What time would you say and you didn't hear him leave? >> Uh, no. I mean, I heard I heard the door open, but I wasn't watching it. Like, if you want to know exact times, I couldn't tell you. >> Did you give like an approximate time? No. >> Was it dark out? >> Yeah. Yeah. I would say it's later in the afternoon. >> Okay. >> At least a few hours after I got my food. So, yeah, probably. >> I don't know. I can't give you an exact time. But what time? >> Well, I don't know if they were gunshots, but >> You heard a noise that was similar to gunshots. But what time? >> Um >> I don't know. Was it like an hour ago? No, before an hour ago. >> So, >> couple hours ago, maybe >> like 10. >> I couldn't tell you exact time. I don't even know what time it is right now, to be honest. >> It's 1:51. >> So, yeah. I like I said, I work night so I try to stay up and then I work Monday night. >> How many gunshots did you say you heard? >> Uh maybe nine. >> Nine. >> Something like that maybe. >> And what kind of like do you think it sounded like a pistol? A shotgun? Can I tell you? Not a shotgun, >> but I couldn't tell you that. >> Did you hear any sort of noise after anybody screaming? Any vehicles leaving? >> No. >> Did you look out the window after you heard them? >> No, cuz we got farmland over here and they shoot guns all the time. So, >> yeah. Yeah. >> I mean, there's I know I know this person over here. They fire guns. And >> did the gunshots sound relatively close? So, I mean, gunshots from over there and gunshots from like your next door neighbor. It wasn't enough to get me worried, I guess, is what I was saying. Like, no, I heard it, but it could have been I didn't, you know, I didn't really think anything of it. >> And it was about nine. >> You can't give me the exact time. >> No, I'm saying about nine shots. >> Yeah, I Yeah, maybe seven. I don't know. Exactly. >> More than one. >> Yeah, it wasn't one. >> Okay. And your what' you say your roommate was home? Was it before? Was it before or after you thought your roommate left? >> I can't tell you that. I not I can't tell you this cuz I I can't give you an honest answer. >> True. Okay. >> I mean, he comes and goes. Yeah. >> Does he own a firearm? >> He does own a firearm. >> What kind of firearm does he own? >> Glock 19. >> Is it inside the residence? I have no idea where it's at. It's in his position or I don't know if it's in his position, but he does. Oh no. >> You're making me really nervous. He do something stupid. >> No, >> I couldn't for sure say. >> Well, >> I mean, he we have we know where he is. Like, he's fine. And if that's what you're worried about. >> How long would you guys say you've been friends for? Like >> um >> total >> like somebody that you casually know or somebody that you know pretty >> Oh, we were good friends. >> Good friends. >> Yeah, we're good friends. >> And when he drinks, how would you describe his demeanor? >> Um I kind of avoid him when he's drinking. >> Okay. Does he turn kind of into an >> He just gets he can he has he can not always. He just more or less gets annoying. >> Can you answer our dispatch? >> Does he own any other firearms besides the >> Not that in the whole >> Does he usually keep the Glock in a safe? Is it out on the table? >> It's what I've seen. It's in a black, you know, Glock case that they come with. I think it's in his room, but I can't. I don't know if it's >> And where does he live inside? Upstairs. I don't know the layout of these houses. This room right here. >> This one? Yep. And I noticed one of your windows is cracked up there. Is that recent on your This one over here. >> That one right there. That seems like that's just a screen door. One time he got locked up and he had to jump up there, pop the screen. >> And how long ago was that? >> Before I moved in a long time ago. >> And do you own any firearms or anything? >> I do not own any firearms. >> So there's only one firearm inside the residence. >> Under my knowledge, yes. I mean, if you I know the one. >> Yeah. You've only seen the one? Mhm. >> Okay. I don't think I have any more questions for you. I'll check with Sergeant Moore to see if he has anything else for you. But we appreciate you coming out and talking to us. I know it's kind of a weird situation. >> Well, when I was sleeping, I thought I heard banging, but then like >> I went my door at 2 in the morning. >> Yeah. And then, you know, private. So, yeah. I was worried. I was worried. I hope he's okay. No one's hurt. He's He's not hurt. >> No. But anybody else? I don't care like if he's from >> there is an active crime scene. Yes. >> But we don't know if he's related to it. Um but we just had questions for you given the circumstances. >> Yep. I'm not Yeah. >> Yeah. And if we needed to, would you be willing to write a statement for us if we needed one? >> Well, I I guess >> I mean specifically like about how you heard the gunshots and everything. I don't think I could give you an honest statement. I don't know. I I don't know exact times. I couldn't >> Well, yeah. Okay. >> Um, so, >> have you had anything to drink tonight personally? >> No. Okay. >> Do you drink? >> I do, but I know I >> And when he drinks, what does he typically drink? >> Uh, brandy. >> Brandy. Okay. >> All right. I'm going to talk with Sergeant Moore real quick and then >> I'll just chill right here. Where you want me to go or what? >> Appreciate it. >> Thank you. >> Yeah.
