On July 26th, 2025, officers from the Depier Police Department responded to a welfare check of an armed individual at a boat launch. >> Hey, sir, police department. Everything all right? >> Oh, yeah. Scott was later pronounced deceased at the scene and no law enforcement officers or members of the public were injured during this incident.
