. >> Do you think we want to do this? >> Care. Look me up on Google. I know you're legit, dude. Fiveing times I have broke all their arms and their faces. One of two of them had a facial retransplants. >> But Joel, >> let's not do that. We don't want to, are we? >> Is this not our home? >> It is. >> This is where we work every day. We like to keep it safe for everyone. >> Stop harassing me. >> What if I gave you a handshake personally that you will not go to jail tonight? >> I don't [ __ ] care about your handshake. First name. >> Do you believe me? >> No. >> Have you ever? >> No. >> Did I mistreat you and your mom when I dealt with that situation? >> No. But you came in very abruptly and you said, "What is Joel here? I don't know what to do." >> No, that's not what we asked, Joel. >> Yes, you did. >> I'm not going to make fun of you. And I'd expect the same respect out of you. >> Come here and talk to my mother and ask you questions. >> Well, do you know who sent us that day? >> My sister. >> No. Pennsylvania State uh like elderly >> because my sister called me, you [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Are you that stupid? >> I'm not stupid, Joel. I'm not calling you. >> Just prove that you moronic jackass in a [ __ ] glow-in-the-dark vest. >> You're a [ __ ] Go glow-in-the-dark somewhere else. Jack Hole. >> I heard the officer say he's not going to jail. I'm confused as to how on all the things that I witnessed that seem to be elements to a few different crimes that how he's not going to jail. They're mentioning that this is a New Jersey situation. Officers, I know that we have a lot ton of officers who watch us. In your jurisdiction, would this person end up going to jail if they committed these acts and then the use of force of the taser? I'm also very very surprised. So, I'm not quite sure why that he's saying he's not going to jail. >> Will we try to deescalate? You want to accuse us and make fun of us? >> No, I'm giving you facts. Okay. What's your first name? >> John. >> Yeah, [ __ ] you. John, thank you for giving me a name. But you too. Want to play some more? Tase me again. >> Don't care. Ladies and gentlemen, >> we do. >> Youing pedophile [ __ ] candy ass [ __ ] civilian [ __ ] Taz me. You're going to have to kill me. But guess what? One of you ain't going home tonight. Promise you. You want to play that game? >> 103. When I get released, you need >> I swear to God, one of you ain't going home tonight. Hit me. Give me a princess. >> Princess. >> No, I want >> I don't even know how, you dumb motherucker. >> I want you to get down on the ground so we can go. >> I have broken no laws. Why can't we reach a resolution without this [ __ ] You're clogging up traffic on one of the main roads. There's no reason we can't talk. There's no reason we can't reach a resolution. But you want a confrontation. You want to escalate. >> I'm not escalating. >> But you are. YOU [ __ ] ARE, YOU DUMB. The more you keep going and the more you want to apprehend, the more you want to do, that's escalation. You dumb [ __ ] I understand that a kid's bike getting stolen in Medford is the biggest deal in your entire [ __ ] life. You [ __ ] punk. But that's the facts. You're [ __ ] useless. You don't protect and deserve [ __ ] except for what? You protect and serve yourself a McDonald's shake your mouth. >> This is why the military hates you. You're literally developing a hate between you and the military and they're going to [ __ ] destroy you >> cuz you can't do [ __ ] Most of you are still out of here. See if you can't run 100 meters. >> They'll rake you in half and they don't [ __ ] like your ass cuz you're [ __ ] and [ __ ] who used to come from the military but now what? You changed the ways, changed sides. We were a team. You used to be a team. You can tase me all [ __ ] day. I don't give a [ __ ] You're not going to hurt me. >> I don't care. >> I don't give a [ __ ] about pain. I don't care. You have no clue. None of you have to. You don't even know what the submission is. You gay [ __ ] You don't know what the pain is. Taze me all day. You don't know what pain is. That was the weakest [ __ ] I've ever felt in my life, by the way. It was Who the tased me? You don't have to admit it because it was [ __ ] horrible. We used to sit in our office and tase each other for fun. It was a joke. It's a [ __ ] joke. And guess what you're supposed to do when you're tasing somebody, by the way, geniuses? Act upon it. Maybe move your [ __ ] fat asses in a pile of [ __ ] what? Handcuffs? Are you too scared of electricity? It's gone, you [ __ ] morons. Four to 5 seconds. Do you know anything? >> There is some truth to what he's saying. He's not 100% correct, but there is some truth. He says four to 5 seconds. Back in the day when you go to taser school, it was called the ride for five cuz you would ride that for 5 seconds old school. And it was very, very painful. And you can handcuff a subject under power and not feel the effects. And again, the newest taser model that's out, it can do a whole bunch of different things. So some of what he's saying is true, but a lot of it is not true at all. >> How many times you been in war? >> How many times you see little kids chopped up with their heads stacked on top of their bodies? >> None. >> None. Okay. So you're a badass. What the What is your purpose? What do you do? Protect and serve what? Protect and serve my car stuck in a ditch. You're a [ __ ] douche. Thank you, janitor. I'm not your candy ass [ __ ] >> And did anybody say that today? >> Listen, we need to deescalate to stop escalating, >> right? >> But you failed to do that every single point, every single angle of the entire situation that you arrived. Therefore, you failed as a policeing officer. And I'm assuming you're the superintendent or some type of what? Supervisor. >> I'm the supervisor. Why you [ __ ] failed miserably. You should be fired. You have failed miserably at every [ __ ] point of youring job. You disgusting pig. You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] But you won't drop that, will you? >> I won't drop it. >> That's all you have, princess. >> I'm not using it. >> [ __ ] I don't give a [ __ ] if you use or not. You're not going to slow me down. >> Okay, whatever. But >> I'm not going to attack you. You know me well enough. I'm not going to attack you because I'm not an [ __ ] But get the out of here. My car went in there cuz I went off the [ __ ] road and you're trying to challenge me with some other [ __ ] >> No. >> Get the out of here. >> My lawyer you have >> what the step by step was. And I told you >> negative. >> Yes. >> Negative. Okay. Keep repeating it, princess. It's a [ __ ] car off the [ __ ] road. I live a mile from here. Not even not even a half aing mile and you're harassing me as a local resident, you dick face. >> We could be back at the station and nearly releasing you by now. >> [ __ ] Doesn't work that way. >> It does. >> It does not. I promise you. >> When I told you >> I used to do that. It doesn't work that way. You idiot. You're talking to the person that used to do that. Are you that stupid? >> Joel, before all of this started happening, we >> started happening. before you started getting aggressive. Before we start, >> am I really that aggressive? >> You were at one point. >> I'm actually quite calm. >> You are very calm. >> I'm totally like You're shutting down traffic in a major lane for your ego. You >> stupid piece of [ __ ] >> For your safety. >> No, it's your [ __ ] ego. You stupid piece of [ __ ] >> You have nobody coming here. Nobody coming here because your [ __ ] ego. You pile of [ __ ] >> [ __ ] you. >> Before this went crazy. >> It didn't go crazy. He's aing loser. You can't leave. You can't direct. Tase me. This is your time. >> I'm not tasing you. >> You need to. >> I'm walking slowly. I love it. I love the burn. >> Burn me down. >> No. >> I love it. >> No. >> Nobody's going to [ __ ] harass you, brother. >> What's that? >> Nobody's going to harass you. I love the light. I love it. Hit me right in the throat. >> Come on. Are you trying to beat me at the video? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, you are. >> No. Yeah, you are, [ __ ] >> Video's been playing the whole time. >> Tase me. >> No. >> Tase me, [ __ ] >> Joel, I'm not tasing you. >> Tas me. >> No. >> I've broken no laws. >> Then you're going to get down on the ground. You're going to put your hands behind. I've broken no law. >> And we are going to ride to the police station. >> I've broken no laws. >> Then that's a fight for a different day. >> Wrong. >> In court. >> Me going off road is not youring business being off road. No, you're respond. It wasn't a traffic accident. Was it a traffic accident reported to you? Was there a traffic accident reported to you? >> Yes, we got multiple calls for it. >> Bull [ __ ] >> You can pull the records. >> Trust me, I have a guy who will. I just want to you all. >> Well, that's not going to happen. >> I promise you, you should drop your firearms. >> Joel, like you said, you didn't want to hurt any of us, >> okay? And that deep down you do respect this job. >> Don't forget, I'm not some karate. I'll rip your arms in half and choke you the out. Joel, >> we got to take a ride. So, we get this done. >> Okay. >> So, we're done. >> Done with what? Done with me? >> Done with tonight? >> Continue your shift. >> No. Well, yeah. I got to work until 7:00 a.m. in the morning. >> Okay. What do I call? >> What's that? >> Exactly. >> Your car? >> Your car is going to get towed by Medford Village Care and it's going to be held in their secured lot. >> [ __ ] >> That's exactly where it's going. >> Okay. That's my wife over there. Can I speak to her privately? She can come over here. >> No, she can't. >> Want to bet? >> She can't >> bet me. Princess Anastasia, come over here. >> She's not going to come over here. >> Want to bet? >> No. >> Bet me. >> I'm not betting you do that lawfully. >> You're breaking the law. How about we get the out of the road? Wouldn't that be smart? >> The only way we're getting out of the road is when you sit down. >> Stupid mother. >> I will agree with you if you get the out of the road. You inconsiderate pieces of [ __ ] Mother went wrong. What is wrong with you? I swear to God if I see you when I'm on I'll [ __ ] crucify your asses. >> You candy ass [ __ ] >> So what will get you to the >> Shut the up. >> I'm asking. >> Nobody knows your name. Shut the [ __ ] up. >> You there? >> Please stop. >> I'm not doing anything. These [ __ ] have like 20 cops on one cuz that's what they need to feel powerful cuz not one can do aing thing by themselves. Why don't you close your eyes and say a prayer? >> For what? To make them go away. >> For Satan to leave you, >> Anastasia, I was going to get youing meatball sandwiches. Are you serious right now? What do you guys want? >> Joel, put your hands behind your back. What's that? >> Can you take my phone? >> I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not going to hurt you. >> If you're going to be compliant, we won't put you on the ground. >> Turn around. What did I say? Okay. I promise. >> If you guys start getting aggressive, we're going to get a fight. Be polite. >> You got two. You got two. >> Back off. Back off and be polite. >> You want two cuffs so your shoulders aren't >> off and reset. All right. When you're ready. All >> righty. You ready? >> Do you want a second set of cuffs to make it a little less likely for you? >> Here. I'm going to give him to the officer. >> Handcuff got torn. Absolutely. >> You just have deviation with you. Who you actually like? >> Grab your hand. All right. >> Yeah, man. >> Thank you, sir. Here comes the other handcuff. >> [ __ ] grab your other hand. All right. And separate so I don't hurt your shoulder. >> I will get your wife a meatball sandwich. >> Don't. >> Okay. >> Probably punch. >> Well, that's okay. I can take that. I'd rather get punched by her than you. personally. >> It wouldn't punish you. I know. You know me better. >> I know. >> But we also don't want to hurt you. >> But there's also what? You guys aren't responding properly. >> You guys are not responding properly. >> We can address that in a different day. >> And there's so many ways you can do better. >> Okay. >> And you're not going to deal with anybody nastier than me as far as someone that's going to hurt you. And I don't want to hurt any of you, >> Joe. I'm going to search. >> But I also don't want what? >> I don't want to have to hurt anybody else. So there's certain rules and regulations, right? Okay. I apprehend this. Guess what? I caught apprehension procedures as a third degree black Brazilian the Luther li black of Brazil and aing 20 time world champion. I'm going to search you. Okay. >> Yeah, man. >> Joel, >> we were not lying to you. You're not going to jail for >> very interesting in custody cuz a lot of stuff I want to talk about with this cuz this video went super viral and a lot of people sent it to me cuz there are some links and I believe that there's some information on this guy. Let's talk about what got him to chill out. Was his wife on the phone saying, "Say a prayer that Satan will leave you." And he chilled out and calm down and let the officers take him into custody. So, I'm going to talk about this cuz I know that this goes a lot of different ways. There are officers I know for sure that are saying that these officers didn't handle business and they should have not let him run the show. No matter how big he is, no matter what, that they should have just put hands on him and taken him into custody, utilized the tactics and everything that you have to do. Then there's another school of thought. Some people are going to say, "Well, they waited him out. No one got hurt. They were able to cuff him. So, it's a win." And it's very interesting to hear the two sides debate. Some points of fact. The officers definitely should have the tactics to be able to take this person into custody with the tools and the training that they have. They elected to talk. I was a negotiator. I have no challenge with people talking, but we don't let the other person run the show. And that can come in a lot of different packages. Take it for [music] what it's worth. This was done in 2023. And as a Marine myself and I hear him talking about PTSD and being a veteran and having gone through a lot of different things, I think about that stuff. And so for me, I can see that this likely could have been a challenge for him. Is that an excuse to act in that manner? Absolutely not. But it could be a reason. And what I do want to say is that it looks like I'm not going to say his full name, but it looks like this person is actually a trainer of mixed martial arts and some other things. It says he was arrested for aggravated assault, resisting DUI, and cited for refusing to submit to a breathalyzer, which is interesting. There's also a link to an apology that he made for his behavior at the scene here. And I think that I'm going to link this if I can so that you can read the apology because I don't believe that we should judge a person by their worst day, their worst act, or their worst action. From a tactical perspective, there are some things that now in this air conditioned space of mine, in hindsight 2020, that I would do differently and likely I imagine they would have done differently as well. But this is constructive for the young aspiring officers and for people who watch us or people who might potentially be on a jury. Very interesting to see how this played out and I'm likely going to at least put a link to the apology or you can probably find it through another means. I believe that people should have the opportunity to redeem themselves. >> Don't put me in jail. >> We're not I'm telling you put me overnight. >> Listen, you're not going to jail. Tell me I'm not going overnight. >> You're not going to jail. >> You're not going overnight. You're not going to jail. >> I have severe PTSD. I know we can't shake hands. I know we can't shake hands. >> Listen, I know we can't shake hands. I've given you no reason not to trust me, right? Until I do. We should >> get a sandwich for the kids. >> I'll get it for you. >> Don't you dare. >> Okay, then. I want to make this as easy as possible on everyone. >> Your wife's going to follow us to the station to pick you up. >> Okay. Does that give you >> Is she really going to pick me up? >> I swear to God, buddy. I swear on my wife and I love my wife. If we had that conversation, >> moving the tank, I'm going to up everybody in the entire tank like twice. >> So listen, I promise you there is no tank. >> I'm going to make all your little gang boy members look like little [ __ ] I'm going to >> Can I talk for two seconds? >> I'll tell you exactly what's going to happen. >> You want to see what a real fighter does against little guys that think they're tough? >> I don't. >> I willing every single one of them. >> I believe you tank. >> I believe you. >> And I'm going to show you what the finally once and foring all what needs to happen to these douchebags. >> Okay, Joel. There's no one else back there. We have to take you where the alco test is. Brother, I got robbed bying Rose. >> I know, but once that process is done with the Yaka test, we'll sign you over to your wife, bud. That's why she's going to follow us to the station. I would not swear to my wife. You don't realize how much I love my wife. You are not going to jail, bud. Pull them off. >> Hey, wait. Let me let me see if that seat's all the way back. You might go back. There's a I'm going to move that seat back a little bit. Step back. I think we got some more room. not going to resist. >> All right, we got leather. We're nice and we're nice here. All right, >> you promise me I'm not going to deal with it. >> Promise. >> Hear that loss. >> No one wishes that. No one wishes that. >> I've been cool for so long. I've been sober for so long. Fighting PTSD, man. Don't destroy this for me, please. >> We're not trying to. That's not That's none of our wishes right now. We're trying to get you in, process you, give the officer a blow, and we can quick get you home. Hold on. This is based on what? Breath. >> Yeah, we're go back. We'll give you the option to blow. You can refuse if you would wish, but the state requires you to. Listen, we'll read the literature there. Not out here. >> Hold on. I will. We'll ask right now cuz I have every legal right. >> If I refuse to blow the breathalyzer, what happens? >> You'll be You'll be issued an additional summon for refusing to blow into the machine. >> That's fine. Listen right now. >> Just tickets. Okay. >> I refuse right now. >> Take a seat right now. >> All right. I'm going to shut this door slowly. Okay. >> Rock and roll, baby. >> All right. Let's go. >> Just a question. And this is not to make cast judgment on the performance of the officers. It's always in the question. It's not telling people what's right or wrong. Most of the time, a lot of times it's asking the question because we don't have all of the facts. But if this was a 5'5, 145 lb guy who's acting in the same manner, does he get taken into custody with different type of use of force? Does he get afforded all of the nicities and pleasantries that this gentleman received because he's a much bigger, larger person? Something to think about. Again, with this apology that he made, I hope that he really has gotten his life onto the right path and the right track. I mean, with a supportive wife like that that helped him through this process, which is called a third party intervener, which is the technical term for a person. It's a third party who intervenes to assist. She got him to calm down and it worked. Hopefully, he's on a different path. I wish him the best going [music] forward.
