So, what what happened today? I guess that's she blew up about something this morning as soon as she woke up and I'm just trying to be okay, whatever. I'm trying to get a job over at Walmart. I called them. I've been getting hassled around with that. So, yeah, I wasn't in the greatest mood. I made some coffee, went out and had a cigarette. Here she comes having a whole attitude. I'm going, "What the hell is going on with you?" And then she was saying because she had to do lab work and that there's no food in the house and we just got food stamps today. And it's like, "Lady, it's not that big of a deal. You don't have to freak the hell out every single time." And then she wants to get all selfish and use cut cards up, and do all this It's like, "What are you doing, lady?" So, nothing got physical today. That was just you guys were arguing. And she's sitting here making this out to be all sorts of whatever. AND IT'S LIKE, "NO, LADY. Stop with this I've been trying. First off, years ago, I told her, "Can you just leave because you're making things worse here. Can you just go?" She refused the longest time. So, if she wants to go, she can go. I don't even care. But there's no reason for her to start that in the morning for no reason. And then she's cutting up that's not even part like it's her property now because it's her name on the food stamp card, but it's under my name, too. I am part of her case and everything else. So, she's cutting up cards. She's cut up my bank cards before. I had to repair my ID at one point because that was already snapped in half. And all this other crap, she takes money out of my my pockets, my wallet, and she just takes off hours away with some random people that she supposedly knows. Then when she's on her way but something goes wrong over there, she wants to come back. I'm the stupid one that let her come back. But now all of a sudden she's got a freaking PlayStation that she stole from somebody else's house. And I had to go take it back to the police station. You know, and all this other It's like, "I'm going to get irritated. I'm going to yell." Do I want to? No. Nothing got physical. Nothing at all. I mean, yeah, maybe she was standing in the hallway and I had to squeeze past. So, I'm not thin. But, nothing that Did you talk to her at all like No, yeah, she didn't want to come out. I talked to him, and he said he just heard the screaming and yelling and came out. He didn't say anything else, so. She can leave. She can take Was she trying to leave then or I don't know if she wants to or not, but she can. I don't care. I would rather she leave because it's too much stress on me. Okay. I've been dealing with her for so long. What uh She has the same problem with her own mother. She's dealing from her own mother. She steals from everybody. She stole from Dry Ridge. We all know this. I know. And it's just ridiculous. And I'm going to sit here the first day we moved out here. I said, "We're not doing any of this." You know? We You may have had a problem with this back in where we were, but we're not there no more. This is a whole new place. Nobody knows us. We don't need to start off on that foot out here. So, I'm sorry if I'm the parentish one here because everybody in this house seems to be a lot older than me, but the mentality isn't quite there maturity-wise as far as here how to handle things. So, I may lose my temper and I'll yell. But, after I've been to jail, I'm not going to get physical. I'm going to yell if I'm going to do anything. So, there's a lot of yelling then. You There was a little bit for like 2 minutes, 2 or 3 minutes. That's it. that called it in said they heard slamming and stuff. What was that? Like punch They said it sounded like punching the wall. No, the door slams. The door slams? Cuz you got to shut the damn thing so hard it ain't even Which door? The front door inside here. So, were you guys outside yelling? No, we were in the house. You were in the house while Well, did you There were some outside when you were smoking? Didn't you hear or no? No, I wasn't yelling outside. I was out on the porch. I was having a cigarette. on the porch this time? Yeah. It was inside the house. I went out on the porch to have a cigarette. And that's when the You were saying you were slamming the door. I just shut the door. That was it. You have to slam that door shut, otherwise it's not going to stay shut. Okay. Well, I'm going to try to talk to him real quick and She probably doesn't want to talk, but she can leave. I don't care. I don't want to deal with her. If she's going to be like this all the time, then she can go. And then she wants to try to turn everything on me. No. She wants to be drama, and that's all she's been since day one. I try to deal with it as calm as I can, but there's problems. Right. How are we doing? Yelling, screaming, and pounding. Is there a female inside? Is Janelle inside? Is Janelle her name? Okay. What are I forget what your name is, sir. Patrick. Patrick? What uh What's going on today? Janelle! She's always starting the crap. Okay. She provokes. Okay. That's why he is the way he is. Sure. That's all I have to say. What happened today, though? I have no Same as every other day. Okay. Did you see anything physical? I didn't see nothing physical. Okay. Nothing physical between the two. Just a lot of screaming and Okay. Sounded like there was some pounding or something going on? Well, he He slammed the door. Okay. The inside door or Yeah. Okay. Last night at the door, he opened it up, he yells, and slams it again. Okay. So, you weren't involved in any of this whatsoever. Were you just in your bedroom sleeping in there or what? I just came out to find out what the hell was going on. Okay. Cuz you heard the screaming and it woke you up? Is that what you're saying? You were sleeping? Okay. You think Janelle would come out and talk to us? You'd have to ask her that. I can't even ask for it. Okay. It's like if you're going to sit here and you know exactly what's pushing somebody to do you know, go out of their calm and go out of their whatever. There's a 50/50 here. You know what I'm saying? It's not just one not the other. It's all If one starts, the other one's going to So, what I do I don't understand right now it doesn't sound like it reached the level of like a domestic, nothing like that. No. It did cause a disturbance enough that your neighbors called. So, at least I'm going to write you both a disorderly conduct ticket because neither of you can keep your tempers in check enough that somebody else had to call it in. So, I mean that's minimum going to happen right now. So. How much is that? Like 300 and some dollars, I think, to be honest with you. Do you guys know how much I make? I don't. $1,046 a month. Do you know how much my utilities are? Pretty close? Close to $400. For this. You see that? How much do you I understand that, but when there's a disturbance, we got to do something or it's going to keep happening. I understand. I understand. My wallet's already taking a hit. And maybe maybe that's the incentive you guys need to figure it out or split or whatever you got to do. I mean Probably, cuz money is a problem right now. So, if that's what it's going to be, then Yeah, let's just step over here. There's cars coming in and out just so we're not in the road. Can I grab a cigarette? Um Can we wait a couple minutes just so we can figure out what before Yeah. So, uh what's going on today? Sounded like like a verbal argument between the two of you or Yeah, it's just What happened? Nothing really. Nothing physical happened. It was just yelling, screaming. You know, I was trying to tell him cuz we got our food stamps, okay? Mhm. So, we got our food stamps today. I'm like, okay, I'll call and make the appointment. You know, got the food stamps, went up to vendors to get I got pizza, soda, and Pringles. Mhm. So, I can eat something. So, I can take And it was a big thing because I spent over $20. So, I was pretty much telling him, you know, you guys ate this morning. I haven't been able to eat. Okay. So, you guys argued about that and it got loud? Yeah. And you you're screaming at him, he's screaming at you? were trying to talk over each other. Okay. Now, the person that called it in said it sounded like Yeah, we don't just show up at your house. Nobody You didn't call us, right? No, I didn't. He didn't call us, either. So, you caused enough of a disturbance that a neighbor called us. Um Probably the maintenance guy. Maybe. Um I don't I don't actually know who it was. I haven't got that far. It was just they they called the dispatch and we came over. So, they said it sounded like somebody was punching the walls or something. No, it's slamming the door. Slam the door? How many times? Two or three. We kept trying to talk over each other and you know, somebody says something and one tries to walk away and then they hear someone come back and it's kind of a toxic circle. But I just slammed the door. Okay, so in and look. There's no damage to anything. You're Samuel, right? Or Huh? I was trying to think if I had a cigarette on me, but I don't. All right. Like I said, unless anything comes up crazy over there, it's looking like two disorderly conduct tickets for causing the disturbance that your neighbors had to call in. Yeah, cuz there's nothing physical that happened. Right. I mean, if I walk past somebody and I happen to touch you, you want to be in that kind of a mood to say whatever. I mean, that's what you want to say, but that's not what happened. Right. You know what I'm saying? So. Where did your argument take place at? On the porch. So, you came out to the porch and that's the door the door between the porch and the house that was getting slammed or what? This is our bedroom. We started arguing in here. Okay. he had went out to come smoke a cigarette. And then I went out to the kitchen, you know, I was going to start the oven to put the pizzas in instead. And then I could hear him, you know, talking crap. And so go back and it was like, you know, just shut up. You know, yeah, granted, I don't get income, but I clean. Okay. So, I just so I'm clear, you you neither one of you were physical today. Yeah. Nobody got hurt today. Um Nobody got pushed. Nobody got pushed. Nobody Nobody You're just You're yelling over each other and that caused the disturbance where the neighbors called it in. So, you guys were yelling loudly? Yeah. Okay. Not really loud, yeah. Patrick, was he involved in this at all or He was trying to calm it down. Between the two of you? Yeah. Okay. All right. Why don't you sit tight here? I'm going to just talk to uh the other officers quick just to make sure that the stories are still the same. Okay. And uh I'll be back with you, okay? So, here's the deal. I mean, if there's nothing physical and stuff like that, you know, we probably you have no reason to arrest anybody per se unless one of those stories is different. Okay. Um I mean, it shouldn't be that's exactly what happened. Well, when I was over there, he had a similar story, you know, yelling, screaming, and the door was just what was the slamming. Right. Um how do we resolve this today though? I mean, can somebody go someplace to I mean, I don't want to leave and then you guys go at it again and then it gets physical. the dog for a walk. Okay. I usually walk her up to the dog park, open dog park, and that's like a 2-mile walk there and then she'll play. I mean, I'll be gone for probably 3 or 4 hours. Okay. Well, what happens when you come back though? I mean, it sounds like you guys are not in a good place at the current moment anyways. Uh I can check with him before I come back and make sure he wants me back here. Okay. And if he doesn't, what do you do? Um I can go across the street um the I shouldn't even go over there. Um Jane Okay. Or over this way to Brenda's. Okay. All right. It started in the house and then he was like, "I don't want to deal with it." And he was saying that she's got to go. That's what he was saying. So, they just kind of asked her to leave from there. that's something you guys need I mean, technically this is her residence too, but you can go down to the courthouse and get her evicted through the proper "She's not paying anything. She has no income." you let her live here is the problem. So, this is technically her residence. So, if you want to get her evicted, you'd have to go down to the courthouse and get I think it's months or take that long actually. Really? I bet it you could do it within a couple of take her out or What? If everything gets through the court, yeah. Let's take her But you got to you got to go through the proper channels of doing that, which is starting at the courthouse. Fair enough. Yeah, I don't know. That makes sense. So, you want to you just file it with the courthouse and you say, "Yeah, well And they'll And they'll set up Probably, yeah. Oh, yeah. You can say I mean, you can explain to them what happened here and all the stuff past stuff. I mean, yeah. Well, the thing is is like okay, so you know what there's a point Sorry, my hands are No, you're good. But anyway, so when somebody's in a point in their life where they are kind of And when they're younger, you know, and then they hit that that turning point for maturity where they think, "I need a job. I need this. I need this. I need to get my head in the game. I need all this stuff." And it's like I just don't have time to deal with something else, somebody else, anything like that. Especially that's not helping you get to where you're trying to be. Exactly. So, when I when when when things like me and her got together, it was not me that wanted any part of the relationship specifically. All of that was a really really bad time. I'm not about anybody else right now. I said my dad just had a stroke in 2015. I said, "I don't have time to deal with nothing." I said, "I barely have time to go to work when I do end up going to work." And there's even a possible cry out in the middle of my dad coming by to go get him. That's a 45-minute drive one way and he had a stroke. So, this was fresh. It's not like later on after he recovered from it. So, I was like, "No, I don't have time for that. You know, this that we can still be friends, you know, whatever you want to do, but that's it. I'm not tying myself down with nothing. Cuz she's lived here with you for a while, hasn't she? Yeah, she's lived here for 3 years. We've been together almost 10 years. So, it's like why are you going to sit here and pressure me, you know? To the point where eventually I was like, "Okay, fine. We'll try this." But I said if it don't work, it don't work. I'm not going to keep going out with it. And then it just kind of got worse over the time and then it's one day she doesn't want to leave and she refuses to leave and then the other day she wants to leave and then it's a whole thing and then she ends ends and then she comes back and then it's this, and that. There's just so much that's going on, and it's like I keep telling her that she needs to get help with her status, too, because So, what did she say today that started the argument? It doesn't have to That's the problem. It doesn't have to be anything serious. It's like she Yeah, I know, but I'm just What started today? Like, she just woke up in the and then it was the food thing with the food stamps. That was the whole thing that that started the whole thing because She said there's no food in the house? Right. Well, that's it, but it's like, you just want to She specifically just wants to go and buy herself some. Mhm. It's not all your food stamps. You also need to realize there are other people in this house. If you're going to go out and spend money at an expensive store, at least maybe buy something for everybody. out here. I'm going to go see what's going on. So, you know what I'm saying? All three of them have the same story, so I I pulled up, and she's like, "You got to get over there." She was screaming. So, I got my car here. I could just hear a man's voice yelling, and then bang. Like, I don't know. Did he hit something? Did he slam the door? Could it have been They both said it was they were arguing between the door with the porch in the house, and they kept slamming it on each other. Yeah. That's Does that sound consistent? Okay. So, nothing physical, just screaming and yelling over each other? And it was loud. Okay. Yeah, and he's on probation, so I just Uh there's no physical domestic, so I mean, I've arrested him before for it. Oh, yeah. Um I mean, he's been arrested twice before. This is the first time they've actually been consistent. And nothing physical. So, we're probably good. I mean, if you want to take off, I see if we can come up with a plan to separate. She has the same story, so I don't him I told him if that's the case, we'll just cite them both DC and call it a day. Okay. So, he is on probation. That would be the only thing. I'll just see if they want to go to hold on. That would be a Yeah. So, I'm saying it's probably just a disorderly conduct ordinance. Um that's up to you, I guess, if you really want to, or we can Is he going to be a big Do you think he needs to be held on No, they probably won't anyway, so You here You come here and talk to me real quick. So, So, Sam, here's the deal. I mean, she did she gave the same story that you guys are basically yelling at each other, yelling over top of each other, and that the doorway was what was getting slammed amongst each other. So, yeah, your stories are the same. So, are we going to take either one of you to jail? No, we're not going to do that. Um you obviously I think Officer Allen already told you you guys caused a disturbance because it caused a neighbor to come in. Um you're on probation. Um we're not going to check with them to see if they want a hold, but you need to give your probation officer a call and let her know what happened, okay? So, if she please contact her supervisor. Yeah. Please contact her supervisor. Our Our concern is how are you guys going to be cuz if I have to come If she has to leave, she has to leave. Well, she she said that she's willing to take the dog for a walk and get out of here for a few hours. Is that going to be enough time for things to calm down, or does does one of you need to find another place to go today or tonight? If she does that, then if she wants to do that, that's fine. Because here here's the If she comes back and she wants to leave, she can just leave. So, it's not going to get any worse than it is. I I don't want it if it gets where it was. So, So, this this is what I'm going to tell you right now. If it starts like that, she's got to go. If If I If we leave and we get the same phone call, there's two of us. We'll just take you both to jail for causing a disturbance or disorderly conduct. So, it cannot escalate to there again. Right. Um that's all we're asking. So, we're going to give you a do you a solid and not going to Did you Did you explain that to her, too? What's that? Did you explain that to her? Not yet because I needed to come over and make sure that everything was still Now that I had fully talked to her, I needed to make sure the story was the same here and nothing changed before I make that decision. Um but I will make that known to her. Um if she's going to leave for a walk, hopefully that's enough time. She mentioned maybe being able to stay with one of the neighbors or or You're right. Uh I think. What? Yeah. I don't want to be back. But we don't want to be back, you know. Well, I don't want to be back. I know you got a lot I know you got a lot going on and I There's a difference between the $300 citation and ended up in jail today. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm going to I'm going to talk to her real quick. Make sure she knows she's going to get a ticket, too. She like herbs? You like that? Well, just wait. Well, yeah. I mean, it's probably fine now. It's obviously really stupid. Okay. This is where we're at. Um everything lines up. You guys just clearly caused a disturbance. You you made neighbors call. Right. So, we're not going to take anybody to jail today. I mean, you guys are both equally guilty on this. Right. Um you said it yourself. So, you guys are just going to get citations in the mail. Um he's on probation. We're not even going to call his probation officer. He just needs to self-report that to her. Okay. Um now I want to make sure that this this doesn't escalate. Like I told him, if we get called back here, we're just going to take you both to jail cuz you've already caused a disturbance. Okay? Yeah. Don't want to do that, right? So, that means you two cannot get back to that level that you were at before. Can't get physical, can't get loud, can't slam doors. Um so, if you were planning to leave with the dog, I mean, I would prefer that you just, you know, get what you needed and leave while we're here so we know that at least when we leave, things are calm. Right. Okay. There's enough time that you guys can both get where you need to be to get along when you get back. Yep. Um so, do you want to go get your dog and Put some shoes on me. do that and then we'll let him you know, we'll just wait. Okay. So, she's going to get some shoes. So, I'm just going to have you wait outside. Shoes, dog. When she leaves, um then we're going to take off, too, and then you guys can go inside. I just want to make sure that we leave that it doesn't escalate. Mhm. Um cuz I don't want to take anybody to jail. All right. No. Um and then at some point, I don't know, do you guys both have a cell phone or I do not yet do. Yeah, she has one. So, I mean, maybe you guys can text each other in an hour and and make sure it's okay if she comes back. Right. Um I don't want you to come in blind and start Yeah, right. screaming again and arguing just make sure you guys are good. Yeah. And if she does come back, argue and walk away and call us. Yep. All right. Yeah. Don't start arguing with her. Don't let either one of you escalate. Yeah. Yeah, and it sound This is your dad, right? I mean, from my understanding, he's trying to calm the both of you down and it's just not working. Right. So, I mean, we have parents for a reason. They're to help you and save you from trouble. So, you need to listen to this Right. Yeah. So, if he's being the voice of reason and telling you to knock it off, Right. We have a woman in this situation. I understand that, but that's where you just walk away, okay? I mean, Walk away and call us. It's way easier than You're you're what? 30 what years 33 years old? You're old enough to know that, you know, they're difficult. Yeah. And you just need to move along sometimes. That's plenty of life lessons. So, so yeah, just But you know what? Men are difficult, too. Yeah. Um In different ways, you know. You just got to walk away. That's all. You just still you just You just don't let yourself be in that position. That's all I'm saying. I see what you're saying. So, So, you I'm good to go. I have no problem. So, I got a live in situation. Yeah. No. Dog's not going to eat me or anything, is it? Oh, no. All right. Good. No, I don't need that either. That's This is bad. Hi there. All right. So, we'll let you take off. All right. She looks like she's got a lot of energy. So, so just text Text him before you come back. Make sure you guys are good. Okay. And then uh Do what you need to do. Like I told him, if if one of you gets upset, you just got to walk away from each other, okay? Okay. Listen listen to dad here. He's going to be the voice of reasoning. If he tells you to knock it off, knock it off. All right. Otherwise, we end up coming. Are you guys going to send it in the mail, then? Yeah. So, All right. All right. Questions at all? No. All right. We'll let you set up a payment plan and everything. Hopefully, we're not back, okay? Call agent though. Call her. Cuz if she finds out from us, that's where you get in trouble. She won't be in until Monday, I think. Okay, leave a message. I'll just leave a message with the office. Leave a message. You don't want her to hear from us first. Right, no, understood. So, cuz she will certainly follow up. All right? Samuel and Janelle were both found guilty for disorderly conduct and ordered to pay a $263 fine. Hi there. Are you guys going to call Call it in or no, or what do you just Well, I just wanted to introduce you guys to the new community manager. Hi. Monday. Okay. Shannon. I'm Jeff. Hi, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, too. I'm Walt. This is Jeff. Okay. I heard this kind of happens here with this one. Uh it's been a long time. It's happened obviously, but it's it's been over a year, probably. So, it was a verbal only dispute. She's going to leave for a while, calm down. Hopefully we're not back. Hopefully. If we are, then Hopefully it's just something that simple. Yeah, I know. I mean, they know. If we come If we come back, they go to jail, so. I was going to say, is there a case number you guys have on this call coming out? Not right now. No, we there will be, but we don't have the ability to generate it right now. Is there a way for her to contact somebody to get it or A case number? Cuz anytime you guys get called to our property, like we have to file fill out an incident report. No. To to what level? I mean, if if we come here for an EMS call, you guys have no business really needing to know that information. like this, because Well, you said anytime, so I just want to make sure like we're not like this. Like if it's somebody for an emergency, like an EMS or something like that, then no, but Sure. if it's going to be an ongoing issue, we need to keep it tracked because Sure. Yep. You know, in the future we may have to do like a non-lease renewal Okay. or something like that. Yeah, I mean, and you can always check with us, but we I mean, you'd be surprised at how many little things like probably change a light bulb or something. Yeah, I don't want you to think just because I'm because I'm there that it's bad, you know, we're not all bad, so. I don't have one on me. Um But yeah, you can call the police department and and you can always get one. Thank you. Thank you, sir. You're welcome. Well, we appreciate you guys coming out. Like I said, I just wanted you to Just call her probably. Yeah, so I'm I'm the assistant chief and then Chris is the chief of police, so we're the two we're the two day call her, so you would just get one of us if you call between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and we're the ones that would release the records anyways. So yeah, just call during the day. It's rare that it's not one of the other working. Okay. Um so, I'd shake your hand and stuff, but they're kind of gross and sweaty cuz I'm nervous. Well, if y'all ever need anything from me, you know where I'm at. All right, so you live Are you living here, too, or just working? I'm going to be moving to the area if I can find somewhere to rent. There's nowhere to rent around here. Good luck with that. There there really isn't nothing to rent or buy in this town. And if there is, it goes like that. Yep. Yeah, but she's going to be here 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday now. Okay. Where are you from then? I'm actually Oh, that's not terrible then. Yeah. She's just worried about the the winter drive. That's my first Wisconsin winter. Oh, so you're not even from Wisconsin? You've never been through a winter yet? No. It's not too late to move. Well, there's nowhere to Yeah, I guess if I move out of state, there'll be somewhere to rent. What we were just talking about is like the snow's not bad, it's the freezing rain you got to watch out for. That's cold. Where are you from? Uh well, California and Texas. That's a lot warmer. Way way different than Wisconsin. different. Whatever, it's prettier out here, much prettier. All right, we'll let you guys get to it. Say that until there's 3 ft of snow on the ground. We have to go.
