Most people know that fighting with the police usually ends very badly and don't do it. But some sovereign citizens have a completely different idea of this concept. And this stop actually played right [music] into the stereotype that we see often with sovereign citizens. And unfortunately, it doesn't end very well for not one but two people. >> It's a blue Ford truck displaying some kind of sovereign citizen looking tag. Can you start us a second, please? I think it says union treaty. >> G convention neutrals neutral zone transport vehicle. You know what the flag upside down means? >> No. >> It's a sign of distress. >> Hey boss, how you doing? >> This officer knows that he's dealing with a sovereign right from the beginning. The plate is a very very clear indicator and it's good that the officer requests other units when that happens because you never know how it's going to turn out because we've seen what happens with sovereign sometimes in the past. >> Hey, so the reason why I'm stopping you boss, I didn't recognize the tag dealers on your vehicle. >> Yeah. >> Do you have your driver's license registration with you? >> Here you go. I got right here. So many times you will see them on speaker phone with someone giving them advice and almost always it's really really bad advice. >> Where's the paperwork at Michelle? >> It's behind your seat. >> It's where she wants to talk. >> Okay. Where's your driver's license, boss? >> No, I don't need my window now. >> I'm sorry. So, do you have a driver's license? >> Yeah, we're right there. >> Okay. What's your name, boss? I don't see your name on here. >> Can you point it to me? >> Under your jurisdiction. Okay, that's not how this works. Where's your uh drop your name at? >> So, this is already a no person won't have the window rolled down, pulling out this bogus paperwork, and you got someone chattering on the speaker phone, which makes it really, really challenging. And I think that the other officer may be in training. So, that's why we're still probably going to need another full-fledged unit to show up, but I'm not 100% sure. >> I'm just giving him the paperwork. >> He doesn't get to say anything. Okay, >> sir. You talk to him, man. >> Ma'am, if he refuses to identify himself in this traffic stop, there's going to be an issue, >> sir. >> Uh-huh. >> He is identifying as a national of the neutral powered state. As you know, that removes him from your jurisdiction. >> Uh, it doesn't matter who he identifies as. He's operating a motor vehicle in the state of Florida. Ma'am, >> this is like when I explain about the passenger getting the driver in trouble. This is the same type of situation where the speaker phone person is getting the driver to walk down the wrong road. A lot of times it's the passenger in the car. This time it's the person with the speaker phone. >> How far out? >> 93. >> No, I just wanted to check. >> You can hear radio air. Police radio air. He's asking how long for his second unit to arrive, which again makes me believe that the other officer on the other side might be in training. Maybe not. But again, when you're asking for another unit like that, when you have someone there, a lot of times it's because a person's in training. This in the officer's mind looks like it's going to go south. >> Ma'am, so this is what this is what's going on. The tag on his vehicle does not appear like it's it's proper back to any state. So, appears the vehicle is unregistered. Then on top of that, I come up here, I'm asking for his identification documents, and he's handing me a stacket of papers instead of a driver's license. So, I'm concerned he might be driving without a driver's license, and his vehicle might be unregistered. on the phone right now because he signed a heart treaty and you are in violation of it right now. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Where's your What's your name, boss? Sir, what's your name? >> Everything. Right here. >> Can I see your name, please? >> Right here. >> Where? Right there. >> Just point. >> Where? Where's What's Where's your name, sir? I don't see. >> Are you the postmaster? That's what it says. Postmaster. >> I am the postmaster. >> Which So, is your first name Mark or your last name Mark? >> Okay. Postmaster. Let me explain. They like to use the postmaster term because they feel like it gives them some type of authority and there's some verbiage and words they can use that they can say that they're a postmaster and it gives them some type of legal status. It does not. The other thing is if you look at this paperwork here, you can see that there are some notary stamps on the paperwork and to them that means that this is an official document. What a lot of people don't realize is that a notary is just most of the time stamping that your signature is who you are. Not that the paperwork means anything official. That paperwork is worth the paper that it was printed on and nothing more. >> So nothing on here has your name >> right there. It's >> your Destiny Mark >> Dry. Is that how am I saying it? And what's your last name, boss? I can't see it. >> Right here. Wman. >> Werman. What's your date of birth, sir? >> It's all right here. >> It's not telling me anything. >> All right. Well, this is the thing. If we cannot properly identify you, then there could be a potential issue for us coming up. Sir, I'm telling you that you cannot talk to us. >> Uh, well, that's fine. He doesn't necessarily have to talk to me, but he does have to obey my lawful commands. >> Sir, as you know, the terms of the Geneva Convention clearly state that you are required to have knowledge of every term. >> Hey, Murphy. >> Why is he looking at my >> This is part of his job. Hey, Murphy, can you just switch to me real fast? >> Lieutenant Who? >> What's Lieutenant who? >> Port. >> Lieutenant who? >> Lieutenant. >> I think she trying to say Garza. Yeah. >> All right. Just hold on right here. I just got to look at something real fast. >> Yes. >> That's going to be negative. Comes back on a blue 2012 Ford registered to a lower limb out of Lake Helen. Expired back in 2022. >> All right, sir. This is kind of where we're at. So, I checked the uhudio. >> Hang on. Hang on. Michelle, hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Michelle, >> Michelle, hang on. >> So, this is kind of where we're at. So, I checked the VIN. The car is currently Looks like it's unregistered. Do you have a Florida driver's license or driver's license out another state that I can check to ensure that you're a licensed driver? >> Right there is all I got. >> Okay. Well, there's a problem. So, I tried to search you up under this. I can't find anybody, you know, I can't find you. So, if I can't verify that you're you have a valid driver's license, then how am I supposed to let you drive off? >> She's coming. >> All right. That's not going to that's not going to change anything. >> He's saying I got to have a valid driver license >> to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Florida. Yes, sir. >> Okay. You're at Catalina and Howland? >> Yeah. >> Okay, sir. It's a it's a simple question. Do you have a valid driver's license >> right there? Ask him that because he's not required to death. Is your middle name Mark? >> Why are you giving him? >> Well, because he's got it right here. He's got the paperwork in his hand. >> All we're trying to do is just identify you. That's it. And then send you on your way. Um, is that your last name? >> Yep. >> Okay. Is your ID through Florida? >> What state is it from? >> Where are you? >> I'm right here. >> What state is it from? >> She's coming. >> That's fine. What state is your ID from? >> I don't have an ID. I would surrender my ID, my birth date, and everything. >> When you used to have an ID, what state was it from? >> Um, Colorado. Colorado. >> This guy's in a pickle because he doesn't really know and he's not versed in how to throw back at the officer the sovereign verbiage. He's got the woman screaming on the speaker phone. He's saying stuff to the officer. And this guy's having the realization that the officers are going to win this encounter. And this officer knows exactly what he's talking about when dealing with sovereigns. >> Here she is. She's right there. >> That's fine. I I don't need her actually. And she's not going to come over here. Um what is your date of birth? >> It's right there. Everything's right there. >> No, not everything is right here. No, he has a birthday. He is a living soul, not a corporation entity. >> Okay, >> does that make sense? >> Not all this. I know. >> Hop on out. >> I'm not Why? Why do I need to get out of my car? Have I done something wrong? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Before you drag me out of the car, what have I done? >> Hop out of the car. >> I've done something wrong. >> You're failing to You're failing to identify yourself. >> I That's not a That's not a law. Stay here. >> It's not registered. >> Stay on my wallet. It's not >> Stay on my wallet. >> Everything's coming out your pockets. >> No. I don't I don't accept >> You might not accept it, but it doesn't mean it's not happening. >> You guys are illegally [ __ ] turned to me for no [ __ ] reason at all. >> None. >> Just harass them. >> Okay. >> Title 18. >> Yes. Do you want to talk to him or not? If not, we're going to get him out of here. We're trying to give you the keys. >> Hey, what? >> Hey, watch your bag. >> Do I need to call him myself? Because I have a phone number for him. >> Unlock this door now. No, I'm not going to un You >> get out. >> We breaking out. >> Open the door now. Guess now. Get out. Get out. Couple of arrests, multiple officers at the scene having to take care of this situation from a situation where a person could have just provided their driver license or got their vehicle registered in the first place. I call this a twofer. Two for the price of one. This guy's listening to an adult human female giving him horrible advice and he ends up in jail believing the nonsense.
