on September 14th 2023 an officer from the Pleasant Prairie Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding [Music] roll the windows down turn the vehic walk and drop the keys outside the open window driver and all occupants of the vehicle this is the pleas PR Police Department you are under arrest put your hands up if your windows are open stick your hands outside the open Windows driver indicate with your fingers how many people are in the vehicle with you driver driver do not try to open the door yet until you are told to do so drivers slowly say stay right there keep your starting position for this test once you're in that starting position you're going to remain in that position until I tell you to begin the test okay you understand all right uh yeah be a heel the toe test okay what I want you to do is imagine a straight line in front of you coming out of your left foot oh yep don't do anything yet okay go ahead and take your left foot and put it on that that imaginary line for me now take your right foot touch Heel To Toe on that same imaginary line and have your arms down at your side oh I'm sorry that's okay just stand like this while I explain and demonstrate the test to you do you understand sure when I tell you to begin you will take a series of nine heel the toe steps forward on that imaginary line when you get to your ninth step you will keep your front foot planted take a series of small steps in a prescribed Manner and return on that same line n hilos us back it's going to look like this I'm going to demonstrate by taking three steps forward show you the turnning three steps back throughout the duration of the test you're going to look down at your lead foot and count your steps out loud while your arms are down at your side again it'll look like this one two 3 again you'll continue till 9 front foot stays planted small steps one 2 3 once again just make sure you're counting your steps out loud and once you start the test you're going to hold your foot parallel to the ground and keep your legs straight while looking at the toe of the raised foot arms down at your side you're going to count of allow in the following manner 1001 100002 1003 and so on until they tell you to stop again it's a 30se second test but I'll tell you when to begin and tell you when to stop okay do you have any questions for me no sir all
