on January 24th 2024 an officer from the Portage Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a welfare check after the driver's therapist called police concerned about some threats that they had made Lexi Lexi hi don't n we're good my hands are up I'm sorry really bad episode I wanted to talk to my therapist I didn't mean what I said okay okay don't take me to jail what's going on I just want to talk to you about what's going on take me to jail I think the best option right now I want to move over but yeah no I get it let's come on you can hold over we stop right away I think the best option for us right now is let's move forward here out of the middle of the intersection okay um just right up here we're going to take a left up into here okay will that be the best for you so we can get out of the middle of is that okay yeah you going to be okay to drive I'm fine I just don't want you to hurt me okay no we're good we're good here okay let's just move up there and let's stop there okay okay okay all I wanted Lexi I just wanted to talk to my therapist okay so I can't what happened do you want to step out of the car and talking so we're talking to I level no we're good we can just talk out of the car what's that I don't want to go to jail okay so what happened it started when my boss told me I can't work but he won't tell me why he won't write down why I can't work but the chief of police told him I can't work based on something that is not relevant okay so he won't fire me he won't do that and yet I and I can't find a job I I just find a job and I finally found one after a year and a half and I finally found one and now I'm trying to save it okay and I need to see my therapist to save it and I've had nightmares over it and I'm sorry I I just I I literally was about to have a panic attack so whatever I said I I didn't mean it it just kind of got blur it did and that's what I tried to explain to them okay and I don't want to go to jail get arrested take whatever and I I know that's what the therapist is for and I was there so I mean you have to say that's I made an emergency appointment for that so the thing is this actually came out as a welfare they just want to make sure you're okay I'm fine well you're not I want to talk to her where is she right the the therapist office that's why I left because I was like if I'm going to go to jail I I gota I don't want to be picked up here right I'm sorry that's just how it was no there's a lot going on in the situation I haven't even talked to them yet I just kind of want to make contact with you at first it's like they said okay so then when you have that then they said my insurance is running out and it's like I talked to them and they told me that it's extended through the rest of the year okay so when you have back and then this is important to me CU mental health and therapy is Way Beyond and this is what I've been taken care of absolutely and and it's it's like when they say that and they tell me that I'm wrong when I was on the phone with them for over an hour and then when somebody it gives me a really bad extreme flashbacks from what I've been through okay years ago and I and I think of like okay so is how I think of it is that's why I want to talk to my therapist because I figured a Breaking Point is I figure like when there's a situation I figure out there's a situation in an issue in my timeline that could have altered this completely like for example I have a van and it doesn't have a gas tank and it's got leak so I can't drive it well that's hindering certain days to work but the fact is if I would have gotten the job the vehicle that I originally wanted we wouldn't have been through all these hoops and I would have probably had a great job a year ago so then all of a sudden it eats at me and the things that were done and the abuse that I went through and and I'm sorry I really really am I just want to talk toist I'm fine I just okay she she is the best therapist I've had and and I've gotten so far and if I lost her I I will be very very sad okay okay and she's up at the pocket Center yeah and I would like to go back and finish my session you were with her I wasn't I was checking in you wanted to start the session I wanted to start the session it was at 3:00 it was at 3:00 okay gotcha okay so comments that were made though I'm just going to address this with you you said that you were going to kill yourself and everybody in there I said what should I just kill myself that's what you said what should I just K said should I just and and that's because of what I'm going through it's all flashbacks it's a trigger It's like because I feel like everybody says they want to help me but nobody can actually help me and I feel like I'm up against a brick wall and that's what I've been fighting for 40 years okay so it gets tiring and and and it's just an expression I would never kill myself if I would kill myself my parents would win because they actually paid $250,000 to have me un alived and hopefully I'd kill myself I've got proof but no one will take to court or testify because the people involved are police and I get that I'm just trying to move forward at this point so what I know happened so to say that I I've had all that it's just because that's what everybody wants me to do since day one okay they've been they they said it for decades my sister said it my mom has said it she said why don't you just kill yourself she goes why don't you just before we had a relationship before I transition before our new relationship things are changing now and I love it and I went to therapy and now I had to have an emergency therapy session because the cops using something against me and telling everybody else but not me and they're lying to me and it just it hurts me because I can't do anything about it so I want that's why I wanted to get in and and yeah you're right I did say a couple of those things but I'm I didn't mean it it was expression okay okay I I have to ask these questions because of what you said I hope you understand this do you want to kill yourself no absolutely not okay I've got 100 animals at home I take care of I got a horse I got Ducks I got I love my life yeah I got a mini cdale oh wow okay yeah she's beautiful so I love my life Absol absolutely it's just that I like to work so I could fund the you know cuz that's all I have to pay for is my animal feed okay and then I got no not going to kill anybody okay absolutely not that was question I've been to jail I've been to jail before I'm I I'm happy in my own s acre jail we're all gated in I'm happy there I know I know I know the right thing to do I have morals I've never skipped on my morals or my my my things for decades I yes I get frustrated I'm hurt they just asked if I was okay and we're okay here yeah we're fine I'm I'm just scared that you were going to like cuff me tase me shoot me take me to jail no that's I just I didn't want us in the middle of that intersection understand why I left I didn't leave because I was running it's it's just because some people they're good cuffs and you're showing me you are and others are not apprciate and and it hurts because the ones that are bad that don't want me to respect or not like that that stab me in the back okay I I like I now I feel you're not and if you do then I'm like well I got screwed again but again all I want to do is talk to my therapist and move forward right um hang out here I'm going to talk to my sergeant quick um just hang on here if that's okay yeah just hang on right here okay so obviously I haven't talked to the pocket Cent why don't you call up there explain kind of what's going on and see I mean if they're willing to have them come in I mean see if they're willing to do that if not we'll figure out do something to call Northwest in still too I mean if he's if she's going she I don't want us she correct okay she's going just going are there any weapons in the car off pocket knives or anything like that dad's vehicle and I might have a knife for the farm in there just a small one in my purse or something cuz we have live on a farm so usually have and that's fair the the reason that I'm asking is if you wanted I was going to say if you wanted to sit back in the car while we waited while we talked on the phone and stuff I was going to let you but I wanted to make sure there was no weap yeah no I would never hurt anybody I I have I have like I said I have way too many animals and I love my animals too much to to to do it okay and and it's yeah I've Had My Moments you know but I mean I I've never would I've got too much to live for good I'm such I you know when you hear people say you're a good person and you always do good no matter what which I do and I done good in this world that they've been humble about but you know what my heart's not going to break I'm going to still be the same good person I am I'm just going to take the bullet right now I'm hurting and I wanted to talk to my therapist that's it okay so I'm sorry no you're okay so like I said like he said he's going to call pocket Center and see if we can if they'll still see you up there you know so we can we'll probably follow you up there just to make sure you get up there safely and stuff like that yeah police esort yeah we won't do all the lights and stuff like that could you I mean that would be kind of no we get in trouble for that kind of stuff so um but if they'll still see it we'll make sure we can get you up there and all that kind of stuff I pass you and then you have to put your lights on right yes okay okay okay well it depends on how fast you go past me like if I'm doing 35 and you pass me at 37 I'm probably not going to pull there a loophole assist someone to go so I had laugh no you're all good um so let we'll kind of wait but like I said if you want to sit back in your car as long as there's I'm just going to kind of glance to make sure there's nothing like sticking out as far as weapons so if you wanted that's my dad's vehicle so if you want to sit down if you're good out here I'm fine with that too survived it I survived a serial killer I worked with the FBI once and I put away a serial killer I was next wow yeah and in the same month I turned in in the same two months I turned in a meth lab that was above me in the um uh Hotel I was staying at for a few months and then also when I I moved to a new place there's a sex trafficking rain going around my corner that I turned into all within 3 months same town wow where was that at in New Mexico no bless you I was in New Mexico okay so I'm am the type of person that when I see I will do and put my neck out in line even if it means me getting murdered right and I almost did I was a day away wow and I've never retaliated never hurt anybody I'm angry yeah we have it's em motion mhm but have I ever wanted to hurt anybody no it's just hi Sheila this is Officer Roy Portage PD you guys said called about Lexi yep hi so I'm with Lexi currently um she's extremely apologetic um she said that what she said happened because of a manic episode and that's why she wanted to see her therapist um as soon as she could um she still would like to see her therapist but I don't know what your guys's thoughts would be I am so sorry about that um um um well I mean she just threatened to kill my staff right and herself in a waiting room full of people what did Lexi say specifically numerous times I should just kill myself and then I'm going to kill you guys and then that's when she left and that's when she left the first time that threatened to kill herself the first time yep and then left came back threatened to kill them then left and then I was up here when she come in the third time to apologize and we had told her that we called the police and then she took off yep and I'm again I'm out with her right now what was that I'm asking Lyn if she'll still see her oh okay um she said no it's not safe if she just threatened people so she doesn't want to see her anymore she'll we'll schedule an appointment by video but we don't really want her in the office anymore okay okay um CAD update give me a quick minute I'll go talk to Lexi and see if they're okay with that see if we can TR kind of facilitate over the phone so that or something like that I don't want to get solicitation it's like um I am going to make to wear though please I have to it's part of my job if you don't want to talk to them you don't have to I'm going to let them know that you've already set up and we've already facilitated a therapy appointment so that way you can talk to your therapist and all you want to do is talk to your therapist what everything want they're going to go through the same thing I've done this for years they said you tell yourself no I'm not clearly I have nothing I yeah I know I know it's not that I'm trying to beat it it's like no I have animals to take care of I want to learn how to ride my horse this year I want to do that that's why I pissed off that I lost my job cuz I hired a trainer a good one and that that was going to help me and it's like I was looking forward to that I finally was looking forward to riding my horse and doing things that I couldn't do last year cuz I didn't have a job now it all wrecked me so it all set back like you know what if I would did this and then I it it tumble rolled so thank you yep so absolutely no I appreciate it don't stop being this nice to people and and and try to seriously because I heard that there's a thing called C brain don't try not to get into C brain because it's going to destroy us out there it is cuz you two plus Chief Beck Becker in R you're the three that I actually trust only three sad well for me that means a lot that means a lot for me I always try to treat everybody the same I mean we're all humans at the end of the day we are and it's like matter SC up not going to be perfect every single day of the week the same time is it's like you can't just say we we bounce two steps back take the 60 steps back and like right so um I'll see if they can try and get further options at home for you too if you want it or not but um well if they want to help they can give me a find me a job and cut the red tape even the DVR which is part of the it's called the something Vocational Rehabilitation they can't even help how sad is that how re a rehabilitation place in the state can't even help that's that's where that's where right now where it started caving into me it's like well this is the only program in the state of Wisconsin that opposite so how you can't help me then it feels like I'm dead in the water yeah so then you know I I do I it's guilty of going down that rabbit hole M um but other than that I don't think I have anything else for you unless otherwise do you have any questions for me no I'm just wondering why she hasn't called only 231 she's probably trying to okay get it all facilitated and stuff they're probably going to record everything too I don't know how they all they record everything everything's
