On July 1st, 2023, officers from the Fox Point Police Department were dispatched to a retail theft at a Best Buy. The reporting party advised a heavy set black male fled from the store in a white Toyota Sport utility vehicle after shoving several items into his pants, which had not been paid for. Both the driver Anthony and the passenger Melvin received municipal citations in the mail for obstructing or resisting police. Anthony was also issued a summon to appear in court by mail for vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer.
